Flatterers look like friends, as wolves like dogs.

Pets
Do we love dogs because we can dominate them?
They do as they are told (after some struggle)
and love us unconditionally because they know it
is their only chance of survival; and after a while
do they really love us as a slave loves his master?
Wolves on the other hand will never give a paw
they refused to be enslaved, want to be free of
human’s interference and we hate and fear what
we cannot dominate or train to do our bidding;
maybe it is wrong to keep pets?
Dogs have been with us since stone age when
being with humans were less stressing than
having to compete with wolves for food?
When the moon is full dogs howl their distress
asking if they have made the right choice?

Take care that thou be not made a fool by flatterers, for even the wisest men are abused by these. Know, therefore, that flatterers are the worst kind of traitors; for they will strengthen thy imperfections, encourage thee in all evils, correct thee in nothing; but so shadow and paint all thy vices and follies, as thou shalt never, by their will, discern evil from good, or vice from virtue. And, because all men are apt to flatter themselves, to entertain the additions of other men's praises is most perilous. Do not therefore praise thyself, except thou wilt be counted a vain-glorious fool; neither take delight in the praises of other men, except thou deserve it, and receive it from such as are worthy and honest, and will withal warn thee of thy faults; for flatterers have never any virtue — they are ever base, creeping, cowardly persons. … But it is hard to know them from friends, they are so obsequious and full of protestations; for as a wolf resembles a dog, so doth a flatterer a friend.

When the strong box contains no more both friends and flatterers shun the door.
Hollow flatterers
Hollow flatterers,
Do absolutely nothing for me.
Maybe because I've observed them before,
From childhood.
Those people showing their toothy smiles.
As if friends.
And behind someone's back,
They flap their lips loosely with gossip to attack
Compliments not honesty,
They perceive as a correct thing done.
But a sincerity felt in truth...
Is disconnected from them,
And this they can not do to show to anyone.
And as I age with a clarity,
That is daily wisening...
I see the hollow flatterers empty of depth and deed.
And wonder I do to myself as I observe...
Do these people realize others through them can see?
Flapping their lips loosely with gossip...
Yet deceptive as they practice,
A self righteous hypocrisy.

Dogs (Homage)
Man’s best friend?
Why?
There is nothing quite as cute as a puppy
Dogs are more than pets, they’re companions
Dogs are fiercely loyal
Dogs protect life & property, even to their own demise
Dogs do not judge their masters
Dogs are grateful for any food fed them
Dogs can be trained to carry, guide, search, rescue and hunt
Dogs are great listeners
Dogs are ready to play anytime
Dogs are emotional sponges that absorb human misery
Dogs are wonderful match-makers and buffers
Dogs can chase away “The blues”
You can take a dog’s balls and he’ll still love you
Yes,
Dogs are 'Man’s best friend'
After all God is Dog spelled backwards...

The Winter Wolves Are Coming
The Winter Wolves are coming
They are drawing ever near
The Winter Wolves are coming
They smell our blood, our fear
The Winter Wolves are coming
In packs of hundreds and more
The Winter Wolves are coming
They are knocking at our door
The Winter Wolves are coming
With teeth as sharp as knives
The Winter Wolves are coming
They mean to take our lives
The Winter wolves are coming
The smell our blood, our fear
The Winter Wolves are coming
The Cold of Death is here.

Ever Shall It Be
Ever shall it be
When the sky cries rain
Friends come with gentleness
To wipe away the pain
Ever shall it be
The distressing wind sighs
Friends are laughing
To bring joy into your eyes
Ever shall it be
Lonely wolves howl to the moon
Friends gather ‘round you
To sing a merry tune
Ever shall it be
The frozen sit in cold
Friends dance with liveliness
And warm you in their hold
Ever shall it be
The pines moan in sorrow
Friends speak lightly
Of a bright tomorrow
Ever shall it be
Darkness closes in
Friends uncover lights
Shining from within
Ever shall it be
Friends are always there
Friends to lean on
In the depths of despair

Vikram G Aarella says, let the dogs bark
Few dogs barking at an elephant
will not cause it any bother,
Instead of chasing them off
it would do its job rather.
For some, racism is innate
don't argue with them or fight
ignore them like dirt,
they will meet their fate.
With the use of words like yours
you are a real poetry shark,
some are good, some really bad
but, they talk about reality stark.
Let the foxes, wolves and hayenas
along with the dogs bark,
Aarella bhai will be with you
my words you can mark.

