Tears
Never would say
I never needed anyone
Not now I have knowing
Of the real love
And I need to have you
I could never give it up
Cause the hurt would be too much
And the feeling Im feeling
Is a feeling I like
Its only when Im with you
That I feel all right
Im amazed that its come to this
I love you to tears
I love you to tears
Falling into you
Ive fallen on my feet
My world was only turning
So that we could meet
And I want you always
I could never run away
Working destiny today
And the giving Im giving
Is a giving I like
Its easy when Im with you
To give into life
Im amazed that its come to this
I love you to tears
I love you to tears
Happier than high, this is happening
So cool to have this salt water on my skin
Its not a pool of sorrow that Im harbouring
These are tears of joy that Im swimming in
Happier than high, this is happening
So cool to have this salt water on my skin
Its not a pool of sorrow that Im harbouring
These are tears of joy that Im swimming in
Happier than high
Im happier than high
Im happier than high
Im happier than high
I love you to tears
I love you to tears

The Nagging Wife Won The Prize
There was a news from New Zealand,
about a nagging wife and a hesitant husband.
The wife was nagging her husband to buy a lottery ticket,
who was reluctant and hesitant,
postponing until 2 minutes before the sale closed.
The ticket won the prize.....the highest and the most.
It was about 4.2 millions NZ dollars.
They could'nt be happier.
The husband thanks his nagging wife,
for the rest of his life,
because the nagging has its bright side,
making them millionaire overnight.
Rockets To Roses
Dedicated to My late husband Robert McFarland
Not so long ago in happier days rockets were needed
to put a man on the moon.
My husband succeeded. Then came retirement, what would he do?
He was a scientist, this he knew.
Soon he had a garden of roses like none
I had ever seen.
Loving care he gave them until his life was through.
This I try to do!
I know he enjoys the ones I take to him at his
place of rest.
Sleep well, my love, I am doing my best!

The Seahorse
The seahorse doesn’t do divorce:
It picks a spouse for life.
The wife’s the husband and, perforce,
The husband is the wife.
A husband, feeling rightly proud
(As husbands are, of course) ,
Will say of her who’s well endowed:
‘My wife’s hung like a horse.’

My Husband.
Husband is someone;
You spend most of your life with.
And with him;
You are for years.
My life has become strong;
For my husband is not wrong.
My life has become independent;
For my husband never let me dependent.
My life has become pure;
For my husband had every cure.
My life has become romantic;
For my husband is very aromatic.
My life had a new beginning;
For my husband was nearing.
And the most valuable gift-
My husband has given me;
Are my 2 wonderful and the best kids-
And I thank God,
For the wonderful family he has given me.

Where It Was At Back Then
Husband,
last night I dreamt
they cut off your hands and feet.
Husband,
you whispered to me,
Now we are both incomplete.
Husband,
I held all four
in my arms like sons and daughters.
Husband,
I bent slowly down
and washed them in magical waters.
Husband,
I placed each one
where it belonged on you.
'A miracle,'
you said and we laughed
the laugh of the well-to-do.

On The Day Mrs Modfig's Husband Died
On the day
Mrs Modfig's husband died
she was being rogered
by a Spaniard
she'd met
in Santa Fe
staring at
the off white ceiling
with a
I'm being
well taken care of
feeling
and didn't give
her husband
a second thought
thinking him
back home
working hard
sipping the sherry
smoking the cigar
feet up
watching TV
maybe seeing
that slut from the store
as he had before
no she was content
having this Spaniard
giving her the works
making the night
feeling young again
hoping for more sunshine
far away
from the rain
and her husband
and his moans and groans
and his occasional
rogerings
in their safe
and boring bed
and later
at the funeral
in her black hat
and dress and coat
and matching gloves
she shed
the crocodile tears
remembering
other loves.

Softy
Suddenly I hate my lying
and it with my unrational feeling all fade away I need to say
It was an unclear picture such a long time ago
What do I to do with it?
Still loving.
It's me who get on over my husband
Not my husband-to-be be ragious
I'm harder enough
Than your softness

I Am Fred Astaire
I'm under the assumption
that I'm gonna be the one thats leaving you
tonight, tonight...
Well I flipped every switch
that I could find on my way out just to upset you more
(just to keep you busy) just to make you angry (just because you were right) just because you were...
All tired scream safe haven,
Let's get this out and on the table...
Fast forward to say four o'clock,
I'm keeping time, I'm holdin', we're always holdin',
(we're always holdin), we're always holdin, holding out...
And that's what got us here in the first place,
you should have never come here alone
(you should have never bothered at all), bothered at all...
Scream older and wiser, still filled with resentment
We get it, we get it...Oh (I haven't been happier since)
Older and wiser, still filled with resentment
We get it, we get it...Oh, Bree Ann (I haven't been happier since, I haven't been happier, not since.)
Well five o'clock the floor caught fire with footsteps (my footsteps)
And spread like a disease to the door
(I'm stuttering through it but I hear it) I-I-I hear its good t-t-to stick to what you know
And you know a whole lot of this, it all could have been avoided when
you were courtside for this nightmare,
Well since then I got myself come and listen...
Older and wiser, still filled with resentment
We get it, we get it...Oh (I haven't been happier since)
Older and wiser, still filled with resentment
We get it, we get it...Oh, Bree Ann (I haven't been happier since)
I haven't been happier since (Bree Ann)
I haven't been happier since (Bree Ann)
I haven't been happier since (Bree Ann)
I haven't been happier not since...
Well, it used to take so much more (I used to, I used to too)
It used to take so much more (I used to, I used to too)
I used to, I used to too...

