Awkward And Uncomfortable

Hello, my friends again.
Let me reintroduce the proper way.
First my name with a little more attitude and confidence.

Then let me crack a joke to break the ice.
The simplest one will suffice.
My shyness is a wire that need to be spliced.
When under such exposure can I keep my composure?
I just do not know.

But hello, my friends again.
Let me reintroduce the proper way.
First my name with a little more attitude and confidence.

Then let me fall apart right in front of everyone.
Let me share in my horror stories of what some would call life.
Some would ask the question but isn't it fun?
I would say yes but at times I just want to run.
Hide in a dark corner holding a sharp knife.
It's pointed and ready.
I'm so scared.
Feelings in rawness to bare.

But hello, my friends again.
Let me reintroduce the proper way.
First my name with a little more attitude and confidence.

They say practice makes perfect.
But of that paraphrase I feel so deserted.
No matter how many times I try one is just as awkward as the next.
It gets me all anxious and upset.
What if i do it wrong?
Worst yet if I do it exactly right and this one girl gets turned on?
What if she one of those that expects something a lonely soul like me can never give?
As things perpetuate at a steady pace it gets harder and harder to say no.

But hello, my friends again.
Let me reintroduce the proper way.
First my name with a little more attitude and confidence.

Confidence

(words & music by tepper - bennett)
When everyone thought the world was flat
Columbus said its round
He went down in history
And america was found
cause
He had confidence
A little thing called confidence
Theres no job too immense when youve got
Confidence
With a c and an o and an n and an f
And an I and a d and an ence
Put em all together and what have you got
Confidence
Youll be surprised what you can do
If you will only try
Remember the tortoise and the hare
Who had that famous race
The speedy hare wound up nowhere
And slow poke took first place
cause
He had confidence
A little thing called confidence
Theres no job too immense when youve got
Confidence
Youll be surprised what you can do
If you will only try
How do you know that you cant ride a rainbow in the sky
Youll be surprised what you can do
If you will only try
All you need is confidence
A little thing called confidence
Theres no job too immense when youve got
Confidence
With a c and an o and an n and an f
And an I and a d and an ence
Put em all together and what have you got
Confidence
Confi ..... confi .... confidence

Underlying the whole scheme of civilization is the confidence men have in each other, confidence in their integrity, confidence in their honesty, confidence in their future.

Be it a potted pant

One may draw confidence
From the robe or crown he wears.
One may draw confidence
From the skin he possesses.
One may boast with confidence
From the connection he has.

Confidence grows to pride,
Pride, to conceit and conceit,
To vanity or atrocity.
Be confidence a potted plant.

Confidence | Words of Wisdom

Don’t mistake power for confidence
You’ll never never like how it ends
Take your stance and understand
Confidence is the greatest tool
Confidence is power that’s my first rule

Now weapons aren’t that sharp even from the start
But confidence is evident etched with in your brain
Confidence is sharper than any razor blade
Individuality is a packaged deal
You’ve got to trust yourself and know yourself for real

Now trying to control ain’t gonna work
Power is a tool that’s broke
Too much effort, too much mess,
Leaving a trail of broken heart and broken glass
So there’s my proof I say it with confidence

'If you have no confidence in self,
you are twice defeated in the race of life.
With confidence,
you have won even before you have started.'

grinning with

The unhappy legacies of authoritarianism can be removed only if the concept of absolute power as the basis of government is replaced by the concept of confidence as the mainspring of political authority: the confidence of the people in their right and ability to decide the destiny of their nation, mutual confidence between the people and their leaders and, most important of all, confidence in the principles of justice, liberty and human rights.

Beauty is the ego’s food

Women, you don’t mind time and money,
In a bid to look good as long as you could,
And spend more on skin than for belly Why?

It gives you self-confidence.
You are in command of men.
Confidence brings you beauty.
Beauty brings you confidence
Both bring you youthfulness.Carry on.

Confidence

Cofidence is..
Inset Sun
Never to vanish
Enlivened is...
Body, mind, soul
Inset

Confidence is
Seed..sow
In self, life
Escalated, fruited
Tasty is..
Self, life

Confidence
In God..
Aware
Of strength limitless
Confidence
In others..
Beware
Of extent, limit

Confidence

Men, who man the machines
Repose confidence in them
Which they should
To a limit
Which be ascertained by inner self
Confidence when bursts the seams
Leads to inevitable
Which
Becomes evitable with bursting seams
Paradoxically
No confidence reposed on man
Who can respond
If not for evitable
Can avoid the inevitable.

Confidence

Not easily refined or defined,
Is confidence.
Nor is it cropped to pluck,
Off from a Sun drenched vine.
To slowly savor for the flavor.

Confidence is a development.
A work in progess.
Not recited from studied print.
Nor listening as lectured...
From a podium will convince,
The taking of notes...
Will provoke it into existence.

Confidence,
Similar to experience...
Is something done,
That is seldom pleasant...
When it comes as a personal delivery.
And...
Most times arrogance is misrepresented for it.

However,
It does take obedience and strength to listen.
To then comprehend that failure does not mean to stop,
To yield and repeat flops.
As a sign that ambition obtained has been dropped.
No,
It does not!

Caution perhaps,
To proceed at your own risk.
But confidence does not allow obstacles to prevent,
Progress.
Or the jumping over hurdles.
Since each hurdle cleared...
Removes the fear to face another.

Clarifying anyone's doubt about confidence adopted!
