We Complain

We complain
When in other countries people are in pain
We complain
And on the other side, conditions are inhumane
We complain
Many people want to ascertain

I don't eat cheese
While in other countries people die of disease
I don't want to clean my room
While many people starve just wanting food to consume
My mom just gave me 50 dollars and thats not enough
In different places people can't even pay for rent; life is tough

We complain
Many people, their life they can't sustain
Parents their kids they can't maintain
On Christmas people can't even buy a candy cane
People feeling like they're drowning in acid rain
And we complain

People out there who can't even afford to watch an ad campaign
People hiding on the streets because of shame
Because themselves are the ones to blame
Many things they detain
People out there who wish they were slain
People who wear the same clothes with the same little stain

People sleeping out in the rain
People who have given up and just start to cut their vein
When some people work and get their paycheck, they feel nothing they gain
Without insurance they gotta be careful because there's nothing they can sprain
Many people like in Africa have nothing to eat, not even a little grain...
And we complain

Payment

A tortuous path of neurons arced a call: ‘Awake! ’
I did; in rising, peering, stretching, bearing,
Pained anticipation saw it all:
Foretold, another filthy day.

I drew the drape: diluvian lay the ground
Beneath a lazy leaden cloud – apissing out
The puddles; irksome on the roof –
The drumming drops of bitter glee
Were hounding out a hapless me –
Reinforcing doubt that I am sound.

I left the house
to go to work
to earn a crust
without a perk
then on to bust
another straining vessel.

Trudging on thro’ mud and clay, I pondered:
‘Why a drought of happy times?
Auspicious climes were
Old and fusty books
Atop a dusty shelf
Inside a morgue-of-a-room,
Somewhere in a long-forgotten library
Down a lane without a way.’

I thought again: ‘And still I pay.’

Grease Paint And Monkey Brains

Oohh] Death is on the Midway,
Gambling with souls
Roulette on the wire,
Ace is in the hole
I sink beneath the feeling,
Moon is in my hands
A crooked wheel of Twenty-One - I just don't understand
NO!!! Laugh!!! - Yeah!! - Drown and Laugh!!
[Your life is over!!]
(there's a lot of people at work on it now.
It tried to run.
there's a lot of people at work on it now.
It tried to run.
If God is the dealer, why do we never win?
A bloody mix of silk and mud that starts all over again!
NO!!! Laugh!!! - Yeah!! - Drown and Laugh!!
[Your life is over!!]
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Clowns they scare the children
Roll around the ring
The animals, they wanna kill
Anyone - Anything!!
Laugh!!! - Yeah!! - Drown and Laugh!!
[Your life is over!!]
Laugh!!! - Yeah!! - Drown and Laugh!!
[Your life is over

Keeping Prizes

Prizes are for keeping and laughing,
Tricks contrived for the expert people.
The gears we gain involve life for strategy,
Going to the top is wild, innocent.

The letting of acts is an abundance,
Often we still complain of the back,
The roof the head is upon us with peace,
Let buildings like this body be a growth.

Chaotic brain

What am I thinking about?
What's the fucking sound out?
Lift upside down
She is come to pass

Work is hard
Work is not SEGA

'shut up boy! That's a good idear to chock your head! '

Or you shoot my head
Or you give me novocaine
That I can feel better that to breath the stink air

'am I standing right? '

I can't work it out
I can't work it out
Should I work it out?
I can't work it out
It's 0: 23 now, What's your idear?

'hey man, tell me the nearst bar.'

I am as I am

I think it doesn't sound strange

If I don't want to be changed

But... just to be as I am.

I often hear some people say:

You ought, you should, you must.

You should work hard

And do everything fast.

But...I am thankful to the Lord

And take it as a reward

To be as I am.

There are some people

Who want to meet me

They say they need me

But...most of them greet me

As I am not.

I do not blame anyone,

I do not complain,

But...there is something

I would like to remain:

To be as I am.

I can forgive,

But... would like to be forgiven.

I can believe,

But... would like to be believed.

I can love,

But... would like to be loved.

I can understand,

But... would like to be understood

At any state of my mood.

And...to be as I am.

