I hardly expected the grand jury to sustain me, after they saw everything different from what it had been while I was there. Yet they did, and their report to the court advises all the changes made that I had proposed.

My grand dad

I remember you grand dad
Back since I was only three
I remember you granddad
How much you adored me
I remember you grand dad
How you made me smile
I remember you grand dad
You made my toddler years worthwhile
I remember you grand dad
Your lovely smell of tobacco
I remember you grand dad
The love for others you would show
I remember you grand dad
When I came to see you, you would give me a jellybean
I remember you grand dad
You always made me feel like a queen
I remember you grand dad
And I miss you everyday

Political Arena

It was a political arena that he was in
A political arena where they said he could not win.
He was fighting for the rights of man
Someone had to take a stand.
His religious rights were being denied
They said he was a war activist which was a lie.
He believed in the commandment “thou shall not kill”
They wanted to take away his rights of “ free will”.
So his lawyer went to court, and fought
With everything that he was taught.

He knew he had a battle up ahead
But it was a fight he did not dread.
Civil rights were being denied
Freedom to all should apply.
They went to court the very next day
He knew the jury he would have to sway.
He started debating how he should start
When a deep feeling pierced his heart.

He told the jury: if this had been GODS will
He would have taught us how to kill.
Can you find it in your heart to take another mans life
And leave a person without a husband, family, children, wife.
Those words penetrated deep into their minds.
It did not take them very much time.

“ NOT GUILTY” we the jury do find.

Show Dont Tell

Words by neil peart, music by geddy lee and alex lifeson
How many times do you hear it?
It goes on all day long
Everyone knows everything
And no ones ever wrong
Until later
Who can you believe?
Its hard to play it safe
But apart from a few good friends
We dont take anything on faith
Until later
Show dont tell
Show me dont tell me
Youve figured out the score
Show me dont tell me
Ive heard it all before
Show me dont tell me
I dont care what you say
Show me dont tell me
You can twist perceptions
Reality wont budge
You can raise objections
I will be the judge
And the jury
Ill give it due reflection
Watching from the fence
Give the jury direction
Based on the evidence
I, the jury
Show me dont tell me
Hey --- order in the court
Show me dont tell me
Lets try to keep it short
Show me dont tell me
Enough of your demands
Show me dont tell me
Witness take the stand
Show me dont tell me
Show me dont tell me
Hey --- order in the court
Show me dont tell me
Lets try to keep it short
Show me dont tell me
I dont care what you say
Show me dont tell me
Lets see exhibit a

Report

What is report?
Report is established,
Not demanded.
Seduction to manipulate
Premeditated moves
Will not sit well with someone else
You wish to impress
With what you offer that's approved.
One seeking report
Leaves these aggressions at the door.
If not one will find rejection...
Without another reception.
And having report,
Is what one should never first ignore!

'You mean 'ree'pour? '
Report is like giving a grade.'

And 'ree'pour is like giving what?

'Having class! '

Well,
What do you get in a 'class'?

'A report! '

Let's see...
If you report to class with 'ree'pour',
You'll get a good grade!

He Proposed

Verse i
It was valentines day february the 14th
My baby took me to a special place
Said he had a surprise for me
He told me to close my eyes
So that I could not see and when I opened them up
He was on one knee reachin for my hand (thats when)
Chorus
He proposed to me- he proposed with a diamond ring
I started crying- he placed it on my finger and I said
Yes- he proposed to me- he proposed with a diamond
Ring I couldnt believe it I looked in his eyes and i
Said yes.
Verse ii
Ill never forget that night- it was 8:43 pm to be
Precise
He looked into my eyes and said-youve made me the
Happiest man alive. soon as I got home I called my
Mother on the phone- said you wont believe what just
Happened to me
Bridge
We will be together-this I know
We will love forever my heart told me so
If you promise to hold me tight and never let me go
Well be husband and wife
For the rest of our lives

Electric Guitar

Electric guitar gets run over by a car on the highway
This is a crime against the state
This is the meaning of life.
To tune this electric guitar
An electric guitar is brought in to a court of law
The judge and the jury (twelve members of the jury)
All listening to records
This is a crime against the state
This is the verdict they reach:
Never listen to electric guitar
Electric guitar is copies, the copy sounds better
Call this the law of justice, call this freedom and liberty
I thought I perjure myself, right infront of the jury!
Is this a crime against the state? no!
This is the verdict they reach:
Someone controls electric guitar.

To Allow It To Manifest

Condoning ignorance,
Does not prepare anyone...
To defend against it.
Even those with an abundant wealth of it,
Have not begun to become haunted,
By the error of their foolish ways.

And to have allowed it to manifest,
As an accepted activity to protect...
Will not ever prove to be,
A decision that has made...
The existence of it cost effective.

Since the price of ignorance,
With its after effects expressed...
By the tolerance of a showing of disrespect,
Has already made its appearance...
Weak on dividends expected.

And an investment now so out of reach,
Many now find too expense to sustain...
As a social disbelief now attacking as if a beast,
That has become much too overwhelming to appease.

And yet there are those still wishing to meet,
With time taken to procrastinate in denial.
Feeling that a doing of this showing of a seriousness,
As a useful benefit to click on a few minds too dim.
Much like a suggestion of a gluing of fallen Autumn leaves,
Back onto tree branches from which they fell.
Proposed sacrastically!
But,
Incredibly enough...
There will be many believing that to be a good idea.

An ignorance deep in depths like this,
Is pointless to make attempts to awaken.
A darkness so embedded,
Will never surface to become enlightened.
No matter who has been appointed,
To control the light switch.
The batteries in some heads are dead.

This Court

This court is
Not final court.
It has got no
Unlimitted power.
This court is
Not empower to
Pass final judgement
And final decree.
The order of
This court is
Not binding.
This court has
No discretionary power
This court lacks
Original jurisdiction.
This court is
Not a real court.
