Most men make little use of their speech than to give evidence against their own understanding.

Impediment
Impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
It's evident.
There is an impediment.
It's evidence.
And imminent is this impediment living.
Sitting and getting in the way not giving.
Impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
Is evident.
There is an impediment.
It's evident.
An impediment...
Is evidence.
A flowered talking doesn't pay,
Today.
When much deceit,
Is released.
And it feeds and increases.
'Where are those truth and honest days? '
They are gone in thin air...
With respect that had been there!
There is an impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
Is evident.
There is an impediment.
That is evidence and it's evident.
A flowered talking doesn't pay,
Today.
When much deceit,
Is released.
And it feeds and increases.
That is evidence and it's evident.
'Where are those truth and honest days? '
They are gone in thin air...
With respect that had been there!
And imminent is this impediment living.
Sitting and getting in the way not giving.
That is evidence and it's evident.
Impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
Is evident.
There is an impediment.
That's evident as evidenced.

Understanding and Knowledge
Those who know don’t talk;
Those who talk don’t know;
Those who speak don’t write;
Those who write don’t speak.
Those who think don’t actions;
Those who actions don’t think;
Those who think don’t judge;
Those who judge don’t do.
Small understanding is no match for great understanding;
Small knowledge cannot understand great knowledge knows.
Great wisdom has great understanding;
Great knowledge has wise sayings.
Great knowledge and understanding is wide and vast;
Small knowledge and understanding is trivial and cramped.
Great speech blaze forth as a huge fire;
Small speech is empty and trivial.
We understand what is appropriate;
Because of what we understand to be inappropriate.
We understand right;
Because of our understanding of wrong.
Use the light of wisdom to see,
Beyond the world of right and wrong.
One can only really understand things,
By understanding one’s true self.

People make suggestions on what to say all the time. I'll give you an example; I don't read what's handed to me. People say, 'Here, here's your speech, or here's an idea for a speech.' They're changed. Trust me.

Evidence Of Love
By chris farren & steve diamond
When I look for the love in your eyes,
You turn away
And theres nothing as loud as the words
We never say
Look at us now, standing on the edge again
Look at us now, its not too late to try again
I need some...
Evedence of love, to keep me going on
Please show me some
Evidence of love, and Ill be here
I still believe we can see it through,
Theres just so much, that I can do
It dosent make sense, without some evidence of love
Theres a cold, cold look on your face,
Is it saying good-bye?
cause theres nothing as cold as the ashes,
When the fire has died
Talk to me now, tell me what youre missing
Talk to me now, Ill try and find your heart again
I need some...
Evedence of love, to keep me going on
Please show me some
Evidence of love, and Ill be here
I still believe we can see it through,
Theres just so much, that I can do
It dosent make sense, without some evidence of love
Stand and fight
Try to say whats on your mind, baby
So much is on the line
Theres a chance well makit right
Look at us now, standing on the edge again
Look at us now, its not too late to try again
I need some...
Evedence of love, to keep me going on
Please show me some

Understanding
It seems like only yesterday
I didn't have a clue
I stood alone not knowin where to turn
Now suddenly I look around
And everything looks new
I don't know why, but I think I'm startin' to learn
They call it understanding
A willingness to grow
I'm finally understanding
There's so much I can know
Until the day you came along
I used to just get lost
I only heard the things I wanted to hear
It always seemed like no one cared
But then you took the time
And now I look and everything seems clear
You've got me understanding
You've really helped me see
I'm finally understanding
It's meant so much to me
You've got me understanding
You're really on my side
You've got me understanding

Scribbling Some Lines
scribbling some lines
forms of escape from
traps and grills
lines that give us wings
to fly
lines that give us claws
to defend ourselves
lines that shall make
us understand
what knots are there
that we cannot untangle
but sometimes i go within
and inside myself
i say: what for? does understanding
untie the knots that entangle us?
my friend, there is no need
to understand
no amount of understanding
can set us free
just go, walk, and talk
and take your time
comfort yourself with
a little drink
a little smile
a little rest
a little of everything
for soon
just like anything
everything puffs out
and becomes
over.

Speeeeeech!
does it make difference you speak in front of many people or alone
does it make difference you speech in historic place or in your toilet
does it make difference you are charismatic leader or unknown beggar from streetside
it makes difference you speak to clash conflict or for better world
it makes difference you speech bonded by past or to move forward
it makes difference you depend by fact or just soap service
does it make difference you read from text or speak fluently
does it make difference you speech in busy market or deserted mountain
does it make difference you write words yourself or scrap it from books and paper
it makes difference everybody exitedly listens or sleeps peacefully on their seats
it makes difference you have freedom to speak or prisoned by intimidation
it makes difference it gives effect or just a long boring speech

We need to ask our policy makers and those we elect to office who are supposed to make decisions to give us the evidence of the facts that are behind the decisions that we make. We should be skeptical.

Make no laws whatever concerning speech, and speech will be free; so soon as you make a declaration on paper that speech shall be free, you will have a hundred lawyers proving that "freedom does not mean abuse, nor liberty license"; and they will define and define freedom out of existence. Let the guarantee of free speech be in every man's determination to use it, and we shall have no need of paper declarations. On the other hand, so long as the people do not care to exercise their freedom, those who wish to tyrannize will do so; for tyrants are active and ardent, and will devote themselves in the name of any number of gods, religious and otherwise, to put shackles upon sleeping men.

It always seems to me extreme rashness on the part of some when they want to make human abilities the measure of what nature can do. On the contrary, there is not a single effect in nature, even the least that exists, such that the most ingenious theorists can arrive at a complete understanding of it. This vain presumption of understanding everything can have no other basis than never understanding anything. For anyone who had experienced just once the perfect understanding of
one single thing, and had truly tasted how knowledge is accomplished, would recognize that of the infinity of other truths he understands nothing.

When I Made That Choice
god came to me in a dream one night,
and whispered, 'by your gifts you are named'.
to some i give dignity,
to some i give grieving.
to some i give prophecy,
to some i give doubt.
to some i give determination,
to some i give faith.
to some i give patience,
to some the gift of listening.
to some i give peace,
to some revolution.
to some i give healing,
to some i give suffering.
to some i give love,
to some i give loss.
to some i give eyes,
to some i give feet.
to all i give understanding,
though few choose to take it....
and remember, you chose your own gifts! '...
and i thought for awhile,
and then asked....
'but what about me? '
god laughed...
'to a few infidels i give poetry,
to sing to the weary! '
god, what was i thinking,
when i made that choice?

Hebrews 11: 1
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the light of the Lord that opens the door
Reveling the light of heaven serene
the evidence of things not seen
My God has revealed the evidence
His glorious power with consequence
Healing me and making me clean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith in Christ without reservation
releaved the pain of my aberration
So open His book to see what I mean
the evidence of things not seen
Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen

Fragments Of Solid Stone
Assumptions understood,
Hampers an understanding one demands.
Clarity misted in foggy speech...
Makes less sense,
When passed from first
To second hand.
How to keep integrity protected,
When it is infected with flaws?
How can statements be respected...
When truth is kept behind shut jaws?
Not a shred of honesty seeps,
When one seeks to appease...
With a purpose to awe!
Assumptions understood,
Hampers an understanding one demands.
Clarity misted in foggy speech...
Makes less sense,
When passed from first
To second hand.
And taking a stand,
To reveal realities be known...
May be tossed about like pieces of plastic,
To convince distractions of the masses,
These are fragments of solid stone!
