About The Leap
A leap in the dark or a leap with eyes shut
Might prove right and a leap with awareness
Might prove wrong sometimes. However, the leap
With eyes open will imbue confidence.

A Leap For Love
One who fears the heights
And another lone of heart
Struggled from isolation’s depths
Hoping to make a fresh start
One who always occupied
The same solitary spaces
Through a curious window found
Another who traveled to many places
One who never really searched
For a lifetime counterpart
Dared make a real connection with
One who knew more of Love’s Art
One who never tried, yet true
One who tried and lost a few
Steeled themselves as small steps they took
To precipice’s edge to risk a look
Two having weighed the risk
Of making promises to keep
Held hands and shared a smile
Then together took the leap
One and One became One
On Leap Year Day 2004
Instead of the separate Two
That they had been before
So if you are thinking of
Taking just such a leap
For the sake of sharing love
That’s both true and deep
On Leap Year Day in 2008
Leap, Leap, I say!
Leap! Marriage is great!
Leap! Leap! Leap!
Leap! Don’t hesitate!

Leap Of Faith
Words and music by michelle branch
One less call to answer,
Feeling full of despair,
Dont think I can get through it,
Just one last prayer.
*and its a leap of faith,
When you believe theres someone out there,
Its a leap of faith when you believe that someone cares, oh,
And when I call out to you,
Will you be right there,
Right there.
Searching for the answer,
Nobody seems to care,
Oh how I wish that you were here,
Beside me,
To wipe away my tears.
*and its a leap of faith,
When you believe theres someone out there,
Its a leap of faith when you believe that someone cares, oh,
And when I call out to you,
Will you be right there,
Right there.
Waiting for the answer,
Remembering times we would share,
Somehow I feel you here beside me,
Even though your not there.
*and its a leap of faith,
When you believe theres someone out there,
Its a leap of faith when you believe that someone cares, oh,
And when I call out to you,
Will you be right there-
Bridge:
Right there---
And Ill be waiting by the window for your smile to come through,
And Ill be waiting in the darkness when I call out to you,
And Ill remember when you told me,
I could trust in you-
*and its a leap of faith,
When you believe theres someone out there,
Its a leap of faith when you believe that someone cares, oh,
And when I call out to you,
Will you be right there-
Its a leap of faith,
And I believe that you are out there,
Its a leap of faith and I believe you truly care, oh,
And when I call out to you,
I know youll be right there,
Right there,
And its a leap of faith.

I Leap Too Deep
I try to walk,
talk,
but i go stuck.
And then i leap.
Leap,
deep.
Leap deeper.
Deep into the darkness
of her eyes.
Deep into her private
things.
With my wits,
i leap deep.
Deeper into the hidden
scenes of her heart.
Disaster.
I fought.
I Lost.
I sought,
but no way out.
Too deep.
No way out.
Now am stuck
in her deep thought.

A Leap In The Dark
All I know is that I am leaping in the dark
All the way to the central park
I know I have to shoot in the dark
Sun will rise late tonight from the ark
The vicious dogs chose to bark
As I take my routine leap in the dark
I know well if I turn back
I might loose as well
Not taking any such possibility of chances
I choose to walk straight through avalanches
A leap in the dark
All that way to the central park…

Save Your Generation
[Originally by Jawbreaker]
I have a present,
It is a present,
You'll have to learn to find it within you,
If you could learn,
To love it you just might like it,
You cant live without it,
Theres a million open windows,
Passing these opened windows,
Passing these opened windows,
Whaoh, Whaoh, Whaoh [x2]
There is plenty,
To critice,
It gets so easy to narrow these eyes,
But these eyes will stay wide,
I will stay young,
Young and dumb inside,
I had just begun,
To forget my lines,
Your a punk and Im tellin everyone
You could save yourself,
you could save us all,
Go on living, prove us wrong,
Your leap of faith,
Could be a well - timed smile,
Survival never goes out of style,
I have a message: save your generation,
We're killing each other by sleeping in,
Finnegan, begin again,
This one can be won,
One can become two,
Two can pick and choose,
You could be the first,
You could save yourself,
you could save us all,
Go on living, prove us wrong,
Your leap of faith,
Could be a well - timed smile,
Survival never goes out of style,
You have to learn to learn from your mistakes,
You can afford to lose a little face,
The things you break,
Some can't be replaced,
A simple rule: every day be sure you wake,
You could save yourself,
you could save us all,
Go on living, prove us wrong,
Your leap of faith,
Could be a well - timed smile,
Survival never goes out of style.

