A good story often increases the salability of an item without increasing its actual value.

Versus

With increasing
Age… wisdom
Increases or ego?

I think people
Will still
Forego their
Wisdom,
But never
Let go of
Their ego.

I see knowledge increasing and human power increasing. I see ever-increasing possibilities before life, And I see no limits set to it at all, Existence impresses me as a perpetual dawn. Our lives, as I apprehend, are great in expectations.

Transformation

I made a story that snatched away the transformation,
Its transmission fully solved that there was a light;
The flashlight of an age is like blood and guts,
Never does a story work more than boredom.

The conversation abruptly ceased due to old age,
This dialogue within was dice, so greater than age itself;
Looking this way the dice seemed to transform
Into a number of luck, the fortune was eventful.

This is a story of transformation and metamorphosis,
The actual store of knowledge is in the results of change.

An Explosion Of Emotion

What is love: tenderness, softly whispered
words, overcome with a sense of awe and
delight and joyous feelings spiralling deep
inside like a maelstrom increasing in power
yet also perfectly contained within the most
noble ideals & marvellous reverence - while
feeling affection - intertwined with electricity
magnetism and light in short - an explosion
of emotion -that increases in force as time
goes by and the distance covered is never
shortened by fading moments - every hour
leading to increasing ecstasy until slumber
claims the mind and heart just to renew the
power to repeat the performance and a new
jaunt on the stage of life with the applause
of invisible awareness accompanying our
every move augmenting the emotions to
create visual patterns expressing delight

Bookworm

There's a story that like a dessert I love
And I enjoy every page slowly as much as I can
There's story that makes me desperate
And even my day becomes gloomy after I read
There's story that safe to be read anytime
And I don't mind if it's going up or down
There's story that could burn me to the core
And left me with desire to create another story
There's story that easily predict
And I could finish it without much thinking
There's story that has a very good cliffhanger
And I need to rush to the publisher to make it comes fast
There's story that goes like my dream
And I want to repeat over and over until I'm getting bored

Arthur Eddington

For the truth of the conclusions of physical science, observation is the supreme Court of Appeal. It does not follow that every item which we confidently accept as physical knowledge has actually been certified by the Court our confidence is that it would be certified by the Court if it were submitted. But it does follow that every item of physical knowledge is of a form which might be submitted to the Court. It must be such that we can specify (although it may be impracticable to carry out) an observational procedure which would decide whether it is true or not. Clearly a statement cannot be tested by observation unless it is an assertion about the results of observation. Every item of physical knowledge must therefore be an assertion of what has been or would be the result of carrying out a specified observational procedure.

Shes Actual Size

Words fail
Buildings tumble
The ground opens wide
Light beams down from heaven
She stands before my eyes
Shes actual size, but she seems much bigger to me
Squares may look distant in her rear view mirror but theyre actual size
As she drives away
Big men
Often tremble
As they step aside
I thought I was big once
She changed my mind
Shes actual size, but she seems much bigger to me.
Ive never known anybody like her, shes actual size
Nationwide, believe
Shes got
All the money
Money couldnt buy
Shes got something special
That someone left behind
Shes actual size, but she seems much bigger to me
Squares may look distant in her rear view mirror but theyre actual size
Actual size to her
Her face
Hangs in portrait
On the post office wall
Shes stuck in my heart now
Where my blood belongs
Shes actual size, but she seems much bigger to me
Ive never known anybody like her, shes actual size
Actual size, believe

You think shes big, you think shes larger than life
But if you open up your eyes youll see shes actual size
You think shes big, you think shes larger than life
But if you open up your eyes youll see shes actual
In your mind you have her on a pedestal
You admire her from afar like shes a china doll
You need to realize
Before you ? ? ? ?
So go ahead, approach the girl, it up to you ? ? ? ?
You think shes big, you think shes larger than life
But if you open up your eyes youll see shes actual size
You think shes big, you think shes larger than life
But if you open up your eyes youll see shes actual

Once when I was in Hawaii, on the island of Kauai, I met a mysterious old stranger. He said he was about to die and wanted to tell someone about the treasure. I said, "Okay, as long as it's not a long story. Some of us have a plane to catch, you know." He stared telling his story, about the treasure and his life and all, and I thought "This story isn't too long." But then, he kept going, and I started thinking, "Uh-oh, this story is getting long." But then the story was over, and I said to myself "You know, that story wasn't too long after all." I forget what the story was about, but there was a good movie on the plane. It was a little long, though.

Why shouldn't poems...

…be hot out of a
news item – even if
it barely ranks as ‘poetry’ -
if it moves a would-be poet
more than many a poem…?

Here’s the story: Dr Jill Bolte Taylor,
who became a neuro-scientist because
her beloved brother was schizophrenic…
had an exceptional opportunity for research

when one morning a golf-ball-sized haemorrhage
in her left brain, gave her a stroke, which
she was able to observe as it happened…

becoming herself schizophrenic in a fashion,
so that one half of her brain said
this consciousness is boundless…
while the other half said, I’m me…

struggling to support one another as
for forty-five minutes, she tried
to find her office identity
in a blur of pixels that were a number
she must dial…

it took her eight observant years
to recover; now she tells the story,
(always herself, always as boundless
as her story):
some of us smiling through our tears, her tears,
her smiles..

maybe I could turn that into
more of a poem… but why?
Between these lines, between
she and me, I and you,
the boundless, too..

Tell Me A Story

Tell me a story that isn't gory
tell me a story that isn't fake
tell me a story where you made a mistake
tell me a story where the cows come home
tell me a story I want to know
tell me a story where the princess finds herself
not a prince who is more like an elf.
Tell me a story that I can laugh out loud
tell me a story where storm makes lighting clouds.
For in the end we only have our stories to tell
what make them funny, give them hell.
