No actor ever forgets a role, so I should have realized something was wrong.

As an actor, you can do what you want with your role. That's why they hire you; to take the role and make it real.
The attitude of the actor is his interpretation of what he reads, and the written word is what creates the role in the actor's mind, and I guess in reading the things that were given to me, I reacted as you guys saw me, you know.

Hollywood
A suburb of Los Angeles, California
Very famous for the motion-picture industry it seems.
I hear they are searching a new actor for an ugly role.
Suddenly I sent one of my old photographs with a resume.
And I got a prompt reply; 'Sorry Sir, you are too ugly for the role.
But anyway we decided to hang your photograph in our studio for future references.'
I responded, 'Thank you very much for your kindness Sir.
And I hope you give me a King's role very soon.'

There's one thing better than having a great actor, and that's having a great actor who's never done this kind of role before and is hungry to do it. They're testing themselves every day. They want to get out of their trailer and get to work.

His Bread And His Art
It was an actor, seedy, sad,
Who stood within the gate;
Long weary marches he had had
He had not dined of late.
He sighed: 'I hope I don't intrude.
Believe me or I die:
For days I have not tasted food.
A stranded player I.'
'An actor man?' the lady said.
'What is your favourite role?'
'Hot, madam, and with butter spread,'
He answered from his soul.

Dream With You
(doug hopkins? )
? lays in the dark all day
She waits for the sun to go down
And in her novel we appear
To change her moods around
Well she forgets you now
Well she forgets you now
And girls like that they own the world
Theyll sell you what you need
On languid streets you search for her so ? in her sleep
Well she leads you on
Well she leads you on
Dream with you
Well she could only dream with you
And the distance keeps her warm
Her letters talk of things shes seen
Her silence what shes learned
Reminsce and drink with them
To hasten her return
Well she forgets you now
Well she forgets you now
Well she forgets you now
Well she forgets you now
Dream with you
Well she could only
And the distance keeps her warm
Dream with you
Well she could only
And the distance keeps her warm
Dream with you...

An actor is an actor is an actor. The less personality an actor has off stage the better. A blank canvas on which to draw the characters he plays.

The Looker On
for Mr. Satterthwaite
the audience in drama of life
never lucky in love and adventure
but has knowledge about life and human characters
sometimes wants to be the actor
small role that easily be marginal from world stage
but the one who gives a sign to the leading actor
to start an important climax
that won't be able to begin if he's not there
then goes down from the stage
and satisfied enough to be a looker on again

Sometimes She Forgets
If you see her out tonight
And she tells you that it's just the lights
That bring her here and not her loneliness
That's what she says but sometimes she forgets
If she tells you she don't need a man
She's had all the comfort she can stand
You best believe every word she says
But don't give up 'cause sometimes she forgets
And sometimes she forgets that not too long ago she swore
She wasn't gonna let her heart be broken anymore
So now she keeps it locked away
And it grows colder everyday
And it won't warm to any man's caress
That's what she says but sometimes she forgets
And sometimes she forgets that not too long ago she swore
She wasn't gonna let her heart be broken anymore
If you see her out tonight
And she tells you that it's just the lights
That bring her here and not her loneliness
That's what she says but sometimes she forgets
Yeah, that's what she says, but sometimes she forgets
So don't you dare give up 'cause sometimes she forgets

Actor Of Love
Hold on
I have found something I longing for
To fill the hollowness of my heart
But why I'm feeling more of sorrow
Before
I am the one who said: 'Oh, I'll control'
But now I realize you are my world
And it's waiting to break apart
I'm an actor of love
I'm trying to perfect
But I'm just fooling around
I'm an actor of love
I want to be your hero
But I've made myself a clown
I'm an actor of love
I need you by my side
But now you leave me alone
I'm an actor of love
I beg your forgiveness
But you refuse me so cold
Sometimes
We wonder why we should be together
Do we really dream of love forever?
Or we afraid to be alone
I'm an actor of love
I want to protect you
But I always hurt you bad
I'm an actor of love
I want to be your shield
But may turn someone you hate
I'm an actor of love
We kiss in the morning
But in night we have a war
I'm an actor of love
We care for each other
But we only circle round
If this love only makes me crazy
Take the story and just let it be
Tragedy or comedy
Or anything it wants to be

Word is an Actor to the Poem
Word is an actor to the poem
Play small part in the end of some row
Or get the centre of attention
Written in title and crucial point
Or just a bridge between other characters
Word is an actor to the poem
Cast and found to create whole story
Have a role building imagination
Changed by mood or deep thought
Dancing in the mind of every poet
