The wings are moved several times by hand to charge the crank chamber with mixture, which flows on through the external pipe and inlet valve to the compression space and cylinder.

Fuel Your Gratefulness With Thanks
Pick up your speed.
Don't be afraid to lead.
Crank.
It.
Up.
Crank it up!
You turned the key,
To keep you heat.
So crank it up!
Pour and sip champagne from your cup.
Crank.
It.
Up.
Don't slow your roll.
Crank it up...
When you get on the road.
Don't get into a situation,
To see your ambitions curbed...
Blocked, Locked and stopped.
And eventually towed.
Crank it up!
Fill up your tank.
Fuel your gratefulness with thanks.
Crank.
You turned the key,
To keep you heat.
Pick up your speed.
Don't be afraid to lead.
Crank.
It.
Up.
And go!

How I wish I go back to that safe, harmless dark fluid pool
I was far beneath
In a fluid pool
In the company of
Harmless friends
All looking alike
Though dark
It was safe for me
And my friends
With a lot of freedom
To swim around
Playing hide and seek
Suddenly penetrated
A large dia pipe
Into our rocky cave
With a deafening sound
And I was sucked into
With many of my friends
Being taken up against gravity
Only to come up onto the
Earth's surface
We all fell into a container
Only to be cocked
And again we were in dark
With much little space
To move around and play
We felt we were always
On the move
Only to be later
Heated and separated
Into different components
Now I was able to see
That all friends were
Just similar
We were still moving
At times in a pipe
Or in a container
And at last we reached
A pool, which appeared
To have breather
Helping us to air
Our exhaustion
One day I found myself
Moving up in a smaller pipe
And we were filling a
Very small metallic tank
With a very limited space
And it was hardly
Possible for us to breathe
After sometime I was drawn
Into the thin tube
And I was in a hot chamber
Where we were just burnt
And we expanded suddenly
Pushing a piston back
I saw myself in totally different company
All my earlier associates gone
And when the piston moved towards us
We knocked out in the open
Through a pipe with a thud
Along with a number of
Foul smelling dark guys
Whom I have not seen before
I am in the association
Two similar looking allies
Who always tease me
Making fun of my smaller size
Nagging me
Moving round and round me
I am now air borne
Finding it difficult
To manage these naughty neighbours
As I am looking for a separation
From these two friends
I hear a slogan
'Kick the CO2 habit'
This may help some of my
Friends down there
Continue to stay where they are
And
How I wish I go back to that
Safe, harmless, dark fluid pool

The Dying Chauffeur
Adam Lindsay Gordon
Wheel me gently to the garage, since my car and I must part--
No more for me the records and the run.
That cursed left-hand cylinder the doctors call my heart
Is pinking past redemption -- I am done!
They'll never strike a mixture that'll help me pull my load.
My gears are stripped--I cannot set my brakes.
I am entered for the finals down the timeless untimed Road
To the Maker of the makers of all makes!

I am not I am
I am not I am
As space is not space.
If the space is not space
why the water flows
why the flowers show face!
I have all the answers.
Im dutybound to ponders
over questions that
are not ours that
are time pass.
Only a blindman is there
Only a deafman is there
Only a man is there
who has no leg no hand
And he is in the hollow
whom I swallowed.

(Life Poem/Short Story) A Really Bad Day
I go to work only not to work.
Chippers broke.
And it has my boss stoked.
A really bad day.
I help fix the equipment.
Knowing I will not get paid.
So I get on with it without delay
A really bad day.
I come home to show my boss my new program installed.
And when I show him how to use it.
Coffee gets spilled all over, my keyboard, mouse and his bibs.
A really bad day.
I dry my things off.
Plug them back in and turn my computer back on.
The mouse no longer works.
A really bad day.
I take it apart clean the circuit board off.
I put it back together and plug it in.
It still does not work.
A really bad day.
My boss start beating it.
Thinking that will make it work.
I tell him no but still he continues to do so.
A really bad day.
Finally he gives up and is ready to go.
I tell him wait little bit while I take shower.
As I go get my cloth a pipe breaks.
A really bad day.
Hot water gushes everywhere in the laundry room.
I run outside dig in the snow to find the valve to shut it off.
Now my hands are cold.
A really bad day.
So now I go get the parts I need.
No going out drinking tonight indeed.
Both a shut off valve and a washing machine connection piece.
A really bad day.
I cut the pipe put on the valve.
Only to realize it is defective and doesn't work.
Next I put on the connection piece only to find out it leaks.
A really bad day.
And when I think it cant get any worse.
I have go out and split wood and the snow is a blowing.
My gloves can't grip the axe it slips and hits my foot with a whack.
A really bad day.
Thank god for steel toes.
So I take off my gloves and do it that way.
And again my hands are cold so all I have to say.
Is it's a really bad day.
Finally I come in and take another look at my mouse.
I finally fixed it.
Only to realize it is time to go to bed.
A Really Bad Day.

