At the beginning of the 60's our country called the foreign workers to come to Germany and now they live in our country. We kidded ourselves a while, we said: 'They won't stay, sometime they will be gone.' But this isn't reality.

The real heroes
Bearing the rage of elements
Far from their loved ones
Exposing their lives to danger
Yet remain firm and dedicated
To the safety of the country
They are real heroes who wake up in the night
When we are in the bed
They toil at the border
When we enjoy with our family
They also have families and friends
They also pine for them
But country is a priority for them
They forget everything for the sake of the country
They live for the country
And they die for the country
They are not among them who never miss
A single chance to earn money
And yet called heroes
These so called heroes put the honour
Of the country at stake
But our soldiers put their live at stake
To save the country from embarrassment
They are the pillars of the country.

Country Alone
There is dreaming land and happy country
Cursed and blessed by her beauty alone
The lost children of the country
Foreign in sweet home alone
Do not understand country
Hardly meaning own name alone
Some praise the country
Some leave and laugh alone
Emptying nectar of country
Satisfying their belly alone
Forget about future seed country
Fight living and growing alone
So tragic for the country
Eaten by her child alone

I think that in a year I may retire. I cannot take my money with me when I die and I wish to enjoy it, with my family, while I live. I should prefer living in Germany to any other country, though I am an American, and am loyal to my country.

Fired My Rocket!
we 'discovered' this country
on the basis of murder and religion.
we built this country
on the backs of slaves.
we made this country prosperous
with the bodies of underpaid factory workers.
we spread democracy
with the sword of felony and greed.
we fed this country,
and foreclosed the farms of the farmers.
and you wonder
why we are where we are now!

Team Work
A loud drunk was at a bar,
speaking about one thing or another,
all of a sudden he yells out,
If you need to something, do it yourself,
that is how our country works,
I turn to my friends as we all look at each other,
pick the guy up and tossed him out,
also we tell him don't come back,
in our country it is called team work,
so stay out of our country.

Country Girl
(copyright nazareth, tiflis tunes,inc.- ascap)
You are a girl from the country
Your eyes remind me of the sun
You came to visit in the city
And won the hearts of everyone
You are a girl from the country
Your hair is colored like the corn
I have never been outside the city
I am no friend to anyone
Chorus:
Country girl wont you stay a while
Wont you stay a while with me
Country girl wont you stay a while
Let me see you smile for me
Lead
You are a girl from the country
Before you came I was alone
Please say youll take me to the country
And let me share your country home

Boy From The Country
This song appears on two albums, and was first released on the an evening with john denver album as a live track, and has also been released on the some days are diamonds album as a studio versi
R
Because he called the forest brother
Because he called the earth his mother
They drove him out into the rain
Some people even said the boy from the country was insane
Because he spoke with fish in the creek
He tried to tell us that the animals could speak
Who knows, perhaps they do
How do you know they dont
Just because theyve never spoken to you
Boy from the country, he left his home when he was young
Boy from the country, he loves the sun
He tried to tell us that we should love the land
We turned our heads and laughed
And we did not understand
Sometimes I think that the boy from the country
Is the only one who sees
Because the boy from the country
Doesnt want to see the forest for the trees
Boy from the country, he left his home when he was young
Boy from the country, he loves the sun

Whose Country?
This is the Earth we all brlong to,
In the beginning were Adam and Eve created;
My Earth,
Your Earth,
Our Earth,
Their Earth,
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
My country,
Your country,
Our country,
Their country,
Whose country is the best?
Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden.
We are in tne same garden today,
This garden is now called Earth;
So did they increased and multiplied.
Whose country is this?
Spreading all over the Earth we came.
From Eden to what we have today,
Whose world?
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
My world,
Your world,
Our world,
Their world,
We are the same people from the same source;
We came from Adam and Eve.
From generations unto generations,
The same people into different colours today;
This is the Earth that we all belong to.
Of many colours taday to enhance the beauty os Earth,
The same homan race from the beginning;
Whose people are they?
My people,
Your people,
Their people,
From one language to many languages today;
So, why worry about the colour of one's skin?
Without Adam and Eve,
Could we have been here today?
Why then create the boundaries?
We are the same people.
This is the Earth that we all belong to,
Why can't we see the truth and live?
This is my home,
This is your home,
This is our home,
This is their home,
The very Earth that we all live in.

