I saw what looked like another fallen tree in front of me and put my foot on it to cross over. At that moment it reared up in front of me-the biggest python I had ever seen!

There Ya Go
Starting over again is a bit like dancing
You just need someone to lead and take it slow
So lay your head on my shoulder
Let me hold you close, that's it
There you go
There you go, you're doing fine
Take each day like a step, one at a time
Put one foot in front of the other
And the next thing you know
That's it
There you go
Every day is like a new beginning
One door opens, while another starts to close
But just slip your arms around me
Cause life's a dance, don't know
That's it
There you go
There you go, you're doing fine
Take each day like a step, one at a time
Put one foot in front of the other
And the next thing you know
That's it
There you go
I know how it feels to have your heart crossed
Like the wings of the butterfly
But you gotta try
So just hold on tight
Put one foot in front of the other
And the next thing you know
You're dancing
There you go
That's it
There you go

Right in Front of the Army
"Where 'ave you been this week or more,
'Aven't seen you about the war'?
Thought perhaps you was at the rear
Guarding the waggons." "What, us? No fear!
Where have we been? Why, bless my heart,
Where have we been since the bloomin' start?
Right in the front of the army,
Battling day and night!
Right in the front of the army
Teaching 'em how to fight!"
Every separate man you see,
Sapper, gunner, and C.I.V.,
Every one of 'em seems to be
Right in front of the army!
Most of the troops to the camp had gone,
When we met with a cow-gun toiling on;
And we said to the boys, as they walked her past,
"Well, thank goodness, you're here at last!"
"Here at last! Why, what d'yer mean?
Ain't we just where we've always been?
Right in the front of the army,
Battling day and night!
Right in the front of the army,
Teaching'em bow to fight!"
Correspondents and Vets in force,
Mounted foot and dismounted horse,
All of them were, as a matter of course,
Right in the front of the army.
Old Lord Roberts will have to mind
If ever the enemy get behind;
For they'll smash him up with a rear attack,
Because his army has got no back!
Think of the horrors that might befall
An army without any rear at all!
Right in the front of the army,
Battling day and night!
Right in the front of the army,
Teaching 'em how to fight!
Swede attaches and German counts,
Yeomen (known as De Wet's Remounts),
All of them were, by their own accounts,
Right in the front of the army!

I Don't Look Back
I was born to travel down blue highways
I never seem to learn much from my past
I don't make excuses for my mistakes
I take each day and I live it
Like it was my last
I don't look back
One foot in front of the other
On this one way track I don't look back
I live my life my way
I don't look back
I'm sure there's memories I've missed out on
There's been a couple of loves I've left behind
I haven't found a heart hat I can count on
But don't feel sorry for me
I ain't the lonesome kind
I don't look back
One foot in front of the other
On this one way track
I don't look back
I live my life my way
I don't look back
No I don't look back
I don't look back
One foot in front of the other
On this one way track
I don't look back
I live my life my way
I don't look back
I live my life my way
I don't look back
No I don't look back
No, no I don't look back
I don't look back

My Love In A Mirror
She stood there
looking at herself...
at the beauty God bestowed on her
in front of this mirror
I stood behind her, wrapping my soul around her
my dark brown arms against her pale skin,
covering her nakedness
in front of this mirror
Our bodies stirred, feeling the fire
remembering our lovemaking earlier,
and previous times we have stood here
in front of this mirror
Like this very moment, her eyes
arresting me, her soul possessing me,
the warmth of my body against hers
in front of this mirror

The human in front
Let’s we forget for a moment
That we have loved each other
And hated as well
Just look the human in front
Tired and confused
See, we forget the reason we stay together
Also the reason we fight so long
What’s left is this emotion
Hurt and grudge
And what we do is this useless
Cry and shout
So let’s we forget for a moment
That we have known each other
And think that nobody can do much better
Try to look again the human in front
Like the first time we met
Not from who start behaving like this
Or whose fault it is
You can say life must go on
Easy let then forget
But when we face the human in front
How could we avoid and deny that?

Up Front
(r. parker, jr.)
I wanna get it straight up front
Lets tell each other what we want
So we can both decide up front
If we like it or we dont
Just as long as Im single
Im gonna do what the heck I please
And I dnt feel its fair
For you to be restricting me
If you want a serious commitment
You gotta first make one yourself
If you want it one sided
Youd netter find somebody else
I wanna get it straight up front
Lets tell each other what we want
So we can both decide up front
If we like it or we dont
Now Ive been in relatioships
Where Ive given all of myself
I did everything for him
He did everyrthing for someone else
Now dont musuderstand me
Im not prejudging you
But if you plan to fool around
Let me know so I can do it too
I wanna get it straight up front
Lets tell each other what we want
So we can both decide up front
If we like it or we dont
Now I know everything cant be predicted
Because love dont work that way
But we can at least agree on the rules
Before we start to play
I wanna get it straight up front
Lets tell each other what we want
So we can both decide up front
If we like it or we dont

