It Takes Some Guts By a Mug Stuck

The battle to be won from things done dumb...
Is the one that has one stung,
By a lover on the run!

What does it take to get a mug stuck,
Out of a rut?
It takes guts,
To never give up!

A fight fought to make things right,
Wont shine a brighter light...
To fly a higher kite.
When tears drip drop,
From eyes at night.

What does it take to get a mug stuck,
Out of a rut?
When tears drip drop,
From eyes at night.
It takes guts,
To never give up!

The battle to be won from things done dumb...
Is the one that has one stung,
By a lover on the run!

What does it take to get a mug stuck,
Out of a rut?
It takes guts,
To never give up!

What does it take to get a mug stuck,
Out of a rut?
It takes guts,
To never give up!

A fight fought to make things right,
Wont shine a brighter light...
To fly a higher kite.
When tears drip drop,
From eyes at night.

It takes some guts by a mug stuck,
To never give up!
And get rid of the pity party,
Sipped from a cup.

It takes some guts by a mug stuck,
To never give up!
And get rid of the pity party,
Sipped from a cup.

It takes some guts by a mug stuck,
To never give up!
And get rid of the pity party,
Sipped from a cup.

Leap Of Faith

All over the world the rain was pourin
I was scratchin where it itched
Oh heartbreak and despair got nothing but boring
So I grabbed you baby like a wild pitch
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust
Now your legs were heaven your breasts were the altar
Your body was the holy land
You shouted jump but my heart faltered
You laughed and said baby dont you understand?
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust
Now you were the red sea I was moses
I kissed you and slipped into a bed of roses
The waters parted and love rushed inside
I was jesus son sanctified
Tonight the moons looking young but Im feelin younger
neath a veil of dreams sweet blessings rain
Honey I can feel the first breeze of summer
And in your love Im born again
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust

The beauty of the mother

I may have guts to defy my mother.
I’ve guts to ignore and neglect her
But no guts could I muster to insult her.
That is the beauty of the mother.

Too Many Gifted Drift On 'Ifs

Too many gifted drift on 'ifs'.
Unsatisfied with a life that's missed.
And this is what is reminisced...
When giving up on rhythm and reason!
To stay stuck in ruts they choose to live in.

Too many want to give up just lip.
Sitting to dwell in aging sentiments.
To waste every second someone gives them.
And puffing hot air about nothing!

A swift kick in the rear will motivate.
Rotating stale debates don't renovate.
Procrastinators hesitate in waste.
Initiating simulated movement faked.

Eliminating anything that takes...
Removal of excuses that create headaches.
With a towing of their moans they own!

Too many gifted drift on 'ifs'.
Unsatisfied with a life that's missed.
And this is what is reminisced...
When giving up on rhythm and reason!
To stay stuck in ruts they choose to live in.

Mistakes We Make

We all sometimes mess up,
It takes some guts to fess up.
That's alright, mistakes,
Are made, just do retakes,
Again and again and again,
Much learning, we regain.

Thats What It Takes

And now it begins to shine
And you found the eyes to see
Each little drop at dawn of evry day
Your smile, it comes back to me
And whatever you may say
Dont let it stop, never fade away
As we got to get out in this world together, oh
Doesnt really matter if we start to make some changes, oh
If thats what it takes (thats what it takes)
Then Ive got to be strong (thats what it takes)
Dont want to be wrong
If thats what it takes
The closer I get (thats what it takes)
Into that open door (what it takes)
Ive got to be sure
If thats what it takes
And now that its shining through
And you can see all this world
Dont let it stop, never fade away
If we got to be in this life forever, oh-oh
Then wed better be taking all the chances, oh oh
If thats what it takes (thats what it takes)
Then Ive got to be strong (thats what it takes)
Dont want to be wrong
If thats what it takes
The closer I get (thats what it takes)
Into that open door (what it takes)
Ive got to be sure
If thats what it takes
Thats what it takes, thats what it takes
Thats what it takes, thats what it takes
(thats) what it takes, thats what it takes
Thats what it takes, (thats) what it takes
Thats what it takes, oh, thats what it takes
(repeat and fade:)
Oh, thats what it takes

Idiot

Please remember me forever
Believe in me as someone
Who's never gonna wish you well
I'm gonna tell you what I think about you in that unforgivable way I do
You're an idiot
And I hate your guts
I guess I'm about as happy for you as I would be a cockroach in my food
I know it's terrible
I really hate you though
Do you have your fairytale life
Or are you dancing to the white trash [trance]
Oh please remember me
Believe in me as someone
Who's never gonna wish you well
leave
I had to [bullsh*t] love
Ooh, I hated your guts
And I heard the opposite of love isn't hate
It's indifference
But I can't relate
It's not good enough
Cuz I hate your guts
Did you sell your mediocre mind
You had to find out why you're better off with broader [lines]
CHORUS
Oh please remember me
Believe in me as someone
Who's never gonna wish you well
Oh please remember me
Believe in me as someone
Who wants you to go to hell
You're in me, you're boring
Oh, did you hear me snoring?
I don't mutilate myself when I talk to you
So tell me how did I hope you could tell that I'm no one's pearl
You can have em, go to hell
You're gonna die on us
They're gonna hate your guts
CHORUS (x2)

Like This Piece

it takes the guts of a real man
to love the nonsensical
the body that gives more fun
than the brain
the line that repeats upon itself
without the click
it takes patience to appreciate
what is so boring
so lonesome
to love the miserable
the hunger that best initiates
the good meal
the thirsts that longs for what
has long been denied
the mouth
like this piece after you have read it
you ask
what is this all about?
this is about the nonsensical
and you have just
taken it
you are the real man
carried by the letters to places
that you want to understand
to the closed and opened qoutations
of being.

