As long as there are only 3 to 4 people on the floor, the country is in good hands. It's only when you have 50 to 60 in the Senate that you want to be concerned.

Our Country
Their country treated them well,
Like an animal is kept a good pet.
Forms of employment missed us and wedded us,
Concern for the violent debt whets our appetite.
We see more landings of aircraft than anyone,
Because we are near an airport.
Five planes have concerned us most,
The very ones near our home just an hour ago.
We saw flight like that of birds;
Birds are beautiful, and so are we,
But do we see the air planes and their noise more often?
Our country is concerned with us
And other countries.

The Good, Old-Fashioned People
When we hear Uncle Sidney tell
About the long-ago
An' old, old friends he loved so well
When _he_ was young--My-oh!--
Us childern all wish _we'd 'a'_ bin
A-livin' then with Uncle,--so
We could a-kindo' happened in
On them old friends he used to know!--
The good, old-fashioned people--
The hale, hard-working people--
The kindly country people
'At Uncle used to know!
They was God's people, Uncle says,
An' gloried in His name,
An' worked, without no selfishness,
An' loved their neighbers same
As they was kin: An' when they biled
Their tree-molasses, in the Spring,
Er butchered in the Fall, they smiled
An' sheered with all jist ever'thing!--
The good, old-fashioned people--
The hale, hard-working people--
The kindly country people
'At Uncle used to know!
He tells about 'em, lots o' times,
Till we'd all ruther hear
About 'em than the Nurs'ry Rhymes
Er Fairies--mighty near!--
Only sometimes he stops so long
An' then talks on so low an' slow,
It's purt'-nigh sad as any song
To listen to him talkin' so
Of the good, old-fashioned people--
The hale, hard-working people--
The kindly country people
'At Uncle used to know!

It doesn't require any particular bravery to stand on the floor of the Senate and urge our boys in Vietnam to fight harder, and if this war mushrooms into a major conflict and a hundred thousand young Americans are killed, it won't be U. S. Senators who die. It will be American soldiers who are too young to qualify for the senate.

The Republican Party is bringing out here onto the floor of Congress an all-out assault on the protection of the rights of people who work in the fields of our country, in the factories of our country, in the offices of our country.
Walking The Floor On My Hands Over You
Walking the floor on my hands over you
I just cant believe what youre trying to do
Spinning around and around and you know im
Walking the floor on my hands over you
Walking the floor on my hands over you
I just cant believe what youve been trying to do
Spinning around and around and you know im
Walking the floor on my hands over you
Everybody wants somebody
And I can make it just for you
Wont you tell me please tell me
What youre trying to do
Everybody says you want me
Baby Im not too sure
Just what youve been doing
It should be against the law
Walking the floor on my hands over you
I just cant believe what youre trying to do
Spinning around and around and you know im
Walking the floor on my hands over you
Well you got me
I dont know whats going down
Tell me where you want me
And put me back on the ground
Everybody says you want me
Baby Im not too sure
Just what youve been doing
It should be against the law
Walking the floor on my hands over you
I just cant believe what youre trying to do
Spinning around and around and you know im
Walking the floor on my hands over you
Walking the floor on my hands over you
I just cant believe what youre trying to do
Spinning around and around and you know im
Walking the floor on my hands over you
Walking the floor on my hands over you

Members of the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate are not there by accident. Each managed to get there for some reason. Learn what it was and you will know something important about them, about our country and about the American people.

Our Indian politicians
Clad in white clothes from top to bottom,
These bright smiling faces are the symbol of our politics,
They determine the destiny of our country,
They are worried over the country's progress
As well as their commission,
They get in the work budget,
They are busy in siphoning off people's money.
Their exterior is very bright
But the interior is very dark,
They are eating away the country
As the white ant
eats away the wood.
They are hounds in the guise of
goat,
Who eats away its own little ones.
Their palatial residence,
Their fleet of luxury cars,
Are evident
Of their illegitimate earnings,
They can put even their country at stake
To serve their petty interest.
They make people fight
In the name of religion and region,
But all is not alike,
There are few among them who are really
Concerned for the future of the country,
The country is progressing by means of such leaders,
They have love and care for the country,
They are always ready to make sacrifice for the mother land,
But their number is so low that we could count them on fingers.

Look What The Good People Done
They were drinkin his wine
They were usin his name
They were takin the time to take
His name in vain
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
They were havin their fun
Look what the good people done
Well, the good people say things that they
Dont really mean
They look so convincing cause theyre
So squeaky clean
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
Its a million to one
Look what the good people done
They (? put him on walkin down ? ), they said,
Lets go on with the show
And they pad him on whiskey and say, boy,
Youve got to go
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
Hes (? on the highway ? ) to none
Look what the good people done
All the newspaper men
They were lookin for names
Pulled him out of a hat
They needed someone to blame
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
He thought he was the one
Look what the good people done
Well, the good people say,
Keep your nose to the ground
Then theyll build you right up
Just to knock you right down
Look what the good people done to you
Look what the good people done to you
They were gettin their kicks
Look what the good people nixed
[spoken - here we go]
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
They were havin no fun
Look what the good people done

