I had gotten one of the first Korg synthesizers with 300 presets.

I hate the idea of getting in a building that someone else has designed and having to do something to it yourself to sort of dress it up - it's like using presets in your tracks.

I was never worried that synthesizers would replace musicians. First of all, you have to be a musician in order to make music with a synthesizer.

We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. The world henceforth will be run by synthesizers, people able to put together the right information at the right time, think critically about it, and make important choices wisely.

Electronic Performers
We are the syncronizers
Send messages through time code
Midi clock rings in my mind
Machines gave me some freedom
Synthesizers gave me some wings
They drop me through twelve bit samplers
We are electronic performers
We are electronics
We need to use envelope filters
To say how we feel
Riding on magnetic waves
We search new programs for your pleasure
I want to patch my soul on your brain
Bpm controls yoour heartbeats
We are the syncronizers
We are electronic performers

Put me on Im your brand new record album
Side one, cut one listen to the songs
Play me loud dont you worry bout your nieghbors
Hope I make you feel good all day long
All day long
Put me on and play me loud
Im the madman screaming in your living room
Ill soon be coming to your town
To sing and play a little tune
I said put me on and playme loud
Turn your stereo up all the way
All the way
Now your bodys immersed in sound
So hear the synthesizers play
And now youre in the mood
Let the melody just drift your cares away
Its got to do you good
As it mesmerizes you in its own way
So drift away...

This Years Girl
See her picture in a thousand places
cause shes this years girl.
You think you all own little pieces
Of this years girl.
Forget your fancy manners,
Forget your english grammar,
cause you dont really give a damn
About this years girl.
Still youre hoping that shes well spoken
cause shes this years girl.
You want her broken with her mouth wide open
cause shes this years girl.
Never knowing its a real attraction,
All these promises of satisfaction,
While shes being bored to distraction
Being this years girl.
Times running out. shes not happy with the cost.
Thered be no doubt, only shes forgotten
Much more than shes lost.
A bright spark might corner the market
In this years girl.
You see yourself rolling on the carpet
With this years girl.
Those disco synthesizers,
Those daily tranquilizers,
Those body building prizes,
Those bedroom alibis,
All this, but no surprises for this years girl.
All this, but no surprises for this years girl.
All this, but no surprises for this years girl.
