How can you be content to be in the world like tulips in a garden, to make a fine show, and be good for nothing.

Very Fine Love
(bob dipiero / jim photoglo)
I never knew how good love could be
All Id ever known was make believe
So many times Ive played the fool
Baby, til I met you
Now everything has fallen in place
You can tell by the smile on my face
For every lonely tear that Ive cried
Im that much satisfied
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
You know it when you find one
Shining like a diamond
Its so fine, fine, very fine love
How did I ever live without your love?
Its the only thing Im certain of
No matter what Im going through
I know I can count on you
You are more precious to me every day
Life is better now in every way
You dont have to lay the world at my feet
You have made my world complete
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love, oh, oh
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
You know it when you find one
Shining like a diamond
Its so fine, so fine, very fine love
Ive got no apprehensions
Youve got the best intentions
Weve got a, weve got a, weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
Weve got a fine, fine, very fine love
A very fine
A very fine love
Very fine love, ah, ha, ooh, hoo
So fine, hey, so fine
So good, so good love

Houses Of The Holy
(page/plant)
Let me take you to the movies. can I take you to the show
Let me be yours ever truly. can I make your garden grow
From the houses of the holy, we can watch the white doves go
From the door comes satans daughter, and it only goes to show. you know.
Theres an angel on my shoulder, in my hand a sword of gold
Let me wander in your garden. and the seeds of love Ill sow. you know.
So the world is spinning faster. are you dizzy when youre stoned
Let the music be your master. will you heed the masters call
Oh... satan and man.
Said there aint no use in crying. cause it will only, only drive you mad
Does it hurt to hear them lying? was this the only world you had? oh-oh
So let me take you, take you to the movie. can I take you, baby, to the show.
Why dont you let me be yours ever truly. can I make your garden grow
You know.

As Good As You've Been To This World
Janis at woodstock
Live your loving life,
Live it all the best you can.
If you pay no attention, darling
To what you might ever hear from your man,
I think you're just like a servant
And try to keep it all to yourself.
Don't you know it makes the world go round,
You gotta go and honey share the world.
Come on, come on, come on!
As good as you've been to this world
So good i wanna be right back to you.
As good as you've been now.
As good as you've been to this whole wide world,
So good i wanna be.
As good as you've been now, yeah,
As good as you've been to this whole wide world,
As good as you've been, babe,
So good i wanna be here.
Ain't no use in being faithful,
I see you lookin' at the sky.
I know what's in it make you happy there,
But it only make you cry.
I think you got good intentions,
They don't manage to show through.
Whatever you give to the world outside,
I wanna give it right back to you, yeah!
Come on, come on, come on!
So you meet somebody on the street,
You like to treat him mighty fine.
Or you meet him on the street
And you give him a real hard time.
It's gonna come on home babe,
I said it's gonna come right back home to you.
It's gonna visit you now.
Oh!!!
Good as you've been to this whole wide world,
As good as you've been, babe,
So good i wanna be here.
Good as you've been to this whole wide world,
As good as you've been, babe,
So good i wanna be here.
Alright, the way you love your mother,
The way you love your sister, your brother,
The way you love your aunt, your uncle,
Anybody now, everybody now.
Good as you've been babe, come on!
Good as you've been babe, alright!
Good as you've been babe, come on!
Good as you've been babe, alright!
Good as you've been babe, hey!
Good as you've been babe!
'cause i'm just gonna give it, babe!
And i'm just gonna make you want it, babe.
And i'm just gonna show you now.
Hey, good as you been babe, alright.
Hey hey, alright,
Oh yeah, oh yeah!
Oh yeah, oh yeah!
Oh yeah, oh yeah!
Oh yeah, oh yeah!
Oh yeah, oh yeah!
Oh yeah!
Oh!
Alright!
Alright, thank you. that was a tune by nick gravenites, a very good songwriter, called as good as you've been to this world (that's how good i'm gonna be to you), so you better make it good. ok.

