We have a great time on that show, and we enjoy one another's company on stage and off. And sitcoms don't have bad schedules. We started out working five days a week, but now we're down to three.

End Of The Week
I get out of work
And then I throw away all of my cares
I get out of work
And then I wash the week out my hair
Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday
Its hard as could be
But by old friday evening
Were free, were free, were free
End of the week
The weekend started
Been working so hard to play
End of the week
Its time to party
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Youre tasting freedom
No one to push you around
End of the week
And life has a reason
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Street are alive
You know everybodys going somewhere
You put on the slide
You gotta beat the crowd just everywhere
And all the music all the dancing
Get you so high
And all that sweet romancing
Oh my, oh my, oh my
End of the week
The weekend started
Working so hard to play
End of the week
Its time to party
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Feels good now
Feels good now
End of the week
End of the week
Its real good now
Real good now

Yeah, well when I first started working, it was $5 a show; it was probably a little higher by the time I got to my own show, but I remember that they put me under contract at $100 a week, which to me was really an astronomical price.

I'd had people say, ""You'll enjoy being famous for a week, and you'll never enjoy it again"". But I don't think I had that week. I may have been working and missed that moment.

I am looking forward to going to Dubai because it gives us an opportunity to interact with each other. We can sit and enjoy each other's company. We can go out for a walk without worrying about shooting schedules.

Happy Bonus Days
It's great to wake each morn,
Each day a new surprise,
The morning sun is shining
So open up your eyes.
Now that I am "sorta" old,
And my parts are quite rusty,
"Dear Lord" please give me a boost
So I can rise with safety.
Had my 39th birthday for the 44th time,
Enjoying a full time job,
Working 7 days a week 12 noon to 1 PM,
With an hour off for chow.
My lovely wife, Pat, and I will enjoy,
God's gift of bonus days in Heaven on Earth
Making living sweet in Calistoga,
With 54 candles on our Anniversary Cake.
Thanks, God, for our wonderful lives.

The story of my life in a poem
Poem of Meg's life,
Meg was brought up as she later found out,
Adopted by parents, but unsure how it came about;
She didn't sit up till 2 years of age, this is true,
And didn't start to talk till 5, so no how do you do.
She went to a special school from 7 yrs of age,
But had many problems walking, at that stage;
Went in a taxi, every Monday to Friday,
Had many a party there to celebrate her birthday.
Her mother brought up 3girls, with a disability too,
1 arm because of cancer, but she coped thru' and thru;
She took us girls to Sunday school each and every week,
And taught us to love God, to pray, and his truth to seek.
We lived in Dandenong, till I was 12 years of age,
But my sister wasn't there, she was nowhere at that stage;
We shifted to Gladstone in Queensland you know,
It's where Meg was baptized by immersion that is so.
At 16 She started teaching,2 - 6 years in Sunday school,
At 17 we shifted back, but then dad started to be cruel;
I celebrated my 21st, birthday, with a wonderful musical night,
It made friends and family happy, things were happy and bright.
My mum passed on to the Lord, and I shifted away from home,
For 4 yrs I lived in Glenroy, in a flat and on my own;
I was in THE Salvation Army, serving the Lord, each week,
Playing the organ and harp, teaching the youth, the Lord to seek.
I then shifted to ascot vale, then over to st albans to live,
Married a man with problems, and troubles to me he did give;
But 12 yrs of problems I'm free of it now, so thankyou,
To the Lord for release and strength, and that He's brought me thru'.
And then I started at Sunshine, in the band where I did play,
And sang and read the Word, helping in many a way;
THE Lord showed me time to learn more, so off to college I go,
To learn how to be a minister for Christ, and His way to show.
So now I'm 58 years of age, seeking to do right with the Lord,
It's great to preach and learn, but to understand His Word;
And I want to thankyou for coming to celebrate my special day,
Please enjoy yourselves and enjoy the meal, on this my 58th birthday.

The Shorter Week
I worked for fifty hours a week,
And someone said to me,
'Don't be a serf! Throw off your chains,
And show the world you're free!'
So I cut down my working hours
And found, upon the whole,
The leisure time I had to spare
Good for my body's carking care,
And better for my soul.
I worked for forty hours a week,
And someone said to me,
'Release your bonds, you shackled slave!
Show all the world you're free!'
So I reduced my working hours
And found in leisured lull,
The more I sought to play, the more
Amusement had become a bore,
And life was rather dull.
I worked for twenty hours a week,
And someone said to me
'Awake, you mutt! Snap out of it,
And show the world you're free!'
So I cut out my working hours
And found that joy had flit.
Upon black melancholia's brink,
I sometimes used to sit and think
And sometimes merely sit.
I worked for not one hour a week,
And someone said to me,
'You lazy coot! Arise and shine!
You call this being free?'
So I resolved I'd better far
Rejoin the toiling mob.
But when I rose and looked around,
To my intense digust I found
Someone had pinched my job.

