I am obsessed with beauty. I want everything to be perfect, and of course it isn't. And that's a tough place to be because you're never satisfied.

Beauty Contest
Damsel in distress is quite submissive
Look how somber my vanity is
A feminine human creature
Superficial, seducing detour
Im going to the mall for the cookie cutter
The ugly duckling will always suffer
Contaminated standards, I try to fight it
I better get back on my diet
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Beauty contest
Howd my vanity get such a mess?
Beauty contest
Im obsessed
Reduce myself, I got the strict restrictions
Not sexy enough without the regulations
A melting point countdown the fading features
Born to blossom and bloom to perish
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Beauty contest
Oh, Ive got to get out of this mess
Beauty contest
Im obsessed
And Ive fallen, I cant help myself
Im feeling envious of all the rest
Youre bringing out the lemming in me
A victim of the cattle call disease
Not easy to be me
I feel swollen
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Beauty contest
Howd my vanity get such a mess?
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Beauty contest
Ive got to get out of this mess
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Obsessed with the beauty contest
Beauty contest
Howd my vanity get such a mess?
Caught up in the beauty contest
Caught up in the beauty contest
Caught up in the beauty contest
Caught up in the beauty contest
Caught up in the beauty contest
And I feel swollen
Howd my vanity get such a mess?
My vanitys a mess

Simple Mind
There’s simple girl
With simple mind
She wants perfect love
But she finds it’s hard
To get a perfect guy
With a perfect job
Has a perfect house
Keeps a perfect dog
In a perfect time
And a perfect place
For a perfect happily ever after
So she change little
Of her simple mind
She still wants perfect love
She knows it’s hard
To get a perfect guy
With a perfect job
Has a perfect house
Keeps a perfect dog
In a perfect time
And a perfect place
For a perfect happily ever after
But at least she quite satisfied
With her simple mind
She doesn’t have perfect love
But she finds it’s hard to leave him
That has a good smile
Gets a desirable job
Builds a little home
Keeps a cheering dog
In unexpected moment
And unforgettable place
For hopefully happily ever after

Am I obsessed with death?
Stroking a head of a snake
Feeling a tiger’s breath
Am I obsessed with death?
Am I obsessed with death?
Daydreaming while crossing a street
of life that I want to have
Am I obsessed with death?
Am I obsessed with death?
When shit start hitting fans
at results I will quietly laugh
Am I obsessed with death?
Am I obsessed with death?
Laying sick on a bed of death
I will cling to what I still have
I simply enjoy the life
Don’t care about death

I Aint Ever Satisfied
I love the things that scare most folks to death
But I aint ever satisfied
Ill stay till the end or till im gasping for breath
But I aint ever satisfied
No, I am never satisfied
I can pretty much come and go as I like
But I aint ever satisfied
Hey, with no bottom line its hard to know wrong from right
But I aint ever satisfied
Ill try anything once but than I do it to death
But I aint ever satisfied
I expect the worse but I hope for the best
Oh, I aint ever satisfied
No, I am never satisfied
No, no, no, no, I am never satisfied
Cantt get enough, no, of nothing
Ive got seven of everything and more in the till
But I aint ever satisfied
You think its dangerous stuff
It aint even a thrill
I aint ever satisfied
Oh, I am never
No, I am never
I dont know why I aint ever satisfied

You're Just Never Satisfied
If you love me. why do you hurt me
Come on baby. don't desert me
I was there when you were in trouble
Now you're fine but I guess you changed your mind
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
I don't mind it when you get angry
I'm not asking for you to beg me
All I want to do is remind you
How many times I put my ass on the line
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
You're just never satisfied
You don't care if I stuck with you
Covered for you, put up with you
'Cause all you wanna do
Is try your love with somebody new
Ooh
I've been wasting my time
'Cause you're never satisfied
God only know why I try to please you
You're just never satisfied
You're just never satisfied

People can get obsessed with romance, they can get obsessed with political paranoia, they can get obsessed with horror. It's isn't the fault of the subject matter that creates the obsession, I don't think.

What A Way To Wanna Be!
I dont wanna wear that
It only makes me look fat
Time to tone my thighs-- gotta lose another size, yeah!
What a way to wanna be
Exfoliate--look great!
Feel guilty bout what you ate
Youre buyin all the books--
To learn the latest looks, yeah
What a way to wanna be
We like to buy, we like to spend,
To keep up with the latest trend
But we dont get no satisfaction
Living like a slave to fashion
No more thinking for yourself,
Just get it off a shelf
[chorus:]
Oh--oh, why be perfect--no--oh,
Its not worth it
Dont be so obsessed--cmon give it a rest
This is not some contest--just do your best
cause no--oh bodys perfect!
What a way to wanna be
Moisturize, exercise, erase the
Rings around your eyes
Cover what you can,
Get a coppertone tan, yeah
What a way to wanna be!
Stabilize the mood youre in--
Youre back on diet food again
Bigger is the best, but only
In the chest, yeah!
What a way to wanna be
We like to buy, we like to spend,
To keep up with the latest trend
But we dont get no satisfaction
Living like a slave to fashion
No more thinking for yourself,
Just get it off a shelf
[repeat chorus]
Its so very--unnecessary
Yeah, how insane--to be so vain
Its so synthetic--i just dont get it
I dont get it, baby, yeah, yeah
Dont be so obsessed--cmon give it a rest
This is not some contest--just do your best
cause no--oh bodys perfect!
(ooooohhhhhh)
Oh, no--oh bodys perfect
No--oh, its not worth it
Dont be so obsessed
(no--oh bodys perfect)
This is not some contest
(no--oh bodys perfect)