Down the seafront tonight - Pinewood Royal
Tall ships in the harbour
Waiting for a sailing far away
Stones across the water
Herring gulls drifting across the bay
Painted lady in the garden
The Blackcap sings from early dawn
The warm air slumbers
Soothing the Trevello Lawn
On the red cliffs of The Berry
The lighthouse shines till early dawn
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
We're going down to where the lights, the lights are shining bright
On the sea front you can see the rows of coloured lights
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
Just you and I
The bright lights sparkle
On the sea front walking by
The ice cream parlour
Fairground rides and coconut shy
Ocean going liners
Cabin lights blazing wave goodbye
White horses in the moonlight
Constellations across the sky
Red glow from leaded windows
A summer's evening in July
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
We're going down to where the lights, the lights are shining bright
On the sea front you can see the rows of coloured lights
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
We're going down
Down to the sea front tonight
Just you and I

In Front Of Me
It's hard to breathe, from underneath
Smothering in all your heat
It's hard to take, It's tough to break
So I don't make the same mistakes
The same mistake, (4x)
Out in the yard is where I play,
Don't come in cause I'm afraid
You saw my face, I faced my friends
Do I tell or just pretend?
I found a friend, a friend who knows
Who says he'll help but then he goes
And then he goes (4x)
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
I'm in the way, the way it goes, so go away, yeah, yeah
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
Fingernails, filled with dirt
If you don't tell, you don't get hurt
I cry for help, I pray to God
Another tear he tries to rob
To rob me of, my dignity
Cause sanctuary's far from me
Far from me (4x)
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
I'm in the way, the way it goes, so go away, yeah, yeah
It's hard to take, a piece of me, so peacefully, yeah, yeah
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
So broke inside, don't run away
And find another place to stay
And make our inhibition go away
Because I'm so afraid, yeah, yeah
It's hard to breathe, from underneath
Smothering in all your heat
It's hard to take, It's tough to break
So I don't make the same mistakes
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah
I'm in the way, the way it goes, so go away, yeah, yeah
It's hard to take, a piece of me, so peacefully, yeah, yeah
In front of me, In front of me, so far from me, yeah, yeah

To be a super power
Who fears you in front
Will hate you behind.
Who praises you in front
Will abuse you behind.
Who pleases you in front
Will avoid you behind.
Why should you strive hard
To become a man of power?

The Giant Spider
In the bathroom this evening I saw the largest spider I’d ever seen,
it was the size of a saucer and it must’ve been a king or queen.
Menacingly it stood in front of me and looked me in the eye,
I think it was considering whether I should live or die.
It began tapping one of its front feet against the tiled floor,
I didn’t know what to do, I became anxious and unsure.
The spider licked its lips, as though it had decided what to do,
so I took one step backwards and then quickly another two.
I’m sure I felt the floor vibrate, as it tapped its foot once more,
it then stood in the doorway so I couldn’t get out the door
I considered jumping over it, but remembered that they also leap,
but then my brother walked in, and crushed it beneath his feet.

Lonely Road
i was walking a black, dark, lonely road
and the fear inside of me, i'm sure had shown.
then i reached to my neck, and took my cross in my hand
and prayed to the LORD above
for his guidance and his love, and that i may see some light.
when in front of me a figure stood
with a bright light radiating from him.
and the road turned from night to day
and i was able to walk my merry way.
they said that there was a total blackout that night.
and how did i get back, without a flashlight?
when i told them, what i had seen
they all began to ridicule me.
all the elders from the town
looked at me with a frown.
how can that possibly be
when it never happened to me?
i am the pastor of this congregation
and we have searched for our salvation.
then here you come and claim you saw a light
radiating from a figure in front of you
and you expect us to believe you too.
are you saying that you're better than us
for in GOD we also put our trust.
why would he choose you and not me?
this is something i can not see.
MAYBE! it's because i was on the road to destruction
and this sign was my obstruction.
and if that is not enough for you:
look at my hand which i held the cross
just so that you could see
that the sign is embedded in me. ++

A Faux
In front of your eyes,
In front of your lips,
In front of the wilderness!
But roasted in the fire with the flavour of your love;
And what i know about you is what i write about.
Meticulously,
Perpetuity,
Foresightedly,
And like diligent taxpayers! !
But a faux-revolutionary political machine is what you have;
And many have gone hungry in the name of war.

At The Front Gate (Rondelet)
At the front gate
I saw you smell a new red rose,
at the front gate
this afternoon I could not wait
for you to come, to hold you close,
to you I wanted to propose
at the front gate.

