Middle East
In my Promised Land
In the Middle East
What will we do about terrorism?
In my Promised Land
In the Middle East
What can we do about fanaticism?
You and I on parallel lines
You and I, we are the key
Dreams are not enough
To lead and guide us
To peace
In the Middle East
Oh, oh, oh...
In the Middle East
Oh, oh, oh...
Desire for peace
Such yearning for peace
Does your country do
What you believe in?
In my Land there is war
And we're losing our soul
And ideology
Is losing meaning
You and I on parallel lines
You and I, when can we meet?
Dreams are not enough
To lead and guide us
To peace
In the Middle East
Oh, oh, oh...
In the Middle East
Oh, oh, oh...

Oh, oh, oh...
In the Middle East
Flare lights, flowers, mothers, fathers,
Homeland, green fields and tears
Borders, rivers, desert, Dead Sea
We are the key

Homeland, green fields and tears
Borders, rivers, desert, Dead Sea
When can we meet?

Our heroes are fighting to bring stability to the Middle East, and they have put pressure on all of the tyrannies of the Middle East. They have taken a stand against tyranny, against terrorists, and for the prospect of decent societies throughout that region.

God's Uplifted Hand
For most of Her history, by many nations Israel has truly been hated,
Sure it looks bleak, but the will of The Lord will not be frustrated.
For this little tiny nation in the Middle East is not just any land,
This is the very land promised by God to the descendants of Abraham.
And God promised to bless and or curse those that bless or curse you,
This is something that God has always done and will continue to do.
Israel is so special to God that in the Bible God calls Her His Wife,
This special endearment through the years has caused Her much strife.
But after being delivered from Egypt, their faith gave way to fears,
This is the reason that they wandered in the desert for forty years.
After all the faithless died in the desert, The Lord again drew near,
And after The Lord defeated two kings, the nations shook with fear.
After Moses had died the leadership was passed to Joshua with Caleb,
For these are the two men who did not cower and were allowed to live.
Now Joshua was used in a mighty way, following God's Uplifted Hand,
And three days later Joshua began the capture of God's Promised Land.
In five years Joshua captured much of the land through God's means,
Later some of the land still to be taken was that of the Philistines.
Now three thousand years later the Philistines are back in the land,
However God will redeem all of Israel with His own Uplifted Hand.

Hymn 49
The works of Moses and the Lamb.
Rev. 15:3.
How strong thine arm is, mighty God!
Who would not fear thy name?
Jesus, how sweet thy graces are!
Who would not love the Lamb?
He has done more than Moses did,
Our Prophet and our King;
From bonds of hell he freed our souls,
And taught our lips to sing.
In the Red Sea, by Moses' hand,
Th' Egyptian host was drowned;
But his own blood hides all our sins,
And guilt no more is found.
When through the desert Isr'el went,
With manna they were fed:
Our Lord invites us to his flesh,
And calls it living bread.
Moses beheld the promised land,
Yet never reached the place;
But Christ shall bring his followers home,
To see his Father's face.
Then shall our love and joy be full,
And feel a warmer flame;
And sweeter voices tune the song
Of Moses and the Lamb.

Peace In Ireland And The Middle East
The Middle East is like Ireland in many many ways,
Each side totally committed to their own religious days,
Therefore in a way, it’s god that’s causing the problems over there,
One of the reason why their peace negotiations can go nowhere.
If we could get rid of all religions even just for a few years,
I know this would not be as easy as it appears here,
Because religious types don’t want to loose their place up front,
Therefore those in Ireland and the Middle East will confront.
Close down all mosques, churches and synagogues on a given date,
This no doubt would make it easier to have an honest debate,
Can you imagine the row and conflict that this alone might cause?
As they bring out the old books full of ancient religious laws.

Pie In The Sky
It takes photon power
And eight minutes of an hour
To make it to our sun
And I know it sounds weird
But itll take you four years
To make the next one
Expanding border
Thats the sauce
Of chaos
And thats an order
Thats an order
So stomp your feet
And clap your hands
Get out of your seat
And do a little dance
Lift up your voice
And sing with glee
Now listen carefully to me
Desert your quarters
Behold the pie in the sky
And thats an order
Thats an order
Thats an order [7x]

Out Of Bondage
Delivered out of many years of bondage and given a brand new start,
All they had to do was follow Moses and trust God's unchanging heart.
From the bondage through Moses lead they were given complete relief,
But some never saw The Land because of hardened hearts of unbelief.
Forgetting that Moses was on Sinai speaking to God on their behalf,
The Israelites complained they had no God so Aaron made a gold calf.
Angered by their faithlessness God wanted to destroy them that day,
But Moses pleaded for the people and God allowed a remnant to stay.
The people continued to complain to Moses almost every single day,
So God wouldn't stay with them for fear He'd destroy them on the way.
When being lead along the Red Sea many simply complained and cried,
So The Lord sent venomous snakes among them and many of them died,
But when the people went to Moses and acknowledged that they sinned,
He put a snake on a pole and all who looked to the snake would live.
Their rebellion had angered God so much when they surveyed the land,
That most of Israel was judged by His Mighty Righteous Uplifted Hand.
For 40 years they wandered in the desert because of their wicked sin,
And only those under the age of 20 with Joshua and Caleb entered in.
Will you friend stay on the straight path that God allowed to start?
Or will you have your journey shortened by a sinful rebellious heart?
Desert Plains
Full moon is rising
The sky is black
I need your call Im coming back
The road is straight cast
Winds in my eyes
The engine roars between my thighs
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love
Wild mountain thunder
Echoes my quest
My body aches but Ill not rest
Quartz light to guide me
Till sunrise leads
My passion screams, my heart it bleeds
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love
Then in the distance
I see you stand
On the horizon you raise your hand
In burning rubber
I end my quest
You fall into my arms at last
From desert plains I bring you love
From desert plains I bring you love

