Strutting All Your Stuff On Main Street
On that avenue where your heartbreak is chased,
I follow you with wishes,
All your bitter kept feelings from you...
Fades away.
And I would see you,
Strutting all your stuff on Main Street.
I'd like to see you,
Strutting all your stuff on Main Street.
And with your head down like its been really tough,
Looking as if you're about to give life up...
But I wish,
You would 'dis' this to strut on Main Street.
Oh yes I miss you...
Strutting all your stuff on Main Street.
Just know I've done a boo-hoo too!
And that didn't do a thing to prove,
Anybody noticing would rescue...
Me from my grief to free it.
A public boo-hooing is not cool.
Since nobody will undo,
Your heartbreak that is felt.
Nobody else but..
Yourself to get over.
On that avenue where your heartbreak is chased,
I follow you with wishes to replace,
All those bitter feelings that you face...
To fade them away from your mind to stay,
And I'd see you...
Strutting all your stuff on Main Street.
Oh yes I miss you,
Strutting all your stuff on Main Street.
And I really want to see you,
Just strutting all your stuff on Main Street.
I'd like to see you,
Just strutting all your stuff.
With an attitude,
That you can't flaunt enough.
And doing that with a strutting that you do,
On Main Street.
I'd like to see you...
Strutting all your stuff on Main Street

Main Street Eyes
This whole country is scared of failure.
My head keeps trying to sell me ambition.
But in my heart, I want self-respect.
Theres a conflict.
Boy, I feel so outgunned today
But Ill get up and fight back, anyway
You and I aare not huge mainstream stars
But unlike them, were really what we are
We got main street eyes
Watchin as the big boys roll by
Under rotten television skies
We got main street eyes
I saw a kitten squashed in the street
I read about a plastic surgeon and his art collection.
We are played for suckers all the time
Phony rock and roll
Its a crime
I dont want to dip myself in trash
I dont want to give myself for cash
We got main street eyes
Tryin to do whats decent with our lives
Under funny television skies
We got main street eyes
Walkin around sometimes
I see a tension under the surface
People are just about ready to explode.
So hold me, and trust me
I love you, dont worry.
Keep your main street eyes
Keep your main street eyes
Keep your main street eyes
Eyes
Eyes

Vote for the Future of Big Bird
Please vote for the future of our children.
Vote to fund PBS, an oasis of knowledge, get even
On Election Day. Vote for Sesame Street,
Vote for Main Street, not Wall Street.
Vote for the re-election of the President,
Who supports student loans for our college students.
Vote for the man who is a strong proponent
Of investing in America, and in the future of our citizens.
The Hedge Fund Managers have sufficient money;
The wealthy ought to pay their fair share of taxes accordingly.
Vote for Big Bird and Main Street,
An tell Wall Street that the party is over,
No more business as usual; it is over.
Give a chance to Big Bird and Main Street.

Main Street
(For S.M.L.)
I like to look at the blossomy track of the moon upon the sea,
But it isn't half so fine a sight as Main Street used to be
When it all was covered over with a couple of feet of snow,
And over the crisp and radiant road the ringing sleighs would go.
Now, Main Street bordered with autumn leaves, it was a pleasant thing,
And its gutters were gay with dandelions early in the Spring;
I like to think of it white with frost or dusty in the heat,
Because I think it is humaner than any other street.
A city street that is busy and wide is ground by a thousand wheels,
And a burden of traffic on its breast is all it ever feels:
It is dully conscious of weight and speed and of work that never ends,
But it cannot be human like Main Street, and recognise its friends.
There were only about a hundred teams on Main Street in a day,
And twenty or thirty people, I guess, and some children out to play.
And there wasn't a wagon or buggy, or a man or a girl or a boy
That Main Street didn't remember, and somehow seem to enjoy.
The truck and the motor and trolley car and the elevated train
They make the weary city street reverberate with pain:
But there is yet an echo left deep down within my heart
Of the music the Main Street cobblestones made beneath a butcher's cart.
God be thanked for the Milky Way that runs across the sky,
That's the path that my feet would tread whenever I have to die.
Some folks call it a Silver Sword, and some a Pearly Crown,
But the only thing I think it is, is Main Street, Heaventown.