The Miracle Of Love
How many sorrows
Do you try to hide
In a world of illusion
Thats covering your mind?
Ill show you something good
Oh Ill show you something good.
When you open your mind
Youll discover the sign
That theres something
Youre longing to find...
The miracle of love
Will take away your pain
When the miracle of love
Comes your way again.
Cruel is the night
That covers up your fears.
Tender is the one
That wipes away your tears.
There must be a bitter breeze
To make you sting so viciously -
They say the greatest coward
Can hurt the most ferociously.
But Ill show you something good.
Oh Ill show you something good.
If you open your heart
You can make a new start
When your crumbling world falls apart.
(chorus repeats...)

Im Coming Out
Im coming out
Im coming
Im coming out
Im coming out
Im coming out
Im coming out
Im coming out
I want the world to know
Got to let it show
Im coming out
I want the world to know
I got to let it show
Theres a new me coming out
And I just had to live
And I wanna give
Im completely positive
I think this time around
I am gonna do it
Like you never do it
Like you never knew it
Ooh, Ill make it through
The time has come for me
To break out of the shell
I have to shout
That Im coming out
Im coming out
I want the world to know
Got to let it show
Im coming out
I want the world to know
I got to let it show
Im coming out
I want the world to know
Got to let it show
Im coming out
I want the world to know
I got to let it show
Ive got to show the world
All that I wanna be
And all my billities
Theres so much more to me
Somehow, I have to make them
Just understand
I got it well in hand
And, oh, how Ive planned
Im spreadin love
Theres no need to fear
And I just feel so glad
Everytime I hear:
Im coming out
I want the world to know
Got to let it show
Im coming out
I want the world to know
I got to let it show

My Childhood Garden
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
lush and green
it was so happy it made me scream
my joy and hopes
and all my mopes
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
with the ups and downs
when i jumped i could not touch the ground
with my purle ponys
it made it homey
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
flying high
with the little lies
the grass fine
up in the sky my kite
my childhood garden
my childhood garden
now in the past
i now know that it can never last
now as i get taller
it was differnt when i was smaller
my childhood garden

My Garden
The world is sadly sick, they say,
And plagued by woe and pain.
But look! How looms my garden gay,
With blooms in golden reign!
With lyric music in the air,
Of joy fulfilled in song,
I can't believe that anywhere
Is hate and harm and wrong.
A paradise my garden is,
And there my day is spent;
A steep myself in sunny bliss,
Incredibly content.
Feeling that I am truly part
Of peace so rapt and still,
There's not a care within my heart . . .
How can the world be ill?
Aye, though the land be sick they say,
And named unto pain,
My garden never was so gay,
So innocent, so sane.
My roses mock at misery,
My thrushes vie in song . . .
When only beauty I can see,
How can the world be wrong?

Spring Flowers ~ Tulips
Tulips shyly smiling, greet the spring
Tightly closed when at
First we meet
Tulips slowly opening, begin to sing
Gaining volume
Ever sweet
No longer shy, as days grow longer,
Raising their heads
They begin to flirt
Tulips dressed in many a color
Breezes swirling
Each floral skirt
Tulips, brazen painted hussies,
Part their bright lips trying to seduce
The busy buzzing bees
Far too bold for dainty tussies
Vibrant Tulip flowers produce
Visions certain to please

Doin' Fine
Don't feel bad,don't feel good,
Feel alright 'cos i'm doing as i should,
Don't look back,no i don't have the time,
I guess i'm doing fine.
Got no bags to slow me down,
Travelling light but my feet are on the ground,
Got no message,i ain't got a dime,
I guess i'm doing fine.
Don't need no paper telling me bad news,
No politician giving their views,
Don't need no doctor to tell me i'm well,
I feel like heaven and i've been through hell.
Talking straight i don't feel confused,
Don't want nothing,i've got nothing more to lose,
Don't need no credit, don't show me where to sign,
I guess i'm doing fine.
I guess i'm doing fine.
I guess i'm doing fine.
Don't come looking for me,
'cos i'm doing fine,
No missing persons,
'cos i'm doing fine,
Don't go home,
'cos i'm doing fine.

