I am told that I had a bad temper, and remember being banished to the back hall until civility returned.

I Remember When
I remember when you was all mine
When ever you told me you loved me,
I believed you everytime you told me.
I remember when you promised me
That you would never leave me for my friend,
Then you did that behind my back.
I remember when we had our first kiss
Your lips was so soft and tender,
And I will always remember how they felt.
I remember when I first met you
I was walking in the hall on a Friday,
And I said hi and so did you.
I remember when you went with me to an appointment
And on our way home we was taking silly pictures,
Those memories was great I would love to relive that day.
I remember when you told me it was over
I remember the date March 22,2011
Of our seven month anniversty,
You told me we needed a brake for awhile
And we might get back together sooner or later.
I remember when I cried all night
Because I wanted you back.

Banished Wolf
Banished wolf chased off from her home
Banished wolf left with no place to roam
Banished wolf lies in the cold rain
Banished wolf tries to ease her pain
Banished wolf begins to cry
Banished wolf wants to die
Banished wolf tries to stop her tears
Banished wolf drowns in her fears
Banished wolf felt her world grow black
As her lover cried death just before the attack
Banished wolf licks her wounds
While her whole world is falling to ruins
Banished wolf cleans her cut
And as she does so her pain ease somewhat
Banished wolf wears her scars
Through a life full of years instead of hours
Banished wolf let the past be the past
Banished wolf left the gloom that it cast
Banished wolf lives her life today
And she would not have it anyother way

I Can Remember
I can remember when I was six
my father would play so many tricks.
and I would fall for them all.
He'd pull coins from my ear.
He'd measure my height on a wall
and say to me,
'My you're getting tall.'
I can remember when I was seven.
he made up stories all about heaven.
He told me that there was no hell.
Then he'd kiss me. I remember his smell.
He called it 'Old Spice.'
I called it nice.
I'd watch him shave the foam from his face.
I can remember it all.
I can remember when I was ten.
My father always knew just when
to make me laugh if I was sad.
I also remember when he got mad.
He'd slam the door and pace the floor
and when his temper would settle down,
he was back to being my dad.
A special remembrance of my father on this Father's Day. I miss you.

I Rememer, .
I Remember, ..
I Remember, seeing cops take you away.
I Remember, it was just the 3 of us.
I Remember, going to see you.
I Remember, talking to you ALL the time.
I Remember, telling you ' I love you.'
I Remember saying, ' Daddy, i miss you.'
I Remember, when you packed your bags.
I Remember you, holding your new born child.
I Remember, when you left me.
I Remember when, i told you i hated you.
I Remember, when i met HIM.
I Remember, when HE called me HIS daughter.
I Remember, HE took your place.
I Remember when, I told HIM ' Dad, i love you.'
I Remember now, im not YOUR daughter, ..
IM HIS.

Thats The Way I Remember It
Ts only natural with time
Details can somehow slip your mind
Something so sweet, though incomplete
You fill the spaces in-between
It never will be that way again
Maybe it wasnt way back when
But to my heart and soul
This is the way the story has to be told
Thats the way (thats the way) I remember it
I remember it that way
From the day I was living there
I remember it that way
Some of our stories fade as we grow older
Some get sweeter every time theyre told
Thats the way (thats the way) I remember you that way
Guess now if the truth were known
Among diamonds they were stones
To say would be fair, girl, nothing compares
To when I called you all my own
So darling dont ever you think twice
Those were the best days of my life
When I held you there
And Ill tell this story this way, time and again
Thats the way (thats the way) I remember it
I remember it that way
From the day I was living there
I remember it that way

I come from a profession which has suffered greatly because of the lack of civility. Lawyers treat each other poorly and it has come home to haunt them. The public will not tolerate a lack of civility.

