When you're creating a character out of nothing, you have to make all the guesses as to how they walk, how they talk, how they think. It was all there on the table for us to pick and choose for Murrow.

Murrow Turning Over In His Grave
All the sainted sinners
They pay handsomely
And eventually?
They make the weapons
And they run the prisons
And they sell the justice
Cause being guilty is
Just good business
And well be standing on
The borderline
Aint no one there gonna
Stop it now
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Better watch out
Murrow turning over in his grave
Hes gonna turn wild
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Better watch out
Murrow turning over in his grave
Hes gonna run wild
Half-closed eyes
And the countrys deadly
Do you feel the ooze as your brain drains out
From your pneumatic drills and sharpening knives
Blood in the sky
Are you dead or alive?
All the restless people and the bitter green
Well it fakes this gold, makes the spirit mean
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Better watch out
Murrow turning over in his grave
Hes gonna turn wild
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Murrow turning over in his grave
Better watch out
Murrow turning over in his grave
Hes gonna run wild

Those Kids Are Mine
Pick any hour you choose to believe,
I am fast asleep.
With dreams of royalities.
And making acceptance speeches,
Behind raised and decorated podiums.
After reciting poem after poem,
Without a wish to get needed rest.
Pick any hour you choose to believe,
That hour is the time to begin your creeping.
When I release my 'children',
From the state of mind I fall into...
That seems to turn me on.
And...
I am creating 'children birthing from my pen.
Pick any hour your choose,
To molest any one of them.
And I will be at your door before you get there.
To begin your craft of flagrant plagiarism.
Pick any hour you choose to believe,
That hour is the time to begin your creeping.
You've been getting closer and closer...
But,
You touch one of my kids.
I will be at your door before you get there.
To discredit every move you've made,
To claim what's mine.
To do, redo, re-state or redefine.
Those kids are mine! And we know each other,
Very well.

The Table And The Chair
Said the Table to the Chair,
'You can hardly be aware
How I suffer from the heat,
And from chilblains on my feet!
If we took a little walk,
We might have a little talk!
Pray let us take the air!'
Said the Table to the Chair.
Said the Chair unto the Table,
'Now you know we are not able!
How foolishly you talk,
When you know we cannot walk!'
Said the Table with a sigh,
'It can do no harm to try;
I've as many legs as you;
Why can't we walk on two?'
So they both went slowly down,
And walked about the town
With a cheerful bumpy sound,
As they toddled round and round.
And everybody cried,
As they hastened to their side,
'See! the Table and the Chair
Have come out to take the air!'
But, in going down an alley
To a castle in the valley,
They completely lost their way,
And wandered all the day
Till, to see them safely back,
They paid a Ducky-quack,
And a Beetle, and a Mouse,
Who took them to their house.
Then they whispered to each other,
'O delightful little brother!
What a lovely walk we've taken!
Let us dine on Beans and Bacon!'
So the Ducky and the leetle
Browny-Mousy and the Beetle
Dined, and danced upon their heads
Till they toddled to their beds.

Walk & Talk It
I got hearts, ah, in my looney tunes
I got dreams and you do, too
I got ten wheel drive
To pick you up, up to your ears, oh
I got refined carbon in my eyelids, dear
Ive got no one to love and no one to fear
You better walk it
And talk it less you lose that beat
You better lose yourself mama
And knock yourself right off of your feet
If youre moving too fast
Dont you want it to last
You better walk it, talk it
You better walk it as you talk it less you lose that beat
Oh
Ive got dimes in my shoes real nice
Ive got bells that are laid on ice
I got dreams
Let me mix it with a little gin
I got cool when Im cold and warm when Im hot
But me is the one thing baby, you aint got
You got to walk it
And talk it less you lose that beat
You better lose yourself mama
And knock yourself right off of your feet
Yeah, if youre moving too fast
Now dont you want it to last, ah
You better walk it, talk it
You better walk it as you talk it less you lose that beat
You better walk it
And talk it less you lose that beat
You better lose yourself mama
And knock yourself right off of your feet
Yeah, if youre moving too fast
Now dont you want it to last
You better walk it, talk it
You better walk it as you talk it less you lose that beat
Ah-ha-ha
Oh, all right, ooohhh

An Injustice
God knows how much I love her
Though she has loose character!
God knows how much I want her
Though she has loose character!
God knows how much I need her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even walk with her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even talk to her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even look at her
Though she has loose character!