Under The Dark and Piny Steep
Under the dark and piny steep
We watched the storm crash by:
We saw the bright brand leap and leap
Out of the shattered sky.
The elements were minist'ring
To make one mortal blest;
For, peal by peal, you did but cling
The closer to his breast.

Take The Leap
Take the leap
Fly with me if you're ready
Allow me to lead
Dance with me, sway with me
Could you let me in?
I want to take the leap
I truly wish to fly
You can lead, I will let you
I will allow you in
I'm just scared
You won't come to harm
I will hold you close
In a tight embrace
We can try to fly
Prove that you trust me
I trust you, I do
It's a fear of the leap
Of the effort, the goals
What if we don't make it?
I don't wish to die
We won't die, I promise
Come into my arms
We will dance and sway
Together
Forever
Just take the leap, mon chérie
Pour je t'aime
I love you
I will care for you
In life and death
Ma cœur
Then let us fly through the night
Two birds of a feather
Our wings trace circles through the sky
We fly as high as we may, or ‘til there is a barrier
For I love you too, my dear

Taking the Leap (For Tara & Ez)
Love has such a great way of growing
Often by leaps and bounds lovers say
Loving hearts have a way of knowing
When to decide on a Wedding Day
So Leap year is really quite fitting
Extra special to happen this way
Leaping hearts fluttering and flitting
With joy heading to a Wedding Day
Love does not tell time by a clock face
Calendar neither holds any sway
Love moves on at hearts very own pace
So do two hearts chose a Wedding Day
Enjoy all the moments that will come
There’s not really much more I need say
Two hearts are rejoicing in one home
Having heart-picked their own Wedding Day
~ Love is Everything ~
All the best to the two of you from Mary and Jim

Leap Of Faith
All over the world the rain was pourin
I was scratchin where it itched
Oh heartbreak and despair got nothing but boring
So I grabbed you baby like a wild pitch
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust
Now your legs were heaven your breasts were the altar
Your body was the holy land
You shouted jump but my heart faltered
You laughed and said baby dont you understand?
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust
Now you were the red sea I was moses
I kissed you and slipped into a bed of roses
The waters parted and love rushed inside
I was jesus son sanctified
Tonight the moons looking young but Im feelin younger
neath a veil of dreams sweet blessings rain
Honey I can feel the first breeze of summer
And in your love Im born again
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
It takes a leap of faith you gotta show some guts
It takes a leap of faith to get things going
In your heart you must trust

L’Apprenti Sorcier
Suddenly there came to me
The music of a mighty sea
That on a bare and iron shore
Thundered with a deeper roar
Than all the tides that leap and run
With us below the real sun:
Because the place was far away,
Above, beyond our homely day,
Neighbouring close the frozen clime
Where out of all the woods of time,
Amid the frightful seraphim
The fierce, cold eyes of Godhead gleam,
Revolving hate and misery
And wars and famines yet to be.
And in my dreams I stood alone
Upon a shelf of weedy stone,
And saw before my shrinking eyes
The dark, enormous breakers rise,
And hover and fall with deafening thunder
Of thwarted foam that echoed under
The ledge, through many a cavern drear,
With hollow sounds of wintry fear.
And through the waters waste and grey,
Thick-strown for many a league away,
Out of the toiling sea arose
Many a face and form of those
Thin, elemental people dear
Who live beyond our heavy sphere.
And all at once from far and near,
They all held out their arms to me,
Crying in their melody,
“Leap in! Leap in and take thy fill
Of all the cosmic good and ill,
Be as the Living ones that know
Enormous joy, enormous woe,
Pain beyond thought and fiery bliss:
For all thy study hunted this,
On wings of magic to arise,
And wash from off thy filmed eyes
The cloud of cold mortality,
To find the real life and be
As are the children of the deep!
Be bold and dare the glorious leap,
Or to thy shame, go, slink again
Back to the narrow ways of men.”
So all these mocked me as I stood
Striving to wake because I feared the flood.

