William Butler Yeats

The years like great black oxen tread the world, and God, the herdsman goads them on behind, and I am broken by their passing feet.

The Passing Time

Ah, passing time you don't need any reason to change the black to white

You always run so fast during our happy days like a while

And When we are sad and alone you humble there years

Every minute passes by longer than years

The people those we love soon they disappear

Those who were lovers yesterday today become strangers

Ah, passing time how brutal you are to swift away our delightful years

Berlin Wall

Berlin Wall

Divided, divided; world was divided
Great Chinese wall was broken by artillery bullet
Great wall of among two worlds was broken
Berlin wall broke and collapsed

Keeping ruins of
Broken wall of Berlin
Remnants seen by stopping
Broken heart burnt

Boundary of black and white world
Shows the whole picture
When looked at by white color world
Everybody is silent

Blackness of the red world
Come and see from the eye of west
Even there are no positives
Such a hidden thing would be constant

To see the ruins
People are on pilgrimage
Eyes of look are quite
A gap of instances

Digging tunnels
Jumping over the wall
Looking for the west freedom
Have found expected goal?

Being Disappeared past
Are showed to new generation
Children are playing
In two sides of difference
Without having recognized

Broken down
It is not only the wall of Berlin
Broken down
Left branch dream

Though it is shown by hiding
Teaches a lesson
World is a field of Freedom
Is not one and only problem

Passing Through

I saw jesus on the cross on a hill called calvary
Do you hate mankind for what they done to you?
He said, talk of love not hate, things to do - its getting late.
Ive so little time and Im only passing through.
Passing through, passing through.
Sometimes happy, sometimes blue,
Glad that I ran into you.
Tell the people that you saw me passing through.
I saw adam leave the garden with an apple in his hand,
I said now youre out, what are you going to do?
Plant some crops and pray for rain, maybe raise a little cane.
Im an orphan now, and Im only passing through.
Passing through, passing through ...
I was with washington at valley ford, shivering in the snow.
I said, how come the men here suffer like they do?
Men will suffer, men will fight, even die for what is right
Even though they know theyre only passing through
Passing through, passing through ...
I was with franklin roosevelts side on the night before he died.
He said, one world must come out of world war two (ah, the fool)
Yankee, russian, white or tan, he said, a man is still a man.
Were all on one road, and were only passing through.
Passing through, passing through ...
(lets do it one more time)
Passing through, passing through ...

New Year's Eve

WE stand above the abyss; beneath our feet
Around and onward infinite darkness rolls.
The sky above is black; the watch-bell tolls
The dying year. While slow in silent feet
Pale ghosts come towards us from the ice-locked street
5
Of thought's great city; faces young and old,
Eyes sunken, features set and deathly cold
And noiseless bear the dead year's winding-sheet.
But lo! where now we stand is worn with tread
Of millions; in the darkness feel, the ground
10
Is dust of powdered bones; sure, on this peak
The years have died, and millions of the dead
Have waited vainly through the gloom profound,
For dawn of day or trumpet-voice to speak.

The World And His Dog

(instrumental)
Windows are closing, you smell the track
Traffic is heavy
Up riding the rack
Bodies are buried, freeways and wells
Boneyards with vistas
Gateways to hell
When it's all over,
You'll frown and fret
Way down the line
Where no angels tread
Soldiers are gathering, not missing a beat
A poetry reading, while reaping the wheat
Out looking for Venus
She's black marble on ice
Cut to precision
Weighted like dice
When it's all over, You'll frown and fret
Way down the line, where no angels tread
Maybe you'll make it, maybe you won't
The world and his dog, won't care if you don't
(instrumental)
When it's all over,
You'll frown and fret
Way down the line, where no angels tread
Maybe you'll make it, maybe you won't
The world and his dog won't care if you don't
When it's all over,
You'll frown and fret
Way down the line, where no angels tread
(instrumental over and out!)

Black Valentine

Making love? Is it all I want? Do I really care for you?
These Questions are on my mind, passing through...
Kisses, Hugs and Roses.
Stuffed-dolls, chocolates and the voices...
Saying 'I Love You.'

It's been many years of 'I Love You',
Tears and laughs that together we've been through.
Thousand of kisses, hugs and wishes.
You know love is the reason why did I wrote this...