No one wants to abandon the Israelis. But I think the perception is, and I think it's probably an accurate perception, that the tail is leading the dog - that we are giving the Israelis carte blanche ability to exercise whatever they want to do in their area.

Therefore, the question is not whether such democratization is possible, but instead how to meet the yearning of the masses in the Middle East for democracy; in other words, how to achieve democratization in the Middle East.

Traffic Jam
Carbon monoxide
Making me choke
No a.c.
And the radios broke
Cars backed up
Far as you can see
Seems like Ive been waiting here for all eternity
Oh, and just in case youre wondering
Ill tell you where I am
Im right here (right here) right here (right here)
Stuck right here in the middle of this...
Traffic jam
I havent moved one inch from this here spot
Traffic jam
The freeways one big parking lot
Traffic jam
My radiators boiling hot
And Im stuck right here in the middle (right here in the middle)
Right here in the middle of a traffic jam
Trapped inside
My automobile
Cobwebs gowin
On the steerin wheel
Now, Im no genius
But one thing I know
I shouldnt have had that bag of bran muffins
An hour and a half ago
Yeah, and if you need to find me
Ill tell you where I am
Im right here (right here) right here (right here)
Stuck smack dab in the middle of this...
Traffic jam
I havent moved one inch from this here spot
Traffic jam
The freeways one big parking lot
Traffic jam
Well, I thought we were movin but I guess were not
cause Im stuck right here in the middle (right here in the middle)
Right here in the middle of a traffic jam
Stuck in the middle of a traffic jam
Yeah yeah yeah yeah
Bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper to
Bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper to
Bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper...
Yay-hey!
Theres a yuppie on a cellular phone
Im gonna puke if I here any more
Theres a motorcycle zoomin by me
Watch what happens when I open my door
Now were all goin nowhere fast
Well, I guess thats perfectly clear
I left home five hours ago
And I can still see my house from here
So if anybodys tryin to find me
Well, Ill tell you where I am
Right here (right here) right here (right here)
Stuck right here in the middle of this...
Traffic jam
I havent moved one inch from this here spot
Traffic jam
The freeways one big parking lot
Traffic jam
Now my back teeth are floatin and my nerves are shot
And Im stuck right here in the middle (right here in the middle)
Stuck right here in the middle of a traffic jam
Traffic jam... traffic jam... traffic jam... woo!

Go East, Young Man
(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
Im gonna go where the desert sun is
Go where I know the fun is
Go where the harem girls dance
Go where theres love and romance
Out on the burning sands, in some caravan
Ill find adventure, while I can
To say the least, go on, go east young man
Go east young man, go east young man
Youll feel like a sheik, so rich and grand
With dancing girls at your command
Go eat and drink and feast, go east young man
Im gonna go where the nights enchanted
Go where those dreams are granted
When paradise starts calling, into some tent Im crawling
I hear those desert drums, and when nighttime comes
Then Ill make love the way I planned
To say the least, go on, go east young man
Go east young man, go east young man
Youll feel like a sheik, so rich and grand
With dancing girls at your command
Go eat and drink and feast, go east young man
Go eat and drink and feast, go east young man

Moses
My dog Moses never supposes
All that he knows is he loves me.
nothing additional
All unconditional
Guns or roses
wet or dry nose, is
Always a friend;
he helps my heart mend.
my dog Moses quite often poses
Lead in mouth, his intention is clear
walking through showers
Talking for hours
His 'Winalot' awaits as does my beer.
Content to hear my voice
Total love without choice.
My dog Moses quite simply chose his
Master who blows his chances in life
At the home for stray mutts
No ifs, and no buts
The love in his eyes
Set a match to my strife.
Always there camped by my chair
Asking nothing of me
But a tickled tummy
Waiting outside Sainsbury's
As i rush before it closes
Whimpering, pining pains are his
My dearest friend, old Moses.

One of my problems, so to speak, is that, in America, we tend to thing in relatively short-term. In the Middle East and Asia and other parts of the world, they think in terms of centuries or 500 years or 1,000 years.

Where is Moses
The ghetto streets are filled with lost souls.
They walk the night with no one to guide them.
Now as I watch a flame burn from a garbage can
I got but one question where is Moses?
Where is Moses to lead all these lost souls to the promise land?
Where is Moses so that he may reach his staff out and part
the sea of bullets that fly through the sky?
Where is Moses so that he may preach to masses
and tell them worship not that idle God known as a crack pipe,
but worship Jesus?
Is Moses some where sitting on a mountain writing
his next top ten rap song?
I know God would never forsake any of his children
but Lord we need guidance. So where is Moses?