Happy Children
We are children
We are happy
Happy in this world
But not so happier
Than the butterflies
Fly among the flowers.
We are children
We are happy
Happy in this world
But not so happier
Than the Stars
Lighting tiny lamps
In the Sky.
We are children
We are happy
Happier in this world
But not so happier
Than the babies
Asleep in their mothers’ lap.

My Husband
It is true:
My husband
has never
taken out
the garbage
from our little house
in the suburbs.
My husband
has never
taken our children
out for the night
to trick-or-treating
as I sit
on the porch in a witch hat.
My husband
has never
come home from
a long day
to a special meal
I have prepared
just for him.
My husband
has never
told me he loves me
beside a warm fire
on our honeymoon.
But he will.

Closer
So leave your taxi waiting
And turn and close my door
And sit back down where you were sitting
A little closer than before
And when you look that serious
It just makes me want you more
And I've been meaning to tell you
The closer you get, the better I feel
The closer you are, the more I see
Why everyone says that I look happier
When you're around
The closer you get, the better I feel
And yes I know you're nervous
Never seen you so unsure
You haven't touched your food tonight
And you're drinking more and more
And there's no need to hurry
Take your time I'll still be here
And I've been meaning to tell you
The closer you get, the better I feel
The closer you are, the more I see
Why everyone says that I look happier
When you're around, the better I feel
The closer you get, the better you see
The closer you are, the more I see
Why everyone says that I look happier
When you're around
The closer you get, the better I feel
The better I feel, the better I feel
We've been circling for time baby
We're coming down to land tonight
The wait is over and now it's easy
Everything is fine
The closer you get, the better I feel
The closer you are, the more I see
Why everyone says that I look happier
When you're around, the better I feel
The closer you get, the better you see
The closer you are, the more I see
Why everyone says, that I look happier
When you're around, the closer you get
The better I feel

At Bay
Wife
Reach out your arms, and hold me close and fast.
Tell me there are no memories of your past
That mar this love of ours, so great, so vast.
Husband
Some truths are cheapened when too oft averred.
Does not the deed speak louder than the word?
(dear God, that old dream woke again and stirred.)
Wife
As you love me, you never loved before?
Though oft you say it, say it yet once more.
My heart is jealous of those days of yore.
Husband
Sweet wife, dear comrade, mother of my child,
My life is yours by memory undefiled.
(it stirs again, that passion brief and wild.)
Wife
You never knew a happier hour than this?
We two alone, our hearts surcharged with bliss,
Nor other kisses, sweet as my own kiss?
Husband
I was a thirsty field, long parched with drouth;
You were the warm rain, blowing from the south.
(But, ah, the crimson madness of her mouth!)
Wife
You would not, if you could, go down life’s track
For just one little moment and bring back
Some vanished rapture that you miss or lack?
Husband
I am content. You are my life, my all.
(One burning hour, but one, could I recall;
God, how men lie when driven to the wall!)

Feeling
Deep in my heart
I have this feeling...
Feeling to be good
Feeling to be kind
Feeling to be open
Noble, gentle, and humble...
Feeling to be helpful
Feeling to be truthful
Feeling to be respectful
Faithful, cheerful, and thoughtful...
Feeling to be friendly
Feeling to be sincere
Feeling to be polite
Considerate, obedient, and honest...
And a feeling to make
The world a happy nest.
Search your heart
And tap that feeling
The feeling of serenity
The feeling of tranquillity
The feeling of grace
The feeling of peace
The feeling of love
The feeling of life
The feeling that leads you
To the realm of light.
Nurture this feeling
Think and let it grow...
The feeling will rid
The world of its sorrow
And this feeling will bring
An all new tomorrow.

Happier Than The Morning Sun
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom bom bom bom
Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that it would be
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that it would be
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
All my life I was alone,
Didnt think Id find my part,
Now I see theres joy inside your arms.
Every day I searched for the star,
That never was in the sky,
And now I see this star is on earth.
And Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that I would be -thats
What you told me yea
If I gave you a chance to come inside my life.
(I am) and I am happier than the morning sun
And thats the way it will always be -thats the way
It will always be
Ever since the day you came inside of my life.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Dum...

Yea
And Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said that it would be -baby thats
What you told me yea
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
-bring you inside my life
Im happier than the morning sun
And thats the way you said it would be
-woa thats what you said it would be
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom bom
Bom bom bom I love you.
Happier than the morning sun
Thats the way you said it would be
-baby thats what you told me yea
If I should ever bring you inside my life.
-bring you inside my life yea
Im happier than the stars above
-yea the morning stars above
Thats the way you said that it would be
-thats what you told me yea
If I should ever bring you inside of my life.
I believe that everyone should be

The Happy Divorcee
Such a lovely person and so nice to know
By the smile on her face she has the inner glow
The windows of her soul are open to light
She is always so cheerful and bubbly and bright.
In her early fifties her brown hair flecked with gray
Perhaps physically she has known a far better day
To her horrible ex husband she was a good wife
And without him she lives a much happier life.
Her ex husband has re-married on her he used to cheat
And when drunk he was aggressive her he used to beat
He done his best for to lower her sense of self esteem
Life for her better without him much better 'twould seem
Their only daughter in her mid twenties is married in a town far away
Her young son will be three on his birthday in May
At Christmas her daughter and grandson she will see
And life is looking good for the happy divorcee.

Be kind and courteous to the husband
Who / which is
supporting the elderly woman?
Is it the walker or the husband?
The walker never fails,
The husband sometimes forgets;
The walker never protests,
The husband sometimes pretests
and raises his voice;
You can be rude to the walker,
But be kind and courteous to the husband.
