My parents were overprotective because you could get kidnapped and bombs were exploding in the streets.

People are afraid
People are afraid
of the year 2012 that are coming
and expect something to happen
that is going to tear the world apart,
but maybe man himself
is his greatest enemy.
At times I wonder about guns
killing in Afghanistan and Iraq
and bombs dropping from bombers
there on people
while a super power
like before
stand free from her deeds
and of nuclear bombs
exploding on Hiroshima and Nagasaki
not a lot is said about
and people look only
at the inhumanities
of Hitler and Stalin
and almost nothing
is said about Harry S. Truman.

Run Crying Into The Night
Addictions in the home, parents fight
A child runs crying into the night
Hand over her mouth, he's there to rape
Woman runs crying into the night
Bullets are flying, kids are dying
Mothers run crying into the night
Bombs are dropping, houses exploding
People run crying into the night
The world turns evil, fear is building
Vicki runs crying into the night

You don't get a chance to take a breath but when you do, you have some really good comedy moments that ease up on the tension that the movie is centered around which is Kim being kidnapped and her son and husband being kidnapped and the jeopardy that they're in.

A diplomat had been kidnapped, a cabinet minister had been kidnapped, they were under threats of murder. The police forces were rather tired. After a whole week, we were unable to find those that had effected the kidnappings.

Let the scoundrels return
Like a lightning bolt
coming out of a blue sky
there are bombs falling
in a field where maze
stand green and ripe in neat rows
and craters are left and the field is on fire.
A few more bombs fall exploding
between cattle grazing in the field
and some are blasted to pieces
and the cows in terror forget about their milk.
The farmer is woken from his afternoon nap
and grabs his hunting rifle.
“We hit the wrong target”
the flight leader confirms
and the farmer waits with a gun in hand
on the planes to return and says:
“let the scoundress return.”

Soldier's Memories
Fresh from high school, new to basic
intense training, formed my buddies
from all over, different worlds
one goal, serve their country
enter war zone, arrived shock
Bullets flying, bombs exploding
minds wandering, buddies bonding
scenes beautiful, children playing
Scouting area, danger ahead
exploding IED, metal twisting
metal flying, Buddies screaming
fire burning, buddies bleeding
piercing pain, saving others
dying moans, can't be saved
blood flowing, bones bearing
injuries severe, may die
buddies dying, iam surviving
rescued, healing, will recover
buddies gone but not forgotten! !

A Street Child
Who will care for me when i am born into this world?
For day and night i've been walking on the streets;
And i have to struggle to survive for i am a street child.
No, not even one!
For many parents do not even know their children;
And i was born into a lovely home but now,
I do live on the street as a street child.
Lust and sex,
We were born out of it;
But how many parents still know that we do exist?
How many?
They really do not care abour us,
And i have to struggle to survive on my own;
How many days more left for me?
And i have to make ends meet from the streets;
Because there is nobody around to help me,
And i have no place called home again.
A street child that i am,
And of the many rivers to cross for my survival;
How many social workers do know of our plights?
How many?
How many streets do we have to sleep on?
How many? Hopw many governmenets do we have to wait for?
How many?
Yet still i am a street child.
Who really care about us?
And who really care about me?
My parents do not even know my where about;
Right from Kwazulu Natal Province to Tingitingi,
And from Obbia to Nima!
How many do care?
I am born into this world but,
I am living on the street;
And who will care about me?

Out There' And In Number
There are those who believe,
They can do as they please.
Even expressing disrespect,
In everything they do...
That might cause others to get upset.
And expect these people do,
To be forgiven.
After an apology has been delivered.
With attempts to blame...
Every aspect of their nonsense,
On a childhood lived.
This explanation may include...
Negligent parents.
Or an overprotective smothering done.
Or pets that created their allergies.
Or...
Ancestors who infected the family bloodline,
By not using Food and Drug Administration approved...
Pesticides,
On homegrown vegetables.
And this left a scar that tormented,
By the acknowledgement...
Of those vegetable not being totally fresh and organic.
Hey...
These folks are 'out there'.
And in number!

