The soul who meditates on the Self is content to serve the Self and rests satisfied within the Self there remains nothing more for him to accomplish.

Not That Deep of a Sleeper
What is it that you wish to accomplish,
In my space?
Mimics or mocking done,
Is not allowed.
And I will not be followed,
To review your moves...
With wishes to have me improve,
Approve or disapprove them.
What is it that you wish to accomplish,
In my space?
I can understand you wanting comfort.
But my own I will not sacrifice,
For yours to replace.
I am not beset with desires...
To enforce what is not there.
If the chemistry is natural between us....
All pieces will fit,
With none to force.
Or left over to spare.
Most peaceful dreams,
Are usually experienced alone.
And they come best...
When I am rested.
Feeling at home,
With a comfort earned and I condone!
What is it that you wish to accomplish,
In my space?
Since I am not that deep,
Of a sleeper!
Nor do I seek an honesty...
That hasn't to me been shown.
So what is it that you wish to accomplish,
In my space?
A willingness from me,
To patiently await for you...
To do your hypnotizing,
Spellbinding acts of magic?
Or are you hoping an attraction,
Captures.
And will last much longer,
After we have satisfied our lust...
To have hot sex?

I Aint Ever Satisfied
I love the things that scare most folks to death
But I aint ever satisfied
Ill stay till the end or till im gasping for breath
But I aint ever satisfied
No, I am never satisfied
I can pretty much come and go as I like
But I aint ever satisfied
Hey, with no bottom line its hard to know wrong from right
But I aint ever satisfied
Ill try anything once but than I do it to death
But I aint ever satisfied
I expect the worse but I hope for the best
Oh, I aint ever satisfied
No, I am never satisfied
No, no, no, no, I am never satisfied
Cantt get enough, no, of nothing
Ive got seven of everything and more in the till
But I aint ever satisfied
You think its dangerous stuff
It aint even a thrill
I aint ever satisfied
Oh, I am never
No, I am never
I dont know why I aint ever satisfied

You're Just Never Satisfied
If you love me. why do you hurt me
Come on baby. don't desert me
I was there when you were in trouble
Now you're fine but I guess you changed your mind
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
I don't mind it when you get angry
I'm not asking for you to beg me
All I want to do is remind you
How many times I put my ass on the line
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
You're just never satisfied
You don't care if I stuck with you
Covered for you, put up with you
'Cause all you wanna do
Is try your love with somebody new
Ooh
I've been wasting my time
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
You're just never satisfied

The Courage
Oh that I had the courage of my mom
but I can only catch a glimpse of it
like a peeping Tom.
Where did it come from, that conviction she had
that only the good would surface, never the bad?
She said to me once Be satisfied.'
That kind of thinking to me 's been denied.
It's hard to be satisfied with what's your lot.
Seems we want more than what we've got.
I've been granted more than my share
but still have the feeling that it's unfair
that she had the courage that I'm without.
She had the sureness and I the doubt.
Well none of us can replicate another,
especially the courage of one like my mother.
So I must content myself with this thought.
To find courage it must be sought.
So I search for it on everyday
and pray that it will come my way.
Then I know I'll 'be satisfied.'

Is
Greek
and other ancient languages
are happy with verbs
existing without a subject.
Renders.
Philosophers, silent;
poets, dumb;
contemplatives, still..
Is.
Becomes?
Continues?
Ends?
Cogitates:
Is?
Is:
cogitates.
Meditates.
Rests.
Cla rifies.
Wonders.
Praises.
Expands.
Em braces.
Loves.
Is.

Weep not my daughter
As little as nappies wrapped you
As a girl in Ville a flower in bud
In college fish brain brilliant
Here I see you
My heart sinks
Round and round
The world rotates you
Not a place your head rests
I'm here as fort from hailstorms
Weep not, your journeys rests
My soul rests in peace.

To A Pupil
IS reform needed? Is it through you?
The greater the reform needed, the greater the personality you need
to accomplish it.
You! do you not see how it would serve to have eyes, blood,
complexion, clean and sweet?
Do you not see how it would serve to have such a Body and Soul, that
when you enter the crowd, an atmosphere of desire and command
enters with you, and every one is impress'd with your
personality?
O the magnet! the flesh over and over!
Go, dear friend! if need be, give up all else, and commence to-day to
inure yourself to pluck, reality, self-esteem, definiteness,
elevatedness;
Rest not, till you rivet and publish yourself of your own
personality.

