Drawing is giving a performance; an artist is an actor who is not limited by the body, only by his ability and, perhaps, experience.

Claude Rains was what we call an actor's actor. He was very involved with himself and his performance.

I have my own little sense of style. As far as image goes today for a new artist, you'll find that fashion is really important. I wouldn't want to show up for a performance in something that is absolutely the opposite of who I am as an artist.

Behind the Scenes
The actor struts his little hour,
Between the limelight and the band;
The public feel the actor's power,
Yet nothing do they understand
Of all the touches here and there
That make or mar the actor's part,
They never see, beneath the glare,
The artist striving after art.
To them it seems a labour slight
Where nought of study intervenes;
You see it in another light
When once you've been behind the scenes.
For though the actor at his best
Is, like a poet, born not made,
He still must study with a zest
And practise hard to learn his trade.
So, whether on the actor's form
The stately robes of Hamlet sit,
Or as Macbeth he rave and storm,
Or plays burlesque to please the pit,
'Tis each and all a work of art,
That constant care and practice means --
The actor who creates a part
Has done his work behind the scenes.

Experience shows that success is due less to ability than to zeal. The winner is he who gives himself to his work, body and soul.

The actor has to develop his body. The actor has to work on his voice. But the most important thing the actor has to work on is his mind.

What This 'Oneness' Means
No one born into this life,
Has been sent to evaluate...
The creations of God.
Or the work of the Angels,
With distorted interpretations.
There are many who have the ability to quote.
But few have the courage to live and accept...
We all are part of the experience.
None are here to inspect and reject,
That which God has selected as HIS best.
Upset are those people,
Choosing to divide and separate...
Based upon ethnic values,
Assumed by a few to make them great.
From an isolation in which to generate their hate.
Upset are those people,
Who congegate to celebrate...
What others need to fulfill their lives.
With limited possibilities.
They place upon others,
With an inflicting done...
To disguise and hide their own insecurities.
No one born into this life,
Has been sent to evaluate...
The creations of God.
Or the work of the Angels,
With distorted interpretations.
There are many who have the ability to quote.
But few have the courage to live and accept...
We all are part of the experience.
None of us have been sent,
To dissect into segments...
The intentions of what a 'Oneness' has meant.
Or to any of us what this 'Oneness' means.

The essence of all jokes, of all comedy, seems to be an honest or well intended halfness; a non performance of that which is pretended to be performed, at the same time that one is giving loud pledges of performance. The balking of the intellect, is comedy and it announces itself in the pleasant spasms we call laughter.

Drawing Feelings
today i am drawing my feelings
and putting them some colors
for you to clearly see
what is the truth
running inside my veins
i am drawing threads
and spider's webs inside
a dark cave
i limited my choices of colors
only to black and red
blood and darkness and labyrinths
and thread falling from a cliff
and running wildly
in all directions

Chocolate Soul
As the day begins the dreams reveal
The night before was a unconscious feel
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving more time to heal
Tears don't necessary lend a hand
The exotic points are about to extend
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving more time to heal
Knowing that hi points touch the thighs
Leaving the feeling of passion within your eyes
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving more time to heal
Touching your skin beyond ectasy
Is Breathtaking enough to calm the seas
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal
Piercing eyes creep through the pane
Embarrassment captures your every saying
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal
Once more you catch your breath
The feeling of euphoria is beyond wealth
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal
Once more you catch your breath
Passion and Envy are tied up in self
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal
Finally the day has end
Remember to touch, feel and speak
Encounters the moments of the soul being weak
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal
Once more you catch your breath
The shivers are a response of something else
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal
The moral of the story may seem unclear
Come closer to me and never fear
Soothing your body from every end
Chocolate Soul is giving time to heal

When a performance isn't working, it's usually because the actor is trying to do something and they're not able to express their idea very well. It's a muddled expression.

What Voice? ...
On this World Voice Day
It's a duty of us all
A pause for reflecting
Thanking the Creator
And all those who gave
And those who keep giving
Their voice for Love
For their wishes for Peace
And for the deepest Lament!
It's the voice of the Humanist
It's the voice of the Actor
It's the voice of the Poet
It's the voice of every Artist
It's the voice of the Scientist
The voice of the voiceless
And the voice of those able to voice it
Yet... they're deprived of doing so
And it doesn't reach us
As it would be fair, though!