Main Man
Youre my main man
When you call my heart goes sailin
My feet refuse to touch the ground
When you come around
Youre my main man
Thats what the neighborhoods been sayin
Even mother knows your name
Ill take your love and never be the same
Chorus:
Oh, youre my main man
I am your only woman
Oh youre my main man
Forever
Youre my main man
Paid the gypsy to keep prayin
Ill keep a candle lit for love
And watch the street
For you from up above
Chorus
Youre my main man
When you call my heart goes sailin
Ill keep a candle lit for love
And watch the street
For you from up above
Chorus

Jesus Is The Main Man
Jesus is the main man.
That's it.
No more comments!
Jesus is the main man.
You can zip your parted lips, now!
Jesus is the main man.
Forget those pity stops at pits.
Jesus is the main man.
This you 'must' admit, now!
Jesus is the main man.
That's it.
No more comments on it made...
To degrade or say what else may fit.
Jesus is the main man.
Know this,
And get lifted quick!
Jesus is the main man.
Understand this as best you can.
Jesus is the main man.
Commanded when you pray,
Now!
Jesus is the main man.
That's it...
No need for further comments on it!
Jesus is the main man.
He's like a gift one gets,
To share unlimited!
Jesus is the main man.
It's hard to sit still,
When something received
Is known
To be real!

Magneto & Titanium Man
Well I was talking last night
Magneto and titanium man . . .
We were talking about you, babe,
Oo --- they said ---
You were involved in a robbery
That was due to happen
At a quarter to three
In the main street.
I didnt believe them
Magneto and titanium man . . .
But when the crimson dynamo
Finally assured me, well, I knew
You were involved in a robbery
That was due to happen
At a quarter to three
In the main street.
So we went out
Magneto and titanium man . . .
And the crimson dynamo
Came along for the ride
We went to town with the library
And we swung all over that
Long tall bank in the main street
Well there she were and to my despair
Shes a five-star criminal
Breaking the code
Magneto said now the time come
To gather our forces and run!!!
Oh no . . . . . .
This cant be so . . . . . .
And then it occurred to me!
You couldnt be bad
Magneto was mad!
Titanium too!
And the crimson dynamo
Just couldnt cut it no more
You were the law . . . . . .

Stories
Through every window, we look out
what we see on the other side
holds many stories waiting to unfold.
Stories of great achievements
within someone’s life.
Stories of gathering love
found with in open arms.
Stories of perusing heartaches
where someone has gone away.
Stories a million fold
that surround every living thing.
Stories we are not aware of,
but happen before our eyes.
Stories to share with all
from those who can see them unfold.
The next time you look out a window
try and see what is really there,
the stories that are everywhere.

On The Street
On the street
On the street
O, O, On the street
On the street
O, O, On the street
[Everybody dance]
[Watch for the difference]
On the street
{Breaking on broadway]
O, O, On the street
[Shaking on sunset strip]
On the street
[Like nobody booming supporting that]
Da, da, da, da, da ...
On the street
On the street
Dancing
On the street
On the street
Dancing
Dancing
On the street
On the street
[Twisting on the turnpipe]
Dancing
On the street
On the street
On the street ...
Da, da, da, da, ...
Dance on the street ...

Walkin? down on main street
Well, its not the same street like before
Those drinks that Ive been drinkin? were stirred not shaken, ooh its sore
My legs have gone all weak
Its so hard for me to speak anymore
I must get home to bed
And rest my aching head, thats for sure
Drivin? in the country
The grass is green as it was before
Rolled up on that river
Just aint as clean thats for sure
You know my legs have gone all weak
Its so hard for me to speak anymore
I must get home to bed
And rest my aching head, thats for sure
Goin? down to main street to buy some wine
Make some love with that woman of mine
Drink some wine
Love some time
Ah- walkin? down on main street
Well its not the same street like before
Those drinks that Ive been drinkin? were stirred not shaken, ooh its sore
You know my legs have gone all weak
Its so hard for me to speak anymore
Well I must get home to bed
Rest my aching head and thats for sure

Any Street In Any Town
Look down any street
in any town across the land
at the rows of houses there.
Then you begin to wonder
what memories each house shares.
Some of happiness
where dreams have come true.
Some are of sadness
where lives have been hurt by pain.
Some with tragic stories
they never want to share again.
Each house will have many stories
of the individuals whom lived there.
Each story will be different
from all the rest.
Each leave memories
in every room they slept.
Their stories are unending
as new families come along.