Momma
Words and music by bob seger
I was the baby brother,
I was the quiet other,
And I remember mother so well.
I was the little stranger,
I never was in danger,
I could a had a manger, pray tell.
Oh, how she could control me,
When I was bad shed scold me,
Sometimes she wouldnt hold me,
And Id cry.
But momma she never told me a lie -
Momma she never told me a lie.
I used to stay out evenings,
Stay out too late some evenings,
And momma would be there seething,
Back home.
Momma, she sat and waited,
Sat in the hall and waited,
Now I know why she hated
That phone.
And when Id come in shed grab me,
Right by the arm shed grab me,
Lord, when she was finished with me,
Id cry ... oh, Id cry.
But momma she never told me a lie.
Momma she never told me a lie.
Momma she could control me,
And when I was bad shed scold me,
Sometimes she wouldnt hold me,
And Id cry.
Momma she never told me a lie.
Momma she never promised me the sky.
Momma she never told me a lie.

Guest
Guest came and returned back
I am unlucky not able to know
And slept.
Guest came and returned back
I lost all the beauty and richness
That I have kept.
Guest came and returned back.

I remember now
I remember wanting it back
I remember all the boredom
I remember all the security
I remember holding myself back
I remember the want
I remember the denial
I remember getting it back
I discover all of the excitement
I discover all the new ways
I discover all the acceptance
I discover all of the interest
I discover all the greenest grass
I remember all of the dreams
I remember all the waiting
I remember all the uncertainty
I remember all the letting down
I remember what I ought not to have forgotten
I remember the limbo of my decisions

Swan
Traffic jams, Concorde drones
TV's and radios drown me out
You won't change slamming doors
Temper, temper, that tongue of yours, drown me out
I've told you once when it comes to love
I'm like a swan, I only love once
I've told you once push comes to shove
I'm like a swan
I only love, only love, only love once
Dumbells crash, babies cry
A thousand voices, mostly lies, drown me out
The underground, Marble Arch
The deafening snap of breaking hearts, drown me out
I've told you once when it comes to love
I'm like a swan, I only love once
I've told you once push comes to shove
I'm like a swan
I only love, only love, only love once
Barking dogs, the lonely roam
The great unlaid making their way home, drown me out
I've told you once when it comes to love
I'm like a swan, I only love once
I've told you once push comes to shove
I'm like a swan
I only love, only love, only love once

5. A New School
I remember my first days at school
How the building seemed so big
I remember where I hung my coat
By the picture of a pig
I remember our headmistress
Her face was sprouting hair
I remember I was always told
Not to look it’s rude to stare
I remember all the screaming
From the children how they cried
I remember double swinging doors
That seemed so very wide
I remember in the sandpit
Pouring water-making slush
I remember teacher telling us
Let’s have a little hush
I remember cold school dinners
How the dinner ladies shout
I remember most of all I think
When they told us school was out

Ch 02 The Morals Of Dervishes Story 21
Loqman, being asked from whom he had learnt civility, replied: ‘From those who had no civility because what appeared to me unbecoming in them I refrained from doing.’
Not a word is said even in sport
Without an intelligent man taking advice thereby.
But if a hundred chapters of wisdom are read to a fool
All strike his ear merely as sport.
Do You Remember Any of It? I Do
i remember when i met you
i remember when i fell in love with you
i remember when you said 'i love you'
i remember when i said it back
i remember what we had planed
i remember how perfect we were
i remember the late phone calls
i remember the songs you sang me
i remember when everything turned up side down
i remember the endless nights of tears
i remember wishing things were back to the way they were
i remember how you hurt me
i remember feeling like i was nothing to you
i remember waiting to hear from you again
i remember your last words to me
i remember they were ' i dont know if i love you anymore'
i remember feeling like i just died
i remember thinking you died
i remember the pain
do you remember any of it? i do

A sweet but faithless lady
It was August I remember
I remember when I met her
She was perfect I remember
in her body, mind and soul
In September I remember
I remember her all over
She was perfect I remember
in her body, mind and soul
In October I remember
I remember her all over
We were lovers I remember
in body, mind and soul
In November I remember
I remember lies she told me
She was unfaithful I remember
Unfaithful to the worst degree
In December I remember
I remember it was over
Even though she told me to leave her alone
I still remember her sweet bitter soul? ? ?

