I feel bad about a lot of the movies I see that teach kids that if they do bad, they'll win.

One thing I always heard from the begining when I talked about this being a movie - was that the rule is that animated movies don't work unless they're Disney movies for kids. Unless they're family movies.

Everyones Gone To The Movies
Kids if you want some fun
Mr. lapage is your man
Hes always laughing, having fun
Showing his films in the den
Come on, come on
Soon you will be eighteen
I think you know what I mean
Dont tell your mama
Your daddy or mama
Theyll never know where you been
Chorus:
Everyones gone to the movies
Now were alone at last
Listen to what I say
He wants to show you the way
Right down the hallway with open arms
To teach you a new game to play
Come on, come on
Soon it will be too late
Bobbing for apples can wait
We know youre used to sixteen or more
Sorry we only have eight
Chorus
Kids if you want some fun
See what you never have seen
Take off your cheaters and sit right down
Start the projection machine
Chorus

Groovy Movies
Sometimes I think Im gonna better myself,
Searching for acceptance in this big, wide world.
Sometimes I think I wont make it,
Playing in a rock n roll band.
Sometimes I wanna be a picture director,
And try to make the world understand.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.
All the movie makers of the world would be,
Falling over backwards to have dinner with me.
Ill go down to [? ]
Anytime I feel like a game[? ].
Or take a long vacation to san tropez,
And think of all the money I made.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.
I dont want to be a producer,
I dont want to be a big star.
I just want to be a picture director,
And smoke a big havana cigar.
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies,
By making groovy movies.

Sad Movies
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
He said he had to work, so I went to the show alone.
They turned down the lights and turned the projector on.
And just as the news of the world started to begin,
I saw my darling and my best friend walking in.
Although I was sitting right there they didnn see me.
And so they both sat right down in the front of me.
And when he kissed her lips then I almost died.
And in the middle of the colour cartoon I started to cry.
Oh sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
And so I got on up and slowly I walked on home,
And mama saw the tears and said baby what is wrong.
And so just to keep from telling her a lie,
I just said sad movies makes me cry.
Oh sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry
Sad movies always make me cry

How To Train A Snake
How To Train A Snake
Date: August 22,2012
Teach me not to suffer, dear
To rise up from the fall
Teach me to feel the sunshine
And to understand the call
Teach my heart, to be as stone
Numbed against the sting
Teach me how to shed my skin
And never feel a thing
Teach me how to carry on
To close the open doors
Teach me to darken every page
And never yearn for more
Teach me all, you know so well
To search for prey, as you
Teach me how to slither by
Still smiling when I'm through

Teach Me To Dance
Im a boat without an ocean
Im a boat without a wave
Im a sail without a strong wind
And I want someone to save, to save me
Teach me to dance
Im a car without a driver
Im a plane without a wing
I see you standing by my doorway
But I dont know how to let you in
Teach me to dance
Ive been watching too much tv
I cant feel myself no more
Im tired of all those macho movies
That aint what this life is for
I dont want to hurt nobody
Just laughing, thats how I wanna be
cos when that brick goes through that window
It dont make nobody free
Teach me to dance

I spend a lot of time at my son's school and I really wanted to do a movie that the kids could see. The good thing about being my age and not having to be the ingenue anymore is that I get to be a mom. I get to have kids in my movies.

I have three kids who like Harry Potter so I was sort of aware of it. You can't really move from it: it's on buses, in stores, it's everywhere. One of my kids has read the books; the other two are too small but they like the movies.

Day & Night We Walk These Aisles
Day and night we walk these aisles
In the same old movie show
And look for someone to feel for a while.
Theres matinees on saturdays
When we sit in the velvet chairs
Popcorn boxes fly through the air.
Sad movies, they make you cry
Sad movies make you wonder why
You ever came.
Do something to me,
Dont make me wait
Stab something through me,
Dont cry out the good things
That I appreciate.
Day and night we walk these aisles
In the same old movie show
And look for someone to feel for a while
The lights go on, the movies gone
And the managers up there
He says he doesnt care
And we take our money back.
Sad movies, they make you cry
Sad movies make you wonder why
You ever came.

Movies these days have made killers into funny people. What's that all about? I've got kids and family and friends, and I don't like bad things. I don't think they're funny, and it's irresponsible to make movies that don't show you how that's not good.

In the 1950s we use to feel that television was taking away our comic readership; with today's exciting, powerfully visual movies I have to wonder about their effect on the kids' loyalty to the comic book medium all over again.
On the one hand, people think they own kids; they feel that they have the right to tell the kids what to do. On the other hand, people envy kids. We'd like to be kids our whole lives. Kids get to do what they do. They live on their instincts.

Student Teacher
I'm a student teacher
I love all my kids
Did'nt want to be a preacher
Like my daddy did
I go to work every day
Here at Jefferson school
I love it when we work and play
Man this place is cool
We teach whats wrong, we teach whats right
We teach the golden rule
We teach them songs and not to fight
At least not here at school
I am a student teacher
And yes I'm here to stay
I am the special feature
Of the teachings here today

We must know where our kids are at all the time
And protect them from danger
We must teach them not to talk to strangers
Joie de vivre
The kids are part of our family
We raise them from babies to adult
Sometimes we wish they would grow up fast
Sometimes we wish they never grew up
They do things that drive their parent crazy at times
Joie de vivre
It is important that they socialize with kids of their own age group
On the weekends it is time to get the family together
Dad’s drive there kids to soccer games
They cheer for there soccer team
When there soccer team wins it is a celebration
All the dad’s scream of joy
Dad’s are proud of there kids achievement
