I now have two kids of my own in college, so I know how important it is that we keep the dream alive for every family and I share the concern about rising tuition costs.

The need for a college education is even more important now than it was before, but I think that the increased costs are a very severe obstacle to access. It is an American dream, and I think that one of our challenges is to find a way to make that available.
Family
(tom eyen/henrey kreiger)
Is it a beautiful day? youre beautiful!
I mentioned earlier that the world is watching each of you. you make me so proud Im the happiest woman in the world right now. I have a dream come true.
I want you to listen to me now. this is being televised again worldwide today. just calm yourselves, come on. alright.
Can you feel me?
Yes, this may be the most important moment in my life.
There are words in this song that to me are very special listen.
Its more than you
Its more than me
No matter what we are
We are a family
This dream is for us
This one can be real
They cant stop us now
Because of how we feel
Its more than you
Its more than me
Whatever dreams we have
Theyre for the family
Were not alone any more then
There are others there
And this dreams big enough
For all of us to share
So dont think youre going
Were not going anywhere
Were staying, taking our share
If you get afraid again
Ill be there
We are a family
Like a giant tree
Branching out towaards the sky
We are a family
And so much more
Than just you and i
We are a family
Like a giant tree
Growing strong
Growing wiser
We are
We are
A family
I love you

I Dream Myself Alive
(pal waaktaar)
Dream myself alive
I dream myself alive
But you cant deny
Theres something dark
Against the light
All I can say
It doesnt have to be this way
Well be chasing our tails madly
See days pass like wildfire
Right from the start
I knew this world would break my heart
I dream myself alive
Dream myself alive
I dream myself alive
Break my heart
And dream myself alive
What can it mean
Im drawing pictures of the sea
Right from the start
I knew this girl would break my heart
Dream my self alive
Dream my self alive
I dream my self alive
Dream my self alive
Dream my self alive
I dream my self alive

Instead, California is one of only 10 states that provides in-state college and university tuition to illegal immigrants. That's grossly unfair to a legal high school student who moves out of California for a year, then returns to attend college.

Joie De Vivre
We must know where our kids are at all the time
And protect them from danger
We must teach them not to talk to strangers
Joie de vivre
The kids are part of our family
We raise them from babies to adult
Sometimes we wish they would grow up fast
Sometimes we wish they never grew up
They do things that drive their parent crazy at times
Joie de vivre
It is important that they socialize with kids of their own age group
On the weekends it is time to get the family together
Dad’s drive there kids to soccer games
They cheer for there soccer team
When there soccer team wins it is a celebration
All the dad’s scream of joy
Dad’s are proud of there kids achievement

Keeping email alive in touch
Keeping email alive in touch
A day gone by without your mail
I seem to be a year for me
Today I read your mail
Is full with gladness and happiness
Family and friends
Getting in touch
From around the world
I dream of the day, when we meet
Or again
In real from around the world
I will tell you, how much I love you
My family and your Friendship
When we do we spend all day long
Talking of this
Miracle email alive
Only we can make this happen
Because we been waiting for this moment
For a long time
I been waiting to meet you all
Or again
I miss you all
And to be my true friends
That you donâ? ? t know yet
When we meet each other
You agree my family and friends
When I read your mail
From the most beautiful family and friends
I have with you all
It is so pleasant to understand
I want you to know

Teachers Challenge
It's time for the public to open up their eyes
Without the teachers how will our kids survive
What will happen to our children if they
don't have an education
They are the foundation of this great nation.
The teachers all had a dream and a goal
To teach the public young and old.
They had learned early in college
That they must gain daily knowledge.
Every day they challenge their minds
With new knowledge that they find
It does not matter what the topic may be
It all goes down into history.
They work hard at what they do
Teaching our kids and their kids too.
Teaching is not an easy task
not all kids learn that fast.
Then there are those with special needs
With which the teachers plant their seeds.
They are given a lot more patience
And a lot more care, so with them
The teachers do share.
Now is the time that money should be given
So that they can earn a decent living.

Students often approached me about state-paid tuition while I was out campaigning. After I explained to them that if the state pays their tuition now, they will pay higher taxes to pay other people's tuition for the rest of their lives, most of them ended up agreeing with me.

I like school very much, and I'll go to college if my career slows down. But kids go to college to be where I am today. Not to put college down, but for me, it would be digressing.
And having a strong family, you know we've lost some members of our family and had some setbacks, but I think a good family and kids all those things I thought at one time... you got to be kidding me... Those things are so important they enable you to go on.

