This is supposed to be a participatory democracy and if we're not in there participating then the people that will manipulate and exploit the system will step in there.

This country has always been run by elite, and it's an elitist democracy. And that's not a radical concept. It's elitist democracy. When people talk about democracy, they don't talk - really talk about participatory democracy, until the point that we get us at Election Day.

Everything belongs to people
Everything belongs to people
Give back to the people
Give back their land their forest
Their hills mountains rivers
Give back to the people
Earth mines irons etc etc
Everything belongs to the people
Give the people the power
In democracy everything belongs
To people and democracy is
Of the people by the people and
For the people and people are
At the centre of power progress
Prosperity public funds
People are there just to forgive
And forget and do not take
The advantage of their ignorance
made the people know everything
Everything belongs to people
People are the people in this system
And the system depends on you only
You can make it coal
And people are there to group.

What should be targeted is a concept of organic, and not just mechanic, democracy that preserves the rule of law, separation of powers, and that is participatory and pluralistic.

What Democracy?
Is democracy a dream?
The human race aspires to
such things are seldom as they seem.
Although the people have a choice.
They seldom think their choices through
and so the wishes which they voice.
Can be ignored and flagrantly
by those who hold the power reins
which they acquired dishonestly.
The voting system is unfair.
Votes do not carry equal weight.
The major parties do not care.
They are content to wait their turn
To ride upon the gravy train
enjoying perks they do not earn.
If every vote was made to count
Then that would be democracy
Hold politicians to account
for promises they make then break.
Perhaps it’s time to rectify
the present system: Which would take.
a social revolution
to institute democracy.
Instead of the confusion.
The rule of many by the few
who claim they have the peoples vote
A statement patently untrue.
The vote I cast has no value
in this so called democracy
Its very sad but very true.

We're All In The Same Boat
Participatory democracy and propositions banned,
Nothing is allowed to change under the Ottawa command,
Plebiscites and binding referendums would interfere,
Establishment occupy the high ground but they are sincere.
And first-past-the-post system is going to stay there forever,
No proportional representation because that’s too clever,
The appointed Supreme Court will make all the proper decisions,
Therefore there will be no need for political revisions.
Because all decisions are all based on Trudeau’s Charter of Rights
Written for everyone in the world who want to avoid their fights,
This is one of the reasons why less than half of us even vote,
No influence, no changes and we’re all in the same boat.

Let It Burn
Knowledge is key.
You can never know too much.
Open your books aim to the stars
Well i won't let them
Keep me from learning all i can.
Public schools just stand up.
The system feeds our minds.
Did the system tell you about democracy?
The same system that supported slavery?
And doesn't it seem strange that
When we try to make a change
To lock us up and throw away the key.
I won't let you
Play me for a fool
Set me free to go to church
But i cant pray in school.
Make a decision for yourself
Don't bother with any trends
Open up a book
And share the knowledge with your friends.
Did the system tell you about democracy?
The same system that created slavery?
And doesn't it seem strange that
When we try to make a change
To lock us up and throw away the key.

The American people expect public servants to be able to police themselves. But instead of designing a system to enforce ethical conduct, Tom Delay and his cohorts have implemented a self protection system. Obviously, it wasn't good for democracy.

Happy New Year
Why can’t we plan when to die near the end of our lives?
We could decide for sooner or later because no one survives,
At the moment it’s against the law but maybe that could change,
But we don’t have an independent politician to arrange.
Because our politicians are tied to some party agenda,
Not allowed to mention recall or forbidden referenda,
Not even allowed to have set date elections or recall,
Democracy all right as we wait for an election call.
The establishment hates plebiscites and propositions are banned,
Participatory democracy is not allowed or planned,
The Swiss have assisted suicide and so do the Dutch,
The Americans in Oregon have and like it just as much.

Democracy doesn't recognize east or west; democracy is simply people's will. Therefore, I do not acknowledge that there are various models of democracy; there is just democracy itself.

Democracy
(Democracy in India has become a fun for certain people. The nexus between the corrupt politicians and corrupt officers is responsible for degrading the values of democracy)
People's state for the people, by the people,
But what kind of people?
Criminals, robbers murderers, rapists,
And off-course the corrupts,
These are the people?
And
honest, simple and plain speaking
Feel suffocated,
If this is democracy,
I denounce it.

Bloody Disgrace
During two horrific world wars
thousands of young men died,
defending freedom and democracy?
That's what they were told as they
marched off to a certain death.
But it was a calculated lie!
A hundred years on the freedom
they gave their lives for,
is a freedom for the rich and powerful
to manipulate the weak and poor with impunity.
Under the high flying flag of democracy.

A Picture Of Papa Bear And Baby Bear
our weakness
is to see a Madonna in
every creature
a mama bear
and a baby bear
the skin of the earth
is cold
and melting
the sun that watches all
these
can manipulate warmth
and then
exploit
the heels of Achilles
are exposed
how many of us
shall die without
noticing it?

What is democracy?
They said that the government of the people,
By the people and for the people, remarkable,
Democracy in many countries of third world,
Derived from aimless policies and controversies untold,
People on the street hope for the better tomorrow,
As the tomorrow, their hope never comes true,
Is Painting the finger once in a few years the democracy?
Is carrying the placards with empty stomach a liberty?
Are the indebted human tied with the voiceless economical stump?
When people having nothing, they have the voice,
When people everything, they have a voice with no noise.
Human are made dump for they not want to lose their properties,
Human are made to be tolerant, when they are kept vertical,
Human are confused with capitalistic democracy,
Human are not comfortable with socialistic democracy,
What is the meaning for democracy,
when the mind and the body are controlled?

In Democracy People Are Supreme
In democracy people are supreme
People elected their representatives
And sent to parliament to make laws
On behalf of them.
To make democracy a success
Endemic protest is necessary
To make the representatives in order
They should cautioned.
People are the soul of parliament
Parliament can change but not people
People are the root parliament is foot.
Come to the people O parliamentarian
O representatives of people
People are your master
You are there in different posts to
Serve the people and to do all welfare works.
Democratic institutions are for the people
Without people the state is a big zero
In democracy people are supreme
Do not handle the people in whim.

In democracy
Treachery and
Ruthless decisions
Not good.
In democracy
The representatives
Should be sensitives
Towards sensitive issues.

Canadians Need Direct Democracy
Canadians need direct democracy where the few do vote,
I realize that this idea is particularly remote,
We could force our politicians to change laws and pay heed,
With binding referendums where Canadians are all agreed.
But our established elites want nothing rearranged or changed,
That means that binding referendums will be looked on as strange,
Plus no set-date or mid term elections allowed in this land,
With participatory democracy and propositions banned.
Establishment types hate plebiscites because it might interfere,
Where they occupy the private-club high ground and are sincere,
Among civil servants, appointees, politicians and judges,
Information on the Internet might not get many nudges.