The Garden
My heart is a garden tired with autumn,
Heaped with bending asters and dahlias heavy and dark,
In the hazy sunshine, the garden remembers April,
The drench of rains and a snow-drop quick and clear as a spark;
Daffodils blowing in the cold wind of morning,
And golden tulips, goblets holding the rain --
The garden will be hushed with snow, forgotten soon, forgotten --
After the stillness, will spring come again?

Fine Again
You travel back
Unwind and unpack
And it's fine again
I get a ring
You're bringing me things
And it's fine again
Everyone wonders
How we stay in love
And I tell them
That it's hell when it's bad
But it's good
Good
Good when it's good
And boy it is good to be back
To be back
To be back
I give a shake
You don't even break
Cause it's fine again
All the world looks like
It's taking a bath
Cause it's fine again
Everyone wonders
How we stay in love
And I tell them
That it's hell when it's bad
But it's good
Good
So good when it's good
And boy it is good to be back
To be back
To be back

God Only Knows
I may not always love you
But as long as there are stars above you
Youll never need to doubt it
Ill make you so sure about it
cause God only knows what Id be without you
And if you should ever leave me
The world would still go on, believe me
And the world could show nothing to me
But what good will living do me
God only knows what Id be without you
God only knows what Id be without you
And if you should ever leave me
Life would still go on, believe me
And the world could show nothing to me
So what good will living do me
God only knows what Id be without you
God only knows what Id be without you
God only knows what Id be without you
God only knows what Id be without you

The Garden
The Garden
By: Adam M. Snow
The garden blooms to your delight;
to and from this very night.
When you are but one;
this garden blooms until you're done.
Keep that in mind but out of sight;
this garden is full of roses so white.
Open up and let shine the sun;
for Springtime has only begun.
Show off your garden so bright;
for there is no need to fight.
Now go on, no need to run;
when you're in your garden my son.

Ain’t We Baby
Ain’t we got a good thing going, honey
Ain’t we, ain’t we baby
Ain’t we got a fine little pair of young, uns
Ain’t we, ain’t we baby
A cotton top boy and a blue-eyed girl
Prettiest things in this old world
Oh Baby, we got a good thing going
We got us a house out in the country
Got us a yard full of young pine trees
Got an old hound dog that’s full of fleas
And bushels of love and we’re living free
Oh Baby, we got a good thing going
We’re clearing land for a garden spot
Gonna have a bean and tomater crop
Raise a couple of hogs, we’ll have ham to eat
And next winter we won’t buy groceries
Oh Baby, we got a good thing going
Ain’t we got a good thing going, Honey
Ain’t we, Ain’t we Baby
Ain’t we got a fine little pair of young’uns
Ain’t we, Ain’t we Baby
A cotton top boy and a blue-eyed girl
Prettiest things in this old world
Oh Baby, we got a good thing going

Emily's Garden
The Red Tulips are so captivating--
And the Dandelions just seem to roar---
Astonishing Mother Earth-who'd just given birth--
To the Daffodils only just moments before;
The Yellow colour is so delightful--
That it all but drowns out the Buttercups hue--
Blazing like no other in the Garden----
They are what give this Garden its majestic view;
Let us not forget the Crocus standing proud---
Nor the Violet or Lilac in the Garden Glen---
A Purple Haze can be sooo insightful---
Most especially with the Lavender 'round the bend;
Oh sooo many colours complete it--
This Garden of the World-upon Gods Green Earth--
That i simply must take time to express it---
To say: 'Thank you' for all the flowers most glorious birth! ;
'She slept beneath a tree--
Remembered by me
I touched her cradle mute-
She recognized the foot--
Put on her carmine suit
And see'

The Sign
Around the nation, around the world
Whats been going down?
A million voices, one question hurled
Heard in every town
All of the people, one simple plea
What will happen now?
Asked in concern for their destiny
Got to know somehow
They say
They say
Everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
I saw the sign
So if you want to know whats going on
Going round and round
Youd better ask before your world is gone
Gone without a sound
They say
They say
Everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
I saw the sign
Everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
Everything will be fine
I saw the sign