Get It Back
Remember when
It all began
We were all in love
Then came the friends
Telling you when your time for me
Was good enough
I constantly had to compete
With you crew and their schemes
Remembering
Back in the day I used to mean everything
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
Now tell me why
All of them nights
You had so much to go
When you said bye
Sometimes I tried, I tried
To make you choose
Now tell me how you can allow
You boys to control the time
We shared it was unfair
But now its time for you to know
(now if I told you)
That Im moving on
(boy what would you do)
Things just aint the same
(we were supposed to)
Conquer everything, yeah
(boy let me tell you)
Youre got to make a change
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)
(do you rememebr)
The way you used to love
You would kiss and hug me
(I rememebr)
U havent lately
(do you remember)
All the things you gave me
Everywhere youd take me
(cant you see that)
I really really need you back
If we could just get it back
(to the way it used to be)
My only wish would be that
(nothing would change with you and me)
I remember how it was
(and I know that for a fact)
We were oh so deep in love
(if we could just get it back)

I Told You So
Verse 1
Suppose I called you up tonight
And told you that I love you
And suppose I said I want to come back home
And suppose I cried and said I think I finally learned my lesson
And Im tired of spending all my time alone
If I told you that I realized youre all I ever wanted
And its killing me to be so far away
Would you tell my that you love me too
And would we cry together
Or would you simply laugh at me and say...
Chorus
I told you so, I told you so
I told you some day youd come crawling back
And asking me to take you in
I told you so, but you had to go
Now Ive found somebody new
And you will never break my heart in two again
Verse 2
If I got down on my knees
And told you I was yours forever
Would you get down on yours too and take my hand
Would we get that old-time feeling
Would we laugh and talk for hours
The way we did when our love first began
Would you tell me that youve missed me too
And that youve been so lonely
And youve waited for the day that I returned
And wed live and love forever
And that Im your one and only
Or would you say the tables finally turned
And would you say...
(chorus)

I Told You So - Carrie Underwood
Suppose I called you up tonight,
And told you that I love you,
And suppose I said I wanna come back home.
And suppose I cried and said I think
I finally learned my lesson, and I'm
Tired of spendin' all my time alone.
If I told you that I realized
You're all I ever wanted,
And it's killin' me to be so far away.
Would you tell me that you love me, too,
And would we cry together,
Or would you simply laugh at me and say...
(Chorus)
I told you so, oh, I told you so,
I told you someday you'd come
Crawlin' back and askin' me to take you in.
I told you so, but you had to go.
Now, I've found somebody new,
And you will never break
My heart in two again.
If I got down on my knees, and told you I was yours forever,
Would you get down on yours, too,
And take my hand?
Would we get that old-time feelin',
Would we laugh and talk for hours,
The way we did when our love first began?
Would you tell me that you've missed me, too,
And that you've been so lonely,
And you've waited for the day that I returned?
And we'd live and love forever,
And that I'm your one and only,
Or would you say the table's finally turned?
And would you say...
(Chorus)
Now, I've found somebody new,
And you will never break
My heart in two again.

Civility
Achieving civility through one's ability,
To be respectful...
Is a lesson listening children should learn,
As a goal of humanity.
But a doing of it,
Seems not in this existence to be permitted.
A future substituted with a digging up of its roots,
Is not a future that grows...
To bloom to peaks.
Without civility a society withers to become bleak.

I guess we had different plans
You told me it had to end now
you ignored explaining how
you told me nothing will be strange
but you were wrong
I told you everything will change
but i stayed strong
And i said:
i'll remember you when the sun sais goodbye
i'll remember you when the rain does cry
i'll remember you when i see them smile
becuase your what made my life worth every while
you told me it had to be done
you told me you'll think of me when your gone
I wished you a safe journey
though it hurts
then as my teary eye sight
slowly blurs
I said:
i'll remember you when the sun sais goodbye
i'll remember you when the rain does cry
i'll remember you when i see them smile
becuase your what made my life worth every while
time did not cross that fast
beautiful chances had passed
if i could just kiss your cheek once more
to let you know
without you in my heart my life my all
i can not go
And i'll say..............................