Stray dogs
Here and there and everywhere
Stray dogs doing business
And barkedup wrongtrees
And spoiled the working
Environments.
Stray dogs have no
Commonsense not true
Stray dogs encounter
The alien.
Stray dogs safeguard
The interest
And ensure to make
The area clean.
Stray dogs welcome
Common mass
Stray dogs do not like
Corrupt class.
Stray dogs can only think
The morrows
Stray dogs have practical
Experience and knowledge
You know I know all know.

Dog, Actually
Don't waste your time calling my name
I'm far too busy to play your game
I'm sniffing a dog's bum and it's doing the same
Cos I'm a dog: and that's what dogs do
I'm very excited when it's time for my walk
The peg where my lead hangs I watch like a hawk
I'd shout 'Take me walkies! ' if only I'd talk
Cos I'm a dog: and that's what dogs do
I run down the garden chasing after my ball
I leap on my hind legs so I look rather tall
When food's being offered I'll respond to your call
Cos I'm a dog: and that's what dogs do
I'm quite young and active and love to play
And when evening comes by the fire I'll lay
I'd like to sleep on a bed but in my basket I'll stay
Cos I'm a dog: and that's what dogs do
I'm a big labrador and my friends call me Billy
I'm soft and I'm gentle and just a bit silly
When I'm not eating biscuits I'm licking my... paws
Cos I'm a dog: and that's what dogs do

Throw Them Back To The Wolves
Throw them back to the wolves.
The ones released from cellblock envy.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Those who love their crime defined.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Those who break laws all the time.
With nothing but 'bling' on their minds.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Trouble makers showing butt.
Groom to believe they should give it up.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Victims of their own disguises.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Raised on 'rap' and packing 'heat'.
Dimmed with wit is their destiny...
This was how they were raised to be.
Detoxed and recovered.
From baubles, beads and bangles hanging.
Some don't want to have another...
Victimizing chain of gold,
To prove to anyone they're bold.
Leaving streets to the others.
Those who choose to do their 'thing'
From swagger punted schoolyard swings...
And learning from demented idols.
Who could care less who is destressed.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Boo doo doo boo doo boo boo doo.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Boo doo boo doo boo do boo do!
Throw them back to the wolves.
Boo doo doo boo doo boo boo doo.
Throw them back to the wolves.
Boo doo boo doo boo do boo do!
Throw them back to the wolves.
That's the way they'll always like it.
With the others in cellblocks...
Locked out!

Mad Wolves
Wolves running wild
Beast and beauty,
Howling full moon instigates
The dead to rise above
And watch us as to
Try and cause some
Paranoid state so we
Don’t disturb their eternal
Bliss.
These wolves,
Mad wolves, brute in
Nature.
Howling at full moon they
Are transformed in beauty and
Beastly eloquent hunting manner,
The calling of the dead to rise.
These wolves, dead wolves
And humans too kill to
Survive.
Then sleep
When the sun rises over Atlantic
Coast.

Lupus
The Lupus
Wolf, feared animal in folktales, is back in north Europe
it was eradicated, or so we thought, but they have been
observed in woodlands wiser than before, they don’t
like sheep and rabbits avoid humans and dislike dogs.
prefer deer though, and wild boars. As historians tell us
never did wolves kill man. But you can’t beat the power
of fairytales, they eat little children and prowling cats.
If this goes on hunters say there will be no wild animals
For us to kill, get rid of them “grey foot” is our enemy.
And dark tales fill the papers, a wolf has been observed
near a kindergarten, spots of lamb blood in the snow.
Wolves are always seen in the mist just like in folklores
Let’s kill them now before it is too late our children get
eaten by those shadowy four legged, satanic monsters.
A question remains thought, why don’t wolves like sheep?

Dogs A Best Friends Dog
Shame
Dog shame
I know whats wrong
Mans too old and wise
Bring in the dog
Turn on
Down the mountain rescue
Slip and slide when sunny
Small cat better move along
Or this bitch could do harm, baby
Straight as an arrow
Im walking the dog
Three is a crowd
Two is a dog and me playing
(whats he saying)
Free as a cloud
No one ever really knew you
Make clear your illusion no, no, no, no
Some dreams you dream you alone
You thank christ youre coming home
Better better give the dog a bone
Go go go go chew chew chew chew
Some dreams you dream alone
Go get a life and ease the pain
Dogs a best friends dog
Dogs a best friends dog
Word, speech, blurred, bleached
Tell mr godot Im walking the dog
Walking the dog
Some dreams you dream you alone
You thank christ youre coming home
Better better give the dog a bone
Go go go go chew chew chew chew
Some dreams you dream alone
Go get a life and ease the pain
Dogs a best friends dog
Dogs a best friends dog

Love Me Love My Dog
We are an animal loving nation
but dogs are the number one pet
we spoil our canines rotten
and give all our money to the vet.
Dogs become part of the family
they get fed all the best grub
they get taken on long walks
and even get to go to the pub.
Old people like their company
and youngsters love them too
even when they leave dog mess
because they can't go to the loo.
They like to guard our homes
keep watch when we go out
they warn us with their barking
if there's a stranger about.
Some dogs are very strong
and are built for a fight
but others are very gentle
and would never give you a bite.
There are dogs which are lazy
and just like to sit and rest
whilst some are full of life
with lots of energy and zest.
But they make great friends
if they're treated right then
they'll want to be with you
during the day and the night.
So yes we do love our dogs
even when they leave their mess
but I do wish there was a breed
that could talk and play Chess!

