I want to make a pop album - something more upbeat than my stuff was in the '90s.

The only person I've worked with on my album was Kanye. And between the stuff that I've done and the stuff that he's assisted on and produced for me for this album, I don't even need anything else.

One thing, when you're an actor, you finish something and then you have to worry about what the next gig is. When you're a musician, you can always write your own stuff, and I'm working on new stuff for a new album right now.

Missys Finale
Yo, you have come almost to the close of my album
But before I go I just wanna thank God for staying with me
Through my ups and downs and through my whole period
Of doing this album, I want to thank timbaland who came up with
The beats and all the people who appeared on my album
Make it hot, aight, Im out

I got a chance to have my dream come true, and I wanted to make sure I made the decision as to when I dropped my last album. If I don't feel like this album is an incredible piece of work, then I'm cool with the albums I've done. I don't have to put out another album.

Downhill Stuff
This song appears on two albums, and was first released on the john denver album, and has also been released on the country classics album.
Blue river blues
Id rather be outside
Here I am inside
Watching it rain
Blue river blues
Id rather be somewhere
Here I am nowhere
Watching it rain
Some people like that downhill stuff
They like it fast and breezy
Some people walk on the other side
They like it slow and easy
Some people run on a mountain trail
Some like it wild and rough
Some like to fly and some like to sail
Some like the downhill stuff
Theres work in what we practice
Work in the things we say
Sometime we work just to try to make a livin
Or were workin just to make it pay
Sometimes were tryin to work our will
But that wont work anyway
I only know that Im workin still
Just to get another chance to play
Some people like that downhill stuff
They like it fast and breezy
Some people walk on the other side
They like it slow and easy
Some people run on a mountain trail
Some like it wild and rough
Some like to fly and some like to sail
Some like the downhill stuff
Keep a movin in a forward direction
Like a river rollin down to the sea
If you wanna make different selection
Honey let yourself go with gravity
Oh everybodys lookin for heaven
Everybodys lookin for hope
Everybody lookin for higher and higher
But nobody wants to be lookin alone
Everybodys tryin to get down to it
Everybodys tryin to sing
Whatever it is were all gonna do it
But whatever we do
We gotta do our own thing
Some people like that downhill stuff
They like it fast and breezy
Some people walk on the other side
They like it slow and easy
Some people run on a mountain trail
Some like it wild and rough
Some like to fly and some like to sail
Some like the downhill stuff

They've got the singles and some people have burnt them from different web sites and stuff. So it was something that we talked about for a long, long time, and I just wanted to make sure that this remix album to be really special.

(myles goodwyn)
Published by mfg sing sing music/socan - ascap
Everytime I get restless, I see my hand knockin on your door
And everytime Im in a fix baby, I start actin like I need you more
Well Ive been lookin for someone to talk to
And Ive been searchin for a better way
And Ive been runnin all over town, girl
Ive been lookin each and every way, yeah
But you got somethin special
And Im bein on the level with you
You got that thing that moves me, yeah
(great stuff, luv your stuff), mmm, I luv your stuff
(great stuff, luv your stuff), at five oclock in the morning
(great stuff, luv your stuff), still cant get enough
(great stuff, luv your stuff)
Livin like a fool in flames
You know that I been usin you, girl
And Im the one to blame
But babe, I got my cupboards all stocked and ready
What you get girl, is what you see
And youve been lookin inside my head now
And you got your arms wrapped around me, mmm
I got no thing for our candy
Its your lovin girl, that gets me down
You got that thing that moves me, yeah
(great stuff, luv your stuff), ooh, I luv your stuff
(great stuff, luv your stuff), send the bill in the morning
(great stuff, luv your stuff), I luv your stuff
(great stuff, luv your stuff), get busy
I got no sense of reason, I know I gotta make a deal
Its all comin down to somethin baby, its tellin me I got to get real, huh
I got my senses in a tuft, Im all mixed up, my temperatures starting to rise
And I cant seem to stay away from you, girl, I think its more than we realized, yeah
Wont you look what its doin
Its your lovin girl, that gets me down
You got that thing that moves me, yeah
(great stuff, luv your stuff), ooh, I luv your stuff
(great stuff, luv your stuff), Ill pay the price in the morning
(great stuff, luv your stuff), ooh, I luv your stuff
(great stuff, luv your stuff)

Why Do Folks Just Make Up Stuff?
Why do folks just make up stuff?
Even those who traditionally lie professionally,
And have kept it this way for centuries...
Can be noticed becoming increasingly appalled,
By this relatively new trend in communication.
Their lies are being amended,
By the telling of lies more outrageously told.
And to say they are offended,
Is an understatement.
They can be seen blowing off steam.
Why do folks just make up stuff?
Not even good made up stuff at that.
There is weak made up stuff being made.
Low grade although acceptable.
And this can be seen,
As a detriment to standards kept...
That has begun to threaten values,
Being questioned by the youth...
Graduating with degrees of higher learning,
With no where to apply their lessons learned.
As those who just make up stuff,
Are making themselves more credible.

