David Hilbert

No other question has ever moved so profoundly the spirit of man; no other idea has so fruitfully stimulated his intellect; yet no other concept stands in greater need of clarification than that of the infinite.

Louis Pasteur

He who proclaims the existence of the Infinite, and none can avoid it — accumulates in that affirmation more of the supernatural than is to be found in all the miracles of all the religions; for the notion of the Infinite presents that double character that forces itself upon us and yet is incomprehensible. When this notion seizes upon our understanding we can but kneel ... I see everywhere the inevitable expression of the Infinite in the world; through it the supernatural is at the bottom of every heart. The idea of God is a form of the idea of the Infinite. As long as the mystery of the infinite weighs on human thought, temples will be erected for the worship of the Infinite, whether God is called Brahma, Allah, Jehovah, or Jesus; and on the pavement of these temples, men will be seen kneeling, prostrated, annihilated by the thought of the Infinite.

Victor Hugo

Nothing discernable to the eye of the spirit is more brilliant or obscure than man; nothing is more formidible, complex, mysterious, and infinite. There is a prospect greater than the sea, and it is the sky; there is a prospect greater than the sky, and it is the human soul.

The figure a poem makes. It begins in delight and ends in wisdom... in a clarification of life - not necessarily a great clarification, such as sects and cults are founded on, but in a momentary stay against confusion.

Seers with intellects

Intellect is behind a mission’s success.
Ideals it stands for matters the least.
One’s intellect sees it grow and branch.
Seers’ intellects not virtues make them great.

Question and answer

A question begets a question
Or an answer that begets questions.
Questions are infinite.
Answers are infinite.
Both alternate till man lives
Effect from cause conceives cause.

The One(s)

I am on a search
I keep trying to find
The One

Mysterious as it seems
A constant longing
Haunts my dreams

It's a man that I need
My heart assumes
But thankfully...my mind doesn't take heed

For it knows that what I possess
Is a greater sort
Of happiness

The kind that stays close
Despite time and circumstance
And is never opposed
To giving things another chance

Today flipping through pictures
And memories passed
I realized that what I want
Is right in my grasp

'The One'
Is a concept
Smudged and unclear

But the One(s)
That bring me the most joy
Are the people already here

My best friends
Will always be greater
Than some concept of a man
I am saving for later

They are the One(s)
I run to without hesitation
I've never doubted
I know they're with me for the duration

So here's my thanks and apologies
Brought to a sum
I've been searching for something I don't need
I already have The One(s)

Physical Poetry

The physics of poetry
is best explained in a mind experiment
in the construction of this very poem.

As I write the question becomes
what is the word-next and its origins?

Now what word-next can be
is a question of probabilities;
since if I choose rhyme as my scheme
and since the words which will rhyme are finite
and not infinite
the only question then becomes
which one of these will I choose.

Now if I choose a word-next outside
rhyming
then I risk not making poetic sense
since writing a gibberish word,
or one not related to the whole,
would be judged word-next nonsense.

Now we ask who or what in the brain
is making these two decisions
is it me or is it something mysterious;
is it drawing upon the past and memory
or from an instantaneous present
or even perhaps from my future?

Or is it just random choices I make
without even understanding them?

But suppose it is something we call
consciousness which exists
in the brain-cloud of cells which
can with millions of possibilities
produce a entirely new idea
which by definition
can come to exist
like language itself
and produce something never before said;
and now is being compiled in the brain
in this very instant and brought into existence.

That is humans have with language
the ability to create sentences
which have never before existed,
spoken or written because some languages have
enough words in them to make these permutations
near infinite and hence new ideas possible therewith.

Suppose the same is true of the human mind
and human senses make possible from this
this exercise we call
the idea.
So beyond the physical aspects of the brain
there must be a non-physical aspect we call
consciousness, the spiritual, or whatever
word we choose as its name.

Now the other half of the transaction
is even more amazing:

I just made up a new idea
never been expressed before
and can talk to you about it
and given enough clues
it becomes something you understand
and you yourself can write
a poem about.
This must be trans-consciousness
which is now a double miracle
nobody understands.