All I Want For Christmas (Is My Two Front Teeth)
(Donald Yetter Gardner)
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
My two front teeth, My two front teeth
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth
Then I could wish you, "Merry Christmas"
It seems so long since I could say
"Sister, Susie sitting on a thistle!"
Gosh, oh gee, how happy Id be, if I could only whistle
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
My two front teeth, My two front teeth
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth
Then I could wish you, "Merry Christmas"
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
My two front teeth, My two front teeth
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth
Then I could wish you, "Merry Christmas"
It seems so long since I could say
"Sister, Susie sitting on a thistle!"
Gosh, oh gee, how happy Id be, if I could only whistle
(All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth)
(Two front teeth), (two front teeth)
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth
Then I could wish you, "Merry Christmas"
--- Instrumental ---
It seems so long since I could say
"Sister, Susie sitting on a thistle!"
Gosh, oh gee, how happy Id be, if I could only whistle
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
Two front teeth, My two front teeth
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth
Then I could wish you, "Merry Christmas"...

Killing Myself....
So many people in my life have died,
they have taken their own lives...we cried.
I stumble around in my mind,
depth...
I'm trying to find.
So many things to be overcame,
no..not me to blame.
To find the depth of what people think,
to let my heart,
sink......
I know that people will suffer if I die,
all I can do is cry.....
but when life is put in my face,
even though...
a disgrace..
I wonder, what would I miss...
years go on,
some...with sweetness.
My life is hard right now..
always putting one foot in front of the other....
I think of my friends that lean on me,
the doubt, the worry....
So instead of going away from the life I dread,
I AM GOING TO PUT ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER....instead!
I hate u...memories that haunt....
go ahead,
you can taught,
I know its my soul you want....
BUT FOR ME...I CAN NEVER HAUNT! ! ! ! !
Although I'm weak right now...
no future...
without no how....
To My Destiny...I bow! ! ! ! ! !
Waitin’ In Line
Have you ever had that feeling,
that you are wasting your time,
whenever you are waitin’ in line?
You see someone at the front,
always seem to get the best.
You seem to be last in line,
and only get what’s left.
Sometimes my friend,
the last in line do get the best.
The ones in front,
tries the goods and discard them easily.
While the one at the back keeps
hold of everything, they get.
While the one at the front,
so quickly forgets.

Up Front (feat. Debra Bird)
By Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Things were very quiet, back there
You really oughtta try it, back there
But when you think youve had enough
Its come the time to pack your stuff and go
I know
I know Im goin upfront, out in front
Leavin everyone behind, got to see what I can find
Upfront
Upfront, out in front, I was always meant to be
There for all the world to see
Upfront
Nothin but beginners, back there
They never heard of winners, back there
They laughed at all my crazy schemes
They told me to forget my dreams and stay
No way
The way to go is upfront, out in front
Leavin everyone behind, got to see what I can find
Upfront
Upfront, out in front, I was always meant to be
There for all the world to see
Where the livin is high
And the lovin is free and easy
Every star in the sky is shinin for me, for me
Upfront, out in front,
Leavin everyone behind, got to see what I can find upfront
Upfront, out in front, I was always meant to be
There for all the world to see

In the steps of Rumi 86: The Mirror
This mirror.
She has stood in front of it for many minutes;
this; that;
finally asked the mirror silently
its opinion.
The mirror agreed with the perfection
that she saw in herself now, in front of it..
Now she leaves the room.
The mirror has nothing to reflect.
While it’s reflecting nothing,
steal up to it from the side,
admire it. Maybe praise it
by polishing it. Wonder, how it is
that it has an in front of it,
yet no behind it.
Wonder how it is
that it never lies,
always tells the truth,
yet agrees with all we see in it..
Wonder too, how it brings
all who stand in front of it, to silence..
bestows this rare blessing upon all,
which is beyond the ability of men,
of books..
Somewhere where ideas emerge
from nowhere into somewhere,
then roam anywhere and everywhere,
mind and mirror were given a secret which they share.

Silver Anniversary
There beyond the shrub
the sun medallions on the grass
around a python and boar,
the python winding.
Through binoculars I see
the python work so slow.
The boar now knows
what I learned long ago.
To go this way
takes years.

Pine Tree
I'm a pine tree in a ceramic pot,
Sitting on a ledge beside a window.
The other trees outside have grown a lot,
But my maturation has been so slow.
I watch each season pass in front of me.
I watch the world wear down in bad weather.
I watch each tree become green and healthy
In front-yard forests—tall and together.
I see the leaves go brown, flake and crumble.
I see the barren branches of winter.
I see nature force them to be humble
When lightning crashes them into splinters.
I'm fine looking from here, my window sill.
In watching, I experience life still.