Unsatisfied
(Original by The Replacements )
Look me in the eye
then, tell me that I'm satisfied
Was you satisfied?
Look me in the eye
then, tell me that I'm satisfied
Hey, are you satisfied?
And it goes so slowly on
Everything I've ever wanted
Tell me what's wrong
Look me in the eye
and tell me that I'm satisfied
Were you satisfied?
Look me in the eye
then, tell me I'm satisfied
And now are you satisfied?
Everything goes
Well, anything goes all of the time
Everything you dream of
is right in front of you
And every dream is a lie
Look me in the eye
And tell me that I'm satisfed
Look me in the eye
Unsatisfied
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so dissatisfied
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so unsatisfied
Well, I'm-a
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so dissatis,dissattis...
I'm so

Im Satisfied With You
You dont dress up in satin,
You dont wear diamond rings,
But Im satisfied with you.
You look just like an angel but you havent got wings,
But Im satisfied with you.
Id rather have you just the way that you are
Than change you for somebody new.
Maybe I could do better if I reached for a star,
But Im satisfied with you.
Youre not made out of candy
But youre as sweet as you can be
So Im satisfied with you.
I just cant see no reason why you bother with me,
But Im satisfied with you.
I often wonder if its all a mistake;
Its hard to believe that its true.
But if Im only dreaming, I sure dont want to wake,
cause Im satisfied with you.
Im satisfied with you.

On A Path One Has Cleared Of Thorns
Desiring a life to accomplish what one wishes,
Is a challenge against those odds...
That come to discourage,
The one who remains focused.
Obstacles impossible seem to pop from everywhere.
To test emotions and one's endurance.
And anyone who has ever faced opposition knows...
Friends can become unconsious foes sometimes.
And those thought to be foes...
Eventually become those who are the most close.
One truly doesn't know who 'is' or who isn't...
Until it is recognized,
The one who has lived a life dedicated...
Being who they are from the beginning,
Becomes more appreciated by those...
Who acknowledge a life lived devoted,
Is not a bed of roses...
On a path one has cleared of thorns.
Desiring a life to accomplish what one wishes,
Is a challenge against those odds...
That come to discourage,
The one who remains focused.
On a path one has cleared of thorns.

Blotted Away
The Apostles,
Your next study;
To be blotted away!
And like a refreshing news in the land of your muse,
But many will still be purified and made white.
He meditates day and night,
And this is like a tree planted by rivers of water!
But the wind drives away the chaff.
She meditates day and night,
But blessed is the one who does not walk in the counsel of the unrighteous!
Not stands in the path of sinners;
For love is like a flower which is refreshed by water! !

Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. you only need a heart full of grace. a soul generated by love.

London
How can I write here when the walls have poetry?
And my soul is satisfied
When art hovers in the air and dances free?
When the heart has been explored over scones and tea?
How can I write when Keats once live down the street?
And Shakespeare rests beneath my feet?
What is there to add to the words of the greats?
With all that has been explored between love and hate
Do I lay to rest my pen?
Do I throw it to the air and in their words swim?
How can I write all that is in my heart and soul,
When my tale has been told
With far more tender grace
With far more eloquence and pace?
Please do check my grammar and spelling,
For I much to learn if I have a tale for the telling.

Little Talks
now i know what
little talks serve
what trivialities
accomplish
we become
part of a happy island
floating on the vast ocean
going somewhere
to a place which we
do not know
but somehow we are
never scared.

Home-Cooked Meal
Most poets will lie to you at some point
they serve up side dishes of lyrical fibs
so rarely do they serve home-cooked meals
of poetry that sticks to your ribs
forgive my honesty
but when it comes to soul food scripture one on one
I take the cake
from under the baker's thumb
most straddle the fence
and avoid their own heart
but trying to convince you to feel every word
and open up old scars
the kitchen seems a little hot for their liking
so, fast is the food of choice
but preservatives eventually wear away
and all that remains is the voice
the meal
the rage
don't let your pen fall asleep
on the page.

The Satisfied Mind
With a mind thats satisfied
With a mind thats satisfied
That big ice cream cone in the sky
Floats right on by
The satisfied mind never needs more
It never forgets whatever its for
Beyond control of hot and cold
With a mind thats satisfied
Each one goes together alone
With a mind thats satisfied
In the middle of a heat wave
An ice cold drink is a major find
In the long dead end of winter
Frozen lovers dream of fire
With a mind thats satisfied
With a mind thats satisfied
Lucky ones learn that love is blind
They dont deny
The satisfied mind never needs more
Never regrets and never keeps score
In the middle of a heat wave
An ice cold drink is a major find
Simple facts you can depend on
Bits and pieces of desire
With a mind thats satisfied
That big ice cream cone floats on by
With a mind thats satisfied
Lucky ones learn that love is blind
With a mind thats satisfied
The satisfied mind is satisfied