An Idea

An Idea can change the world, how many
things can be done from an idea, every piece
of object was an idea, sense the beginning of
time idea was the first thought created in the
mind, an idea is what surround’s every being.
But an idea is still only an idea and it can't be
felt, you cannot touch an idea or kiss it, or hold it,
ideas do not bleed or feel pain or love, an idea
cannot be seen or heard, its created in our thoughts,
but then again an idea can become real. An idea
can be what ever you which it to be, an idea can
be destructive, an idea can be brilliant, I've seen
people get killed in the name of ideas, ideas,
we walk around with a little
light bulb blinking in our thoughts, ideas.

Not Listening Effectively

Clarification!
I did not accuse you,
Of not listening.
Effectively.

However,
I do question...
You inability to use your ears,
For the purposes of hearing.

You may find that a doing so,
Will open your mind...
To comprehend with an understanding,
That to you which has been said.

But that would take,
A closing of your mouth.
To allow what has been spoken,
A giving of an opportunity to be heard first.

And IF that something said,
You already know?
There is nothing like the proving of it.
With action and not the servicing of lip.

God himself

He whom you can explicitly see is not God,
And he who was the strongest; without the most
minuscule form appearing even in flaming sunlight; was
not one of God’s infinite disciples; but God
himself....

He whom you can profoundly feel is not God,
And he who was entirely ungraspable; without even
leaving an untidy footprint after majestically
traversing on soil; was not one of God’s infinite
disciples; but God himself....

He whom you could magnificently create is not God,
And he who exists in an incomprehensibly fathomless
myriad of forms; was not one of God’s infinite
disciples; but God himself....

He whom you can profusely imagine is not God,
And he who remains perpetually obscure even after
floating in each particle of the exotic atmosphere;
was not one of God’s infinite disciples; but God
himself....

He whom you can vividly dream about is not God,
And he who propelled every brain to think beyond
corridors of the unbelievably extraordinary; was not
one of God’s infinite disciples; but God himself...

He whom you can coin your destiny with is not God,
And he who was maneuvering the lives of boundless at
the mere tip of his little finger; was not one of
God’s infinite disciples; but God himself.....

He whom you can cremate is not God,
And he who was immortally living; since unprecedented
centuries ago even before this earth was created; was
not one of God’s infinite disciples; but God
himself...

He whom you can admire is not God,
And he who was bestowing an everlasting labyrinth of
beauty every unfurling second; was not one of God’s
infinite disciples; but God himself...

He whom you can wholeheartedly cry for is not God,
And he who was incessantly replacing tears of all
mankind with omnipresent smiles; was not one of God’s
infinite disciples; but God himself......

He whom you can bid a celestial adieu is not God,
And he who was spawning countless for every entity
withering; was not one of God’s infinite disciples;
but God himself.....

He whom you can fabulously describe is not God,
And he was all Omniscient; having already embodied the
scriptures of holy tomorrow even before the world had
begun; was not one of God’s infinite disciples; but
God himself....

He whom you can devotedly chant till times beyond
eternity is not God,
And he who irrefutably steered every lip on this
globe; to propagate the essence of benevolent
existence; was not one of God’s infinite disciples;
but God himself....

He whom you can belligerently fight for is not God,
And he who evolved the most marvelously wonderful
species of creation called “Man”; was not one of God’s
infinite disciples; but God himself....

He whom you perpetually kept close to your chest was
not God,
And he who made every single heart throb for the
person it loved; was not one of God’s infinite
disciples; but God himself....

He whom you witnessed blossoming was not God,
And he who stood taller than the Sun; to illuminate
every miserably darkened cranny of trembling soil; was
not one of God’s infinite disciples; but God
himself.....

Ludwig Wittgenstein

Philosophy aims at the logical clarification of thoughts. Philosophy is not a body of doctrine but an activity. A philosophical work consists essentially of elucidations. Philosophy does not result in "philosophical propositions", but rather in the clarification of propositions. Without philosophy thoughts are, as it were, cloudy and indistinct: its task is to make them clear and to give them sharp boundaries.

Wonder

U Stands! U stands!
And I
And I
I wing
Spaceless timeless lost my way
U stands! U stands!
And
Raging bearishly shrieks myself
I
Bears my very self!
U!
U!
U binds time
U bends the circle
U souls the spirit
U gazes the look
U
Circles the whirled
The whorled
The world!
I
Circle the all
and u
and u
U
Stand
The
Wondrous
