The rest of the world cares about how we conduct our affairs because they then take that lead. We're the only leader in the world today. Some are wishing us well, others think that we're down and are not going to get back up again, but they are all watching with great interest to see how we conduct our business over the next couple of years.

Sweet Little Thing

Just down here said hello, tell me are you trying to get on
I said hey, now honey, I dont need your money, want you to push me around
You know I looked you in the eye, said hey baby show me which way to go
What I intend to do dont you make a move I got an interest in you
Well you know, you know I need, sweet little thing like you
Well you know, you know I need, sweet little thing like you
Caught me by the arm, held on tight, I said hey what you trying to do
If Im gonna make it Ill make it with you I got nothing to lose
Much too strong need a little help when you can help yourself
What I intend to do dont you make a move I got an interest in you
Well you know, you know I need, sweet little thing like you
Well you know, you know I need, sweet little thing like you

Europe's Problem

The Problem of Europe

There is an echo that rumbles in my liberal mind regarding
the Moslem population in Europe. Yes, we must accept them
they are citizens, but they do live in Europe now which has
different culture than the Moslem world. But it appears to me
they want to change a Europe to become like them.
The first generations of Moslems who came here were happy
to escape poverty and repressing regimes, however it is
the new generation who feel they are not being accepted…
but they are. Europe needs the energy and thrift the Moslem
youth brings as long as they don’t try to fit Europe into
an unreal sharia state that never existed other than in the mind
zealots. So my liberal mind is confused, I will bend for their
religious needs, but I will not live their repressed life, to be
straitjacket into religious rules I find objectionable.

Ship Of Fools

Hello europe here we are, everything is easy
Lets cross the border without stop
Italian pasta mixed with fine french wine would be great
My stomach knows no state
Blond girls from sweden
And if thats garden of eden
I think thats o.k.
Turkish dope found a license of the pope
Dont think thats the only way.
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools
Allright!
Belgium beer with a jgermeister-deer
Thats why we here, I think this ones not for you
And swiss francs brought to polish banks
Thats life! a hard bone to chew
I dont want no austrians be instructors
In my home I guess theres something better
Spanish guitars combined with twenty german tubas
That wont work but it really doesnt matter
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools...
Allright!
Hey, hey!
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools cheers!
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools just watch it!
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a drink in a ship of fools
Europe, europe rules!
Lets have a sink in a ship of fools
A shipper of a ship of fools, what part is that?
Europe rules, europe rules
Europe rules, watch your fools!

Sad State Of Affairs

It’s a sad state of affairs
When you start to loose your friends
No one there to show they care
You even miss them driving you round the bend

It’s a sad state of affairs
When your ego is your compadre
He whispers in your ear 'you’re right and fair
You don’t need them, pay attention to what I say'

It’s a sad state of affairs
To know your smarter then those around you
What’s the point me going to your lair?
You speak nonsense but to you it sounds true

It’s a sad state of affairs
To have nothing going on in your life
Inside you’re dying to get up off the chair
But lack of motivation is your new strife

It’s a sad state of affairs
When you can’t even pay your bills
But to be honest do you even care?
Give me alcohol, shrooms and more pills

It’s a sad state of affairs
To not remember the years growing up
Except the fights between your family and your frère
Makes you think 'I could jump into that slowing truck'

It’s a sad state of affairs
When your writing is what you confide in
Teenage angst mixed with an adults raging stare
On this mountain of life I see people climbing
It’s a sad state of affairs
When you realise you’re the one slipping and sliding

Pay You Back With Interest

(clarke / hicks / nash)
Too many people need me
Ive got so much, so much to do
But when my travelling is over
Ill pay you back with interest
Ill pay you back with interest
It seems unfair to leave you
And sell myself the way I do
But when my wandering is over
Ill pay you back with interest
Ill pay you back with interest
Most of my life Ive been moving
And when I tire out Ill come home to you
But until then Ill be waiting
Ill pay you back with interest
Ill pay you back with interest
How cold is my room, (how cold is my room)
Without your love beside me
We look at the same old moon (looking at the moon)
But youre not here beside me
Ill pay you back with interest
Ill pay you back with interest
Break
Too many people need me
Ive got so much, so much to do
But when my travelling is over
Ill pay you back with interest
Ill pay you back with interest

Sometimes.. all the times

Sometimes I keep on building high walls around me
Not to keep myself away
But to see who cares enough to break them all
Who cares enough to make them fall

Sometimes I keep on constructing barriers around my heart
Not to keep my heart safe
But to see who cares enough to start

Sometimes I keep myself inside a fence
Not as a defense
But rather to see who really feels me... who has enough sense

Sometimes I keep on creating obstacles for whoever wants me close
Not to play “hard to get”
But rather to know why am I the one he chose?

Sometimes I prefer to be isolated
Not to be lonely …
But rather to see who cares enough to come close and approach me

Sometimes I prefer to be remote
Not because of fear
But rather to see who cares enough to be near

Sometimes I prefer to keep the distance
Not to act arrogant
But rather to see who cares enough to be persistent

Sometimes I do not take any initiative
Not because I’m acting so protective
But to know to whom am I really attractive

Sometimes I intend to be passive
Not to show no interest
But to see who cares enough to be impressive

Sometimes I intend to be mysterious
Not because I want to look serious
But rather to see who cares enough to be curious

Sometimes I intend to be unsocial
Not to be rude
But rather to see to whom am I really special

Sometimes I keep on wearing masks hiding my real self
Not to pretend
But rather to see who will remove them in the end

Sometimes I keep all my secrets covered
To see to whom and how it will be discovered

Sometimes I lock my door
To see who is willing to explore
Who really cares enough to know me more

Sometimes … all the times ….
And until now I haven’t found the kind of care I need
I haven’t found that someone who cares enough to succeed
