I don't think I would have been able to stick with it and been proud of who I am and be feminine out on the court. I think I would have folded to the peer pressure if I didn't have my mom to encourage me to be me and be proud of how tall I am.

Im So Proud
Youre prettier than all the world
And Im so proud, Im so proud, Im so proud of you
cause youre only one fellows girl
Im so proud, Im so proud, Im so proud of you
Im so proud of being loved by you
And it would hurt, hurt to know,
If you ever were untrue, yeah
Sweeter than the taste of a cherry so sweet
Yeah, and Im so proud, Im so proud,
Im so proud of you
Compliments to you from all the people we meet
Yes babe and Im so proud, Im so proud,
Im so proud of you
Im so proud of being loved by you

Proud To Be Loud
Listen up good
I got a lot to say
I know what I want
And I get my own way
I call em as I see em
I dont play by the book
One dose of volume
Thats all it took
Ive seen it, Ive done it
Ive heard it before
Now its my turn
To settle the score
Ill sing it, Ill shout it
Ill say it again
I dont care if they
Never give in cause im
Proud to be loud
Proud to be loud
You know Im proud
Proud to be loud
Well Ive alway believed
In freedom of speech
And Ive always been the one
Who practiced what I preached
Love it or leave it
Ill give you the choice
But itll snow in hell
Before I lower my voice
I live it, I breathe it
I gotta have more
Its full blast
And this means war
The power, the glory
Its callin my name
I wont start to
Play their game cause im
Proud to be loud
Proud to be loud
Im proud to be loud
And Ill never
Turn it down again no!!
Proud to be loud
Proud to be loud
Im proud,
Proud to be loud

Power of the King
Death be not proud
for you have no hold over my life,
Death be not proud
for I cannot die! !
Death be not proud
you instill no fear
Death be not proud
for my King lay down His life for me
Death be not proud
you have no power
you destroy just flesh and bone
you dont have the power to resurrect
Death be not proud
you own me not
for I have been bought
Death be not proud
for my soul shall live on,
In HIS Kingdom is where I belong! !

Dedicated To My Mom
It didn’t hurt when, I failed my freshman year
I knew that in a way I had to so our family can stay together
It didn’t hurt when I had to go live with my dad
I knew it was best and I would be able to with you again
It didn’t hurt when I stayed with dad almost over a year,
I knew what we had to fix would take more time
It didn’t hurt when I started living with you,
I knew that our lives are going to change forever.
It didn’t hurt went I went to your graduation for life works.
I was proud to see you clean and full of life.
Tears were shed,
Feelings were shared,
Stories were told,
Hugs were given,
And lives were changed.
I knew our lives were going to be different,
As long as I have you there to guide me along the way,
I know I will succeed.
This is for you mom for doing great,
For getting what you had to get done,
Achieved.
I love you,
And am proud to be your daughter,
So I wanted to show it to you.
So this is for you.
Mom,
Seeing you graduate from your classes inspired me,
I know now that,
If you stick to something you can
Conquer it.
I got to see you graduate and now you can see me.
So this is for you,
Mom.

Be proud of yourself.
Your son is a physician
And the daughter, a musician,
You are proud.
Your brothers and sisters
Are in high position,
You are proud.
Your father is a lawyer
And mother, a singer,
You are proud.
See, none of them
Are proud of you.
In priding you are failing.

Be Proud
Be proud of who you are,
your one of a kind.
There is no one else like you.
Always remember
walk tall where ever you go,
and remember you are one of a kind,
no one else is like you.
So be proud of who you are.
If people try to belittle you,
they will only be belittling themselves.
If people try to put you down,
look them straight in the eye,
smile and walk tall on your way.
Be proud of who you are
because no one can take that away from you.
Always remember
you are one of a kind
and no one is just quite like you,
so smile
and always walk tall on your way.

Forever
You fear the reaper staring in the night
Now he calls for blood
You stole the secret of his tender heart
There is no return
Here the call
Don't want to fall
Stand proud stay true
Stand tall forever
The quest for battle it will always hunt You down Why can't You see
The wind is blowing rain is falling down on you you're far from home
Here the call
Don't want to fall
Stand proud stay True
Stand tall forever
Inside Your mind You are searching for the truth it's plain to see
There have always been two sides of every tale you don't want to fail
Here the call
Don't want to fall
Stand proud stay true
Stand tall forever

Picking My Poison
More and more it feels like the stresses of life are clouding me, like a thick wall of fog through which I can barely see
It feels like all this stress is strangling me, help somebody please! It feels as though I can barely breathe!
But wait while yet all this stress continues to strangle me, there is also this pounding pressure I can feel inside of me
The pressure of taking care of you, the pressure of to myself staying true, the pressure to be who you want me to be, the pressure of never making a mistake for fear that you'll never again be able to look at me
The pressure of trying to succeed, the pressure of always trying to make you proud of me, the pressure of trying to make everybody happy, little do they know that sooner or later all this pressure will finally destroy me
But even if this pounding pressure I feel inside doesn't do me in first, there's still this strangling stress that continues to choke me, and honestly I don't know which poison is worst.