Condensing Space
the universe is a garden
of gems, stars and planets
and a mental wonderland
if you love arithematics, theories
of compression and relativity
every place in space is just a few minutes away
as close as your own bedroom and the garden
there is space and they are meant for fun
and should be the least of any body's problem
they are pleasure to the space condenser
the three trillion trillion miles
well, they can be condensed into two three miles
remember the six inch of your mind
well it has in it all the space you would ever traverse
just cflose your eyes and see
the energies all over space can be harnessed
or deharnessed? ? ? to condense space,
so that you need just one minute to go to the
furthest reach of space
just close your eyes and there you would see
all the distance of the universes
condensed in a little box on your top
one day it will be as simple as that

Crank It Up
I've got to crank it up,
Just another notch.
To face those challenges inside,
That never stop.
There is so much in me I want to share,
And dare to uncover
To another to be shown.
If I didn't do this it will never be known.
I've got to,
Crank it up.
Just another notch to show just what I've got.
If I stopped believing in myself,
Who would know
I could do,
A doing I could prove.
I've got to,
Crank it up.
Just another notch to show just what I've got.
If I stopped believing in myself,
Who would know
I could do,
A doing I could prove.
Crank it up.
The faith I keep tells me I've got it.
Crank it up.
Sometimes I doubt myself about it.
Crank it up.
I push aside inside denial
Hoping that excuses wont seduce me to refuse.
Crank it up.
The faith I keep tells me I've got it.
Crank it up.
Sometimes I doubt myself about it.
Crank it up.
I push aside inside denial
Hoping that excuses wont seduce me to refuse.
I've got to crank it up,

Zero As A Limit
Take the lovebird
Kiss the stranger
Leave the trailer
Take the car
Feel the sound rushing over you
Qed
See my finger
The way it points you
Follow blindly
Into the road
Feel the sound rushing over you
Qed
See the stranger
Getting nearer
Iron teardrop
Collision course
Feel the sound rushing over you
Qed
See the blood now
Overflowing
No more compression
Compression done
Feel the sound rushing over you
Qed
I saw it happen
You saw it happen
We saw it happen
It can't be true
The stranger crashing into you
I saw it happen
You saw it happen
We saw it happen
It can't be true
(repeat four times) the stranger crashing into you
(repeat ten times) into you

Music Goes round & Around
I blow thru here
The music goes round and around
Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho
And it comes out here
I push the first valve down
The music goes down and around
Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho
And it comes out here
I push the middle valve down
The music goes down around below
Below, below, deedle-dee-ho-ho-ho
Listen to the jazz come out
I push the other valve down
The music goes round and around
Whoa-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho
And it comes out here

The Three Cylinder Car That could
What Is A Car
Is It Friend Or Foe?
Depends How It Runs
How Fast It Can Go.
Up And Down The Mountain
Passing Sports Cars And Sedans
It’s Just A Three Cylinder
But, Burns Rubber On Command.
Love And Hate Relationships
Between Owners And Their Cars
One Day They Run Well
The Next, Can’t Burn Tar.
One Thing I Have
Fancy Car Drivers Yearn For
Is The Title I Hold
For My Three Cylinder Car.

If I Were in Charge of the World (my version)
If I Were in Charge of the World
I’d cancel Brussels’s Sprouts,
School nights, grape medicine, and also spiders.
If I were in charge of the world,
There’d be more domestic animals,
Longer days, and open space to have more room.
If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn’t have sadness,
You wouldn’t have bedtimes,
Or “eat your vegetables, ”
You wouldn’t even have vegetables.
If I were in charge of the world,
A chocolate cake would be served everyday.
All videogames would be “E for everyone.”
And a person who plays Guitar Hero 3,
And sometimes swats at a bumblebee,
Would still be allowed to be in charge of the world!