With this new album, I prepared for it a long time, and I was happy with the songs and the production. I felt that I proved myself with the first album, and with this new album, I just want to share some of my music. And that was always my feeling and my intention.

The Way I Am
This song was first released on the its about time album. it is the only album this song appears on. it only appears on the cd version of this album.
I love the ocean on a peaceful morning
I love the freedom of a single man
I love the woman who just drives me crazy
I just cant help it thats the way I am
I dont like war
I dont like politicians
Dont like the one who has an angry hand
I dont like guns
I dont like nuclear missiles
Dont like the one who doesnt give a damn
Its all right, its all right
We can make love, we can fight
Its all right, its all right
We can make love, we can fight
We can make love
I love the lord
I love the little people
I love the one who is a gentle man
I love the rivers in the rocky mountains
I just cant help it thats the way I am
Ive been to boston and Ive been to china
Ive been around the world and back again
Ive got a hunger that just keeps me running
I just cant help it thats the way I am
Its all right, its all right
We can make love, we can fight
Its all right, its all right
We can make love, we can fight
We can make love

I don't really think about what the subject of my next album will be. I just know that I'm going to make another album.
And I'm not a personality; otherwise I'd be coming out with an album, performing on MTV. All that stuff is possible and I can do that tomorrow. I just have no need.

I had no album title, and the album is like a journey in that it's a complete body of work. It's not just a couple of catchy songs and filler, so I felt that I needed to capture the essence of the album.

Rot Stuff
Sittin' here eatin' my heart out waitin'
Waitin' for this funeral to end
Dug up about a thousand graves lately
My tastes are what some might call
A little more then just off the wall
Lookin' for some rot stuff baby this evenin'
I need some rot stuff baby tonight
I want some rot stuff baby this evenin'
Gotta have some rot stuff
Gotta have your corpse tonight
Rot stuff
I need rot stuff
I want some rot stuff
Lookin' for a lover who's 6 feet under
Don' t want another night on my own
Wanna share my fetish with a cold blooded lover
Wanna bring a dead man back home
Gotta have some rot stuff baby this evenin'
I need some rot stuff baby tonight
I want some rot stuff baby this evenin'
Gotta have something cold
Gotta have something rotting under me tonight
I need rot stuff
Cold rot
Lookin' for cold rot
Rot, rot, rot, rot stuff
Rot, rot, rot
Rot, rot, rot, rot stuff
Rot, rot, rot
How's about some rot stuff baby this evenin'
I need some rot stuff baby tonight
Gimme a little rot stuff this evenin'
Rot stuff baby
Gonna need your corpse tonight
Rot stuff
I need something cold and rotting
Lookin' for some rot stuff
Wanna make love to a dead man tonight
Sittin' here eatin' my heart out
No more listening to this funeral march can I do
Won't waste another night or moment on my own
I've dug up about a hundred graves baby
I'm bound to find somebody as horny as I am tonight
Gonna have some rot stuff baby this evenin'
I need some rot stuff baby tonight
Lookin' for my rot stuff baby this evenin'
Need something cold and rotting under me baby
Gonna need your corpse tonight
Rot stuff
Rot stuff
Rot stuff
Rot stuff
Rot stuff
Rot, rot, rot, rot stuff
Rot, rot, rot
Rot, rot, rot stuff
Rot, rot, rot
How's about some rot stuff baby this evenin'
I need some rot stuff baby tonight
Lookin' for my rot stuff baby
Gonna need your corpse tonight
Rot stuff baby this evenin'
I want some rot stuff baby tonight (yeah)
Wanna have your rot stuff baby this evenin'
I want some rot stuff baby this evenin'
How about some rot stuff this evenin'

A sobering spirit in Lagen
Can be heard swearing 'Starving's a bargain!
But enough is enough

Then retreats, hunting bargains again.

Ruffled Up
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
This stuff that's got me ruffled up!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Because I'm tough enough.
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
This stuff that's got me ruffled up!
I'm gotta beat it.
Since I can't leave it.
To grieve over weeping.
And compare my pains.
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
This stuff that's got me ruffled up!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
This stuff that's got me ruffled up!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
That's got me ruffled up!
I've had it,
With this stuff.
Too many,
Suffer enough.
And too much stuff that corrupts...
Is,
Enough!
I've had it,
With this stuff.
Too many,
Suffer enough.
And too much stuff that corrupts...
Is,
Enough!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!
I'm gonna beat this stuff.
Yes!

Hard Day's Night was one of those great films that will never happen again to anyone in their lifetime. UA were in profit before we'd even finished shooting - The advance sales on the album - the film was out before the album was out was more than it cost UA to make the film.

People go back to the stuff that doesn't cost a lot of money and the stuff that you don't have to hand money to over and over again. Stuff that you get for free, stuff that your older brother gives you, stuff that you can get out of the local library.
