Journalists are accused of being lapdogs when they don't ask the hard questions, but then accused of being rude when they do. Good thing we have tough hides.

Third Degree
(by eddie boyd and willie dixon)
Got me accused of peeping, I cant see a thing.
Got me accused of petting, I cant even raise my hand.
Bad luck, bad luck is killing me.
Well I just cant stand no more of this third degree.
Got me accused of murder, I aint harmed a man.
Got me accused of forgery, I cant even write my name.
Chorus
Got me accused of taxes, I aint got a dime.
Got me accused of children, and aint nary one of them was mine.

It is honourable to be accused by those who deserve to be accused.
Accused
You are accused of a crime and i am accused of your love,
But be very cautious of whatever you see on this earth;
For a woman is like the bee and you have to treat her well then,
She will make sweet honey for you.
To be loved and to be honoured with the right words,
Love is like the aphrodisiac of Turkey!
And with a wet morning with the muse of your passion,
For i want to know what turns you on.
Womb, bomb, tomb!
You either have the questions or you know the facts;
For you are eloquently noted with the kin of your muse and,
I really want to know what turns you on always in this life.

Accused Of Love
You speak to me in natural harmony
Like we both grew up with nothin
And I cant believe my own memory
But it one day could be coming
And I dont even know the wrong Ive done
And I dont even care anymore
All I know is I believe that you and me
Forever will stand accused of love
Watched the sun go down behind london town
I was burnt, stood up in mayfair
I caught a train, black car through the rain
From the trust that hung betrayed there
And I dont even know the wrong Ive done
And I dont even care anymore
All I know is I believe that you and me
Forever will stand accused of love
Well, the attorney grins, the witness is drug in
With his face half hid in shadow
Sworn to God and state the truth arrives too late
And defense goes out the window
And we dont even know the wrong weve done
And we dont even care anymore
All I know is I believe that you and me
Forever will stand accused of love
Will stand accused of love
Will stand accused of love

A slave boy is blamed no matter what he does: If he does not wash his hands, he is accused of being dirty. If he washes his hands, he is accused of wasting water.
Sticks And Stones
People talkin', tryin' to break us up
Why don't they let us be
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But talk don't bother me
(No) People talkin', tryin' to break us up
When they know that I love you so
So I don't care what the people might say
I'm never gonna let you go
I've been abused (I've been abused)
In my heart (I've been accused)
I've been accused (I've been accused)
I've been rebuked and I've been stomped
(Well) People talkin', tryin' to break us up
They're scandalizing my name
They'll say anything just to make me feel bad
They'll say anything to make me shamed
I've been abused (I've been abused)
In my heart (I've been accused)
I've been accused (I've been accused)
I've been rebuked and I've been stomped
(Well) People talkin', tryin' to break us up
They're scandalizing my name
They'll say anything just to make me feel bad
They'll say anything to make me shamed

Who is Responsible?
Who are responsible for corruption:
The people or the Government?
Both but the latter is the prime accused.
Who are responsible for adultery:
The cuckold or the spouse?
Both but the former is prime accused.

My Soul—accused me—And I quailed
753
My Soul—accused me—And I quailed—
As Tongue of Diamond had reviled
All else accused me—and I smiled—
My Soul—that Morning—was My friend—
Her favor—is the best Disdain
Toward Artifice of Time—or Men—
But Her Disdain—'twere lighter bear
A finger of Enamelled Fire—

Justice
Justice is seldom found on earth
Although we want it most!
If the victim is poor
And the accused is rich
There should be a handsome compensation.
If the victim is rich
And the accused is poor
There should be less compensation.
I prefer death sentence
To lifetime imprisonment
And any other penalty to fine
Since the criminal may repent
And become a very good person!
Therefore the lawmakers should rethink
In order to establish true justice
In all spheres of judgment.

Kept In Realities Deluded
We...
You and me.
They and others.
Are more the products of a yesterday.
A time that has gone away,
And does not exist.
Than we are affixed,
To a time existing today...
With no history yet,
Can be claimed attached to it.
And many are accused of living in the past.
Few, if any, are accused of living in the future.
And those that are...
Glowing bright as stars,
Seen...
But light years away from where we are,
Just might be...
In their own 'worlds'.
And it seems unfortunate,
That those in this one...
Are addicted to conflict and other drugs,
That keep them kept in realities deluded.

One thing I never want to be accused of is not working.
Your Last Line...It Does Not Rhyme
I've been accused of not giving.
When that is all I've ever done.
I've also been accused of not participating,
Although when I did...
None of that from the others would come.
From anyone!
Not even 'some'.
Now that I have chosen my time not to waste,
I've been told I am ungrateful...
And self centered,
Of late.
And my response to those who bait division...
Is that we all make decisions.
And I've made mine to break away from that madness.
'Your last line...
It does not rhyme.'
And I ain't trying to find reason for it, either.
When I eat cookies and leave not a crumb...
That means I'm done!
'Cool.
That line does rhyme.'
It makes me happy you have set your priorities.
So have I.

I will be in comfort and others in peace
Down under and deep inside me
There sits a judge with a hammer
Beside a big old wooden table
With a eye-folded statue and a
Tossing balance
No one around,
No attendant or clerk in front
Only the accused
In the stand meant
No witness, nor arguments
No lawyer for or against the accused
No mention of sections or provisions
Of any law or regulation
And the judge is ever ready for judging
And comes out to declare that
This is good and that is bad
Which law school he is from
In which law he is a specialist
I know not a thing,
But he is always judging
And makes me act on his judgments
Normally we address
“The learned judge”
I know how “learned”
The person judging
Sitting down under deep inside me
Most of his judgments and
Subsequent acts of mine
Made me regret
And put others in discomfort
I have a request to
My inside judge
“Oh, Noble but lowly learned judge
How nice will it be
If you stop judging'
I will be in comfort and
Others in peace

It is an honourable thing to be accused by those who are open to accusation.
In My Own World
Often I sit to wonder,
What does it all mean?
To have what it seems to be,
Explicit clarity.
And then be accused by others,
I am in my own world!
Oh...
So untrue.
IF this was 'truly' my own world...
So few I had invited to visit,
Would stay to exist.
If 'this' was my own world.
If this 'was' my own world,
Not many would walk around...
Disrespecting it as they wish.
And no one would sit with expectations.
That would not be an entitlement.
IF this 'was' my own world...
There'd be many more catering,
To the joys of others!
And the complaints I would hear,
Would be...
'How can we assist you,
To spread in your world more happiness.'
Often I sit to wonder,
What does it all mean?
To have what it seems to be,
Explicit clarity.
And then be accused by others,
I am in my own world!
Oh...
So untrue.

Scapegoat
Judges have decimated
Meanings of our laws
Already guilty?
Something has a flaw
Wrongly accused
Blindly confused
Open your eyes
Try to realize
Chorus:
Don't you know
You can't see
Too damn blind
To judge me!
Wrongly accused
Blindly confused
Open your eyes
Try to realize
Repeat Chorus
Laws are meant to follow
But they've misled you
Conceal their meaning
So they can suit you
Misjudged by the system
No one ever knows
Adding injury to insult
No one ever knows
No one
No one knows
No one
No one
No one knows...
Judges have decimated
Meanings of our laws
Already guilty?
Something has a flaw
Wrongly accused
Blindly confused
Open your eyes
Wake up