I'm Just A Kid
Little girl what's your name
Now don't you go looking at me like that
You might see i'm ashamed - what's your name
Talk with me, won't you talk with me
Chorus:
Ooooooh pretty girl
It ain't too hip faking lines you ain't taking
But your lips make me say it that way
Now there's no use you resisting
This is the cradle thief insisting
I think you better let me have it my way
Fool around with me, come on mess around with me
Chorus:
Will you survive, learn to drive
I know you can't describe the dreams you want to be
Either stay or get away
I'm not playing around, can't you tell the way i'm squeezing
Your hand
I'm just a kid don't make me feel like a man
Silly girl i'm just playing
Now did you think that i'd be nuts enough to try an' pick you up
Don't you know it's a game - it's all a game i've been playing
But what'd you say your name was...
Walk with me... just around the corner baby maybe you could even
Try to talk to me
Damn you talk to me!
Damn you talk to me!

Walk that walk.
Talk that talk.
Walk that walk.
Talk that talk.
Walk that walk.
Talk that talk.
Walk that walk.
Talk that talk.
Walk that walk.
Oh, talk that talk and walk that walk.
Talk that talk.
Walk that walk.
Talk that talk.
Baby, you look so good.
Come on baby,

Walk Dont Walk
Walk on their side of the street?
Dont walk where it feels the best?
Walk away from people u meet?
Dont talk 2 strangers
Unless they walk the way u want them 2?
Dont walk unless the others do?
I said walk, like u could use a ride?
Dont walk with a confident stride
Then people will walk over u
Dont talk until they tell u 2?
Dont talk if its against the rules?
Just walk away and be a fool?
Thats what they wantcha 2 do
Yeah, thats what they want u 2 do
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Dont talk if its against the rules?
Just walk away and be a fool?
Thats what they wantcha 2 do
So u got 2 walk like u wanna make it!
Dont walk like u just cant take it
Go on and walk on any side you like!
Dont walk wherever they tell u 2 - psyche!
The sun will shine upon u one day
If ure always walkin your way
The sun will shine upon u one day
If ure always walkin your way
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
Sha-la-la-la-la
(tellin me now, just walkin)
Said Im walkin on your side of the street (tellin me now, just walkin)
Im talkin 2 the people I meet (tellin me now, just walkin)
Alright
Walk - dont walk
Talk - dont talk
Walk - dont walk
Talk - dont talk
Walk - dont walk
Talk - dont talk

Talk To Me
When I see you, girl you turn my head, you make me dizzy
I get a good vibration
When I look into your big blue eyes, I start to quiver and shake
I get a strange sensation
When you walk by me you strut around, you make me crazy, I get no relaxation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation, talk to me
People tell me that you run around and that youre no good
You got a bad reputation
I dont care what all the people say, you know they talk too much
Its a fascination
All I wanna do is talk to you and maybe go out, and form some kind of relation
So talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me - why dont you
Talk to me - cmon and talk to me
I just wanna talk to you
Girl I wish you knew the way I felt, you think Im silly, that its infatuation
So we better get together soon, because I need you girl
I cant stand the frustration, so
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, all I want is a little conversation
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me, talk to me - why dont you
Talk to me - cmon and talk to me
Talk to me, talk to me, talk to me - I just wanna talk to you

We Live In The World We Build
You can choose from the crops of unhappiness…
or you can unearth the joy from your heart.
You can choose to draw from your dark stormy life…
or believe that only rainbow's beauty follows rain.
You can choose to pollute the air you breathe…
or do no harm to the environs of human or all life form.
You can choose to produce foods by man’s means …
or allow it to be produced by nature’s teams.
You can choose to live in jealousy and hate or
live with love and you won’t have none of the above.
You can choose to make war
or you can make love instead...
You can choose to pluck the thorns…
or pick red, yellow, and pink roses, instead.
You deserve your world that
built brick by brick.

Things Do Not Seem To Be Them After A Careful Seeing
a spoon
and a fork and they seem to appear
with food on a silver platter
when we talk we talk like poets now
after years
a spoon is no longer just a spoon
and neither is the fork
and neither is the food the food that we
eat on the table
and neither is the silver platter a mere
silver platter as it seems to be
for a spoon may be me and i may also be
a tongue and i could be a tongue to your
fork, a protrusion that stabs me like a knife
and the silver platter could be our mind
a garden where we put every seed
and the table and the cloth that covers it
with leaves and flowers
myabe our worlds, covered and uncovered
with some intricate designs
this could be our world now. a world of poems
where everything is a roll of sensitive skin
a mind so fertile with its array of metaphors
and similes and
exaggerations, and these make us so happy
we tiptoe, we choose the word, we equate
every object to a meaning, we dance to a lot
of its nuances, and then we touch and then
we are so silent. we choose not to hurt.