Country Woman
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
The first time I met you I knew you were the devils daughter
You came on like a river , doin all the things you oughta
Youre a self made women ,baby, not a made-to-order
If you had your way , I know youd make me stay
And that would only bring me down
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
(break)
Country women , country women ,country women
Country women, country women , ahh....
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
Leave my life alone
Country women now , country women now, country women now,
Country women now , country women now, country women now, (fade)

To Germany With Love
I am an emigree, I write to germany
In foreign words, a tongue of actuality
Hands in grey gloves
To germany with love
A war between the wars
A war between the wars
Triumph over bygone sorrow
Can in unity be won
Let them all persue this purpose
Till reality is gone
I am an unexpected spy
From the outside of my eye
Translate it first then comprehend
Im here indeed but there I stand
I write to germany, I write to germany
To germany with love, to germany with love
This is the turn of colours
All real, some still unseen
There is no more decision cause theres too much in between
Let us build a nightmare nation
Learn and work as never yet
That this cold new generation faith in its own fears beget
Here comes the modern rat, here comes the terror squad
Ours is the salt of wisdom, here we come all dressed in black
From the ruins risen slowly to the future turned we stand
Flourish in this blessing glory
Flourish german fatherland
I write to germany, I write to germany
All quiet in germany, all quiet in germany

Workers Of America
Workers of America shout long and loud
As we work together hard and proud
We are the ones that built this great country of ours
From the strain on our backs and our blisters and scars
We were the ones to clear the fields and lay the tracks
We are the ones to build the cities and break our backs
And we are the ones to sweat and bleed and die
As we built this great country, which no one can deny
We work the factories, and the stores and the mills
We dig the ditches and collect the garbage to pay our bills
We are the ones to work in the snow and in the heat of the sun
If it wasn't for us the workers, no work would ever be done
It wasn't the politicians or the judges who built this great land
But it was the workers of America as destiny had planned
Also we are the ones to fight the fires and all the wars
When our elected officials send us away to foreign shores
And we are the ones to feed the deprived and the needy
While the rich man cares for no one, but himself and the greedy
Without us the workers this land or any land would certainly fall
As we are the one that mixes the mortar and builds the wall
We pay the taxes to keep America's heart beating
And we are the ones to keep America always competing
Workers of America look up, as GOD gives us a nod
And listen to the past, as our forefathers do applaud.

Culture Shock
After an absence of...
four years intensely immersed;
in a foreign country
culture cuisine employment.
Sometimes the greatest
culture shock;
is coming back
to your home country.
Sometimes then
you do not belong;
in either country
ever ever again.
This is definitely true
when you never;
belonged in your home
country to begin with.
Bicultural people
can however;
be an insightful gift
to both cultures.

Kashmir, who fools who?
No third country’s intervention;
No third country’s mediation;
No third country’s supervision.
It is on Kashmir, India’s contention.
On every massacre across the border
India brings in America’s attention.

Real Losers
one is the soul of the country one is the wealth
both seem not to know how best to give to the country
one says one is the real son of the country
the other says he is equally a son of the country
for he helps build up the country, feed the nation
and develop it blood and sweat
]
one insists he is the real master
the other says he wishes to have similar status
both go on and on until they forget there is
a country to be fed, to be built, and both
end up in the drain, soul and wealth
so much to fight over in a country
without much of a country to gain in the end
my pity, my pity

Anthem
A country I see inside has partnership with me,
With gladness they invoke an anthem of joy.
A country might describe ours, ours,
The merriment is immense, I destroy like a country.
A country is murdered always by the neighbour,
But will it take over the opposite kind?
A country best is, a masterful work,
A distant dive and gorgeous jelly.
When a country is a nation
This anthem must not begin.

In A Big Country
Ive never seen you look like this without a reason
Another promise fallen through
Another season passes by you
I never took the smile away from anybodys face
And thats a desperate way to look
For someone who is still a child
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lovers voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you cant stay here with every single hope you had shattered
Im not expecting to grow flowers in a desert
But I can live and breathe
And see the sun in wintertime
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lovers voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
Stay alive
So take that look out of here it doesnt fit you
Because its happened doesnt mean youve been discarded
Pull up your head off the floorcome up screaming
Cry out for everything you ever might have wanted
I thought that pain and truth were things that really mattered
But you cant stay here with every single hope you had shattered
Im not expecting to grow flowers in a desert
But I can live and breathe
And see the sun in wintertime
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lovers voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lovers voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
In a big country dreams stay with you
Like a lovers voice fires the mountainside
Stay alive