Bank Robber

I much admire, I must admit,
The man who robs a Bank;
It takes a lot of guts and grit,
For lack of which I thank
The gods: a chap 'twould make of me
You wouldn't ask to tea.

I do not mean a burglar cove
Who climbs into a house,
From room to room flash-lit to rove
As quiet as a mouse;
Ah no, in Crime he cannot rank
With him who robs a Bank.

Who seemeth not to care a whoop
For danger at its height;
Who handles what is known as 'soup,'
And dandles dynamite:
Unto a bloke who can do that
I doff my bowler hat.

I think he is the kind of stuff
To be a mighty man
In battlefield,--aye, brave enough
The Cross Victorian
To win and rise to high command,
A hero in the land.

What General with all his swank
Has guts enough to rob a Bank!

Climbing From Ruts

Not 'who' is he?
But 'what' is he?
To know.
Before the showing?
To have that showing...
Grow.
To be known.

Not 'who' is she?
But 'what' is she?
To know.
Before the showing?
To have that showing...
Grow.
To be known.

They are the ones,
Unstung.
And freed,
From under a thumb.

They are the ones,
Unstung.
And freed,
From under a thumb.

Climbing from ruts.
Undone.
And looking up.
Undone.
And taking risks,
Unlimited...
Others may sit and resist.

Climbing from ruts.
Undone.
And looking up.
Undone.
And taking risks,
Unlimited...
Others may sit and resist.

They are the ones,
Unstung.
And freed,
From under a thumb.

Not 'who' is he?
But 'what' is he?

Climbing from ruts.

Undone.
And taking risks,

Others may sit and resist.

They climb from ruts,
Undone.
And looking up.
Undone.
And taking risks,
Unlimited...
Others may sit and resist.

They climb from ruts,
Undone.
And looking up.
Undone.
And taking risks,
Unlimited...
Others may sit and resist.

Climb up from ruts,
Undone.
Looking up,
Undone.
And taking risks,
Others may sit...
In arrested limitedness.

And they pursue,
Undone.
And renew.
Undone.
Not like the few,
Undone.
Who run from the Sun!

And they pursue,
Undone.
And renew.
Undone.
Not like the few,
Undone.
Who run from the Sun!
To leaking roofs.

Undone.
And run from the Sun,
To leaking roofs.
Undone.
And run from the Sun,
To leaking roofs.

To be a mom....

To be a mom takes guts, fortitude and patience
It takes courage, love and strength
Some times being a mom means carrying a child behind your heart
Some times being a mom means carrying somebody in your heart

Its a spiritual birth meant for those who have learned to love
Sometimes its given to those who've found this strength

Some people think motherhood is a physical action. I don't
To be a REAL mom takes heartfelt action and sometimes inaction

Lord, help me be a better mom today. Help me be involved, loving and responsive to the needs of my child.

Today I want to thank the moms out there who have been there for me in my own process and growth.

One More Time!

You may not like what is said!
And go to bed with an achy head.
To wake up the next day dragging dread.
But...
The ruts you keep bottling up to cuss.
With a fussing that slows your strut.
Is for you to face.
And not others to embrace,
Your reality!

In Fear to Live Without An Approval Given

Comatosed,
And going through programmed motions.
A life grossed out,
With overdosed imposed notions.
And under hypnosis,
As neurotics sometimes appear.

Stuck!

In ruts.
And too addicted to give them up!
In fear to live without an approval given.

Lives becoming too corrupt!
For those who've been fed...
Their lives lived,
Are headed towards bad luck!

Stuck!

In ruts.
And too addicted to give them up!
In fear to live without an approval given.

While some on the other hand,
Wearing shoes spit shined...
Reflecting all for them is going grand.
All is fine.
With seats sitting on top of the World.
Are never seen behind the scenes...
Throwing their temper tantrums,
As if spoiled boys and girls.
Screaming from inside their soundproof cells.
No one hears them screaming!
Not the ones who believe them to be living well.

Not from the hell they've made!

Fresh pressed dresses.
And suits with no hints of lint.
Often send wrong messages...
To those impressed!
Expressing their bittersweet and sour laments.

Stuck!

In ruts.
And too addicted to give them up!
In fear to live without an approval given.

The ones deluded by the giving of false presentations,
Waste too much time...
Finding excuses to make!

And hoping no one passes judgements on them,
In acceptable discussions in those social circles wished...
To be invited to participate because of their exquisite tastes.
And not for the bad impressions rejected.
Or an image dismissed,
By those who choose to keep their images faked!

Stuck!

In ruts.
And too addicted to give them up!
In fear to live without an approval given.

For me, romance isn't an over-the-top act. It's someone offering to help and to support me. Or if that person thinks I'm making the wrong decision, he'll tell me. I want him to be honest, because being that honest takes a lot of guts.
