The whole mystery of temptation is to have sins suggested to us, and to be swept after them by a sudden enthusiasm, which sometimes feels as strong as the Spirit of God ever made in us the enthusiasm for virtue.

Fires can't be made with dead embers, nor can enthusiasm be stirred by spiritless men. Enthusiasm in our daily work lightens effort and turns even labor into pleasant tasks.

Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes shine to the stars. Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your gait. The grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas.

Fun is fundamental. There is no way around it. You absolutely must have fun. Without fun, there is no enthusiasm. Without enthusiasm, there is no energy. Without energy, there are only shades of gray.
Apathy can be overcome by enthusiasm, and enthusiasm can only be aroused by two things: first, an ideal, with takes the imagination by storm, and second, a definite intelligible plan for carrying that ideal into practice.

Enthusiasm
One who is possessed by God,
Is known as a person with Enthusiasm;
He is at the threshold to the Lord,
And has with him no phantasm.
His mind is fresh as a rose,
And he is ever present in his work;
At it he is positive and close,
And desires to do things and not shirk.
He never acts in hurry and haste,
And on any person does bank;
He is prudent and doesn't waste,
His quest is to be high in rank.
He ever wishes to take in knowledge,
Wherein his charisma steadily increases;
With enthusiasm he gets enough courage,
And he doesn't deviate from his creases.
He is ever exuberant and passionate,
And tends to be upbeat and bubbly;
He never likes his job to procrastinate,
And completes things sans mishap, calmly.
In life he is always optimistic,
And is a positive personality;
He plans his work in a manner realistic,
Being vernal and fresh is his speciality.
Like a plant which is in the process of growth,
He drums up , before God, his enthusiasm;
And while he prays he takes in an oath,
Between him and God there should be no chasm.

Cultivate your curiosity. Keep it sharp and always working. Consider curiosity your life preserver, your willingness to try something new. Second, enlarge your enthusiasm to include the pursuit to excellence, following every task through to completion. Third, make the law of averages work for you. By budgeting your time more carefully than most people you can make more time available. Does the combination of curiosity, enthusiasm, and the law of averages guarantee success Indeed it does not ... Success in the final analysis always involves luck or the element of chance. Louis Pasteur grasped this well when he said that chance favors the prepared mind.

An attempt to understand spirituality
An attempt to understand spirituality
The term “spirit” could mean
The soul that gives life to your body
And keeps it alive and active
The term could also mean
The spark or inspiration
That keeps you enthused
And help you stay active,
Creative and contribute
Spirituality may mean
Understanding the former or
Keeping the latter
Nourished and nurtured
Oriental scriptures do not
See the former separate
According to these scriptures
The soul is always
In association with the
Natural environment,
The body (where it is housed)
With a set of physical and emotional qualities
Designed by the nature
And in link with the super soul, the God
All religions, in some way
Or the other
Aim at understanding the spirit
Its stance in the middle of natural environment
And its link with the super soul
All rituals aid in this understanding.
So, spirituality can be the outcome
Of the combination of the terms
“Spirit” and “rituality”
The message is clear
Keep always linking the understanding
Of the spirit with rituals and
Thus become spiritual
Stay not just ritual
Nurturing the spark of
Your enthusiasm is the other way
Of your being in the spiritual path
How to go about
Realizing your desires keeps
You enthusiastic
If the desires are selfish
And thoroughly materialistic,
Though you get initially enthused on achieving them,
You get frustrated and exhausted
On either others’ better progresses
Or your failing short of your own scales
If the chase is after
Selfless and altruistic ends
Your spirit of enthusiasm
Never dies and it keeps its glow
In fact, enhances it
As while on that chase
You do not see others
And you mind not failing
What nourishes your spirit
Is the effort and
Not the results thereof
You choose the spiritual path of your liking
Understanding the soul or
Upkeeping your enthusiastic selfless efforts

Unintending To Be Perceived As Offensive
I accept with appreciation,
Compliments from others.
Who become aware of my attempts.
Sometimes I wish,
I could express more enthusiasm.
To show such thankfulness for such gifts.
And this I've done for many years in my routines.
With a doing done I do,
In a process that of my creation sees.
I accept with appreciation,
Compliments from others.
Who become aware of my attempts.
Sometimes I wish,
I could express more enthusiasm.
To show such thankfulness for such gifts.
And I do say, 'Thank you.'
Since I am grateful for the attention my gifts get.
Although I consider myself an 'elf' sometimes,
Just doing my part as God's work in progress.
With a doing at times God knows,
Can be a bit mischievous with a willingness unintending.
To be perceived as offensive when that deed I do gets done.

I regret it
I regretted it through out the day
It was never my style or way
Still it was not short of blunder
Rain too expressed displeasure with thunder
R
Inwardly I felt something had gone wrong,
I felt so much isolated for long
Not at ease to breathe and sing a song
Weakness surfaced and made me weak from strong,
Something I did which my conscious did not allow
I should have acted wise but did not follow,
Carried away by temptation which shouldn’t have been?
Shown so much enthusiasm as if I was so keen
It is making me nervous
Reason may not be true but obvious,
I never fall in trap any time previously
As I was claimed to be taking everything seriously
No one has seen my guilt
It is mechanism in built
Any good and gentleman may feel its pulse
Temptation and greed will have to be repulsed
Heart may skip a beat but will not obey
Mind will not rule but try to have sway
Past may influence and resent will take you away
Only physical presence will matter and stay
It will constantly hurt me and bite
Darkness may be felt even with light
guilt may be felt even if I might be right
Defeat will have to accepted even without fight
Forever you may feel easily got laid
Not attentive even when good words are said
It will continue to hurt me even more
I try admit it to HIM just before,
You may have sound sleep and joy
No more guilt to fear but cheers and enjoy
Immediate redress may relieve the worry
Need not feel shame and not to say sorry
