In This Lifetime
All things one will receive,
In this lifetime.
Will come.
To leave.
In this lifetime.
That which is believed,
In this lifetime.
Will change as one grows.
To learn, accept and come to know.
In this lifetime.
With trust there is happiness.
If kept.
Much is tested to address...
Each season manifested.
Reasons we all share,
To compare if something in life is missed.
Makes us seek pieces to complete...
With a snug fit.
In this lifetime.
And in this lifetime,
All that is received...
Leaves.
With air that is free to breathe.
That seems not to be an option,
In this lifetime of teased choices made to choose.

We're sad about some of the losses of members of great seniority and distinction in the Congress, and some very new members, who will no longer be serving with us.

Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best
quotes about the debt ceiling:
'I could end the deficit in 5 minutes, ' he told CNBC. 'You just pass a law
that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all
sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. The 26th
amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months
& 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in
1971...before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to
the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the
land...all because of public pressure.
Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of
twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do
likewise.
In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the
message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
*Congressional Reform Act of 2011*
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office
and receives no pay when they are out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All
funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security
system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system,
and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for
any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans
do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay
will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the
same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American
people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective
1/1/12.
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen
made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor,
not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours
should serve their term(s) , then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take
three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Maybe it is
time.
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS! ! ! ! ! If you agree with the above, pass it on.
If not, just delete. You are one of my 20. Please keep it going.

I think if you look at yesterday's New York Times poll, particularly when you judge Democrats in Congress versus the Republicans in Congress, people put a little more faith, or even a little more than a little more faith in the Democrats in Congress.

One Night In A Lifetime
There's more to question than answers
and sand will slip through your hands
and love is faster than lightning
so grab it while you can mm, mm, mm...
Well I've been searching forever
between the bad and the good
but now I know what I'm missing
and I wanna make it with you
One night in a lifetime
one life in a night
one night in a lifetime
and babe it's gotta be tonight
babe it's gotta be tonight
One night in a lifetime
one life in a night
one night in a lifetime
and baby it should be tonight
baby it should be tonight
One night in a lifetime
one night, one night, one night
in a lifetime, one night
They say that love is a gamble
and luck will play a trick or two
but I'll risk all of my loving
I'd put my last buck on you
One night in a lifetime
one life in a night
one night in a lifetime
and baby it's gotta be tonight
baby it's gotta be tonight
One night in a lifetime
one life in a night
one night in a lifetime
and baby it's gotta be tonight
baby it's gotta be tonight
One night in a lifetime
one night, one night, one night
in a lifetime, one night
One night in a lifetime
one life in a night
one night in a lifetime

The Outlaw Torn
And now I wait my whole lifetime for you
I ride the dirt I ride the tide for you
I search the outside search inside for you
To take back what you left me
I know I'll always burn to be
The one seeks so I may find
And now I wait my whole lifetime
My whole lifetime
The Outlaw Torn
So on I wait my whole lifetime for you
So on I wait my whole lifetime for you
The more I search the more my need for you
The more I blast the more I bleed for you
You make me smash the clock and feel
I'd rather die behind the wheel
Time was never on my side
So on I wait my whole lifetime
My whole lifetime
The Outlaw Torn
And I'm torn
Hear me

If there's anyone in my lifetime who deserves honor it is Billy Graham. I think he is the most significant figure since the apostles.
Dear Lifetime
Dear lifetime
Dear lifetime
Listen to me
Are you standing, waiting for me?
Are you running, will you follow me?
Dear lifetime
Answer me
What will remain of us?
Remain of us
Chorus:
I wont turn around, I will wait
I can run away, I will stay
Was I born with loneliness to die?
Was I born with loneliness to die?
Youve died before
And you nestled in against
Against my chest
I feel ashamed, you sound so cold
I feel ashamed, your blood is old
Chorus
I laid down my soul so you could see
I had no identity
I drowned in my homemade loneliness
And died of the thirst of my selfishness
Chorus
Dear lifetime, dear lifetime, dear lifetime
Chorus
You sound so cold, I feel ashamed
Your blood is old
Dear lifetime, dear lifetime, dear lifetime, dear lifetime

For God’s Service
For God’s Service, we are fit, when filled with God’s Holy Spirit,
Given power directly from Christ, as God works through our life,
Controlling all we do and say, when we abide in Him day to day,
Serving Christ, our Glorious King, the one controlling everything.
With Christ in complete control, He leads in tasks, big and small,
Tasks that we wouldn’t have done, if we did not know God’s Son,
But He leads us each day and hour, guided by His Spirit’s power,
To faithfully serve Christ above, sharing His Goodness and Love.
Witnesses for the One we serve, with blessings we don’t deserve,
As God saved us from a former life, to walk anew, in Jesus Christ,
We serve and love Christ Jesus, because God first loved all of us,
Even before we thought of Him, God’s Love saved us from all sin.
Serving Christ is an honor friend, service for The King with no end,
Service for Christ for all eternity, since God first loved you and me,
It is an honor, but it’s an obligation, to reach for Christ every nation,
With His Salvation, that all men need, whether or not, they do heed.
It is God’s Spirit that leads the way, bearing our witness day to day,
Opening up doors and other ways, to share Christ, to God’s Praise,
Using all us through various means, as seeds, He sows and gleans,
As The Holy Spirit continues to use, all of us to spread Good News.
Eight Easy Steps
How to stay paralyzed by fear of abandonment
How to defer to men in solve-able predicaments
How to control someone to be a carbon copy of you
How to have that not work and have them run away from you
How to keep people at arm's length and never get too close
How to mistrust the ones you supposedly love the most
How to pretend you're fine and don't need help from anyone
How to feel worthless unless you're serving or helping someone
I'll teach you all this in eight easy steps
A course of a lifetime you'll never forget
I'll show you how to in eight easy steps
I'll show you how leadership looks when taught by the best
How to hate women when you're supposed to be a feminist
How to play all pious when you're really a hypocrite
How to hate god when you're a pray-er and a spiritualist
How to sabotage your fantasies by fears of success
I'll teach you all this in eight easy steps
A course of a lifetime you'll never forget
I'll show you how to in eight easy steps
I'll show you how leadership looks when taught by the best
I've been doing research for years
I've been practicing my ass off
I've been training my whole life for this moment I swear to you
Culminating just to be this well-versed leader before you
I'll teach you all this in eight easy steps
A course of a lifetime you'll never forget
I'll show you how to in eight easy steps
I'll show you how leadership looks when taught by the best
How to lie to yourself and thereby to everyone else
How to keep smiling when you're thinking of killing yourself
How to numb a la holic to avoid going within
How to stay stuck in blue by blaming them for everything
I'll teach you all this in eight easy steps
A course of a lifetime you'll never forget
I'll show you how to in eight easy steps
I'll show you how leadership looks when taught by the best

Honor & The Doors Of Life
Honor, morality, faith and integrity
Are the glue which holds society in place.
Pornography, hate, jealousy and greed
Cause man to be plagued by disgrace.
Night and day we're informed by headlines
Which seem to give evil added time.
Always at war killing one another
In our world full of violence and crime.
Be thankful for the upright among us
Who desire to obey God's laws.
Repentant when wrong they change their ways
Serving the rest of us despite our flaws.
Honor, morality, faith and integrity
Are what life's heroes are made of.
Defending what's right; confronting what's wrong
Propelled by achievement, and love.
