My parents did not have a perfect marriage. It was pretty good, but it was not perfect. My marriage is not perfect. My wife is, but I happen to be imperfect. However, that does not discount the fact that the definition of marriage must be defended and protected.

Famous Fable

The famous fable,
The famous table,
The famous stable,
The famous cable,
The famous babble,
The famous gable,
The famous parable,
The famous variable
The famous sable;
But, able to crown your love with my muse!
For, you are all that i need.

On Marriage

Pessimistic views: :
Marriage is a gamble!
Marriage is a punishment;
Marriage is an evil that
Most can’t but accept.

Optimistic views:
Marriage is a gift of God;
Marriage is a blessing;
Marriage is an enjoyment,
We make the best of it.

Truths:
Marriage is so wonderful;
Marriage is so fulfilling;
Marriage is so wholesome;
Marriage is an endless love,
More priceless than all wealth!

Marriage is a way of life;
Marriage is so natural;
Marriage is the better way,
For two, to reach Heaven.

At the Altar

Now to take away your life –
Devour your soul afresh upon
The birth of every dawning day
– The spawn of sun and earth –
As of the way Prometheus lost hepatic flesh –
He stole fire! You stole gropes
And f*cks of me; so suffer thee!

Oh yes, perspire! Drizzle down the beads
Upon that crimson, blotchy skin –
I see the once cocksure pose, my man,
Is wearing terribly thin.

Indeed, an absence of repose
Discloses thumping in your chest –
Irregularly rhythmic – like the humping
(When you thought I was a body to molest) .

No more! my little man, for I shall wrest
The living essence from your
Paling, quivering form! –

You’ve had your gentle calm
Before the rumblings of the storm!

Lovely Mistake

Marriage, often a mistake,
can be a lovely one.
In marriage you can have your cake
and it eat––oh what fun! ––
although it isn’t perfect––what
on earth is that? It can
be lovely though it may be not
precisely what a married
man or woman would describe
as peachy. It is carried
like remainders after you
divide, but better not divided.
Mistakes, though multiplied,
in marriage should not be derided,
and always should be eyed
as much part of the territory
as what in Eden’s Garden stood,
the famous Error Tree
without which Eve and Adam could
not have lived lovingly.

Inspired by what Michael Tilson Thomas, in a concet program called “The Thomashefskys” says his grandmother, Bessie Thomashefsky, once told him about her marriage with her husband Boris, whom she left when he established a liaison with a beautiful Romanian Jewess called Mrs. Zuckerberg who, he told Bessie, reminded him of her when she was young girl. Bessie married Boris when she was less than sixteen and was undeterred by his multiple liaisons with his many fans until Mrs. Zuckerberg came along. But even though she left him and even competed with him on different stages she told her grandson: “Our marriage was a beautiful mistake.” Bessie was at Boris’s bedside when he died.

Wife to Be (Petrarchan Sonnet)

I stroll along a fragrant country lane
With honeysuckle perfume on the air -
And feathered crooner's warble to revere -
Then cross a golden sea of flowing grain
In empathy - it seems to sense my pain
Of knowing all was done with my affair -
Her empty meaning now the solitaire
She cast away - betrothment all in vain.
But oceans team with many fish to catch
So I must up and hoist another sail
And seek the one that really waits for me,
For soon auspicious breezes will prevail
In guiding forth to find a truer match:
The one to take my hand as wife to be.

A marriage of two

A marriage of two
is for love that is true

A marriage of two
is always something new

A marriage of two
happens sometimes out of the blue

A marriage of two
is worth it when its due

A marriage of two
is a marriage of trust
Many can find themselves lost
It can be an expensive cost

They are only very few
who have a clue
of when love accrues

A marriage of two
is about love making
It is not about
money raking

A marriage of two
can be bad
A marriage of two
can be sad
You should only be glad if
A marriage of two
is for love that is true

Perfect Part 2

I don’t need perfect cloth
I don’t need perfect hair
What I need is a confidence

I don’t need perfect score
I don’t need perfect job
What I need is a support

I don’t need perfect word
I don’t need perfect dream
What I need is a chance

I don’t need perfect agreement
I don’t need perfect control
What I need is a solution

I don’t need perfect holiday
I don’t need perfect memories
What I need is a peace of mind

I don’t need perfect home
I don’t need perfect family
What I need is a comfort

I don’t need perfect love
I don’t need perfect life
What I need is an understanding

Single & Free

Right now that's how I rather be
Marriage failed leaving me single
Giving me an opportunity to mingle
Having the freedom to be myself
The divorce made me
Realize that there wasn't anything left
This life I live is new to me
Sometimes missing the joy
Of marriage and family
At times it's hard getting adjusted to
However I like the freedom that it gives you
Although marriage may sound a lot better
That's what people say
Those who choose the single life
Won't feel this way

Happy Anniversary

Marriage is not a perfect arrangment, but it's a perfect thing to committed to...
It's how to grow side by side with all of the consequences of yr 'I Do'...
It's how to stay together and be happy to pursue the same dream...
You could let yr mind and heart free but be wise not to loose it...
You could share yr mind and heart with the other but not yr love and devotion...
Marriage is a new chapter it's yrs to decide what kind of story you'd like to have for a life...

Happy Anniversary...

To dilute divorce law

Marriage is a defunct institution
Unless one of the partner accepts
Being unequal to the other.
Marriage is heading to be outdated.

Marriages have so far been successful
Because the woman partner accepted
Being unequal from their dependency
With the male partner as the bread winner.

Marriage is a social obligation.
Marriage is a legal compulsion.
To stay in marriage is more important
Than being happy in the marriage.

Partners, independent of each other,
Hardly find reasons to remain together.
It's time the need of marriage was gone through.
It's time the divorce law was diluted.

Your Perfect Little Girl...

Your perfect little girl dropped a grade on her report card.
Your perfect little girl yelled at you last night.
Your perfect little girl painted her nails black.
Your perfect little girl lied to you all her life.
Your perfect little girl cries herself to sleep.
Your perfect little girl slits her wrists till she bleeds.
Your perfect little girl hates you.
Your perfect little girl hates herself.
Your perfect little girl has given up on life.
Your perfect little girl had a tantrum today.
Your perfect little girl has her head in the toilet after dinner.
Your perfect little girl wants to run away.
Your perfect little girl hasn't let you dry her tears.
Your perfect little girl disobeyed you.
Your perfect little girl hates the world.
Your perfect little girl is hated by the world.
Your perfect little girl is very unhappy.
Your perfect little girl tried to commit suicide.
Your perfect little girl became a disgrace.
Your perfect little girl keeps alot of secrets.
Your perfect little girl deals with everything on her own
Your perfect little girl had to grow up too fast.
Your perfect little girl is on the edge of breakdown.
Your perfect little girl just isn't so perfect anymore.

My Perfect Sister

MY PERFECT SISTER
My perfect sister holds me tight
My perfect sister kisses me goodnight
My perfect sister knows when I’m mad
My perfect sister helps me when I’m sad
My perfect sister is so smart
My perfect sister has my heart
My perfect sister is good and nice
My perfect sister holds me at night
My perfect sister loves me lots
My perfect sister ties the knot
My perfect sister is here to stay
My perfect sister I have until this very day
My perfect sister I wish you well
My perfect sister yes I can tell
My perfect sister asked if I lied
My perfect sister knows if I’ve cried
My perfect sister has moved away
->My perfect sister is in my heart to and will always stay