I Salute You Zaingair
Proud be you
You Zaingair
of thy unique name
of thy unique identity
Proud be you
You Zaingair
of thy waters
Sweet thy waters seem
but poisonous they are
Proud be you
you Zaingair
Of thy sheep
innocent they seem
but cunning they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy variety of serpents
Meek they seem
But venomous they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy singing birds
Depth in their songs seem
But shallow they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy huge mountains
Consistent they seem
But vacillating they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy monkeys
Social they seems
but aliens they are
I salute you
You Zaingair, i salute you
for the variety of beasts
You have begotten
And you do nurture

So proud
So proud of you I am my child
The inner you came out on stage
Your first recital I was amazed
And there you were so wonderful so true
The room was moved and so was I
To see my boy my man
Stand tall in front of all of them
So proud of you I am my child

i got pubished in a book, are you proud no you said you could careless, how can you be so heartless.
I let go of many things youve done, said and you promised maybe that wasnt a smart idea but ill learn so are you proud yet.

Wouldn't Mama Be Proud?
The question is wouldn't mama be proud?
There's a silver lining in the corporate cloud
And the pretty pose that you're taking as
As an emcee, oh, of the great pretender
I should sure think so
Wouldn't mama be proud?
"can i take your order?"
Asks the heavenly host
Ticket to the jetstream
Blowing coast to coast
The long stemmed glasses, a movie
And a pleasant dream in mid air
You gotta tell me quickly
Cos we're almost there
Wouldn't mama be proud?
If you look out your window
And the sky's gone black
Well kid you're on the right track
If i send you postcards
From the side of the road
Photographs of moving
Parts about to explode
If i call to keep it together
Like you say i can do
To transmit a moment
From me to you
Wouldn't mama be proud?
Wouldn't mama be proud?
Wouldn't mama be proud?
Wouldn't mama be proud?

A Letter from the Sand 'Be Proud
Today I received a letter from the sand. It read Dear Sir, we regret to inform you that your brother Sgt. Andre Smith was killed two days ago in Iraq, but be proud he died a hero. Now I must read that letters a hundred times but pride never came over me but anger did. Anger that got me asking questions like is proud of what, that my big brother is no longer here? Or should I be proud that they turned my caring brother into murder all under the false flag of freedom? Be proud, I am proud and I was always proud not because Andre died as hero but I am proud because he was my brother.
Note:
This poem is not a true story. Now although my brother Andre did past away he did not die that way, but I wanted to honor him so I used his name in a poem the relates to current affairs
For Me You Are…………
Building the wall of confidence, all around my ribs
Inspiring, when am alone, even in noise
Showing me, the fairy way, when I get confused
Hauling me from, those atrocious affairs, that matters
Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
(Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Under my heart to hide.)
Pursuing illusion, enlightening my life
Reaching, as a shadow at the time of tide
Intimacy, in the dream that comes into my mind
Yielding smile at my labor, creating zeal at my failure
(Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Under my heart to hide.)
At every insult and every admire
Youth mind, mine even if retires
Occupying for me, the seat of mentor
Uprooting all solitary despairs
Aspiring not to be worry, else to fear
Reinforcing skeleton by self-esteem of yours
(Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Under my heart to hide.)
Enriching my each moment, being even so bare
Animating my life, that anyone can't imagine
Nursing me, to special from alone
Grasping me in the midst of up and down
Enlivening those deadly postures of dreams
Lightening by a heavy power as thunderstorm
(Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Under my heart to hide.)
Forgiving me for each-every mistakes done
Organizing such beautiful ceremonies
Rearranging me, trying to make me genuine
My life you are, I can't remain alone
Eagerly, have awaited for you, oh my feminine!
(Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Now, am feeling proud, to have you like a friend in my life
Unable to be mute and those unspoken tales
Under my heart to hide.)

One Day I'll Make You Proud, Dad......! ! ! ! !
Dad, I'm flunked,
said me.....
Son, never worry,
I'm happy you tried.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm ditched,
said me, wailing.....
Son, never weep,
I'm happy someone made you realise the pain.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm expeled,
said me, embarrassed of copying in finals......
son, never shame of mistakes,
I'm happy you admit the wrongdoing......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm sloshed,
said me, apologizing for being like that.....
Son, I'll help you to bed,
I'm happy you learned to apologize.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm paid,
said me, surrendering first salary....
Son, It's yours, keep it safe,
I'm happy you earned them legitimately.....
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm in love,
said me, shivering in fear.....
Son, choose the best, you deserve best,
I'm happy you don't miss mommy's love anymore......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, I'm married,
said me, Kneeling for his blessings....
Son, blessings always on you since your birth,
I'm happy I dont have to sleep with you anymore......
ONE DAY I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, DAD.....! ! ! ! ! ! !
YOU'LL SON, I RECKON.....
Dad, eventually I'm a dad,
exclaimed me, an infant in my hands.....
Son, I'm old, cant talk more,
I'm happy You're a perfect man.... He coughed....
ONE DAY HE'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, SON...! ! ! ! ! !
AS YOU MADE ME PROUD.....

It's Me! .. and my boyfriend
Hey
Do you know?
I am sick of stick with you!
You, your pretty-cute-handsome face and bunch of your other girlfriends
Always told me what to do!
Can you tidy up your hair?
Can you wear another blouse?
Can you be a little feminine?
I don't want to be your perfect Barbie
I AM real
I can't always be your dream girls
It's me!
Okay, I'm ordinary
JUST a normal schoolgirl
But I have an identity
Identity of who I truly want to be
Yeah, and because of that
We FINISHED
If you never see who exactly I am
It's ME, and I'm proud of that
For a girls who have a FUSSY boyfriend, it's the right time to show who you really are and kick your boyfriend out from your life FOREVER