Sounds that should not be missed

Sound of blossom of a flower,
I desire to hear,
the sound of nature.

Sound of rain's glassy water drop,
over a roof's top,
the sound of joy.

Sound of beat of our heart,
through our ears caught,
the sound of wonder.

Sound of delicious supper in boil,
after a great day's toil,
the sound of hunger.

Sound of a mother's loving ballad,
hearing the cry of her toddler,
the sound of love! ! !

Lap Of Luxury

I work all day and I work all night 4x
I work all day and I work all night
I work so my wife and kids will have a pleasant life
I work as many jobs as I can
Im proud to work I guess Im just a working man
-who am I to complain
I live in the lap of luxury
I got a car and a big tv thats so fine
I go to the pictures when I can
-the pictures take me to far-away lands
-almost makes me forget who I am
Sometimes at work Ive a fantasy
That Im a man who livesa life of mystery
(but) then the whistle brings me to
I cant forget why Im here, Ive got a job to do
-responsibility- is much more important to a man like me
I work all day and I work all night
I work all day and I work all night - etc. etc.
Guitar solo
I got a job at the factory
But I dont mind cause I know that the job is right for me
I dont complain Im satisfied
And I dont care to rub elbows with the wealthy
Theyve got their problems too, I dont envy them a bit dont ya know
Im doin what I want and it aint so bas
Ive got everything that a man could have
(Im) living in the lap of luxury - living in the lap of luxury
Work all day and I work all night
I work all day and I work all night etc. etc.

The Last Laugh

From the sailing to philadelphia album
Dont you love the sound
Of the last laugh, my friend
Dont you love the sound
Of the last laugh, at the end
Down in the gutter
With the mad old soldiers
Down in the scuppers
With the drunken sailors
Down in the gutter
With the mad old soldiers
But the last laugh, baby is yours
And dont you love the sound
Of the last laugh goin down
Games you thought youd learned
You neither lost nor won
The dreams have crashed and burned
You still keep on, keepin on
Out on the highway
With the road gang, workin
Up on a mountain
With a cold wind blowin
Out on the highway
Was a road band, workin
But the last laugh, baby is yours
And dont you love the sound
Of the last laugh, goin down
They had you cryin
And you came up smilin
They had you crawlin
And you came up flyin
They had you cryin
And you came up smilin
And the last laugh, baby is yours
And dont you love the sound
The last laugh goin down?
Well, dont you love the sound
Of the last laugh, goin down

Why Do They Complain?

Why do lonely people complain?
Do they want others to solve
The problem
They most likely created
By themselves
For themselves?

Why do lonely people complain?
Don't they know
Most people are afraid?
And those that aren't afraid,
Cannot help them?

Why do lonely people complain,
When the way
To break the hold
That loneliness has on them
Is through action?

Keep It In Your Head

What makes you think you can go far,
Sitting, drinking at a bar?
Huh?

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Have an appetite,
Like it's the best bite 'ever'.

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Eeenie Meenie minus that,
Which got you on the dance floor.

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Close off from temptation,
And focus on what's wanted more.

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Eeenie Meenie minus that,
Which got you on the dance floor.

You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to,
Work on it.
You've got to...
Eeenie Meenie minus that,
Which got you on the dance floor.

You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.
You've got to...
Keep it in your head.

Fundamental of Liar Chapter XXII: Laugh

there's laugh, forced laugh
laugh, gentle rejection without word
laugh, looking sympathy with laugh
laugh but actually doesn't laugh
hiding anger, hiding pain
cheerful laugh but alone inside
why you try hard to impress people?
tired and wounded more
laughing your foolish joke
and crying life in the dark room
laugh for yourself
laugh with your heart
and you'll never regret to try an honest laugh

Up On The Roof

(gerry goffin / carole king)
When this old world starts getting me down
And people are much too much for me face
I climb way up to the top of the stairs
And all my cares just fade right into space
On the roof
Its peaceful as can be
And there the world below
Cant bother me
Keep a-telling you
Right slap, dab in the middle of town
Ive found a paradise thats trouble-free
Yes, I have now
When this world starts getting you down
Theres room enough for two
Up on the roof
Up on the roof
Everything is all right
Up on the roof
Oh, come on baby
Up on the roof
Oh, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Up on the roof

