Far too often animals are put to sleep when they could be saved through proper care and nursing.

Animals
I know what I need I need you
I cant see nothin else all I can see is you
I dont care what they say about my state of mind
I know whats good for me and you are just my kind
We are animals we are animals we are animals we are animals
I know what I want I want you
Shed your cloths forget your codes
You know this is nothing new
I smell your scent I taste your sweat
I feel this passion too
Lets trust our senses not our minds
Lets break all the rules
We are animals we are animals
We are animals we are animals
We are animals
We are animals
Come with me run with me leave this world behind
Come to me come with me I know that we will find
We are animals we are animals
We are animals we are animals
We are animals
We are animals

The Skinflint
The skinflint saved his policies,
The skinflint saved his plugs,
The skinflint saved his first house keys,
The skinflint saved his mugs...
The skinflint saved his chewing gum,
The skinflint saved his rope,
The skinflint saved his small toy drum,
The skinflint saved his soap...
The skinflint saved his worn-out shoes,
The skinflint saved his clothes,
The skinflint saved his tubes of glues,
The skinflint saved his bows...
The skinflint saved his dated files,
The skinflint saved his drapes,
The skinflint saved his airline miles,
The skinflint saved his tapes...
The skinflint saved, yes, on the whole...
The skinflint saved so well?
The skinflint never saved his soul!
So God sent him to Hell...

Nursing Home
The moat in my eyes never bring me no sleep
They just strap me inside with the demons I keep
Gotta leave me alone gotta let it be lone
Tired of living, too tired to die
Makes the sharks keep swimming when he dont know why
Gotta get the lean fin
Only thin that he wears
Nursing me to the movie that he shows
Nursing me to the bureau and the ?
Nursing me cant you leave me alone?
Nursing me in a nursing home
Sleeping and working and an old man
Come just to profit my feet with a broken old hose
Stop riding those rails
Stop setting those sails
He likes (boom boogie ? ? )
Hes got an old trombone
While hes laughing at the fires with a broken beat phone
Got a troubled soul
But hes not that cold
(chorus)
Ive been nursed ten years in a nursing home!
Stinking on water I could use me food
He needed big fat gravy on the wake of pot roast
Got a fire inside
Its gonna burn him alive
Talking and struggle till the roof is blown
Got a bed and three squares in a nursing home
Gonna say bye-bye
Hes gonna walk on by

Social Security Reform
They have found an answer for social security
Put them in a nursing home, no liability
Medicaid and medicare will probably have to pay
Then they'll only live a year or two and become their prey
The nursing home corporations, will get rich
And the social security payments, they can ditch
Who's powerful enough to point a finger at them
Some politicians is where it all will stem
The corporations make large contributions
Giving social security great solutions
Let's change the laws and cap health care liabilty
And hurt the care in nursing homes, supposed to be tranquilty
I guess when people get old, they don't need a voice
After all it's not their own, it's the goverments choice!

To save is to destruct
Protect the animals-
Save the birds-
There is a cry all over.
We live on animals and plants.
Animals live too likewise.
If all are saved,
Where is space to grow
more and more plants
to the undying animal kingdom?

Saved By Love
Laura loves her little family,
And shes the kind of woman who loves them with her life.
But sometimes in the evening,
When the world rests on her shoulders
With four walls closing in,
Shell close her eyes.
Oh....
Its not like she misses being younger,
Though she never was in vogue magazine or on tv;
Her husband loves her dearly,
And the morning shows her clearly,
Kisses her little baby girl.
Laura, shes the queen of the world.
Cant imagine ever leaving now,
Now that shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Listen to her quiet heart singing loud.
Laura, shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
I know that shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Saved by love.
Theres nothing quite like my familys love to warm me,
And nothing short of deaths gonna ever leave me cold.
Well, still at times its lonely,
But through it all it only
Makes me love jesus more,
And this is what he came here for.
I cant imagine ever leaving now.
Now that Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Hes gone and turned my crazy world back around,
And Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
I know that Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love....
Oh, Im never leaving now,
Now that Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Hes gone and turned my crazy world back around,
And Ive been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love.
Amy, shes been saved by love,
Saved by love, saved by love....
Saved by love.
Im saved by love.
Thats right.
And nothing I can say,
Nothing I can do, nothing I can say.
Were all just saved by love.
Nothing you can say, nothing you can do.
Only love can say, only love can do,
Only love can say.
Only love can say, only love can do,
Only love can say.
Im say-yay-yaved by,
Im saved by, by,
Nothing you can do, nothing you can say,
Only love can say....

My Father Away From Home
T still smell
the pervasive urine
in my sleep
the old nursing home
of lost teeth
and too much sleep
the seeping sores
that never heal
an ignominious end
to a valiant life
of silent courage.

I Should Care
I should care
I should go around weeping
I should care
I should go without sleeping
Strangely enough I sleep well
'cept for a dream or two
But then I count my sheep well
Funny how sheep can love you to sleep
But I should care
I shouldn't let it upset me
I should care
But it just doesn't get me
Maybe I won't find someone
As lovely as you
But I should care
And I do
But I should care
And I do

The Song Of An Old Man
i
his song is sad
a white man in the nursing home
his children sent him there
and they did not bother
ii
the Filipina nurses him
everyday she takes care of him
as he pees
as he poos
she needs the money
she sends her children back in her country
to school
she needs the green bucks to pay her debts
she too has a sad song
iii
and there in the nursing home
the Filipina and the old white man sing their sad songs
they have broken hearts
one waits for his happy death
another one looks for her sad life

You Say You Are Saved
Peppered and salted is your tongue.
And you say you are saved.
Prepared and quick you are,
To assault and offend anyone.
And you say you are saved.
What is it you run from when done?
When you say you are saved.
What is it that you think,
You are protected from?
When you say you are saved.
Do you have what's needed to stop your agonies?
And when you plead to be released from bended knees...
Repeatedly,
What is that saves you...
When you say you pray faithfully,
And it stays that way everyday.
What is it you run from when done?
When you say you are saved.
What is it that you think,
You are protected from?
When you say you are saved.
To hide what you do on a daily basis.
Peppered and salted is your tongue.
And you say you are saved.
Prepared and quick you are,
To assault and offend anyone.
And you say you are saved.
You say it.
But what is it saved that you obey?
You 'say' you are saved,
But...
From what?