Knock Three Times
Hey,girl
What are you doing down there?
Dancing alone every night
While I live right above you.
I can hear your music playing,
I can fell your body swaying,
One floor below me,
You don't even know me,
I love you.
Oh,darling, knock three times on the ceiling if you want me
Twice on the pipe if the answer is no.
Oh,my sweetness,(knock)means you'll meet me in the hallway,
Twice on the pipe means you ain't gonna show.
If you look out your window tonight,
Pull in the string with the note
That's attached to my heart,
Read how many times I saw you,
How in my silence I adore you,
And only in my dreams
Did that wall between us come apart.
Oh,darling, knock three times on the ceiling if you want me
Twice on the pipe if the answer is no.
Oh,my sweetness,(knock)means you'll meet me in the hallway,
Twice on the pipe means you ain't gonna show.

The wind of life
Everything has been taken down
everyone has up and left
gone, like the wind, taking leaves to another place
not necessarily better, but not the same as before
it's like the wind, an external force, is changing
all the leaves know against there own will
two paths to take, the choice at hand
embrace transition or live in your
memories, beautiful, so beautiful
memories, the times of your life
but memories, like a flytrap, like a cobra
lie in wait, appearance oh so memorizing
retreat to them, your memories, and you'll be eaten alive
by the shifting times, the wind
the external force causing constant change
but like a house, built on stone
my love for you will never fall
never bend, no never break
the wind will never move that house
so let the wind have its way
blow me away, blow you away
one thing remains, oh it will never change

Winged
a butterfly
landed
on the lawn
in front of me
fluttering poorly
several times
folding
most beautiful wings
reached out
with my hand
so he or she
could land
felt
that softest touch
saw
as nearby
as never before
that butterfly
showing
those magnificent wings
a few times more
until
folded together
for the last time
feeling speechless
impressed
blessed
with the gift
of sharing those last moments
of a butterfly
now flying
on eternal wings

the Golden Horn Of Istanbul
THE ‘GOLDEN HORN’ OF
ISTANBUL
It is an inlet arm from the Bosphoros Strait,
Which stretches inwards towards the west;
And curves up like a deer’s horn, -
Known to the world as the ‘Golden Horn’!
It separates the old Istanbul’s historic city,
From its modern counterpart in the north;
Forming the world’s longest natural harbor,
A waterway almost 7.5 km long!
The harbor was once the Naval Headquarters
of the Byzantine Empire!
When a heavy chain guarded the inlet’s
entrance;
Stretching across the mouth of the ‘Horn’ entire;
From the Old City to the Galata Tower! *
The old city stands on seven hillocks, once
known as the ‘City of Seven Hills’;
And top of every rise, a temple, or a mosque
or a monument is seen, -
With its steeples, towers and minarets, the city
stands solemnly still!
Each building here has a story to tell;
In 1453 to the Ottoman Turks the city fell!
As I stood ruminating on one such high rise,
And saw the sun going down in the west;
The inlet waters appeared bathed in gold,
Glittering in the sun’s setting rays!
And at that moment I realized, as I looked at
the inlet nice and long,
How aptly it has been named, as the inlet of
‘The Golden Horn’!
-Raj Nandy
New Delhi

(*Galata Tower is located at the entrance of
the inlet- in the northern half of the city.
‘The Golden Horn’ waterway divides the
city of Istanbul into northern & southern
halves!)

Chamber
I sit on the cold chamber floor and think, I think about how things should have been and how they turned out to be
I sit on the cold chamber floor and I remember when it was just you and me, I remember all the times we shared and how nothing could compare to the way you made me feel
I sit on the cold chamber floor and I try, I try to forget all the pain that I feel
I lay on the cold chamber floor and I wait, I wait for death to come and take me away

Eight Cylinder Wings (Ethere)
You
bent down,
leaned into
the car and kissed
my trembling lips.
'Just in case you had doubts, '
you said; and I couldn't breathe.
I watched you walk back to your car,
a gray bird with eight cylinder wings;
and I revved up my engine to follow.
