Christopher Reeve

We live in a time when the words impossible and unsolvable are no longer part of the scientific community's vocabulary. Each day we move closer to trials that will not just minimize the symptoms of disease and injury but eliminate them.

These Are Symptoms

Rather than to admit to madness,
It was left unaddressed and explosed.
Rather than prevent it in its steps,
And arresting its progress...
The symptoms were ignored,
As a decision everyone then chose.

Locally,
People were still stuck...
In a 'they' and 'them' mindset.
Having no interests in backyard events.
Not even to be curious enough,
To take a peek through the fence.
Set in their ways and making less sense.

Accepting and tolerating a decline of their lives.
Not wishing to cause trouble...
So they kept their mouths closed,
To minimize the hassle.
And made any complaints,
In muffled tones in their homes.
As if a disease had arrived to condone.

And one did!

Rather than to admit to madness,
It was left unaddressed and explosed.
Rather than prevent it in its steps,
And arresting its progress...
The symptoms were ignored,
As a decision everyone then chose.

Locally,
People were still stuck...
In a 'they' and 'them' mindset.
Having no interests in backyard events.
Not even to be curious enough,
To take a peek through the fence.
Set in their ways and making less sense.
And...
Babbling incoherently.
Pointing to each other as another would agree.

If Baltimore's view, that scientists who do not take the words of authorities are far removed from the ordinary behavior of scientists, prevails in the scientific community, then something fundamental, very serious, and very disturbing is happening to the scientific community.

His vocabulary

her vocabulary
every word fits into its space
like a classroom

her vocabulary
each word carries its own weight
as it files into my mind

her vocabulary
notes of the morning birds
that strain to sing

her vocabulary
my mind polished
like silver

her vocabulary
the calisthenics of her mind
in my mind

her vocabulary
the precision of her mind
etched onto my heart

her vocabulary
sublime as a glass of
evening whisky

her vocabulary
strikes like
glitters of diamonds

his vocabulary
my brain has no space
to breathe

his vocabulary
every piece of writing
has become a thesis

his vocabulary
he asks to take him
as he is

his vocabulary
she feels he is not true
to his own feelings

his vocabulary
she asks it is weaned from
dictionary or experience

his vocabulary
she asks he is out to impress
or express

Symptoms

Symptoms,
Measures,
To counter! !
And like the symptoms of the Dutch disease,
But the phenomenon of your love is like the deep blue sea.
An increase in the price of your product is know to us,
But the ship will always sail on the sea;
And like the indicative measures of the symptoms of your love.

Human’s traits

Abundance will not eliminate begging.
Prosperity will not eliminate stealing.
Punishment will not eliminate killing
Availability will not eliminate adultery.
They are all traits we must live with.

It's Impossible

It's impossible to tell the sun to leave the sky,
It's just impossible.
It's impossible to ask a baby not to cry,
It's just impossible.
Can I hold you closer to me
And not feel you going through me,
But the second that I never think of you?
Oh, how impossible.
Can the ocean keep from rushing to the shore?
It's just impossible.
If I had you could I ever ask for more?
It's just impossible.
And tomorrow, should you ask me for the world
Somehow I'd get it, I would sell my very soul
And not regret it for to live without your love
Is just impossible
Can the ocean keep from rushing to the shore?
It's just impossible.
If I had you could I ever ask for more?
It's just impossible.
And tomorrow, should you ask me for the world
Somehow I'd get it, I would sell my very soul
And not regret it for to live without your love
Is just impossible
Oh impossible,
Impossible.
Impossible.

Move Closer

Hey' baby
You go your way
And I'll go mine
But in the meantime
Move closer
When we're together
Touching each other
And our bodies
Do what we feel
When we're dancing
Smooching and swaying
Tender love song
Softly playing
Move closer (move closer)
Move your body' real close until we
Feel like we're making love
Get closer
So when I say sugar
And I whisper i love vou (I love you)
Well I know you're gonna answer
in the sweetest voice yeah my sexy baby
I love you too
There's much room for passion, oh no, no
There no room for fears
When the love flows smoothly between us
my dear
Oh move closer baby
Come here girl
Let me hold you
You feel so good to me woman
Move closer) Let's get closer
(Let's get closer) Gonna make sweet love to you
Honey get beside me
And let me love you
My baby, baby, baby
I love you
So baby won't yoy
Move closer (move closer)
Why don't you move your body real close
Until we feeI like we're really' making sweet, sweet,
sweet, sweet, sweet love
Move closer (move closer)
So why don't you take me to heaven
Oh baby, to heaven, yeah
Let's take our time and do it right
Be going all night, yeah
It's gonna be a long night

I Need To Lean On You

Lord I need to lean upon you, to do those things only you can do,
As you move on the hearts of man, with ways only your Spirit can,
Moving upon a troubled heart, beyond all words I’m able to impart,
Healing hurts I cannot reach, beyond those words I tend to preach.

I must view a hopeless situation, through the Words of Revelation,
Seeing in stories of the past, hope that through all times shall last,
Men such as Daniel and Joseph too, who in all trials relied on you,
And that hope, I lean upon today, when darker trials come my way.

Even in that toughest situation, I wait on The Lord of my Salvation,
To deliver me, when trials come, through the Power of God’s Son,
Who secures for His own victory, when trials come to you and me,
With the promise of Eternal Life, He helps us through earthly strife.

It has always been God alone, who sends victory from His Throne,
As men are saved to live for Him, in a world that is plagued by sin,
For it is Christ who shelters us, our eternal fortress in who we trust,
Strengthening us in times of need, when His Truth we truly to heed.