A Cat's Tale...

it comes back again
i have shooed it away yesterday
it walks on top of the roof
silently it sits there
at noon,

it stares at passersby
when i return from work
it is still there
waiting

i do not know where it comes from
and i do not like it
it is white and does not make any sound at all
i shooed it away still
and has no plan feeding it

there is something disturbing
not about this insistent cat
it's this struggle within, the storms that people do not see
perhaps, this cat
and i will still drive it away

The Struggle

The struggle.
Just to keep warm.
The back breaking work.
Just to keep a roof over my head.
The minimum wage slave.
Or get locked in a cage.
With choices so grim.
Sometimes one must think outside the box.

A trade illegal by any other means.
But when comes to necessities.
It goes right out the window.
With the knowledge and know how.
We would all do something of which we shouldn't be proud.
What the courts say isn't what you believe.
With money it can be bought, but your conscience can not.
Guilt never goes away, it just sits their an rots.
Becomes a poisonous apple inside you.

The struggle.
Just to keep warm.
The back breaking work.
Just to keep a roof over my head.
The minimum wage slave.
Or get locked in a cage.
With choices so grim.
Sometimes one must think outside the box.

Talents so few.
Desires dwindling.
The candle melts away.
Their is a time limit.
Have I reach it yet?
I just don't know.
How could one?
I have no crystal ball.
I have no magic cauldron.
I have no special recipe.
I'm no Einstein.
He believed time viewing was theoretically possible.
I believe of the past most certainly.
But of the future I just don't know.

The struggle.
Just to keep warm.
The back breaking work.
Just to keep a roof over my head.
The minimum wage slave.
Or get locked in a cage.
With choices so grim.
Sometimes one must think outside the box.

A dedication to every one in the world.
No matter rich or poor.
We are all human.
We all have needs.
Let not lust or ambition to succeed turn into greed.
Lets lift each other up when we need help.
Lets not abandon someone for something ugly such as indifference.
Be proud of the rarity of our existence.
Realize life is precious.
No number should ever put upon it.
And know that these decision we make determine the outcome of the entire world.
No matter how powerless you feel.
No matter futile it seems.
Know you can make a difference.

The struggle.
Just to keep warm.
The back breaking work.
Just to keep a roof over my head.
The minimum wage slave.
Or get locked in a cage.
With choices so grim.
Sometimes one must think outside the box.

Sound of war

Bum! Bum! Bum!
Sound of war
it's like the roaring of a lion
I the jungle.

Sound of war
It's like flash of the lightening
Sound of war
It make people lose their strength
Sound of war
It make people to run to and fro

Sound of war
Um...
Sound of war
make people hopeless
when there is hope
Sound of war is cruel
Because it make people shudder
It make people suffer, shudder shiver, cringe
And due before they die

Sound of war

Kitty

I work in the mornin, I work in the night
The men on the block, they just laugh at me
I work in the mornin, I work in the night
The men on the block, they just laugh at me
But when theyre wiping their silver spoons
Palming the men for some bread,
Ill be laughing
Way, way out of my head!
When my little kitty gets out,
Theres gonna be a party, a party no doubt
When my little kitty gets out
Theres gonna be a party
And if my mind isnt coming so fast
The men on the block say Im on the brink
And if my mind isnt coming so fast
And I aint so dumb as some people think
cause when theyre wiping their silver spoons
Palming the men for some bread
Ill be laughing, way way out of my head

Born To Win

Some people are born with spunk
And some with just lazy genes
Some people are blessed with grit
They understand what Work means.

But some people are born to complain
To blame everyone and everything.
To listen to them, what a pain!
They never get to the point of Trying.

If other people can achieve
A better life for themselves by trying
I wonder why some people believe
They were born to lose, yet go on living?

Army Of Me

Stand up
You've got to manage
I won't sympathize
Anymore

And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me

You're allright
There's nothing wrong
Self-sufficience please!
And get to work

And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me

You're on your own now
We won't save you
Your rescue-squad
Is too exhausted

And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