MySelf
From the places I had been and rain that I felt
from the loneliness that conquer my soul leads to darkness,
yeah I did have friends,
I did have someone to share some
of my loneliness but why is it said
to be that my friends does wear mask
and the loneliness I own does not decrease
but increase
I did believe on them,
but as long as they haven't prove anything
as long as they haven't show me something
that belief starts to fade....
from the narrow path that
I had passed through from the fire on my soul
on the fear in my heart and a poison
on my brain that keeps telling me that I'm nobody.
No one understand me, they told me I'm weird but i just own some other beliefs that its really opposing or i mean my belief does have its own path and so as me... In this class i entered and so as previous ask them and me and the answers definitely the same
from the week I started I show nothing
the second week I show something
in the third week I show a lot of thing
in the fourth week i show nothing
again but as the second week passes
i will try and i will do show everything i got!
But the second week never came.

I started doing comedy because that was the only stage that I could find. It was the pure idea of being on stage. That was the only thing that interested me, along with learning the craft and working, and just being in productions with people.

Box
Box
by Ted L Glines
working working
no time to play
postpone your dreams
for another day
eternity waits
an endless stage
for your childish glee
or dreams of rage
children know
magickal places
dragons and elves
grins on their faces
but growing up
is serious stuff
put your childhood away
learn how to bluff
living by logic
from man-made books
kills your soul
under pious looks
an empty life
is something built
one day at a time
from fears and guilt
growing misuses
drown childhood gladness
replaced with abuses
of adult sadness
rushing your life
schedules and clocks
all of it ends
in a fancy box
going to heaven
or that place of screams
such an awful waste
for the soul with no dreams

All screwed up
I don't like schedules,
they ruin everything,
trying to take control
and interfere.
My friend thrives on them,
insists we arrive by them,
not a minute late
or else she'll scream.
I'm throwing all schedules
in the bin.
They can sit there
rotting, pining to be adhered to
Schedules aren't
a healthy way to live,
they make me
nervous, edgy, tense.
Where's the schedule?
It's in the bin
with the others,
all screwed up.

Schedules
I don't like schedules,
they interfere, control,
they grate.
My friend thrives on them,
insists we arrive by them,
never a minute late.
I don't like schedules
I bin them,
incinerate them.
There they can wait
pining to be adhered to
until they rot.
Schedules aren't nice.
not a healthy way
of life.
Where's the schedule?
It's all screwed up
with the others,
an unnecessary evil
man created
to destroy my peace.

The Beliebers have done some pretty crazy stuff. Last week, the night before I was due to do a show in Germany, four girls went into a dumpster so they could sneak into the building. They climbed in and hid. When the guys working on the truck started getting the garbage they found them straight away. It was crazy.

Fantastic friend
A good friend
For me
Friend is one
Whose intentions are transparent
And who behaves in a fashion
Not deviating dangerously
From my expectations
I have a friend
Matching well my above specifications
Who makes it clear to me
That he will never try to understand me
Any amount of my
Explaining him my stance
Has no meaning for him
He simply refuses to understand me
He will also not mince words while telling me
Please make no attempts
To make me understand
I am determined not to do that
This deportment of his
Is comfortable to me as
I enjoy accepting people as they are
With no great efforts made
To understand them
As it is my weighed belief that
I have not understood any thing so far
My great friend
Has also understood this
And demonstrates the confidence
That there will not be any time lost
In the fruitless unnecessary efforts of understanding
And so,
We, when stay together,
Enjoy the company of each other
And each second of our association
Is spent only to enjoy the presence of
A compatible companion to the other
With none posing to be leader of the situation
With none driving home a point
With no goals fixed
With no targets to be reached
Each second spent in his company is
Memorable and whenever I am left alone
I recall with pleasure
The painless pastime
I had with this great friend
On a previous occasion
Whenever he is with me
Each unit of time, say, second
Will stand before me
Ask me whether it can lapse
Leaving space for the
Next second
This great glamorous friend is
None other than my
Four year old grandson