Right The Wrong
An indian woman buried her grampa in the black hills
When she was young he used to tell her
That these hills belonged to her still
And even though injustice took them hills away
One day well get them back, he said
And the suns gonna shine that day
When we say, right the wrong
Before she laid him down to rest
She heard his voice in the wilderness
Sayin I got six feet of it back
And now we can right the wrong
Right the wrong
Hear the song
Before long u wont hear nothin but the crackle of flames
Right the wrong
Hear the song
Would u rather die knowing that u did or keep living in shame
Did you hear the one about the boy just 17
Three years hard time for stealing ice cream
First offence and all his dreams are gone
How long before they right the wrong?
Right the wrong
Hear the song
Before long u wont hear nothin but the crackle of flames
Right the wrong
Hear the song
Would u rather die knowing that u did or keep living in shame
Right the wrong
2, 3, uh
1, 2, 1-2, come on
(right the wrong baby)
Far be it from me to say
It seem like we could stop the flow of snow in the sky today
But I guess the weather man he likes the rain
Aint that insane
Now sing
Right the wrong
Hear the song
Before long u wont hear nothin but the crackle of flames
Right the wrong
Hear the song
Would u rather die knowing that u did or keep living in shame?
(come on, come on, come on)
Did you hear me baby?
Right the wrong
Im 6 feet in the grave
Im 6 feet in the grave
(right right, right right)
(right the wrong right the wrong)
(right the wrong right the wrong)
Right the wrong (right the wrong right the wrong)
(right the wrong right the wrong)
(right the wrong right the wrong)
(right the wrong right the wrong)
Right the wrong (right the wrong right the wrong)
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust (right the wrong right the wrong)
This young man with a talented soul (right the wrong right the wrong)
Died when he wanted 2. (right the wrong right the wrong)
The [life/light]that lives (right the wrong right the wrong)
So he shall not be pitied
Nor shall the guity be forgiven
Until they find it in their hearts to
Right the wrong

Lullaby-Little Little Let Sleep Leap
Lullaby-Little Little Let Sleep Leap
Let sleep leap little little,
Let sleep leap brittle brittle.
Little little let sleep leap,
Light of candle shinning deep.
Let not fight dear for mere pillow,
“Look I sing a lullaby then you follow”.
Lauded Dadi patting hands on Pomu’s head.
Long bell rang ten Dadi quickly arranged the bed.
Little little let sleep leap,
A King was there who liked sleep.
At ten even he was lost in his dream.
Was so fond of milk, butter and ice cream.
Always was angry on Queen for breaking sleep;
Who smiled giggled and mimicked in his fairy trip.
Lttle little let sleep leap,
Once the Queen played a trick.
Snored so loud as his belly dance.
She sneaked to bath room mild tense.
Before He rises She must finish her job;
Neither Her idea would become a big flop.
Little little let sleep leap,
Fetch a mug of water to drip.
King then frowned getting soaked;
Shouted so loud feeling the chilly red.
“How dare you throw? ” He spitted venom.
Poor Queen fearful stood by him silent and dumb.
Lttle little let sleep leap,
She saw a lizard on roof top;
Pointed at the sinner in tearful eye.
The King then told her no need to cry.
Scared Queen then told him to take a bath.
The King was cleaned bowled by his own wrath.
Little little let sleep leap,
Let Bless my child as the night dip!
Last Queen then smiled at mighty King.
Long he leapt to the tub for mere silly thing.
Lazy was King indeed really a very bad habit;
Lay my gold-son Pomu is neither King nor the rabbit.
Let sleep leap little little
Let sleep leap brittle brittle

Vow (The Leap)
If you cry, I'll cry
crocodile tears, my fears
if you lie, I'll believe
try so I may see
show so I may feel
Believe, if not in you and me
in us, take a leap,
faith, feet first
allow me to lead
with a bended knee
You're not ready I know
nobody ever is
but we got this far
let's ride it out
take this leap with me
only if you believe it's real
at the alter forever we meet

Just Say Yes
Say this is it
Don't say maybe
Don't say no
Say this is it
Don't say hold on
Don't say slow
Say this is it
Don't say next time
Don't say when
Say this is it
Don't say later
No don't say then
Just say yes! do it now!
Let yourself go!
Just leap! don't look!
Or you'll never know
If you love it
You might really love it...
If you love it
You might really love it!
Oh come on and love it!
Yeah this is it
Don't be cautious
Don't think twice
This is it
Don't play it safe
Don't put it on ice
Yeah this is it
Don't chew it over
No don't kick it around
This is it
Don't wait and see
Don't try to work it out
Just say yes! do it now!
Let yourself go!
Just leap! don't look!
Or you'll never know...
If you love it
You might really love it...
If you love it
You might really love it!
So don't tell me
It could all go wrong
No don't tell me
It could all be a mess
Oh don't tell me
It could all be a waste of time
Just say oui! si! sim! da! ja! yow! igen! kylla!
Just say yes
