Leaders who win the respect of others are the ones who deliver more than they promise, not the ones who promise more than they can deliver.

Deliver Me

Deliver me from darkness.
Deliver me from pain.
Deliver me from loneliness
and let love remain.

Deliver me from blindness.
Deliver me from chains.
Deliver me from unhappiness
and let drops of rain

Shower me with acceptance,
Shower me with song,
Shower me with goodness.
Deliver me from wrong.

Deliver Me

deliver me...
from the fury, the noise,
and the roar of the wheel...
deliver me...
from my own insecurities,
my unconscious greed,
and my self driven fears.
deliver me...
from my conceptual understanding,
my limited knowledge,
and my worship of knowledge.
deliver me...
from all anger and hatred
in whatever disguise...
deliver me...
from being driven by
mouth and stomach unchecked,
from what i think i need.
deliver me..
from my countless mistakes,
and the excuses i make!
deliver me...
from any kind of pride
that closes the open hand!
deliver me...
from any sense of self
that would seperate and divide.
deliver me...
from laziness and tiredness,
from bitterness and lonliness.
deliver me...
from all forms of apathy,
and the want to possess...
deliver me...
and bring me to realize myself!

I'll Do My Best To Deliver

Ask me for what you want.
Just ask me,
Ask me.
And make it anything,
You need...
From me.

Ask me for what you want.
Ask me for what you need,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.

Ask me for what you want.
Just ask me.
Ask me.
Ask me for anything,
And I will fullfill...
That need.

Ask me for what you want.
Ask me for what you need,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.

Oh ask me for what you want.
Ask me for what you need,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I will do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I will do my best to deliver.

Just ask me for what you want.
Just ask me for what you need,
And I will do my best to deliver.

Come thunderstorms, rain or shine...
That pressure you have will be taken right off your mind.
I will do my best to deliver.
Just ask me...
Ask me,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.

Come thunderstorms, rain or shine.
That pressure you have will be taken right off your mind.
And I will do my best to deliver.
Just ask me...
Ask me,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Just ask me...
Ask me,
And I will do my best to deliver.

Devotion

If I am right
If I can be
Constant and faithful
Youll find me
In my devotion
In my devotion
What if you find a fault
Between my purpose and my deeds
And deem me beyond salvation
Judge me to be unworthy
Of your devotion
Of your devotion
If this be obsession deliver me
A passing infatuation deliver me
A feeling lacking in purity deliver me
A test of fidelity deliver me
Deliver me
Deliver me
What if I should find
Youre no good for me
What if I cant be strong enough
What if I cant break free
Of my devotion
Of my devotion

A Knowing Of An End Result Produced

I am not here,
With a wish to deliver.
I am here,
Because I can deliver.
There is a huge difference between,
Wanting to do and a doing to be done.
With a knowing of a coming end result,
Produced! And, not held up in discussion.

I am not here,
With a wish to deliver.
I am here,
Because I can deliver.
And I've been called a 'mother--'
On many occasions.
And strangely enough,
By those caring less how long I spent in labor.

For A Girl

For a girl who would always say the truth I promise I will never lie...
For a girl who would trust me completely I promise I will never cheat on her...
For a girl who accepts me as the way I am I promise I will hold on her forever...
For a girl who would treat my parents as her own I promise I will respect her parents too...
For a girl who would care me like her child I promise I would love her like my mother...
For a girl who would be there in my sorrow I promise I will give her all my happiness...
For a girl who wouldn't see other men I promise she would be only girl of my life...
For a girl who would love me unconditionally I promise I would be the man she wants to be...

With A Thawing Done That Has No Guarantee

You want to show and deliver to me a cold shoulder?
Go right ahead.
I can reveal to you someone,
Who will shut you off into a permanent freeze.
Dare me.

After I've shown you unconditional love?

You want to show and deliver to me a cold shoulder?
Go right ahead.
I can reveal to you someone,
Who will shut you off into a permanent freeze.
Dare me.

With a thawing done that has no guarantee.

You want to show and deliver to me a cold shoulder?
Go right ahead.
It is obvious you do not know me.
Or the life I've lived to feel I have that right...
To serve to you buckets of ice cubes,
Day and night for the rest of your life!

You want to show and deliver to me a cold shoulder?
Go right ahead.
The freezing done I do,
Will be remembered by you.
And that's not a threat!
It's a promise I will give to you to keep!
I seek from you a dare.

The History Of Tomorrow

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of light
By dumping us in the dark with pits everywhere

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of food
By asking us to chop several fire-woods to heat up a pot full of stones

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of job creation
By making us slaves on our own soil

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of education
By dumping us in dilapidated buildings without teachers

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of accountability
By looting our treasury and asking us for yet another term in office

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of safety
By leaving pot holes large enough to swallow countless accident victims on our roads

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our bows and arrows
Would secure our future

I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of a country, a country with countless heroes
It’s the history of a country, a country with countless robbers
Robbers with fame
Robbers without shame
Robbers that we would roast with flame

Tomorrow’s history is today. All world leaders must make real democracy work. They must be selfless. We must not wait until there is horror and terror before we learn. Nigerian leaders must shun CORRUPTION.

