A Member Of The Corps
He was small for a Marine,
The dying boy there in the bed.
Three times he'd fought off cancer
but now, inside his head,
a serious infection
would claim his life instead.
Cody Green was only twelve.
All his life he'd loved the Corps.
They made him a navigator,
The insignia he wore.
An honorary soldier
A marine in time of war.
The crises was upon him.
He would not win this fight
A fellow member of the Corps
Stood honor guard all night
There would be a flag draped coffin
for this member of the Corps.

I Recommend Her
Mathis/henley/brown
Well, if you want someone to tear your world apart
Someone who will give it evrything shes got
If you wanna learn to cry, I recommend her
If you want someone whos really qualified, guaranteed broken heart every time
If you wanna learn to cry, dont let this chance pass you by
I recommend this girl to you, I recommend this girl to you
Shes had plenty of experience along this line, oh so many times
Shes torn apart this heart of mine, its fascinating, the way she operates
Shell put you down when you think youre finally getting someplace
I recommend this girl to you, I recommend this girl to you, yes I do
If you want your dreams to end before they begin
Someone who will ruin your life, and then laugh while you cry
Dont let this chance pass you by
I recommend this girl to you, I recommend this girl to you
I recommend her, I recommend her, I recommend her, I recommend her....

But the Air Force was sort of a bastard child of the Army, much like the Marines with the Navy. Everything had to be done over by the Army after it had already been done by the Air Corps, a mess.

I have drawn inspiration from the Marine Corps, the Jewish struggle in Palestine and Israel, and the Irish.
The Marine Corps is the Navy's police force and as long as I am President that is what it will remain. They have a propaganda machine that is almost equal to Stalin's.

Men do not fight for flag or country, for the Marine Corps or glory or any other abstraction. They fight for one another. And if you came through this ordeal, you would age with dignity.

Well, you sort of get out of the pool room, you get out of the Marine Corps, you get out and read some literature, you become involved with people who also want to know and are ready to share some ideas about literature and thoughts, and it becomes nourished that way.

Fit To Fly
Oh brother, man where are you
I am bucklin' from the load
I have lost my eye for color
And my heart can't see the road
Oh sister come and catch me
'Cause my legs, their prime has passed
I am breakin' from the sorrow
And my faith is fadin' fast
Mother, father help me
I'm your flesh and blood and bone
Don't you hear me, can't you see me
Am I doomed to live alone
Without warmth or love or honor
Like a dog out on the street
Am I trash 'cause I can't manage
Must I grovel at your feet
I'm the boy who fought your battles
And I'm the man who won your wars
Is it over? Have you used me?
I'm no value anymore
I'm your mothers, wives and daughters
I'm your fathers, husbands, sons
I'm the life's blood of this country
I'm the hopeful precious ones
Am I nothin'? Am I no one?
Once a fabric, now a rag
We treat people like they're nothing
We're not fit to fly, fit to fly
No, no, no, no - no, no, no
We're not fit to fly
Fit to fly a flag(no, no, no)
Join the army, see the world
The marine corps join the navy
We're not fit to fly
Fit to fly the flag

I Recommend Everyone Eat Cake
In regards to your digestion,
I would recommend...
The eating of more fruits and vegetables.
'That already poses a disagreement,
As you can see.
Now...
'If' you had 'suggested' the fruits,
And vegetables...
No one here would have ordered,
The icecream and cake.
Just to prove to you,
There are decisions they alone make.
To recommend is one thing.
However...
To suggest implies a willingness to try.
Now no one is concerned about their hips or thighs.'
What a difference a suggestion makes.
'I've been telling you that!
You will learn not to recommend,
But suggest.
The results are unbelievable.'
Hmmm,
I see.
I RECOMMEND EVERYONE EAT CAKE.
'You are wasting your time.
You've got to be a little more pro-active.
Can't you see that is what they are doing? '

Free Yourself and Let It Go
Deflated ego?
You think I say the things I do to you,
To deflate your ego?
I am hoping my assistance,
Helps you get rid of it.
And seeing no benefit in being limited.
And that's what your ego has done!
Made you believe you are number one.
And everything you do is correct.
Without a self examination...
Needed to allow you to live your best yet.
Deflated ego?
I may say some things to you that upsets.
I may even criticize something you do,
You accept as your best.
I might even attempt to strip,
That façade you charade.
Since it's your ego that has you 'tripped'...
When you see it for what it is,
You will realize your greatness has nothing to do with it.
In fact it is keeping you,
Inflated with bs and other nonsense.
Deflate your ego?
You think I do that,
From a threat I feel.
To diminish you in some way...
So I would have a greater appeal?
And deflating your ego would give me thrills?
You need to free yourself and let it go.
If you believe that keeping it,
Inspires a greater you with heights to reach!
Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Free yourself and let it go.
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
That ego you've got stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!
Stunts your growth!

Thoughts
OF ownership--As if one fit to own things could not at pleasure enter
upon all, and incorporate them into himself or herself.
Of waters, forests, hills;
Of the earth at large, whispering through medium of me;
Of vista--Suppose some sight in arriere, through the formative chaos,
presuming the growth, fulness, life, now attain'd on the
journey;
(But I see the road continued, and the journey ever continued;)
--Of what was once lacking on earth, and in due time has become
supplied--And of what will yet be supplied,
Because all I see and know, I believe to have purport in what will
yet be supplied.

Underwater
Scanning at the blue bended headlands
White flurry scudded, a dark silhouette flashes by, in the wet
It is glistening flesh
In the deep marine, in the deep marine
There is room for make believe out in the ocean
There is room for make believe out on the land
In the wet, in the dream, if its flashing then seen
In the deep marine, in the deep marine
Looking to the white framed headland
Green pockets dropping, a bright cockatoo
Circles up in the breeze, in the realm you cant reach
In the deep marine, in the deep marine
There is room for make believe out in the ocean
There is room for make believe out on the land
In the west, crashes by, its a green silhouette
In the deep marine, in the deep marine
No one can make her, no one can break her down
Underwater, over land
No one can make her, no one can break her
Underwater, over land
No one can make her, no one can break her
She is what she is and no one can bring her down, bring her down
Looking to the white framed headland
Green pockets dropping a bright cockatoo
Circles up in the breeze, in the realm you cant reach
In the deep marine, in the deep marine
There is room for make believe out in the ocean
There is room for make believe out on the land
In the wet, flashes by, its a green silhouette
In the deep marine, in the deep marine
No one can make her, no one can break her
Underwater, overland
No one can break her, no one can fake her
She it what she is and no one can bring her down, bring her down
Underwater, overland
No one can squeeze her, no one can freeze her now
No one can make her, no one can break her down
No one can seize her, no one can freeze her
She is what she is and youve got to see it
