Democracy forever teases us with the contrast between its ideals and its realities, between its heroic possibilities and its sorry achievements.

Iron Math and Society
I have so easily accepted these pulley ropes
hoisting my self's achievements for all to see.
Fames' Face
applauds Ambition's ends
and I am promised
to be uplifted
to Security and Prosperity;
Potentialities and Promises
Possibilities gleaming,
Glowing Future-Beacons
calling for Hard Work
Sacrifice and Ideals
to deliver me and mine,
where Deliverance
sits with Happiness
and Contentment
and presumably Love
and Friends too.
A lot here recommends.
But the Pulley Ropes
remind me
simultaneously,
cruelly,
paradoxically
of the zero sum-
one up for me
often is one down for thee,
Iron Math and Society,
algebraically;
gainless goals for me
pains for thee
nothing is the total
algebraically.
Iron Math Indeed.
Competition's seeds
equal
I win
you lose
equally.
Sad outcome for you
and less clearly,
also
for me.
The Competitive Engine roars
and devours the Participants
who, in riding Success's Whirlwind
pay the Conductor's Fee in Ideals Foregone.
We grapple with Horizons
cut from Competitive Cloth
ignorant of other
Choices
Yet Unseen.

Gifted To Waiting World
because
you have a love
of poetry
and ideals
fill your world
beauty
awaits
in many
realities
many
universes of
mind
how many
can be realized
created in
one lifetime?
beauty
of thought
of mind
transcends
into realities
of beauty
gifted
to waiting
world

Krishna Complains About His Older Brother
O mother mine, Dau (Balram)forever teases me.
you never gave birth to me,
and I was bought in the market.
this is what he tells me
o mother mihne, Dau forever teases me.
fed up of his teasing ways,
I don't go out to play.
who is your mother?
and who is your father?
again and again he says.
Yasoda's fair, so also Nanda,
how come you're so dark?
Dau provokes, the gopas laugh,
and all have such a lark.
me, mother, you want to beat,
but Dau you never even scold,
seeing the anger on Mohan's face
Yasoda's joy was untold,
listen Kanha, Balbhadra is naughty,
wicked from his birth,
you're my son, and I your mother,
I swear by mother cows worth!

Kissing Power
Kisses upon kisses
Teases upon teases
Certain madness fills the air
It is termed as love I fear
Kisses upon kisses
Teases upon teases
Touches upon touches
My hearts broken pieces
Are once again at peace
Kisses upon kisses
Teases upon teases
Touches upon touches
Flattery upon Flattery
Love always sparkles without batteries
Lips upon lips
First a taste of your tongues tip
Admiration induces exploration
While love ignites imagination
I can feel your kissing power
And the sensational effect it showers
I can feel your kissing power
As you handle me like a delicate flower
Week legs
Pleasure begs
I can feel your kissing power
While you kiss me by the hour
Don't stop!
Be my hero not my flop!

In democracy
Writ of the peole runs.
In democracy
Repesentatives should not
Called leaders.
In democracy
Representatives must not
Act as er whim.
In democracy
Representative should not
Show dictatorial style.
In democracy
Representative should not have
Arrogance of power.
In democracy
Treachery and
Ruthless decisions
Not good.
In democracy
The representatives
Should be sensitives
Towards sensitive issues.

Invalidate.
The truth is like democracy
An ideal we aspire to
But it seems we can't agree.
Nor are we ever likely to.
What's true for me is not for you
What you believe I can't accept.
We hold opposing points of view.
Each one deserving of respect.
We tend to see democracy.
As rule by the majority.
Subjected to close scrutiny
It proves to be a fallacy.
Someone must wield authority.
Though sadly there are very few.
Who have the capability
and even fewer willing to.
Assume responsibility.
So we make do with second best.
But is that true democracy.
I have to say I'm not impressed.
By Ideals which I don't believe.
That we cannot possibly achieve.
One truth and true democracy.
As long as men think differently.
To tell the truth I find it odd
That men who claim to speak for God.
Can hold so many different views
Infinite in variety.
The being who created me
Saw fit to set me free.
No priest has the authority
To take away my liberty.

In the infinitude of God’s consciousness there exist countless possibilities
but all that does really happen must be in accordance with Divine realities.

Free Me From Your Teases, Please
Free me from your teases, please.
No longer can I hide inside,
That exposed exterior side I show.
You are chipping away at it.
And I'm noticing how I can not resist.
Something you do keeps me anticipating...
A boost of the 'giddy'
That begins to reveal my insecurities.
Stop it and dropp this teasing done to me!
Free me from your teases, please.
You make me uncomfortable.
And I know this you can see.
I can not look you straight in your eyes.
You're doing something to me,
And I am caught by surprise.
Why have you picked me to do this to?
I am not a piece of putty,
Or wish to you to be glued!
Free me from your teases, please.
I will not be your next choice,
To play the fool for you.
Unless you give me a sign or a clue...
You are serious to pursue,
The depths of my lust!
And how you and I can keep that thrusting!
On a daily basis with touches we trust...
Belong to just us!
I can be discreetly sleazy.
Expect that to please...
And end your teases to meet your needs.
I can and will deliver.

Murdering Dreams
When no one is looking
I count the steps
in front of my house
no reason apparent.
I linger in front of photographs
that resemble you
and I allow
cruelly
the contrast
between you
and my present life.
Disappointment
is harder to bare sometimes
in real life
catapulting us
to alternative realities
concocted by our mourning minds
which seek those media dreams
of the perfect life
of escape from the flesh and blood realities
surrounding us
introducing to us
dripping disappointments
in self, others and family.
How guilt-dripping is this dynamic
where reality is seen to be
cruelly oppressive
compared to those media visions
concocted for us
by movies and tv.
Murdering false dreams
is what, therefore, the children
must do
in order to grow up
and become part of humanity.
Otherwise
a grieving shadow
that seeks that happily ever after
becomes a mind dripping
of false realities.