A Corner Streetlight
Dark corner in the night
Illuminated by only the moon's light
Unitl the street light
Floods the scene with a glowing light
Nothing stands on the corner
Yet stories, stories of this light
Are told in the night
Stories are told of this corner
A murder, a rape
A suicide, a drug overdose
The street light shows
What the world has to display.
A child troubled, deeply hurt
By a girl who he loved
With all his heart and soul.
She left him torn apart.
The street light, like a stage
Gives him a place to stay
The light shows his sorry tears
Then shows the gun next to his head.
A woman, small
Stands in the light
Screams for help
As the man she sees is doing her unkindly
A man left laying, needle in hand
He got his fix, his final fix.
Theat saved him
From this wretched land.
A woman left bloody
On the post
A knife in her chest
The broken heart bleeds
The street light shows us
Life's evil on display
But when the light turns off, like now
Does it all go away?

Stories
Every year has its own stories in this life,
Every month has its own stories in this life,
Every week has its own stories in this life,
Every day has its own stories in this life,
Every hour has its own stories in this life,
Every minute has its own stories in this life,
And like the muse of the mind as we grow up;
So, we are all with stories to tell in this world.
As white as snow,
As red as blood,
As balck as charcoal,
As green as the grass,
As blue as the sky;
But everybody has stories to tell in this world!
And like the muse o love in the land of beauty,
For each year has its own story.

Main Street
One light blinking off and on
Blood of life in this town is gone
Lost all its pieces but the pawn
Tomorrow stopped coming with the dawn
In my dreams, Ive seen
Things that only seem to happen on the silver screen
When its over theres no walking out
Cuz Ive been all they talk about
Cuz what aint goin down
On main street
I went too early with a friend of mine
Just to see what it was all about
Hit the freeway and it blew my mind,
I had to find a way of gettin out
She said, they say, hey you gotta live a little
In my mind, Id find lost aint living,
Even there in the middle of main street
Yeah....
Never did the things I though I would
Woulda left just didnt know I could
If things dont work like they should
It aint for better but its for good
Cuz in my dreams Ive seen
Things that only seem to happen on the silver screen
When its over theres no walking out
Cuz Ive been all they talk about
Cuz what aint goin down
In my dreams Ive seen
Things that only seem to happen on the silver screen
When its over theres no walking out
Cuz Ive been all they talk about
Cuz what aint goin down
On main street

One Day Someone Will Say The Same Of Me
The hearse through the main street is passing slow
With the funeral cars following in a single row
Is the dead person a he or a she?
One day someone will say the same of me.
And did that person die young or old
And will her or his life story be told?
To the departed that does not matter 'twould seem
As the dead do not have a sense of self esteem.
The funeral towards the cemetery winds it's way
Up through the main street at noon of day
But on the cortege shoppers no interest show
As in and out of shops they go.
The dead from the Land of the living gone
But life for the living must go on
And the same fate surely awaits you and I
As the dead person in the hearse going by.

The main street (01-2009)
The main street
To every corners of the street darkness starts to creep
The awaited hour of triumph of their restless souls
To embrace the night, the world of eternal deep
Shadow’s secret –the flesh’s trade, business of the fools;
Sketch the gloom, the every venture to make it known
The sons of Adam and their flight, in-search of stroke
Their endless desire to fill the chest’s hollow, pawn
Penetrate the hole between them, to palpate before they mock;
The hands who adore the manhood, who praise its strength
The mouth who tastes man’s sweet nectar of purity
That, from the intense dance, there it blows the scent
While the world is asleep –to witness nay the art of insanity,
They, in-vision of touch the belt’s masculinity of she
Before it dies let the thrill -the femininity of he.
Note:
P.U.B. (Pick Up Boys Collection) Issue # 01 series of 2009
“The main street” is a story about the main streets in the cities where these gay-men, homosexuals, bisexuals find their trade –the issue of male prostitution; and the reality of “homosexual culture and their sub-culture”.
