Mansion
My husband
Sees those
Big mansion
Houses
And dreams
Of earning
Money
To buy
One of them.
I tell him,
The owners
Of those
Big mansion
Houses
Are so busy
Earning
Money,
They don't have
Time -
To live in them.

Speaking Terms
I apologize if my actions yesterday,
Seemed a bit petty.
I have been stressed lately.
And took that out on you.
I'm sorry.
I hope we will still be on speaking terms.
'No problem.
None at all.
You have proven...
To have more experience,
In that area than I do.
And when I witnessed that...
I learned to leave you alone.
I have forgiven AND forgotten.
And I did that within seconds.
Sure...
We can be on speaking terms.
I can do the 'hi' and you can do the 'bye'.
And on our good days...
We can switch that around!
How's that?
You want to practice it now? '

Isn't Money Funny?
Money, money, money
Isn’t it funny?
Some crave for a penny
Some own crores many
When I was younger
I would believe indeed
That money is not all
That we need
But we grow up
And so we learn
That we earn to live
And live to earn
Food, clothing and shelter
Is not everything we require
These things even
A beggar does acquire
I thought all we need
Is love and friends
And our search
For happiness there ends
But in this world
Nothing comes for free
To win these too
Money holds the key
Money the only god,
Earning the only prayer
Spending the only religion,
It’s the only thing we care.

A pious man
A pious man had gone to Burma
From where he came as a destitute,
Ran a petty shop on borrowed money,
Made to marry in late thirties to go
bankrupt,
Bore two sons and a daughter
From his equally poor but virulent
wife,
Became invalid in money and mind,
Lost his wife to his brother in celibacy,
Added one more daughter from him,
Lost the second son in electric shock,
Wandered and laboured for food,
Reaped every kind of humiliation,
And then died, later to be followed
By his wife, leaving the children
To be grown by the remaining father,
Who too died with children spreading
Under different shelters to live
And get married.
I shed my tears thinking that pious man,
Who gave me sweets when I was
Twelve, who begged of me with his Eyes
For money when I started earning.

The Rich and the Poor
The rich are not the poor, forming laziness
In the ranks of the workers.
A smile appears on the earners of money,
The art of effects is learnt,
Hearing will combine with seeing
As names are being named.
They sicken and injure the children
Often.
This is riches, this is not poverty,
For we injure and smash the very people begotten.
We as the confident people of hard earning
Learn of the heads.
They smash our heads like savage masters
As if we are slaves, slavery works.
I want a gift for my children
But others want themselves to be fed.
Why not die and let the children live?

What Is The Value Of Money?
Money we all know is a medium of exchange
Buyers and sellers relate to each other through money
The question here is – what is the value of money?
Few say money is the root of all evil
Many say money is the root of prosperity
And how valuable is money
Almost everything is measured by money
People go to work everyday because of money
Wealth of individuals is measured by money
All purchases and transactions are made by money
Every country has a name for its own money
The importance of some countries
In based on the value of their money
What is the value of money?
The rise and fall of foreign exchange
Is used to measure the value of money
Success to many is also measured by money
Corporate positions are measured by money
There are some people who marry for money
What is the value of money?
To many, money is everything
You cannot get many things done without money
Many have pondered and contemplated to ask
Can human beings live without money?
Then, how shall we determine and decide
The prices of individuals and materials
Differences between the rich and the poor
Are calculated in monetary terms
The power bestowed by money
Seems bigger than imagined

Timebomb
If God would be a liar
He would be just like us
We think he knows of madness
Who says hes got to be real
We cant wait another day
Where do we go from here
A sin is not the only way
But thats how it seems to be
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
The world is spitting fire
On sun and moon and stars
It cant be our desire
Writing the rules on the wall
We cant wait another day
Where do we go from here
A sin is not the only way
But thats how it seems to be
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We cant wait another day
Where do we go from here
A sin is not the only way
But thats how it seems to be
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines
We are timebombs- cold killing machines

So You Tell Me
so you will tell me
God so loved us but he is no longer in speaking terms with us
for we have offended him since the time of Moses.
so you will tell me that all i have to see is the grass,
the beautiful flowers along my way, the blue clouds,
the sun that rises without failing, the moon that comes out without trying,
the rivers flowing, the sea constantly giving us the waves,
the fish and fruits and animals and
money and things and work and house
all these through these and by all these
God is speaking.
must i disagree, i know, you will not hesitate to crucify me,
and put me into damnation, as this heretic to be burned in electrical stakes.
i don't know. who ever killed God? can man kill God? I don't know.
into softer things, into higher things, into the cool shades of heaven.
into the comforts of belief, into the fold of faith.
where do i leap from here? Speak to me my God, i have big ears.

The Old Bloke With Heaps Of Money
The old bloke with heaps of money was buried yesterday
Yet for his funeral services and his burial the town charities will pay
For all the money that he had by him hidden away
At least a couple of million so those who knew him say.
He never fathered children he never had a wife
Earning money and hiding it was his great joy in life
He did not trust the banks at all so his millions he did hide
And of where his hidden fortune is the secret with him died.
He lived in a one bedrooom basement apartment he paid the cheapest rent
And he saved as much as he could save he never wasted a cent
In his very early seventies he died quite suddenly
The millionaire in money who died in poverty.
The old bloke with heaps of money was the meanest one in town
To be the town's greatest miser was his claim to renown
None ever sang his praises since praise he was not due
And where he hid his millions not one does have a clue.

Money To Burn
(coverdale/hardin/fenwick)
Well the world just keeps on turning
And people keep on learning
Its crazy to be earning
All the money that youre burning
But if you fool yourself
An think youre really strong
Someone gonna see you
Show you that youre wrong..
Cos you cant take it with you
If you got money to burn
Someone gonna get you
If youve got money to burn...
Riding in your roller
Oh, think youre pretty cool
But the big mans got your number
And hes just playing you for a fool
Cant take it with you
Your money to burn
Im gonna give you
For your money to burn
Dont wanna be learn
When Im going down
When Im getting .. for it
I aint hanging round
For aint no dollar
Aint gonna turn
But I dont want money,
Aint want no money
Money to burn
Money to burn
Money, money...

If You are a Man
If you are a man, and believe in the destiny of mankind
then say to yourself: we will cease to care
about property and money and mechanical devices,
and open our consciousness to the deep, mysterious life
that we are now cut off from.
The machine shall be abolished from the earth again;
it is a mistake that mankind has made;
money shall cease to be, and property shall cease to perplex
and we will find the way to immediate contact with life
and with one another.
To know the moon as we have never known
yet she is knowable.
To know a man as we have never known
a man, as never yet a man was knowable, yet still shall be.