Hard Day
What I say
Is what I know
And all I can say
Is all Ive seen
Nobody knows
As well as me
That safety in numbers
Is just what it seems
Its been a hard, hard day
In my life
Its been a hard, hard day
For me
And when I walk I walk
The walk of a tired man
Talk, I talk about nothing at all
And when I see, I say its hard to explain
What I mean
And when I walk I walk
The walk of a tired man
Talk, I talk about
Nothing at all
See, I say its hard to explain
What I mean
To say
All I know
Is all Ive seen
And what I say
Is what I mean
How can I explain
What I know
When all I know
Is all Ive seen
And when I walk
I walk the walk of a tired man
Talk, I talk about
Nothing at all
See, I say
Its hard to explain what I mean
And when I walk
I walk the walk of a tired man
See I say nothing at all
Talk I talk about nothing
Thats all I do
Its been a hard, hard day
For me
Its been such a hard day
For me
Its been a hard, hard day
In my life
But its not a day
Id choose to forget

You Made Okay To Do It Your Way
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
Why did you choose to pick a ball,
Knowing picking it...
Wasn't cool to do.
You complained,
That you couldn't take the weight.
And a waiting too late makes it okay.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.
You made okay to do it your way,
To...
Pick then kick a ball.
To,
Pick then kick a ball.
You made okay to do it your way,
To...
Pick then kick a ball.
To,
Pick then kick a ball.
Why did you choose to pick a ball,
Knowing picking it...
Wasn't cool to do.
You made okay to do it your way,
To...
Pick then kick a ball.
To,
Pick then kick a ball.
You pick up then you kicked the ball.

The job of an actor is the same in all of them, really. I mean, you're just creating a character that you hope people will believe, so it doesn't make that much of a difference really.

Sonnet: Choose The Things in Your Life
0 choose your friend who must be good as you;
And choose your spouse better than you; make sure;
And choose the one best as your Teacher too;
And choose ambitions that suit your nature.
0 choose the profession thats truly best;
And choose the hobbies that ne'er interfere;
And choose your Time to begin work, take rest;
And choose your enemies, you surely fear.
0 choose your food that gives extended health;
And choose your garments -comfortable wear;
And choose the honest way to added wealth;
And choose the burden right, body can bear.
0 choose the people who deserve help most;
And choose good principles, yet never boast.

Royal Orleans
(bonham/jones/page/plant)
One time love, take care how you use it
Try to make it last all night, and if you take your pick
Be careful how you choose it, sometimes its hard to feel it bite
Feel it bite.
A man I know, went down to louisiana,
Had himself a bad, bad fight
And when the sun peeked through
John cameron with suzanna,
He kissed the whiskers, left & right
Whiskers!
Now, now, now, fright subsides
Out at a hotel in the quarter, our friends check in to pass the night
Now love gets hot, but fire preceded water
Poor whiskers set the room alight.
Whiskers!
Down on bourbon street, you know its right
You can see my friend, they run around all through the night
Most everywhere, until the closets bare
Run for the razor, doin up my hair
New orleans queens, sure know how to schmooze it
Maybe for some that seems alright
When I step out, strut down with my sugar
Shed best not talk like barry white!
One time love, take care how you use it
Try to make it last all night, and if you take your pick
Be careful how you choose it, sometimes its hard to feel it bite
Feel it bite.

Crazy Babies
CRAZY!!
BABIES!!
Crazy babies never say die
Born to live on a permanent high
Flying high above the world below
Better come down soon,
Or everyone will know just why
Nobody's gonna change them, change them
They've gone over the top
Nobody's gonna tame them, tame them
They're never gonna stop
Chorus:
Walk that walk
Talk that talk
Walk that walk
Talk that talk
CRAZY!!
BABIES!!
When they were born
They were born to be wild
Some say I'm another devil's child
Crazy babies in a world of their own
I am a crazy babe
You'd better leave me alone tonight
Nobody's gonna change me, change me
I'm gonna do this 'til I die
Nobody's gonna tame me, tame me
So you better not try
Chorus:
Walk that walk
Talk that talk
Walk that walk
Talk that talk
Solo
CRAZY!!
BABIES!!
No use talkin' 'bout if they'll last
Where they're goin' or about they're past
They're just a result of our society
So frustrated
Just like you and me, that's right
Nobody's gonna change them, change them
They've gone over the top
Nobody's gonna tame them, tame them
They're never gonna stop
Chorus:
Walk that walk
Talk that talk
Walk that walk
Talk that talk

Choose Stand Tall
Who will stand tall
at appointed trashing table
chosen accounting time?
Who are the strong ones?
I am inherently far stronger
than quitters can choose to be.
I am strong enough to choose.
How I will choose to live.
How I will choose to die.