But how long will this peace last
The night that peace comes
torches are launched into the sky
like stars
to glide hanging to the ground
and as far as I look
I see fireworks near and far,
but how long will this peace last?
Nelson Mandela walks out of jail
and there are people cheering
and dancing from joy
and some think
that now they are totally free,
but how long will this peace last?
His rainbow nation disappears
into the naught
and although the sun still shines
work are reserved for some
and people begin to leave the country
while others from all over Africa stream in
and South Africans are jobless,
but how long will this peace last?
There are incapable people getting positions
and the country goes years back
and murder and killings
are totally out of control
and the police are powerless
to stop it,
but how long will this peace last?
The government takes legal firearms in
while crime spreads wider
and the state are trying to control lives
more and more
and corruption, fraud, rape,
murder and robbery
happens every day,
but how long will this peace last?
l’Envoi
The slaughter of black on white
and robbery are urged on
and reverse racism
talked good
and the country is in chaos
with incapables controlling it
and the dilapidation nobody can stop
but how long will this peace last
before the country
gets another hell of a war?

We have the American people properly concerned about the future of our country and the world.

I think women as well as men are concerned about jobs and the economy and spending and, and other issues. They're concerned that when their kids graduate from college they have an economy and they have a future in this country and they, they have the same opportunity that we've had and our grandparents have had.
There weren't any white people in this country who didn't know who Gladys Knight was. Or the Pips were, as far as that's concerned.

The Democrats in the Senate adopted a resolution, an amendment, saying that there should be no Guantanamo detainees brought into this country. So, more and more, we're finding the American people on one side, the ACLU and the troglodytes from the New York Times on the other, where they belong.

A Few Ole Country Boys
Not too many years ago
When dreams were coming true
I'd reach for inspiration
Sometimes it would be you
I'd hear you on the radio
I sure did like your sound
Say it's good to know there's still
A few ol' country boys around
From the smoke it's hard to tell
What's coming down the line
We heard you were a fast train
Coming out of Caroline
We wondered what you were haulin'
When you rolled into to town
Say it's good to know there's still
A few ol' country boys around
You must have felt that same old feeling
More than once or twice
Guitars pressed against our hearts
Under the neon lights
I've got to say that feeling is the best that I have found
Lord it's good to know there's still
A few ol' country boys around
There's a lot of truth you know
In our kind of songs
About the life you're living
And how love's done you wrong
As long as there's a jukebox
And a honky tonk in town
It's good to know there's still
A few ol' country boys around
It's good to know there's still
A few ol' country boys around

It is a land full of hansome men;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of beautiful women;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of roses;
Whose country is this?
it is a land ruled only by men;

It is a land full of businesses;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of harlots;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of wise people;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of idiots!
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of gold;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of cocoa;
Whose country is this?
It is a alnd full of crabs;

It is a land full of horses;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of pigs;
Whose country is this?
It is a land full of statues;
Whose country is this?
it is a land full of birds;
And so on, and so forth!
Because nature had made them so as we see them around us,
But the wise and fool live together on this earth.

Sweet Jamaica
Other people come and go
They try to make it through
I have to smile and tell them no
Cause I only care for you
I only care for you
Yes, you are my sweet, sweet jamaica
Country mama, brown country girl
When you touch me i, I feel so tall
If you let me down boy Id be so small
Yes, you are my sweet jamaica
Country mama, brown country girl
Everybody needs a friend
To brighten up their world
I know youll never let me down
Cause youre not that kind of girl, no no no
I want to see you round every turn
Youre my world far as Im concerned
Got no time to runabout
Just want to spend my life out with you, only you
Yes, you are my sweet, sweet jamaica,
Country mama, brown country girl
Oh, yes you are
Sweet jamaica, oh brown country girl, ooh

Cha-cha Controversy
CHA-CHA CONTROVERSY
Melvin Banggollay
In the desire of those in power
In my own native land of wonder
People seems to be in danger
As the ambitious political leaders
Are making all means to cover
their curruptions with all power.
My land is crippled by controversy
from ZTE broad band anomaly,
Election frauds in the presidency,
human rights violations everyday,
Currupt political clans and hypocrisy,
Agricultural scams of the century
with joc joc bolante's mastery,
and Senate and congress rivalry
for the impeachment of the presidency
Where the congress seems to display
the power of numbers to dismay
the impeachment of Aroyo's glory
at the expense of the the sovereignty
of the people of this Filipino country.
Now they are deploying another power
with the congress magical number
To sustain the controversial term of power
of the president by amending the charter
of the constitution to a unicameral chamber
which would abolish the senate's power
to fiscalize the congressmen's fury
to enjoy their political machinery
in conspiring with the seat of the presidency
to serve the people or currupt the country.
Their greed for power, wealth and money
keep them so inspired to form conspiracy
even they had to lost their own dignity
as stewards of the people's sovereignty
as guardian's of a just and fair democracy
as trusted servant of the Filipino soceity
but sometimes the blame is not only
among the politicians of this country
but also among the many people of society
who voted them because of their money,
goons, political influences and machinery
and not on the basis of their honesty
and ability and skill to serve with dignity.
