Everyones Fool
I'm everyone's fool.
Like a dunce in the corner I just sit and drool.
Expected to fail, a stupid fool.
Everyone thinks me quite cowardly too.
I'm sick of all their empty words.
Lack of true encouragement truly burns.
Compared to the others I come in third.
They think I'll fail.
Their opinion of me is so pale.
I'm stuck inside this lonley jail.

Many things i see concern me about people

A Personal Choice
I have met some wonderful people and I have met some who are far from nice
Suppose the type of person that you or I are with us is a personal choice
We can be arrogant and judgemental that is if we do wish to be
Or we can be loving and caring at least that's how it seems to me
There isn't any excuse for racism or for putting another person down
Though no shortage of racists and xenophobics since they do live in every town
But no shortage as well of good people I'm lucky I meet them every day
People who are generous and kindhearted and of others ill never do say
'Tis easy for to be judgemental and judge not and thou shalt not be judged seems so true
What goes around always does come around we receive from life what is our due
Treat others as you'd like them to treat you and you will be doing okay
Those who do wrong to other people to karma the price have to pay
With those who say we can choose the type of person that we are I cannot say I disagree

Naïveté
I can understand why some people are perceived as naïve.
I once believed everything I was told.
Never thinking anyone would have something up their sleeve.
Or be as cold,
To make attempts to deceive.
Or be as bold.
But did if they could!
Making me distrust...
When as a child as I grew up,
In my neighborhood.
Trying to be 'good' with a lingering innocence.
But feeling duped and stupid.
With a naked sense of vulnerability.
And doing my best...
To keep that and my curiosity protected.
I was an unusual child!
And those were the rough years.
When people said anything to impressionable kids!
And I did my best to try to tell the difference.
I tried to keep my awareness hidden...
By the silly things I often did.
Those times today...
Don't seem that far away.
And still there are people who dupe others.
Either to get under someone's sheets...
Or lie sweetly to get something wished as a treat!
And not being discreet about these transgressions at all!
Playing on the minds of those known to show kindness.
And caring less how they get what they get when they get it!
But in the end...
Their failures come to light!
Becoming the ones stunned...
When their lives come crashing to a fall!
Becoming the ones proving they too can look dumb!
And reacting with naïveté...
When they are the ones passed,
By others observing them as they crawl!
It just appears as something natural that they do!
Who knew...
They just enjoyed the screwing done?
And not getting it in return too?

Isn't that 'old' saying said yesterday...
As good today and just as true?
But I must admit,
They do look out of place.

Monkeys and Talent
Some people say that man comes from monkeys but the Good Book tells it different and brother if you believe what some people say. I'd rather be that monkey then you any old days. Speaking of talents which I wasn't. Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.
Names I've been called stupid. I been called dumb. I've been called lots of things and then some, but I'm smart enough to know I'm just as good as you and so, I say to you who call me names. I hold no of rudge or place no blame. Being stupid is some times smart and playing dumb is just a part of life, and one of the smartest people I know is ME.
