You know it's very difficult to be an actor, and to have people depending on you to say the right line, at the right time, and to not be able to hear your cues! I can't tell you how many times I would've had to have said What? if I didn't have my hearing aids. So my hearing aids are a life saver, and they allow me to practice my craft.

The hearing aids are very helpful for speech reading. Without the hearing aids, my voice becomes very loud, and I cannot control the quality of my voice.

It's not really that I've been an advocate for hearing aids for a long time, it's just that I've been losing my hearing for a long time! So it's actually very important for me because I'm actually hearing impaired and I simply want to hear better!

I'm not really religious but very spiritual. I give money to this company that manufactures hearing aids on a regular basis. More people should really hear me sing. I have a gift from God.

Rush Hour
ush hour
and the day's dawning
the rain came
and pushed me under the awning
the puddles grew and threw themselves at me
with every passing car
I'm shielding my guitar
and there were some things that I
did not tell him
there were certain things
he did not need to know
and there were some days
when I did not love him
he didn't understand me
and I don't know why
I didn't go
he said change the channel
I've got problems of my own
I'm so sick of hearing about drugs
and aids
and people without homes
and I said

Wondrous Stories
I awoke this morning
Love laid me down by a river.
Drifting I turned on upstream
Bound for my forgiver.
In the giving of my eyes to see your face.
Sound did silence me
Leaving no trace.
I beg to leave, to hear your wonderous stories.
Beg to hear your wonderous stories.
He spoke of lands not far
Or lands they were in his mind.
Of fusion captured high
Where reason captured his time.
In no time at all he took me to the gate.
In haste I quickly checked the time.
If I was late I had to leave to hear your wonderous stories.
Had to hear your wonderous stories.
Hearing
Hearing
Hearing your wonderous stories.
Hearing your wonderous stories.
It is no lie I can see deeply into the future.
Imagine everything
Youre close
And were you there to stand
So cautiously at first and then so high.
As he spoke my spirit climbed into the sky.
I bid it to return
To hear your wonderous stories.
Return to hear your wonderous stories.

Aids
Often we are faced with that temptation
Of discharging on a stranger our sexual frustration
But prevention is better than redemption
Fantasy functions safer as it is than when put into action
First kisses, pecks and a tease on the neck
Aroused with a natural instinctive reflex
You ignore the condom! Which keeps diseases in check?
Injected later with sex you vex after infected by sex
Specs of the after effects are about to make your life complex
AIDS: Aimlessly injected deadly sex
AIDS: Annoying irritating diseased sex
AIDS: Artificial induced death served
AIDS: An invading dying shock
Your primitive rod was itching!
Her unseen clitoris ever so bewitching!
Therefore you denied yourself self control!
From wittingly falling into the forbidden dark hole
Whilst your desire fed upon a slow burning fire
Switch back; relax as your joy fades
You finally got laid and now you feel betrayed
By the aids mermaid who had you outplayed
Condom could have made the rightful blockade!
AIDS: Absolute incurable delayed sickness!
AIDS: Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome

Only 25
Today I was thinking of my cousin he was only 25 when he died.
His life was over before it even really got to start.
You see, in a moment of passion he didn't wear a condom.
And in that moment he contracted AIDS.
He lived for seven more years and then one day he just died.
He was only 25.
Note: This poem was not just a tribute to my cousin but a message to the young and old please don't let my cousin and millions of others death be for nothing. In that moment stop for a moment and put on a condom. Sex doesn’t kill people but AIDS do! !
Political Assassination Publically Justified
“Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears”
such emotionally charged rhetoric written in iambic
pentameter; reminds of times without hearing aids
when microphone television did not aid cause politic.
Yes Antony here plays mocking Brutus, saying that
maybe his speech was too 'cerebral' for the crowd.
Let us not beat around the bush in politics agendaed
politic proclaim “So are they all, all honourable men”.
A portion of the speech 'But Brutus was an honourable
man' is referenced in an opening scene of the West Wing;
which reminds of honourable times without hearing aids
when microphone television did not edit amplify a plot.
“O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason. Bear with me; ”
recall words 'Enemies Foreign and Domestic'
remind in war on terror of threatening all abodes.
Brutus too had previously delivered politic speech,
in which Brutus proud claimed that the murder had;
been done in name of public freedom clever speech,
evil lives while good is oft interred with slain bones.
The opening quotation of this poem is the famous first line of the often-quoted speech by Mark Antony, in the play Julius Caesar, by William Shakespeare. The first three words fit into the rule of three technique.
The second quotation also alludes to the theme of a speaker and the power of a good speech to convince an audience of a specific political point of view. Note the turn of the word honourable to mean dishonourable in Mark Anthony’s speech and beware those who speak of us as Honourable Friends.

Hearts
Hearing - talking - yes I - love you
Set your heart sail on the river
Look around you as you drift downstream hearing
Pouring souls into the ocean talking
Take account of all youve seen love you
One people - together
Freedom for today
So easy the future
So see the childrens way
Love me
Teach me
Know me
One people - together
Freedom for today
Tomorrow forever
So see the peoples way
Many moons cascade one river
They light from side to side
As we cross in close proximity
Like rivers our hearts entwine
How we talk - how we teach our children
How we move - we direct our eyes
All the senses tuned discovery
As and as and when our hearts decide
Be ready now - be ye circle
Be the central force ye life
As the game extends the cycle
Be ready to move
One hearts for love hearts
Ones for giving sailing down the river
Two hearts are better hearts
Than one throwing out a line
I hearing it hearts
I living it
I believe in it sharing out your fortunes
Two hearts are better hearts
Than one in and out of time
Hearing - talking - yes I - love you
One hearts for love hearts
Ones for giving sailing down the river

Than one throwing out a line

I living it
I believe in it sharing out your fortunes

Than one in and out of time
Who would believe you - wise men do
Days that we knew it clear with you
You sing the answers question time
Now it you need me let our hearts entwine
Let our hearts entwine
Hearts - sailing down the river
Hearts - throwing out a line
I hearing it - I living it - I believe in it - I loving it

One hearts for love hearts
Ones for giving sailing down the river