Unsatisfied
(Original by The Replacements )
Look me in the eye
then, tell me that I'm satisfied
Was you satisfied?
Look me in the eye
then, tell me that I'm satisfied
Hey, are you satisfied?
And it goes so slowly on
Everything I've ever wanted
Tell me what's wrong
Look me in the eye
and tell me that I'm satisfied
Were you satisfied?
Look me in the eye
then, tell me I'm satisfied
And now are you satisfied?
Everything goes
Well, anything goes all of the time
Everything you dream of
is right in front of you
And every dream is a lie
Look me in the eye
And tell me that I'm satisfed
Look me in the eye
Unsatisfied
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so dissatisfied
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so unsatisfied
Well, I'm-a
I'm so, I'm so unsatisfied
I'm so dissatis,dissattis...
I'm so

Im Satisfied With You
You dont dress up in satin,
You dont wear diamond rings,
But Im satisfied with you.
You look just like an angel but you havent got wings,
But Im satisfied with you.
Id rather have you just the way that you are
Than change you for somebody new.
Maybe I could do better if I reached for a star,
But Im satisfied with you.
Youre not made out of candy
But youre as sweet as you can be
So Im satisfied with you.
I just cant see no reason why you bother with me,
But Im satisfied with you.
I often wonder if its all a mistake;
Its hard to believe that its true.
But if Im only dreaming, I sure dont want to wake,
cause Im satisfied with you.
Im satisfied with you.

Perfect Place (live)
Recession - a perfect fit,
Makes no difference where he sits,
Not since they cut the ties,
Put some sadness in his eye.
Promises - come and go,
Soak the sun in drifts of snow,
A qualified butt-collector,
Working for the private sector.
Hes seen them go,
Without a trace,
This could be it,
The perfect place.
They took the plans from up my sleeve,
By an architect, on new years eve,
There it goes, a new bronze tower,
Washed away with an april shower.
Hes seen them go,
Without a trace,
This could be it,
The perfect place.
But, when youve gone,
Im still here, the only one,
My eyes and my ears,
Will be here til Im gone;
And its still the perfect place,
To rest a tired and weary face,
And its still the perfect place,
To lose your soul with a trace.
A lived-in face, with a root,
Of matted hair, a smiling tooth,
A dirty hand, a pixies nose,
Scratches underneath his clothes.
Hes seen them go,
Without a trace,
This could be it,
The perfect place.
Hes seen them go,
Without a trace,
This must be it ...

Satisfied
I need some wisdom
I need some truth
I need some beauty
I need some proof
And in the meantime
I need a place to hide
If I had you babe I'd be satisfied
Went to the ocean
stood in the surf
I felt the water
I felt the earth
I head the angels
They couldnt be denied
If I had you babe
I'd be satisfied
Who's gonna beleive me
I'm a broken down dog
But I can still snarl with the best
The train is leavin
We can catch it if we run
We can leave it all behind
This utter emptiness
You are the reason
That I was born
You are the answer
I'm lookin for
All of the others
Just stood around and lied
If I had you babe
I'd be satisfied
Ooooh yeah
awwwh yeah

Perfect Part 2
I don’t need perfect cloth
I don’t need perfect hair
What I need is a confidence
I don’t need perfect score
I don’t need perfect job
What I need is a support
I don’t need perfect word
I don’t need perfect dream
What I need is a chance
I don’t need perfect agreement
I don’t need perfect control
What I need is a solution
I don’t need perfect holiday
I don’t need perfect memories
What I need is a peace of mind
I don’t need perfect home
I don’t need perfect family

I don’t need perfect love
I don’t need perfect life

Perfect Flower
growing out of the ground
digging deep and far
topped with beauty
emmitting the fragrance of love
brittle through the body
strong in the roots
but thats all that matters
for that keeps them going
shining its beauty
letting everyone see it
all the time
spreading its sweet smell
with everyone that comes in contact
making them happy
sorting through the flowers
searching for the only one
that can fill the hole
that he has dug
he sees it in his sight
the sweet aroma
the loving vibe
the joy it gives his heart
the beauty
the perfect flower
gently grasping it
choosing it for his taking
only a few faults show
but the beauty overshadows the faults
in his eyes nothing's better
noone could ever replace her
with this flower his hole is full
it's the perfect fit
giving this flower
radiating with its majestic beauty
to his one true love
the perfect flower to the perfect love
you're all i want
all I've ever dreamed of
and in this perfect flower
our love will live on

It is cruel, you know, that music should be so beautiful. It has the beauty of loneliness of pain: of strength and freedom. The beauty of disappointment and never-satisfied love. The cruel beauty of nature and everlasting beauty of monotony.

Poems On Beauty
Beauty is truth's smile
when she beholds her own face in a perfect mirror.
Beauty is in the ideal of perfect harmony
which is in the universal being;
truth the perfect comprehension of the universal mind.

We Dress In Human Attire
We dress in an attire so perfect,
That skin is perfect as perfect can read,
And the boundary I cross is beauty,
For beauty has an another author.
I live in sleep, in worry and too much tennis
Of thoughts, of gestures and skin.
The clothes I wear are even there for me,
Whereas he lived as a beggar like beauty.
One cannot find the country of ugliness,
In the safe region was a planet of murder,
When skins and dresses were red and brown
And the theft of an appearance and feeling was resented.
You have the essential quality of a human being,
For all time, your nation has complete control over you.