Bombay
'Bomb-Bay'!
Of the bomb attacks on the Hotels in Bombay like 'Bomb-Bay';
But, why should some people kill others?
Our body needs fuel than bombs,
This life needs peace than bombs,
So try to be a role model to others than killing them.
Don't force them to eat what they don't want to,
And don't throw bombs around to kill the people around you;
For, why should i congratulate you of your bomb attacks? ! !
Life is very peacefully so,
Live and let us live too!
And, why throw the bombs against others to kill them?
Bombs in Bombay,
Why should the sweet fragrance of your love be destroyed always?
Why should the negative people around us always carry along bombs?
For words cannot express my sorrow and,
I will never forget this day.

War is...
War is fighting brothers,
War is bombs exploding,
War is crying mothers,
War is bodies floating.
War is following orders,
War is young dated,
War is falling mortars,
War is time wasted.
War is mixed blood,
War is true sadness,
War is wet mud,
War is ultimate madness.
War is innocent deaths,
War is many tears,
War is unwelcomed guests
And they all last for years.

Death Of The World.
Brutal mutilation
World abomination
This is where your soul will come to die
Your corpse will rot in hell
Taken, from the battlefield
On which you fell
The war in which you fought
The round of ammunition that you caught
Caused by,
Politicians holocaust.
Shells exploding
Rounds rolling
A-bombs dropped from the sky
Killing a city,
County,
Country
Destruction of the world
And we just stand
And watch it die

Suppose Germany had developed two bombs before we had any bombs. And suppose Germany had dropped one bomb, say, on Rochester and the other on Buffalo, and then having run out of bombs she would have lost the war. Can anyone doubt that we would then have defined the dropping of atomic bombs on cities as a war crime, and that we would have sentenced the Germans who were guilty of this crime to death at Nuremberg and hanged them? But, again, don't misunderstand me. The only conclusion we can draw is that governments acting in a crisis are guided by questions of expediency, and moral considerations are given very little weight, and that America is no different from any other nation in this respect.

Enough, Enough,
Sounding sirens, roaring planes,
Parading men, thundering guns,
Rising mushroom, exploding bombs,
Launched missiles, advancing troops,
All are behind the human existence,
How long Mankind might exist,
On the Earth.
Think awhile,
Resting your head on the pillow,
When your engagements allow you,
And when worries do not linger around,
Pray to Almighty: It is enough, it is enough,
Now supply not the world with characters,
Merely with heads stuffed with straw.

They may try to sensor my poetry
They may try to sensor my poetry,
may classify it as unwanted literature,
not true to political correctness,
it may be seen as a threat to the country,
they may throw it away as rubbish
in the nearest bin
but I will write about beauty, love
help people dream
and nothing will stop me
to write about atrocities,
about suppression, about bombs
exploding in the street,
about war and even jails
and as long as the precipice is there
I will be writing about it as well,
as life does not have only
beautiful, peaceful
and religious things to tell
but sometimes its own particular kind of hell.

I Walk These Streets Alone
I walk these streets alone why U ask, because that's all i know and the reason i'm so ignorant is because him always on the go
I walk these streets alone meeting customer after customer getting in and out of random cars
I walk these streets alone as if the streets are empty as i go on my devilish duty.
I walk these streets alone clueless to the danger surrounding me, as if him invisible to any danger.
I walk the streets alone as if every person i meet sees me as a stranger.
I walk these streets alone, as sad as it may seem i prefer my own company but at times i still get lonely.
I walk these streets alone but don't feel sorry for me, for i know what i'm getting myself into. and i know the consequences if i get caught
I walk these streets alone regardless of what I've been taught...

Prized As A Talent
Trying to initiate motivation,
In an adult uninspired.
And believes procrastination is a blessing,
And prized as a talent...
Only the chosen are born not to depart with.
Can be compared to being hired to teach children,
To ignore the use of curse words...
They have heard from their parents since birth.
As their parents make claims,
Their children have been influenced...
By hoodlums who walk the streets,
In their neighborhood.
