All the time our union was progressing very nicely. There were lectures to make us understand what trades unionism is and our real position in the labor movement.

The Greening Of America
Shes closing all the shades
She finds the daylight just a little freighting
She pulls the peddles overhead each day
But shes opening her business is blooming nightly
And every time it does it gets me tazy
The color of her head changing every day
A little breath of wind and I just go crazy
The greening of americas progressing smoothly
Cuz shes choosing me
Its later then I said
And all the worlds a shade of black and purple
Everybody else has gone to bed
But when she makes me happy I just fly in circles
And every time she does I just get teary
The color of head changing everyday
A little puff of wind and shes always near me
The greening of america is progressing nicely
Its all right with me
Ba ba ba ba na na na na na etc.
If theres another life, and if get to chose Id like
To be a daisy
Ill stay up waiting for my dusky wife
To open and get high with just my jasmine baby
And every time she does it gets me crazy
The color of her head changing every day
A little breath of wind and I just get crazy
The greening of americas progressing nicely
Its all right with me-every time she does, just get teary
The color of her head changing every day
A little breath of wind and shes always near me
The greening of americas progressing smoothly
Cuz shes choosing me

When I saw Arnold say that he didn't need a union, because people in his position don't need it, I thought, this is a very naive way to present yourself. It's also kinda dumb about making movies. It doesn't realize how the union movement even helps the star.

Now, if we look at the way in which the labor movement itself has evolved over the last couple of decades, we see increasing numbers of black people who are in the leadership of the labor movement and this is true today.

Stone statue
I am like a stone statue,
In a sitting position,
I'm your throne,
On which you nicely
Take place
From time to time.
In order to kiss me
With the kiss of death,
You nicely take your place,
Inside of me,
From time to time.

Well, we see an increasingly weaker labor movement as a result of the overall assault on the labor movement and as a result of the globalization of capital.

You may see the emergence of a new political party from the body of the trade union movement which represents a very clear-cut socialist alternative policy and which gives expression to the views of the trade union movement in parliament.

Nicely Polished
You don't understand 'she' who is called your wife,
And she doesn't understand 'he' who is called her husband;
But nicely painted and nicely polished is the muse of love! !
However, you don't want to be wet again like yesterday in the rain.

Go on, hold me position, just a hold me position
Just like Jesus Christ in the valley of decision

Got him plan from the older one
Him had to hold him position, had to hold him position yeh
Hold him position, had to hold him position
Well rhythm like this makes me and me daughter
Go down at the dance, bubble on the corner
When the rhythm is sweet, we a go hold tighter
Rub-adub like this makes you go one
So you hold your position
Say you hold you position aya
Hold your position, say hold your position
Things and time was a getting slow let off the rhythm
Let the good time roll
Don't bother go a slow and stay a back row
I man come to make the rhythm
Just a rock and flow, because me hold me position
Just a hold me position
Special request to 39 Acker Tree, Frontline, everyman on Kime

Yes, Daddy Stone, me in the dance hall style
So we really come to make it versatile
Because one of a kind we come to blow your mind
So you should hold you position
Yes, hold your position, aya
Hold your position, hold your position
Hold Your Position (cont'd) Stones
Skank steady, Skank Steady
I tell you rock the rhythm
You should skank down steady
You know you say, it heavier than lead
Kinda tougher than tough
You know that Jah, Jah covers
Since he stands over us
So hold your position
Hold your position
Move to the east, and you could a move to the west
Lyrics like this Jab know never go jest
Say chunk ice water say right to your chest
Intercity, outer city everywhere the best you better
Hold you position, just hold your position
Hold you position, say hold your position
Well rhythm like this is really so hot
Let off the vilse because a legal shot
Because we hold our position
Yes, we hold our position aya

