There are two types of films - one made by the big-time producers, the other is low budget stuff made by some producers who make films for the heck of it, they complete their films for small amounts, sell it at low costs with almost no publicity.

I was a bartender in New York and I overheard this girl saying she made $3000 doing a commercial. A kid at work told me, 'Hey, I know this director and he'd really like you!'. Failures-Pillars of success
When failure comes our way,
Our heart yearns to slam everything away,
The world around us seems so unfair,
It is intolerable and difficult to bear!
