There are minds so impatient of inferiority that their gratitude is a species of revenge, and they return benefits, not because recompense is a pleasure, but because obligation is a pain.

Anonymous Letter Left At The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier, Memorial Day 2010
Upon this day of poignant reflection, we are humbled by your sacrifice;
No measure of recompense doth any possess which may serve to satisfice-
Our very liberty hath been your precious gift-your dutiful life, its price-
Our humble gratitude is all we have, no manner of quittance would suffice!
Our Forefathers advented Liberty, yet your loss saw to its abiding;
Countless men and women still, much like you, cease its subsiding;
Your life of honor and duty, for country-this shall ne'er perish-
In our hearts and minds, upon this day and all others, we cherish
Every solitary liberate moment, which you have given and ensured;
The most selfless sacrifice-your safeguard guaranteed Liberty endured!
'I can not say and I will not say that he is dead - He is just away! ' **
You live still; Your dutiful life inspires men and women to this very day;
The obligation owed to you is immeasurable-words may ne'er convey
Our gratitude for your service and sacrifice-though we endeavor all we may!

Victims continue
Revenge is the means God punishes by.
Pleasure of revenge is God given bait.
Revenge removes hurt feelings, yet no good.
Revenge breeds revenge; victims continue.

Opposite displeasure
Success gives pleasure.
Conquest gives pleasure.
Revenge gives pleasure.
Hunting gives pleasure.
Coveting gives pleasure.
Mind; every pleasure
Gives equal and opposite
Displeasure to others.
In a way we act as sadists

Hurts Not The Cause
Preys get no revenge against predators.
They have no grudge, no jealousy for them.
Hurts and losses are not the causes
For revenge when outside the prey’s species.

I Am Quiet In Gratitude To God
I am quiet in gratitude to God
Saved again
Near tears in tears
Grateful to God
And trying within
To let the Gratitude be everything
And forget for a time
The fear that will return again-
Quiet in Gratitude to God
And wanting that Gratitude to be everything.

Inferiority
Inferiority
Experience which convince me
that I am not as good as the other
And consequently not to belong with them
if not best as they are
It seems a feeling of humiliation
especially if they make fan out of me
Such experience someone controls me
causes pain and delight in my misery
And these are common ‘jokes’
that leads me into my inferiority
However the fear was masked and heed inside
a withdrawal from my humanity
This feeling is not stranger in me
yet this is the cause of running away
Yet the far I am from me
the unprotected and vulnerable me-be
One way is to ‘project’
the feeling I thought of the other people
Another unhealthy way to handle
that I usually do to prejudice my inferiority
And it is clear humiliation
and nothing to do with humility
That is why the result from the acceptance
of my limitation is painful reality

Pain and pleasure
To avoid the pain,
Some forgo pleasure.
To embrace pleasure,
Some undergo the pain.
Eyes on pain,
Pleasure is not the pleasure.
Eyes on pleasure.
Pain is not the pain.

The truth is that we can learn to condition our minds, bodies, and emotions to link pain or pleasure to whatever we choose. By changing what we link pain and pleasure to, we will instantly change our behaviors.

Live until your dead
The ties that bind unwinding
The future needs reminding
That differences will always be
Yet pleasure and pain are the same to me
So broken on the inside, maybe the pain is what i need
Cutting on the outside, just to make sure i still bleed
With that pain comes the pleasure, that i am still alive
With that pleasure comes the pain, that my mind now needs to thrive
You live what you learn, someone very smart once said
So find some pleasure in your pain, and live until your dead.

Who is obligated?
Obligated to take care,
Obligated to spare,
Obligated to be awake,
Obligated to sacrifice,
Obligated to worry,
Obligated to keep smile,
Obligated for life,
Obligated for the name,
Obligated for giving birth,
Obligated for the initial,
Obligated with responsibilities.
What obligation do they have,
When they disown them?
What obligation do they have,
when they abandon them?
What obligation do they have,
when they torture them?
What obligation do they have,
when they walk over them?
What obligation do human have,
when they are alone?

Escapism
I agree with you that attachment brings misery.
Is not it that attachment brings joy too?
If you say the absence of pain is pleasure
Can I say the pain is well discounted by the pleasure?
Rational and instinctual
minds conflict with each other.

To take revenge is the greatest pleasure,
Hetero sex is the deepest pleasure.
If one found the same pleasure somewhere else,
He would be regarded as a great man.

Because one of the benefits of getting older, I guess-there are very few benefits, really - most of them are a pain in the butt. People depend on me more; they believe in me more, they think I'm good.

Empyrean Gifting
Each morning I awakened, in the tracks of my own tears;
My heart was broken that day and has been, for years!
God sent me an Angel, to allay my fragile heart's ache-
Assuring me, my life's return, no matter the time it may take!
Neither She, nor anyone else may know Her true affect,
Inspiring-since the moment of our live's timely intersect!
A puissant presence she possesses indeed, though, yet,
We have not made confluence, true, I am forever in Her debt!
She is the Empyrean gifting, by means of recompense
For years filled with pain-may this remain, all days hence!
I shall spend my life, entire, sharing with the world
My gleeful gratitude, for all the joy you have unfurled;
My beloved, not a day shall fleet, wherest you shall be nescient
Of all you have meant to me, since that wondrous day, prescient!

Guardians
(God bestowed intelligence to save not destroy)
We are guardians of our planet
Playing the role of God
Selecting which species survive
Polluting the atmosphere
Burning forests and laying waste
Speeding ever faster global warming.
We factory farm to stock our larders
Hunting endangered species to extinction
Breeding our population out of control
Insisting on culling other species
But Man is the only creature
Who wages war and kills for pleasure.

Who Benefits From A Not Getting Of It?
No one's here to endure pain or suffering.
No one can explain to what gain pain brings.
Who benefits from sacrificing love?
Who benefits from sacrificing joy?
Who benefits from,
A not getting of it?
Who benefits from,
A missing of this?
Who benefits from sacrificing love?
Who benefits from,
A not getting of it.
Who benefits from,
A missing of this.
Who benefits from sacrificing joy.
Who benefits from,
Not getting it.
Who benefits from,
A missing of this.
People,
Are not getting...
What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.
People,
Are not getting...
What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.
No one's here to endure pain or suffering.
No one can explain to what gain pain brings.
People,
Are not getting...
What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.
People,
Are not getting...
What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.
Who benefits from a not getting of it.
People,
Are not getting...
What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.

What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.
Who benefits from a not getting of it.
Who benefits from a not getting of it.

Are not getting...
What prophets are saying 'bout powers of love.
Who benefits from a not getting of it?

One More Kiss Dear
One more kiss, dear
One more sigh
Only this, dear
Its goodbye
For our love is such pain
And such pleasure
And Ill treasure till I die
So for now, dear
Aurevoir, madame
But Im how-dye, not farewell
For in time we may have a loves glory
Our love story to tell
Just as every autumn
Leaves fall from the tree
Tumble to the ground and die
So in the springtime
Like sweet memories
They will return as will i
Like the sun, dear
Upon high
Well return, dear
To the sky
And well banish the pain and the sorrow
Until tomorrow goodbye
One more kiss, dear
One more sigh
Only this, dear
Is goodbye
For our love is such passion
And such pleasure
And Ill treasure till I die
Like the sun, dear
Upon high
Well return, dear
To the sky
And well banish the pain and the sorrow
Until tomorrow goodbye
