I asked a Burmese why women, after centuries of following their men, now walk ahead. He said there were many unexploded land mines since the war.

No Bombs Here
Gran said it isn't safe
to walk about the bombsites
Janice said
as you walked with her
off of Meadow Row
towards the bombed out sites
of WW11
there might be
unexploded bombs
she added
holding on to your shirt sleeve
there are no
unexploded bombs here
you said
to reassure
you paused midway
and stared back
to where the coal wharf stood
and coalmen went about their work
loading trucks and horse drawn carts
how do you know?
she asked
her hand gripping
your shirt sleeve tight
don't you trust me?
you said
turning your head
seeing her eyes wide
beneath her red beret
yes but maybe there could be
hidden beneath ground
you looked around
with hand above your brow
none I can see
you said
she released your sleeve
and touched your hand
her smooth skin
like soft silk
moved over yours
you mustn't tell Gran
she said
she's forbidden me
to go on sites
you sensed her pulse
tap along your palm
of course I won't
you said
and walked across
the bricks and rubble
and weeds between
even here
amidst the bombed out ruins
a touch of green.

Lets Hear It For Women
Lets hear it for women a huge hip hooray
They are the unsung heroines of today
We need them as leaders to educate men
With wise women as leaders less wars for to win
At the hands of men they have suffered for years
Lets hear it for women for the young and old dears
With wise women as leaders the World would stand to gain
Lets hear it for women i say it again,
To the women of the World my toasting glass i raise
Since tis time we did sing their overdue praise
For centuries and centuries by men they've been kept down
Make way for the women tis their turn for renown,
The mistresses, the spinsters, the mother and wives
Tis about time we celebrated their lives.

To The Land
To the land of bribes,
To the land of telephones,
To the land of corruptions,
To the land of trains,
To the land of shops,
To the land of thieves,
To the land of connections,
To the land of drugs,
To the land of trucks,
To the land of cats,
To the land of Banks,
To the land of dogs, To the land of footballers,
To the land of dragons,
To the land of hope,
To the land of ice-cream,
To the land of potatoes,
To the land of chocolates,
To the land of tomatoes,
To the land of apples,
To the land of coffee,
To the land of lights,
To the land of ships,
To the land of birds,
To the land of tigers,
To the land of carpets,
To the land of pillows,
To the land of lions,
TO the land of toys,
To the land of horses,
To the land of beds,
To the land of roses,
To the land of love,
To the land of passion,
To the land of romance;
I never new women do snore until i married one.

Bitter Harvest for Friend Corey
The seeds of death are planted by
men reckless of the consequence
They’re meant to kill the enemy.
But they can destroy innocence.
The warring factions have moved on.
Survivors try to till their land
convinced they’re safe that dangers gone.
They simply do not understand.
Land mines don’t differentiate
between a friend and enemy.
They have been armed and lie in wait
until exploding suddenly.
They are designed to kill and
and this they do impartially.
It’s difficult to name and blame
the authors of each tragedy.
There’s very little you can do
except donate towards the cause.
To pay the experts willing to
clear up the land mines left by wars.
This is your chance to show you
care enough to help financially.
We can provide the men who dare
disarm the land mines carefully
To let subsistence farmers farm
so they can feed their families
Without the constant fear of harm
from dangers which they cannot see.
And leave the children free to play
as children are entitled to.
We can all help in some small way
but only if we’re willing too.

Where Women Are
How could a country flourished,
where land is ignored?
How could a nation go ahead,
where women are insulted?
In our ancient land,
here every minute a woman
is being humiliated,
by perverts, motherhood
is stampede and embryo
if detected as being
girls soon is uprooted,
to make the world of men!
Alas! you, block-heads,
don't you know, who will
take the charge of earth,
if women turn extinct species?
Respect is the first word
for us which we claim
from you all, hey
you our world's
only earthly companion!

My Humble Request
please yourself my friend
i stop to make you walk ahead of me
you seem to follow me
and this i cannot do for another day
for i am a simple man
not even a monk that heads the
department of holiness
go ahead, walk ahead of me
for i will stop and rest awhile
to see the red rose
blooming on the mountainside.

Go Ahead On
(madeline bell / dusty springfield)
If youre gonna break my heart
Go ahead on
Guess you think youre kinda smart
Go ahead on
(well youve got another girl)
And youre having fun
(got her head in a whirl)
See what youve done
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
I said go ahead on
(go ahead on)
You never call me on the phone
Make me so sad
Sittin all alone
Feelin bad
(tired of being your fool)
cause you told me lies
(I cant take no more)
Of no alibi
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
For a little while
We had a good thing goin
Everything was peaches and cream
But the devil in you started showin
Do you understand now
What I mean?
You put me down
Every night
If you wanna be a clown
Thats all right
(when its all too late)
Then youll see
(shes done the same to you)
Like you did it to me
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
You put me down
Every night
If you wanna be a clown
Thats all right
(when its all too late)
Baby youll see
(shes done the same to you)
Like you did it to me
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
Git, git, git
(go ahead on)
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
Youd better pack your bag
(go ahead on)
Go ahead on
(go ahead on)
Bye, bye, bye
(go ahead on)
Go ahead on