The soul in me is really hers
I do not know how to make my eyes, which
Move impatiently around
To have a glance of her,
Understand
That she herself is my vision
I do not know how to make my ears, which
Long for hearing
The sweet voice of hers,
Understand
That she keeps singing inside me
I do not know how to make my heart, which
Throbs for an
Intimate togetherness with her,
Understand
That each of its pulse is triggered by her thought
I do not know how to make my hands, which
Are gnawingly desirous
Of caressing her
Understand
That I am yet to recover from the
Scintillation of her previous touch
I do not know how to make my lips, which
Restlessly bother me
With their thirst for a passionate kiss of hers
Understand
That I still hold on to
The taste of the previous experience
I do not know how to make my olfactory nerves, which
Consistently seek to get
The smell of hers
Understand
That the entire air
Is laden with the scent of her fragrance
I do not know how to make the soul inside me, which
In solitude
Cries for a heartful union with her
Understand
That the soul in me is really hers

It was the labor movement that helped secure so much of what we take for granted today. The 40-hour work week, the minimum wage, family leave, health insurance, Social Security, Medicare, retirement plans. The cornerstones of the middle-class security all bear the union label.

My Love Is For Real
(rhett lawrence / paula abdul)
I made mistakes when I played with your mind
Gave you excuses with each story line
If you ask me how I feel
My love is for real
Watching you wondering what I feel inside
Deep in my soul Ive got nothing to hide
If you ask me how I feel
My love is for real
If you ask me how I feel
My love is for real
So baby please dont worry
I wanna make it better
I wanna be your only love
This time Ill understand you
Ill never leave your side
This time its got to be for you
Lets put an end to these long lonely nights
Things that were once wrong now turned out all right
If you ask me how I feel
My love is for real
If you ask me how I feel
My love is for real
You told me, you loved me
You said that
I need you, you want me
I told you
So baby I wont tease you
Im gonna make it better
Im wanna be your only love
This time Ill understand you
Ill never leave your side
This time its got to be for you
If you ask me how I feel
My love is for real

Love and sex
“I am confused with love and sex”
I was argued straight on face
I had to answer with full logic
As human relation has its basic
It is nothing but one supplement to another
No one can lead it without either
One must understand the basic concept of nature
Life can be understood fully and made sure
We are basically wild animal but refined
With change of time very nicely defined
But basic instinct remain that of animal
We go wild and put the shows dismal
Not that we can not control and regulate
Not that we can not express or relate
But at certain time we are driven crazy
Very fast at acceptance and never a lazy
It spoils the relation at first
Some hurry may make it worst
The sexual desire may overcome frankness
The relation is soured and results in hardness
I would not mix love with lust
No one can deny it is not must
Whether it is through love or one sided
It has some reason behind and very much provided
So when I demand for it means little of importance
It may be often or once a while or at once
That gives little of satisfaction for some union
That can lead on to prove good companion
This is how some of the good relations are built
It has no bad intention to be called guilt
They are nicely understood and given go ahead
Life is to be made smooth with resolve to lead
I shall. not shroud it in thick cloud
To malign it often speak so loud
Love demands strict confidence and privacy
It may strengthen with more of its frequency

Love's A Mystery
Real, almost real
I could feel the life flow into my veins
Done, now it's done
I have fallen for the final time
I can't get up again
Love's a mystery i don't understand
Love's supposed to make you glad
Tell me why i feel so sad
Love's a mystery i don't understand
I won't see you anymore
And if that's what love is for
Then i don't understand
Free, now you're free
You don't need me
And you don't want what i give
(baby here is my heart)
Please, help me please
'cause if life is made for hearts in love
Then how am i to live
Love's a mystery i don't understand
It's so hard to be alone
When the one you love is gone
Love's a mystery i don't understand
You won't stay another day
And if that's all you can say
Then i don't understand

The product of mental labor - science - always stands far below its value, because the labor-time necessary to reproduce it has no relation at all to the labor-time required for its original production.
Progressive Rolling
I saw some rocks
Skipping down hill
They jumped so joyfully
It gave me a thrill
Dislodged by falling rain
They seemed so proud to be free
They seemed to have been aware
Of their brand new destiny
Like rolling rocks
Be on the move
Every turn and tumble
Your position to improve
Even when removed
From a peak real high
Keep on progressing
And never say die
This poem was motivated by an actual experience of seeing rocks rolling down a hill while driving through a rain storm.