Black Valentine, No, Don't Approach me,
Let Mr.Cupid's arrow rip right through me.
Make this day as red as the roses,
Keep me away from broken-up promises!

Black Valentine, Black Valentine,
Never play with this heart of mine.
Let me be your soul mate, Let us blend.
Let the days of heart-break come to an end.

Flowers and chocolates could make you smile,
But would our love last for even a mile?
I could hear your voice and see your face,
But between us how come I feel a huge space?

Black Valentine, Black Valentine,
Even though you are always with me all the time,
I know that whatever I do, You can never be mine...

Black-eyed

I was never faithful
And I was never one to trust
Bordeline and skitzo
And guaranteed to cause a fuss
I was never loyal
Except to my own pleasure zone
Im forever black-eyed
A product of a broken home
I was never faithful
And I was never one to trust
Bordeline by polar
Forever biting your nuts
I was never grateful
Thats why I spent my days alone
Im forever black-eyed
A product of a broken home
Broken home
Black-eyed, black-eyed
Black-eyed, black-eyed
Black-eyed, black-eyed
Black-eyed, black-eyed
I was never faithful
And I was never one to trust
Bordeline and skitzo
And guaranteed to cause a fuss
I was never loyal
Except to my own pleasure zone
Im forever black-eyed

Dreams

Through the misty swirls of broken thoughts
I passed the waterfalls you named unshed tears
And saw the single ray of hope
Piercing through the shadows of dark
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Through the fantasy in your mind
I slayed the monster you named hate
With the sword of eternal light
Forged in the fires of pure love
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Through the kaleidoscope of feelings
I saw the colors you named emotions
Mysterious black of unknown depth
And piercing blue of tranquility
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Through the plush grass of emerald green
I ran through the field that you named peace
And heard the distant roar of freedom
Followed by the hush of calm
I walk through dreams that are still yours
Fear not, for I tread softly still

Never Been Here Before

Never been here before,
I'm on top of the world.
Never been here before,
but I still i walk through door.
Venture into to the unknown.
I'm no longer alone.
You brought me to my knees.
God how I want to please.
I want to cure every disease.
One at a time that's fine.

Never been here before,
I'm on the top of the world.
Never been here before,
but still I walk through the door.
A uncertainty for eternity I thought.
But its not. Look at this shiny rock.
Look at what I got.
Its a miracle with a wave of the hand.
The rain stops, the flood halts before my feet.
The feeling is so sweet.
Some days you look good enough to eat.

Never been here before,
I'm on top of the world.
Never been here before,
but still I will walk through that door.
Moving mountains.
Making thunder without a single blunder.
Such great chemistry, it has infected me.
With a great sense of irony
Defying the order of chaos.
Creating something from a loss.
When I can't afford the cost. still I do it,
still I fight right through it.
Feet burning, soul urning, mind churning.
Life so surprising. So many secrets.
Divulge some please.

Never been here before,
I'm on top of the world.
Never been here before,
but still I walk through the door.
Walk through this door, this door.

Doctors’ Day 2007

Behind a man who’s successful,
There is a woman of great worth;
Behind a woman of great fame,
There is a man who goads her on.

Behind a pupil studious,
Are parents, teachers and some friends;
Behind a child who brings laurels,
Are seen the family-members all.

Behind a doctor of repute,
Is found much labor and wisdom;
Behind a healer who is great,
God stays, blessing his healing art!

The doctors’ profession is great;
Ennobled, they must change the fate
Of patients suffering, in pain,
And dying undiagnosed, ‘insane’!

Black Day

In this essence they call life
There is nothing I can see
There is a world I am standing in
A world without belief

The days grew longer
Years are passing
I am getting older
That feeling in me
Still remains Unknown

The world is a ball
Monitored by computers
We have all become puppets
And lost control over reality

There is no trust
No belief
No respect
No love
No commitments

Where do we stand
How do we stand
If this world is so great
Why do we as humans
Allow other humans to fall

Who do we trust
How can we trust
Where does one begin
This is not the world
I want to live in.

