My father and he had one of those English friendships which begin by avoiding intimacies and eventually eliminate speech altogether.

Human beings are born into this little span of life of which the best thing is its friendship and intimacies, and soon their places will know them no more, and yet they leave their friendships and intimacies with no cultivation, to grow as they will by the roadside, expecting them to "keep" by force of inertia.

Stealing Praise
When is the best time,
To eliminate associating with those...
Who have given others the impression,
Something you have given to them for years...
Has been deserving?
Do it when they begin to tell others,
With convincing arrogance...
They've done the best they could,
To accomodate 'your' wishes.
'Excuse me?
Say What? '
Say it again...
To let the belief of it sink in.
'Excuse me?
Say What? '
Eliminate your associations with people like this,
And others will begin to plainly see...
Just 'who' has been accomodating 'whom'.
And just who has been stealing praise,
In ways they have claimed to have been justified.

The most successful marriages, gay or straight, even if they begin in romantic love, often become friendships. It's the ones that become the friendships that last.

Human’s traits
Abundance will not eliminate begging.
Prosperity will not eliminate stealing.
Punishment will not eliminate killing
Availability will not eliminate adultery.
They are all traits we must live with.

Only You Know
Initiate.
Locate.
Eliminate.
Only you know from where,
Your headaches begin.
If there is a desire,
To have 'your' headaches end...
Requires effort.
Initiate with intent.
Locate the cause and reason.
Eliminate without hesitation,
Headaches allowed to begin...
With an ending of them.
And if you don't know?
You've got other issues involved,
To solve!
There is no need to start a campaign,
To complain about anyone causing you pain!
You have nothing to gain from it.

Wording is Accurate
Cauldron of broth is alive with speech of vapour,
Valour has a new notion of pleasure,
Altogether, and altogether clever,
Will simplicity speak solid?
When does the word behave worldly?
And when do you behave badly?
Why is the reason so round and ready?
I complain to customs and culture.

Collocation and intonation (popular poetry)
Imperialist hangover…
Father says
Who knows English
Is the best
I am fluent in English
But intonation is rubbish
So I leave the job
Of awkward commentary
I start to write
Though grammar is correct
Collocation comes in my way
I stop altogether composing
Awful documentary
Collocation and intonation
I send them both
To the burning station
When I become a poet
Coining of new epithets
Overused epithets
The wrinkle face
Cliché phrases
Wife of an old age
Coinage of new verbiage
The kiss of a teen age
Overflowing climax
Decorating the body
People say, wow! What poetry!

Friendships’ Yield
Friendships with the same genders
Produce in them confidence.
Friendships with opposite ones
Produce in them energy.
Hopes in them serve as a fuel.
Friendships last till hopes run out.

My father
I know my father
I have seen him.
I have not seen
My fathers father
I know him not
It does not mean.
My father was a holy man
And he always
Sued to tell
The race be begin.
What race I thought
I would ask
I had not the
courage to the task.
My father was a loving one
As told by my son
My father was not there
As he born.

Begin again
Infant...
Crying, needing, wanting, diaper changing
Playful, tearful, cooing, smiling
Then you grow
Things change
We begin again
Toddler....
Curious, adventurous, laughing, talking
Walking, needing, busy, whining
Then you grow
Things change
We begin again
Child....
Sports, schooling, friendships, sharing
Learning, listening, reading, caring
Then you grow
Things change
We begin again
Tween...
Sleepovers, boyfriends, conflicts, responsibility
Band, homework, joking, growing
Then you grow
Things change
We begin again
Teen....
Not quite there yet
Looking forward to the ride
Who ever, what ever I'll be by your side.
You may grow
Things will change
But I will always be here for when you need to begin again.

Much talking is the cause of danger. Silence is the means of avoiding misfortune. The talkative parrot is shut up in a cage. Other birds, without speech, fly freely about.

Father Of Night
Father of night, father of day,
Father, who taketh the darkness away,
Father, who teacheth the bird to fly,
Builder of rainbows up in the sky,
Father of loneliness and pain,
Father of love and father of rain.
Father of day, father of night,
Father of black, father of white,
Father, who build the mountain so high,
Who shapeth the cloud up in the sky,
Father of time, father of dreams,
Father, who turneth the rivers and streams.
Father of grain, father of wheat,
Father of cold and father of heat,
Father of air and father of trees,
Who dwells in our hearts and our memories,
Father of minutes, father of days,
Father of whom we most solemnly praise.

In Quiet Submission
My ambassador questing days are done!
Attempting to knit a quilt with benefits...
Does not best sit with everyone,
Warming as they do under one Sun!
Nor should I try to mend lost strands of chaos!
This mix will never blend.
There's too much fighting a weave they can transcend.
All that is rumored what peace could begin!
But this pattern appears too complexed,
For minds far perplexed to see...
How these pieces fit in to release,
And all could live troubled free!
'Father...
Don't be so hard on yourself!
Perhaps your tactics should be reintroduced,
With less serious content.
And more flair and pizzazz! '
I thought you came for prayer, My son?
In quiet submission? Do it! Quietly...
That means...no lip!
'I'm 'trying', Father!
But You are disturbing my concentration!
And I am being overwhelmed!
They'll get the message.
Eventually!
I did! '
Pray, My son!
And 'allow' ME to deliver YOUR tasks!

Art
Occasionally I feel like the walls around are closing in on me
Physically I feel sometimes I need seclusion to be free
The irony at last I see reality is my perception
And my personality is my reflection
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I need to be set free from the smiles that are scarring my skin sarcastically
And ?? seems to comfort and freeze in full around me mentally
The irony at last I see reality is my deception
And my personality is my deflection
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
Can I make it?
I'll try
Can I take it?
I'll try
I've finally healed my wounds and healing the next thing and pouring out of me
The precious success becoming apparently a bigger part of me
I'm looking back at the things I cant remove the past
Ok with me
The future is brighter than I could imagine it to beand#8230;
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today

There have been some friendships lost over this. That's the most difficult for me. I find it very uncomfortable to know that I was at one time close friends with someone, and because of jealousies and misunderstandings and so on, these friendships have dissolved.