Women & Men
When the ship runs out of ocean
And the vessel runs aground
Land's where we know the boat is found
Now there's nothing unexpected
About the water giving out
"land's" not a word we have to shout.
But there's something beside the shoreline
Moving across the beachhead
Coming up from the shipwreck
Making as if to say:
Women & men
Women & men
Women & men
Women & men
(women & men) bringing with them messages of love
And every where they go love will grow (love will grow)
(women & men) when you see the faces of the women
And the men, you too will know (you will know)
Women & men have crossed the ocean
They now begin to pour
Out from the boat and up the shore
Two by two they enter the jungle
And soon they number more
Three by three as well as four by four
Soon the stream of people gets wider
Then it becomes a river
River becomes an ocean
Carrying ships that bear
Women & men
Women & men
Women & men
Women & men

Sometimes
Sometimes I don't know what to do with myself.
Sometimes i want to be alone.
Sometimes I feel like I should push you away.
Just to see if you would go.
Sometimes I want you to leave
just to see if you like it more away...
Sometimes I wanna tell you everything,
but I don't want you to judge me.
Sometimes I wanna hold your hand,
but I'm scared you'll let mines go.
Sometimes I wanna tell you how much I like you..
But I'm afraid you wouldn't wanna know.
Sometimes I wanna treat you good,
but I'm afraid you'd take advantage,
sometimes I wanna give you all of me,
But I don't think you want the challenge
Sometimes I want you to be mines,
but I think you'd be better with someone else.
Sometimes I need you more then ever,
but I'm afraid to ask for help.
Sometimes I wanna call your phone,
but I'm afraid that you'd be busy.
Sometimes I wish you'd walk past,
but I'd assume that you'd just miss me.
Sometimes I wanna run to you
But I'm scared I wouldn't find you
Sometimes I wanna kiss you
But are you really mines to?
Sometimes I want you to believe in me
But I'm scared you'll doubt me
Sometimes I want you to stay
But I don't think you care about me.

Haram
War! !
Men against men and women against women;
And like 1147 in the land of your muse,
But, i can't stop hiding from you!
For, i really know your condition in the thick forest.
You are lost and,
You are yet to find your way home my sweet Haram!
But, try to watch the sign on the red light ahead of you;
So that, i can direct you to find your way back home.

Women, for centuries not having access to pornography and now unable to bear looking at the muck on the supermarket shelves, are astonished. Women do not believe that men believe what pornography says about women. But they do. From the worst to the best of them, they do.

Siren Of The Sea
Sea-
When the tide comes in
I will walk upon two feet
I will wander through the shallow waters
So we two can meet
When the tide goes out
I will join it in the sea
When the waves crash against the shore
Look upon them and remember me
Land-
I shall not walk upon the land
But I shall sing to you from the sea
The tune of the ocean
In such fluid melody
So jump into the water
And take me by the hand
Walk with me through the sea
For I cannot bear the land
Swim-
Walk into the waters
For that is where you will find me
Bathe with me in the ocean
And swim with me through the sea
For there you will always find me
The sea is my song
I will sing it to you as we swim
For this is where we belong
Walk-
I shall not walk upon dry land
Though two feet could be mine
My fins are what I am accustom to
And they suit me just fine
I will not walk upon dry land
For there I cannot be
So delve into the ocean
And you may swim with me

Why Women Wear Heels?
Women wear heels, fashion dictate.
Women wear heels to imitate.
Women wear heels to feel great.
Women wear heels to look taller.
Women wear heels, feet look smaller.
Sky high heels to look sexy.
To walk on heels, one can't be lazy.
To walk on heels, a balancing act.
To walk on heels, risks the back.
We need to walk the way of God
We need to walk the way of God, that is how I was taught,
Trusting Him every day, I see where the path, God has brought;
Sometimes up, sometimes so low, ahead of me, God does know,
So I will trust His guidance in my. Daily walk with Him you see!
Thank you Lord, Just keep on please, to guide me.
We need to go the way of prayer, thinking of others, who can't see,
That God's way is the right way to go, please help me, them to show;
They walk in darkness, not able to see the light ahead, it's true,
Just give me a vision of these folk Lord, just put them into view;
And open their hearts and minds, as I pray for them too.

Men are paltry fed
All women like men’s talks,
At least in one to one talks.
The bolder ones with them walk.
They blush in incidental touches.
They relish motive touches.
It is the end of it for women
Like pudding after feast.
It is the beginning for men
Like soup ahead of feast.
Men are left starving.

Girls vs. Women
Girls are insecure; Women are confident.
Girls dress trashy; Women dress classy.
Girls are students; Women are teachers.
Girls are listeners; Women are preachers.
Girls makes babies; Women raise babies.
Girls have sex; Women make love.
Girls are weak; Women are strong.
Girls fight; Women walk away.
Girls argue; Women speak.
Girls give in; Women compromise.
Girls envy. Women appreciate.
Girls give up. Women strive.
Girls look. Women see.
Girls take. Women give.
Girls follow; Women influence.

Women s Silence Awakened
(9/9/12)
For centuries they had to walk behind the man
Because men thought that they could not understand
Politics or the power of glory
That to them was just a story.
But women from the start, always knew
What was in their hearts.
In their hearts, and in the hearts of their men
They knew when to act like a lover
And when to be a friend.
When to keep quite and when to give an ear
Of this they had no fear.
They supported their men because of the
Love they had inside, and of that
They did not deny.
But in their hearts they knew it had to be
A two way street.
That they must support each other in
All their endeavors and failures in life.
This is what they do as husband and wife.
The more that time passed the more that
Women s silence awakened
It was awakened to voice their opinions
Thoughts, and emotions
Of this it had to be spoken.
Now women have most of the rights of men
And into every field they will defend
They realize that now they can show
That whatever man conceives, They will do - and do believe.
They may not get paid as much as men
But they will in the end.