Keep It Proper
Keep it proper!
You never know on you who might peep.
When you do a thing discreet.
You never know on you who might peep.
It's best that you keep it proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
Especially when you're seen in the streets.
You never know on you who might peep.
Keep,
It
Proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
Distorting what you do to deceive.
You never know on you who might peep.
It's best that you keep it proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
When a seeker seeks a weakness to heat.
You never know on you who might peep.
Controversy lovers love it,
More obscene.
People feed sensations that wound and bleed.
With a caring less of who's affected by misdeeds
Keep,
It
Proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
Distorting what you do to deceive.
You never know on you who might peep.
Yes it's best that you keep it proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
When a seeker seeks a weakness to heat.
You never know on you who might peep.
It's best
That you keep it proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
Yes it is best
That you keep it proper.
You never know on you who might peep.
Yes it is best that you keep it proper,
That business to express on the streets.
You never know,
On you
Who might peep.

Bad Animals
They walk into the lobby
The pack in black
Heads are turning
But they don't look back
They must be crazy
Not buying in
Why these outsiders
Get to shock and offend
They're bad animals - bad animals
Got to swim upstream got a rebel seed
Bad animals - bad animals
Got to push the grain or go insane
Out here on the frontline
Our territory is nighttime
We walk the jungle line
We stay alive
Bad

I Wonder Where My Lions Are?
I wonder where my lions are?
I wonder where my lions are?
I wonder where my lions are?
They are safe running in heaven in that beautiful park that God own in Heaven together with the other animals
Also in heaven they are protected by God
Because God doesn't allow any hunters in heaven
Like here on the earth
But there is no animal cruelty in heaven
But the place that have animal cruelty is on the earth
The people that lives in heaven are more educated than on the earth
The people in heaven respect the animals in heaven
The people on earth don't respect the animals on the earth
The people in heaven have a lot of love for the animals
The people on the earth don't seem to have any love for the animals
Even when I sleep I dream of heaven and I see the lions and other Animals
Living free in the park
And I must say that the park in heaven that God made is beautiful
But at the same time I thank God for giving the animals a beautiful Home

Previously Intellingent Mammals
There are some animals
that they grow up very slow.
They believe that this world
is made and turns only around them.
That the joy and happiness
must be the only purpose of their life.
That if they want to survive
they must exterminate all the other animals.
That the life is very short
and unique to be somebody patient.
There are some animals that don't
accept death as a part of their life.
Some of them wish to be another animal
A stronger animal, more clever, better looking.
There are some animals
that they live very different
from all the other animals
Call them.....................man.

Come Sleep
Come sleep
Come save me now
From my mind
From my pain
From myself
Come sleep
Come save me now
From this world
From this life
From this place
Come sleep
Come save me now
From darkness
From sadness
From sorrow
Come sleep
Come save me now
I need to be saved
Some way
Some how

Nursing Home Blue
Nursing Home Blues
I sent mother to a nursing home, she didn´t want
to go but I ignored her wishes, we often do that
when concerning old people, we say it is for their
own good, but the truth is I didn´t know what
else to do. Mother became quite rebellious they
called me from the home she was throwing food
about and demanded, when she evacuated, that
an assistant come and dry her bum.
Wanted to go home, there was no home she had
lived in a rented flat and someone else lived there.
When she knew she she felt betrayed, her silence
was damning. She stopped eating, gaunt, a skeleton
before death came as a relief. Now that I´m old too
families telling me I should not ride on my scooter
in case I might fall off…like should I care.

Send A Kind Word.
Send a kind Word, to a Mother, for Christmas this year,
She may be suffering, the loss of a baby, and sheds a tear;
She may have had her family, all moving away, somewhere far,
Please remember a Mother at Christmas, send her a Christmas star.
Send a sweet message to a lonely one, who has not got a home,
Remember they may have been once popular, now so alone;
Why not ask the hurting one, come share a meal with me,
Maybe you could take a candle, and say share the moment with me,
Send a toy to a sick child for Christmas, they may be hurting so much,
They may have been in road trauma, and just need a loving careful touch;
You may like to take them a bear, to show you will really care.
They also may enjoy to see, a Christmas bell, and let you know you're there.
Write a gentle word for Christmas, to a lonely person in jail,
Or what about the Nursing homes, those so old and frail;
Then there are the sick animals, who need care from you too,
Go buy some flowers, a book of love, or write a love poem by you.

Unga Boo Ah
Unga Boo Ah was a little African boy of the Mamba
tribe who loved animals
They listened to him when he talked to them
Unga Boo Ah was friendly with all the animals
But his best animal friend was a lion named Anymalls
One day, Anymalls came to see Unga Boo Ah
To warn him of a coming disaster
Anymalls told Unga that there was an earthquake coming soon
Unga hurried to his village to warn the tribe and tell
them they were to move at once
All the tribe was saved because of the warning by Anymalls
Anymalls and Unga were praised by the tribe and all
the animals