Uh, this go out to my dog Kato
Rest in peace baby, it's a K thing
Dogs that I call my friends
Prayin for all my friends
Things I do for my friends
We miss you! Aiyyo Kato!
We started off, two dogs with the same goals (uh)
Nothin but two dogs walkin the same roads (uh)
Two different cultures, but had the same heart (yeah)
Enjoyed seeing the light, but lived in the dark
Dipped out and bumped heads in the parking lot (aight)
It was a quiet brother, didn't like to bark a lot
Came through wreck (uh), when he came, gained respect
So I gave respect (uh), we shared, the same respect
Two names to rep in our own circles (what)
Two brothers with good hearts
But if you start, two bothers that'll hurt you (yeah)
Know how that dirt do, hittin for quarters
Arf arf arf arf! Right back on orders
Guys tried to warn us, but sometimes we don't wanna see
When I first heard, I'm like, this can't be!
Y'all niggaz is buggin, got the wrong information or somethin
Please tell me that these niggaz is frontin! God, no
Dogs that I call my friends, prayin for all my friends
Things I do for my friends, we miss you! Aiyyo Kato! (We miss you Kato)
Dogs that I call my friends, prayin for all my friends (We miss you Kato)
Things I do for my friends, we miss you! Aiyyo Kato! (We miss you Kato)
Yo K, let me kick it with you for a minute
It was things left unsaid, dog, we wasn't finished
Never got to say thank you for being a friend
Dogs for life, and you, rolled til the end
Held dog down, didn't let a day go by
Every time dog came to the shy (what) - I was good
Trips out to fendis, with the scramblin squad
If I come back to Phoenix, like, damn it's hard
To accept the fact (uh) that you won't be comin back (uh)
But I hope he comin back (uh), cause I won't accept the fact (uh)
When you came to New York, you had to come to the crib
And vice versa (yeah), that's just how we did
Remote-control cars, what! We would race all day
It was adventure we would chase all day (yeah)
So I'm not gonna say goodbye, my nigga (uh-uh)
Instead I would rather (rather)
Focus on the time we spent together, dat's what matters (for real)
Dogs that I call my friends, prayin for all my friends
Things I do for my friends, we miss you! Aiyyo Kato! (We miss you Kato)
Dogs that I call my friends, prayin for all my friends (We miss you Kato)
Things I do for my friends, we miss you! Aiyyo Kato! (We miss you Kato)
I need you save me a spot, nigga, next to you and the Lord (aight)
I don't know when I'm comin, but keep checkin the door (aight)
But while I'm here, knock on wood
I'll make sure your kids remember who their father was, and thou is good
(Aigh) Understood how real niggaz move, we don't talk
But you always gonna have family in New York, believe that (yeah)
And where you at, you can see that
We dogs for life and in death, and I mean that, vato
Dogs that I call my friends, prayin for all my friends
Things I do for my friends, we miss you! Aiyyo Kato! (We miss you Kato)
Dogs that I call my friends, prayin for all my friends (We miss you Kato)
Things I do for my friends, we miss you! Aiyyo Kato! (We miss you Kato)
Yo, Where The Hood At is bangin right now man
That was your favorite joint, knahmean (We miss you Kato)
It's goin just like we thought it would baby
(We miss you Kato) Yeah (We miss you Kato)
[Val]
I'll always love you K

Charcoal Night
On a charcoal night the owl calls.
On a charcoal night wolves sharpen their claws.
On a charcoal night children shake with fear.
The charcoal night is growing near.
On a charcoal night the demon dogs sing.
On a charcoal night the little stars gleam.
On a charcoal night the air goes cold.
The nightmares and stories are always told.
On a charcoal night wolves wet their fangs.
On a charcoal night the owls call rang.
On a charcoal night the beasts are out.
On a charcoal night this is their town.
On a charcoal night lock up the doors.
On a charcoal night don't sleep on the floors.
On a charcaol night say good bye to those dear.
Because the charcaol night is finally hear.