Lord, in quietness I must be still, while I seek out your Perfect Will,
In the situation which I face today, in God’s time and in God’s way,
Not questioning God, how or why, but, reflecting on days gone by,
Recalling with heartfelt praise, how He got me through darker days.

Then we could be together
All night
Theres nothing I like better

Closer, closer
Nothing, nothing
Nothing I like better

Don't Nibble With a Quibble Missed

Eliminate steps you waste.
And move on the case,
To do what it takes...
To make it!

Eliminate steps you waste.
And move on the case,
To do what it takes...
To make it!

Decide to say goodbye...
To all your trials and denials,
Served on a plate.
As you wait in hesitation,
To nibble...
With a quibble missed.

Decide it's much too late...
To celebrate a fate,
Some wish to fizzle!
To make you miserable!

Eliminate steps you waste.
And move on the case,
To do what it takes...
To make it!

There's nothing to it,
But to do it!

Eliminate steps you waste.
And move on the case,
To do what it takes...
To make it!

Prove that you can do it!
And...
Eliminate steps you waste.
And move on the case,
To do what it takes...
To make it!

Don't nibble,
With a quibble missed.

Decide it's much too late...
To celebrate a fate,
Some wish to fizzle!
To make you miserable!

It's your fate.
It's never too late.

Don't be so miserable!

It's your fate.
It's never too late.

Don't be so miserable!

It's your fate.
It's never too late.

Don't be so miserable!

Don't nibble,
With a quibble missed.

It's your fate.
It's never too late.

Don't be so miserable!
It's your fate.
It's never too late.

Don't be so miserable!

It's your fate.
It's never too late.
Don't be so miserable!

All My Trials

I had a little book
Was give to me
And every page
Spoke of liberty
All my trials
Will soon be over
There is a tree
In paradise
The pilgrims call it
The tree of life
All my trials
Will soon be over
But its too late, my friend
Too late
But never mind
All my trials
Will soon be over
If religion were a thing
That money could buy
Then the rich would live
And the poor would die
All my trials
Will soon be over
All my trials
Will soon be over

Death Is Calling At My Door

Death is calling at my door,
Knock Knock not another joke.
This time I'm actually scared.

The call of death is at my door,
Knocking..... Knocking.....
Awaiting an answer,
My body gets cold as I start to shiver.
All sorts of things are happening to my body,
Not accustom to it; it got me worried.

I am feeling like I am going to die,
I don't. I want to stay alive.
I don't know what it is,
For all I know it could be a disease.
I spoke to my mother who said it is normal and I am alright,
But the symptoms I am getting insist to pry.

The knocking on the door becomes more as I go closer.
I want it to go away let me live to see another day.
I open the door ready to take my last breath,
Shockingly death had the wrong address

The f word and me

The other day we discussed reasons
why people use
the magical f word.

a Young woman is of the opinion
that it’s because of a lack of imperfect language,
where a person’s vocabulary
lacks other words to use.

I think that there are many more other reasons
to slip in everywhere
and that vocabulary
has very little
or nothing to do with it.

One thing that can incite it
is exposure,
where people hear it
hundreds of times
every day
like in an army.

Subsequently without intention
it becomes part of your conversation
and your own vocabulary,
without drawing any attention
with yourself.

The word f is a power word
that give colour intensity
to the meanings of other words
and it can underline, emphasize
or lift some out.

You can also use it as a word
that has many meanings
and use it like a good shifting spanner
that shift for meaning values.

This word can also
be almost any word type
that gives bigger power
to other words used with it.

The thing that really matters
what others read
in the meaning of my words
and if I loose integrity by using it.

There are times
my mother wants to catch a fit
when I use the f word
and not from the meaning
of my words,

but from the negative context
that can be drawn with the word
and the easy transfer
of the word on children that hear my dialogue.

To The One And Only

Oh my dear Lord God I bow to Thee
You're the One who will set me free.
Before the altar in the chamber of my heart
in loving worship of Thee I humbly take part.

To love and serve Thee is the purpose of life
by doing which we can abstain from all strife.
Thou art the light which shineth in the dark
and in everything You've placed Thy mark.

When Thy love and grace have been received
all things worthwhile can then be achieved.
Everything in the world was not made to last
all is subject to decay having once been cast.

Thou art the underlying substance that does sustain all
that infinite existence in which we move, rise and fall.
Yet to so many people You do appear to be very far away
though really speaking You're in everyone's heart to stay.

When our heart is crowded with too many worldly desires
we experience an insatiable thirst from proximity to its fires.
Separation and emptiness are the symptoms of this disease
where we are lost in forgetfulness and unable to appease.

But Thy Name happens to be the only thing of any lasting value
it is by means of Thy Name we come to please and know You.
Because You are closer to us than our very breath
imminent and transcendent You are beyond death.

The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get

The more you ignore me
The closer i get
You're wasting your time
The more you ignore me
The closer i get
You're wasting your time
I will be
In the bar
With my head
On the bar
I am now
A central part
Of your mind's landscape
Whether you care
Or do not
Yeah, i've made up your mind
The more you ignore me
The closer i get
You're wasting your time
The more you ignore me
The closer i get
You're wasting your time
Beware !
I bear more grudges
Than lonely high court judges
When you sleep
I will creep
Into your thoughts
Like a bad debt
That you can't pay
Take the easy way
And give in
Yeah, and let me in
Oh, let me in
Oh let me ...
Oh, let me in
It's war
It's war
It's war
It's war
It's war
War
War
War
War
Oh, let me in
Ah, the closer i get
Ah, you're asking for it
Ah, the closer i get
Ooh, the closer i ...