The Highway of Exce$$
The Highway of Exce$$
I'm just another failure
on the Highway of excess.
My children disrespect me,
and my wife is unimpressed.
These days a hundred thou$and
doesn’t get you very far.
I'm wearing last year's wardrobe
and I drive a pre-owned car.
My son's friends drive Mercedes
that their Daddy's dollars bought.
I bought my son a Nano.
Its an Indian import.
Ive got two kids in College
with tuition payments due.
Each year their teachers revise texts
And make you buy them new.
I dread the thirteenth of each month
When charge card bills arrive
They follow up with phone calls
To make sure I'm still alive.
I stimulate the economy
With cash I don't possess
I'm like Barrack Obama
On the highway of excess.

I Am A Dreamer!
I dream of life
each and every day how it could be better
If things were this or that way
I dream of happiness
Hope it comes to each giving them
reason to live and peace
I dream of love
Something I know so well
In my heart it's there as wonderful
As a breath of fresh air
I dream of peace and harmony
Friendships and family of all the
Joys they share
I dream of goodness
To fill the land, for great crops to
Give to feed each needy hand
I dream even when reality is
So hard to bear
I dream with great dreams to share
I Am A Dreamer!

The Dream Is Still Alive
Not so long ago we were so in phase
You and I could never forget the days
But then the fire seemed to flicker
Cold wind came and it carried us away
But well get back someday, baby
The dream is still alive
Look here in my eyes
Can you see what Im feeling?
The dream is still alive
The one of you and i
And my heartache is healing
I couldnt let it die
No I knew it would survive
The dream is still alive
Not so long ago in a purple haze
People dreamed out loud they were not afraid
They stopped the war but not the dying
Some got a little bit lost along the way
But somehow were here today
And we say
The dream is still alive
After all this time
The flame keeps on burning
The dream is still alive
The one of you and i
And my heartache is healing
I couldnt let it die
No I knew it would survive
The dream is, the dream is still alive
Oh yeah..
The dream is still alive
Look here in my eyes
Can you see what Im feeling
The dream is still alive
The one of you and i
And my heartache is healing
I couldnt let it die
For all the times we tried
The dream is still alive

If You Can Dream
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For a good family
Who can stay with us
In our peaceful home.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For a sweet song
Which fills in every one’s heart
The joy to share with people.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For the innocent creatures
They can get their world
To play in a melodious tune.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For the flowers
Which can spread all the hues
In poor’s eye.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For quiet moments
In which everybody can live
Peacefully to weave
A kind of bond among us.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For doing all the good deeds
Through which you can
Get the perfect rest.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For believing in maker
Who is holding our hand
In each and every moment.
If you can dream,
Why don’t you dream
For sacrificing your life
For those whose eyes
Searching you for help.

The best math lesson we can teach college students this year is to subtract a tuition increase and benefit from the dividends of higher education.
Local companies don't have to internalize their costs, and few actually do, but they tend to more often because the owners live there and they have to show their face in town, and their kids play with other kids.

Im Alive
(myles goodwyn)
Published by goody two tunes, inc. - bmi
I like to rock and I like to roll
I like the blues if its got some soul
I take my lovin any way you can
So if you got the time, honey Im your man
Cause Im alive, Im alive, Im alive
Ive learned to coped with the crap and jive
Remember boy, just to stay alive
Only the strong survive
Only the strong survive, and Im alive, yeah
I got no reasons for slowin down
I like to move, and Im glory bound
The silent runner in the edge of night
So dont you stand in my way, unless you wanna fight
Cause Im alive, Im alive, Im alive
I left my family in 65
And they said boy, just to stay alive, yeah
Remember only the strong survive
Only the strong survive, keep your head up boy, ooh
Im alive (Im alive), Im alive (Im alive)
And I really feel like gettin it on
Im alive (Im alive), Im alive (Im alive)
I said Im ready and Im feelin alright, ooh
And Im gonna find some lovin tonight, some good good love
And Im lookin at you, I know what I wanna do, yeah
Something I can get into
Im alive, Im alive, Im alive
I left my family in 65
And they said boy, just to stay alive, yeah
Remember only the strong survive, they said
Im alive, Im alive, Im alive (Im alive)
I can cope with all that crap and all that jive, baby (Im alive)
Im alive, Im alive, Im alive (Im alive)
And it feels good, yeah