I Promise

I won't run away no more, I promise
Even when I get bored, I promise
Even when you lock me out, I promise
I say my prayers every night, I promise
I don't wish that I'm strict, I promise
The tantrums and the chilling chats, I promise
Even when the ship is wrecked, I promise
Tie me to the rotten deck, I promise
I won't fool around no more, I promise
Even when I get bored, I promise
Even when you lock me out, I promise
I say my prayers every night, I promise
I won't fool around no more, I promise

I Promise You

i would walk through the moon and the sun just to be with you i promise.
I promise to be there for you in all of your times of joy and sorrow.
I promise to climb the highest mountain and swim the deapest ocean for you alone.I promise to make a new memory with you each and every day with you.I Promise to cry a million tears and walk a million miles to be with you.I promise to live and care for you without change.I promise to do anything for you just to see the beauty of your ravishing smile.I promise to find a new way to see fires of passion burning.I would buy a thousand rose for you just to se you smile i promise.I promise to be the best dad to our children.I will laugh with you, i will fight with you, i will share the same breath with you i promise.I promise never to steal, lie, or cheat. But if i'll steal, i promise to steal away your sorrows. And if i'll lie, i promise to lie with you all thd nights of my life. And if i'll cheat, i promise to cheat your death, because i couldn't live a day without you.I promise you.

It's A Promise

When I get up in the morning and see first light
I remember it's a promise
When the sun begins to set with color
I remember it's a promise
When I stare up in the darkest night, and see brightest moonlight
I remember it's a promise
When a ray of light slices the clouds and it's pure
I remember it's a promise
When I see the majestic forest of green tree
I remember it's a promise
When I see the blue ocean
I remember it's a promise
When I see the sparkle of a star or the shining of the sun
I remember it's a promise
If I look into the stars and see a galaxy
I remember it's a promise
Somehow everything will be fine like the world around me
Because in everything there's a promise
And when a promise is bound by unfailing love
It can't be broken
That's a promise.

Please Be The One

(gary burr, sunny russ)
This desert lies
Its so unfair
I think theres water everywhere
Im always fooled
Just when I think Im saved
But I dont have the strength
To do again
What always comes undone
Deliver me
Please be the one
Ive thought I wasted all those prayers
Till I looked up and you were there
Oh in your eyes
I see theres hope for me
I need your love
To finish off
What others have begun
Deliver me
Please be the one
Be the one who makes me see
Be wonderful a reason
Be the one who rescues me
With a love I can believe in
Let it be true
That you can do
What no one else has done
Deliver me
Please be the one
Oh deliver me
Please be the one

Do Promise Me

If you wanna feel a poem,
I'll compose with rhythm.
But, do promise me
You'll pay respect to poetry.

If you wanna get gratify,
I'll indulge every time.
But, do promise me
You'll never be bossy.

If you wanna take the fame,
I'll share with my brain.
But, do promise me
You'll have worship worthy.

If you wanna own my love,
I'll present with my heart.
But, do promise me
You'll use it sincerely.

If you wanna belong to my life,
I'll offer with all my might.
But, do promise me
You'll be in my chest eternally.

Promise

I promise to love and guide you
Respect and cherish you
To the best of my ability
Your faithful friend
In all your good times
As well as bad
I promise to hold your hand
When you have fear
Like the moon
A guiding light
I promise to always be honest
And sincere
To wake you from your reverie
Pick you up when you fall
I promise to be you your friend till the end...

Deliver Me

Every woman and every man,
Knows the feeling so well
Those times when the heart just cant understand,
The times when you never can te ll
So deliver me, deliver me
Baby take this heart, set it free
Take this chance, take this dream
Baby take this heart
Deliver me
I was born with something down inside of me
And its carried me over, delivered me
Y eah delivered me, Im standing at your gate
Just out of reach of the hands of fate
So deliver me, deliver me
Baby take this heart, set it free
Take this chance, take this dream
Baby take this heart
Deliver me
Sometim es I wonder if this is worth the trouble
Sometimes I wonder if this is worth the fight
I never have made my mind up about it
Ive just decided to let it all ride

Change 'Premise' To 'Promise

The premise is there,
Based upon certain assumptions...
To us given.
Although the promise to deliver,
What had been expected is missing...
It would be in our best interest,
To conclude our investigation to be complete.

'But to move forward on a premise,
Leaves what is needed left circumstantial.'

There are the same letters in the word 'premise',
As there are in 'promise'.
Exchange the 'e' for the 'o'...
And no one would ever know the difference,
If the evidence is based upon circumstances...
That concludes our investigation.
Or if assumptions accepted as proof was used.

'So...
No one would ever know,
The evidence we have collected...
Is actually inconclusive? '

Look...
No one here is attempting to prove,
We are scholars or rocket scientists.
Change 'premise' to 'promise' and that's it!
There is no need to be bogged down,
With specifics and details.
This is not that kind of case.

The Promise

Promise me that you won't stop loving me.
No matter what the cost is.
Promise you won't runaway from me.
Just promise that you'll never make me cry.
Promise you won't die on me
And leave me alone in this cold world
Just promise me you'll be there.