The Battle Of The Blue & Grey

Now its gone ,gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to say
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
Well, Im an old man now and Im born to win the race
People wont believe me but theres truth in what I say
Many hearts were broken and a lot of tears were shed
The sky was black and the battlefield was red
Now its gone , gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to sa
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
Now ,stonewall jackson stepped right up and then he said to me
He said the battles gettin rough son, guess we better flee.
Theres grapeshot all around us and the field is black with lead.
You better start a-runnin boy before you lose your head .
Its gone , gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to say
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
Well, the cannons roared around us and the field was black with lead
I picked a soldier dressed in blue and filled him full of lead
I picked out six more soldiers there a-sittin on a mound
I fixed my bayonet to my gun and really mowed them down
Now, its gone , gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to say
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
But Id do anything if I could do it all again

Time Flies

As yet untouched by passing years.
Her lustrous hair as black as night
the maiden’s smile is a delight.
As yet untouched by passing years.

Without a doubt she soon will wed.
Such beauty must attract a mate
A good excuse to celebrate.
Without a doubt she soon will wed.

Take on the duties of a wife.
In time she’ll bear a child or two
make all her girlish dreams come true.
Take on the duties of a wife.

In time all fledglings leave the nest.
Then he and she are left alone
amazed how fast the years have flown.
In time all fledglings leave the nest.

Her raven locks now streaked with white.
He sees her with a lovers eyes
and pays no heed for he is wise
Her raven locks now streaked with white.

The passing years have left their mark.
The love they share still strong and true
binds them together like strong glue.
The passing years have left their mark.

They are still happy and content
as much in love as when they wed
.When first they shared their marriage bed.
They are still happy and content.

What Are The Wages Of Labour Journey

My so-called friends you dawdle
Having in hands,
Khaiwat, Khasra, Latha and Gardawari,
Your Jareeb is not long enough to measure,
The length two farms which my father
Tilled walking and walking behind yokes of oxen,
Placing his hands on the handle of plough,
The same hands harder than stones.

Walking and walking behind yokes of oxen,
He measured more than half of the world,
But you would not sense gashing pain
Of his lacerated heels.
My mother too while bringing on the farms,
Lasi and bread, and carrying bundles of grass,
Got her feet worn out, got her neck twisted.

While measuring, totaling these two farms
The Jareeb of my and your breath would finish
But the labour-journey of my father
In ten vegas of land would not cease.

Khaiwat: A unit of land comprising on khatoonies, Khasras, smaller units.
Latha: A map of lands prepared by Revenue Department on white cotton cloth.
Jareeb: a measurement comprising on ten pieces of chains each is called Karam, and one Karam is equal to 5.5 feet.
Gardawari: Official record of ownership of lands prepared after four years.
Vega: A piece of land measuring four kanal.

Presentiment

WITH saintly grace and reverent tread
She walked among the graves with me;
Her every footfall seemed to be
A benediction on the dead.

The guardian spirit of the place
She seemed, and I some ghost forlorn,
Surprised by the untimely morn
She made with her resplendent face.

Moved by some waywardness of will,
Three paces from the path apart
She stepped and stood—my prescient heart
Was stricken with a passing chill.

My child-lore of the years agone
Remembering, I smiled and thought,
“Who shudders suddenly at naught,
His grave is being trod upon.”

But now I know that it was more
Than idle fancy. O, my sweet,
I did not know such little feet
Could make a buried heart so sore!

Power of Gold

I claim not to be a true lover,
For I would not fetch down galaxies,
The planets or the heavenly moon,
From the sky to lay at your feet,
Neither would I build a house,
Of shining gold nor glaring glass,
Nor die down into the icy river,
As despised, dejected lovers do.

Though I have fragile fragments,
Of the broken heart to scatter,
Under your feet to tread upon,
To greet you in front of my cottage,
Yet I know wealth and gold,
Would avert your face to light,
The palace across my dwelling,
Leaving behind darkness and pangs.

Darling, I Love You

A thousand stars in the sky
each one twinkling bright
just for you and me
on this wonderful night.

We’ll walk down leafy lanes
the way young lovers do
remembering all the star filled nights
we walked down lover’s lane.

Some said our love wouldn’t last
how wrong they were to
for here we are an old married couple
and I am still in love with you.

Our sunset is no closer
than it was all those years ago.
We both have each other
and I guess that’s just how love goes.

Some people play at love
for all that it is worth
and after a few years,
love has flown out the window there.

Others just tread softly
through the passing years
fulfilling each other needs
lovingly through each day.

With them love lingers
on and on forever
with the saying
darling, I love you.
